Lil Lucifer au and Casino Cups Headcanons Silly edition!

-Pachinko worked at the devils casino during the events of the game he just called in sick that day

-Mugman has gone a week without sleeping before and has always just crashed (as in collapsing onto the ground) in the middle of his shift

-The daisy to this day continues to try and feed Cuphead and Mugman dirt.

-Raziel is scared of cucumbers

-Lucifer used to scratch and bite when fighting his siblings

-Gabriel does not know how to braid hair

-Their was no big love confession between Devil and Dice they just sorta went :

“wanna start dating?”

-Uriel gossips with Raguel in private sometimes

-Zadikel tries to eat those small squishy fidgets that are shaped like animals every time he sees one

casino cups/cuphead au: mugman & cuphead still started working at the casino, but instead of (seemingly) not harbouring any resentment or anger towards the crew… what if, as more and more time went on, the angrier they both got?

what if, eventually, once mugman finally, FINALLY gains immortality for them and their brother—because in this world, immortality means POWER, and cuphead wants power to kill the ones who hurt them more then he could ever be worried about what immortality might do to the both of them—after making a deal with azrael, the first thing they do is go the King Dice—

and they kill him. The Devil is next. then Bettigan, then Phear Lap, then Wheezy, then Pirouletta, then Pip ‘n’ Dot, then that stupid fucking toy monkey, then Hocus Pocus, then the Tipsy Troop, and then—they can’t bring themselves to kill Mangosteen, or Pachinko, or any of Dice’s cards or any of the Devil’s imps. Mangosteen is just too damned nice to kill, no matter how fucking much they both still want to do so, and the imps and the cards—they’re all innocent. Pawns (all of them were, in a way, compared to immortals—and well. Look at where idiot Cuphead and bookworm Mugman had ended up now; immortal, and just as powerful as their once-tormenters were, had been.

They weren’t pawns. Not anymore, never, ever, EVER again. Both of them would gladly rather die then be used like the Devil was planning on doing to them, would gladly rather be tortured to death like they’d done the Devil, like they’d done King Dice, like they’d done all of them—)

They never killed them. It was Dice who used his cards to slash open Mugman’s stomach guts one death, and it was the Devil who used his imps’s claws to cut, piece by piece, strip by strip of ceramic not-flesh, Cuphead’s arm off. Not them. And so, Dice’s cards become Mugman’s cards and the Devil’s imps become Cuphead’s diamond-shaped little helpers. They live on. They… make it work, best they can.

Time passes, and then they—the both of them, Cuphead and Mugman each—start to… think.

Honestly, the both of them had mostly just wanted the immortality, the power, all of it, just to spite the Devil and King Dice; which then left the question of what the Hell they were supposed to do with it now that the both of them’re dead. The answer, as it turns out, is nothing. (The answer doesn’t help. Makes things worse, if anything).

And then Cuphead and Mugman start remembering. Mugman about how kind King Dice’d been when teaching them how to use his cards (teaching them his magic), about how fun the verbal spars with the Devil’d been, about how joyful it’d been to get drink with—the entire damned crew after a bad day; Cuphead about how cool it’d been, planning heists and making mission plans with the Devil’d been, about how he’d gossiped with Dice about shitty patrons, dramatic patrons, about everything.

They realise they cheated the both of themselves out of a good thing, a fucking great thing. They realise that they have no one to blame but themselves.

And they think: “fuck, but we had a family.”

SHOKO'S RELATIONSHIP WITH THE STAFF ‼️‼️

Okay this’ll be a bit of a ramble so no art for this one

So Shoko is a very socially anxious person, and because of that she struggles a lot to socialize with the staff members. Without the cup brothers being around she’d honestly avoid talking to them out of fear.

Pachinko’s the one Shoko finds it the easiest to talk to outside of the cup brothers, given he’s very quiet and calm. I wouldn’t necessarily call them friends though, more like acquaintances. Same with Pirouletta. (I don’t know if I spelled her name right)

For Pip and Dot, they haven’t interacted enough for Shoko to form a solid opinion.

She’s acquaintances with the Tipsy Troop, Chips, and Mangosteen mainly because of Cuphead.

Shoko’s a little intimidated by Phear and Hocus Pocus, especially Hocus given (at least from how I interpret him) he can be rather loud and that overwhelms Shoko.

The crew members she dislikes the most are Mr. Wheezey and Mr. Chimes. Mr. Chimes simply freaks her out a little, but she’s completely afraid of Mr. Wheezey (It isn’t his fault though). I won’t explain why now, it’ll be revealed eventually.

Casino cups headcanons and general cuphead headcanons

Casino Cups takes place in 1933, the soul collecting crap took place 3 years earlier in 1930 when the cup bros were 15.

Mugman owns a few more guns than just the shotgun shown in his closet. 

Mugman occasionally goes out as Tallulah and has a group of friends who also enjoy cross dressing. 

Mugman has definitely dated and had crushes on quite a few people even if it was just for a short while. How do you think he realized he was bi?

Cuphead is the better at cooking out of the two brothers. Mugman could get to his brother's level if not better but he never really practices.

Cuphead isn’t very picky with food at all and will eat almost anything. Mugman is picky but will often just force the food down anyways.

Cuphead has great potential with instruments he’s just never tried because he thinks it would be too hard.

Paimon and Cuphead are great friends and bond over how they don’t like people bugging them about relationships. (I headcanon that Paimon is aro ace). Paimon also knows that Cuphead would be really good at playing instruments and keeps offering to teach him. Though Cuphead doesn’t really wanna learn. Though still Paimon nags him about it and knows that he’d be great at it. Which is a surprise to most others since Paimon is very picky about who she picks for her band (I headcanon she has a band who sometimes plays at the Casino or just in hell for money and for fun).

Her plan is to get Cuphead good at at least one or two instruments before she starts his other plan to nag the Devil about letting Cuphead work for her.

His camel isn’t a huge fan of Cuphead though (or anyone really).

The Inkwell Isles are in the Mediterranean Sea just somewhat west of Greece and used to be considered a part of it. 

The Inkwell Isles turned out a lot like America due to the Isles being seen as a good place for immigrants to start anew.

Every once in a while religious groups try to come to the Isles to convert the Isles and spread beliefs. They usually die to gangs or demons pretty fast.

Prohibition still happened on the Isles (this is confirmed by an image about the Tipsy Troops childhood) but it ended after only a few years and didn’t last till 1933 like how it did for America.

Speaking of the Tipsy Troop they had a horrible childhood. Their parents were poor and their mother nearly died having them (they’re triplets). The Troop nearly died a ton of times as children and were put into harsh work environments to make ends meet as children. The reason they keep to the sidelines of the casino is to avoid the risks of getting too involved with casino business despite having worked at the casino for a long while. Their parents died when the troop were around 13. 

Ginettes olive just kind of appeared there one day and she never questioned it. Sometimes she nibbles on between shifts.

Hocus Pocus only became an anthropomorphic rabbit due to an accident with a circus magician he used to work with. Said magician was also the one to teach Hocus most of his tricks and is Hocus’s main inspiration. That magician was like a father to Hocus and was the one to give Hocus the opening to escape the traveling freakshow. Hocus still misses that magician but madness is making him forget more.

Pip and Dot were sold to the freakshow by their parents who never wanted kids, Hocus was just a random talking rabbit the freakshow owners picked up off the street.

The 4th isle still exists but not many people live there and it's considered dangerous due to constant feuding between the Moonshine mob and other smaller gangs. Along with the fact that the island is mostly used for military training (aka The Howling Aces). The 4th isle also has a huge smuggling business with the Moonshine Mob making alcohol to ship to the other isles and other countries. 

Chef Saltbaker also made a deal with the Devil to be the best baker in the land. Then proceeded to steal the contract and burn it with some hell fire he got his hands on. His original wish was to have control of the astral plane but that type of thing is out of the Devil's power and even if he did have that power he would not give it to Chef Saltbaker. The Devil and Chef Saltbaker have a massive hatred of each other and Saltbaker stays on the 4th Isle to be away from the Devil.

Chef Saltbaker and Porkrind were friends a long time ago. Though once Saltbaker started studying powerful magic for nefarious reasons Porkrind split away from him and dislikes him. Though he still hopes that one day Saltbaker will give up on the astral plane crap and go back to the good person he used to be.

Esther Winchester and the Salon are located in a small town on Isle 4 in the desert. The only reason the Moonshine Mob haven’t been disbanded yet is because Esther only works in that area. She’s a very competent sheriff and great at cracking down on criminals.

On the other hand though the Ant cops are the opposite. They actually have deals with the Moonshine Mob and are pretty corrupt and incompetent. Another reason to not go to Isle 4. 

A lot of the members of Mortemer Freeze’s cult were created by Mortemer himself though he denies it. The more members the more imposing the cult seems. The ant cops are aware of how bad the cult is yet refuse to do anything about it due to being afraid.

The librarian owl hates his job

The reason that all the buildings look so cramped together on the isles is because of the high tides. Cala Maria and the large fish she has make huge waves when they swim around the Isles. Also the closer the Earth is to the moon and the fuller the moon the more the tides rise. When Hildaberg transforms into her moon form the tides get very messed up due to how close she is to the Earth even if she is in crescent shape. Go to the beach at your own risk. BrinyBeard is grateful to be alive.

Dr. Khal lives in the junkyard in the house and lab he made there. He lost his previous job due to concerns of him being insane and using lab materials for personal projects. Cuphead was right about Khal planning to use Mugman for some sort of experiment but Khal was waiting for the right moment. He waited too long though.

Pachinko is quiet not only because it's just part of his personality but he’s from Japan and isn’t good with the isles languages. Also he literally skates around the casino on those wheels he’s got. He’s fast and efficient and often zooms past fast enough that no one really gets to see him or talk to him. He also has a teensy crush on Mugman, just hasn’t realized it yet. 

Pirouletta is fully aware of Pachinko’s crush and actually introduced Pachinko to Mugman because if she didn’t Pachinko would be too shy to talk to him.

Baroness Von Bon Bons candy realm from the show is still here but the rules only apply to those who go in deep enough. That’s why the cup bros were able to eat some of the sweets from there without issue.

Even though he was done with work, Cuphead still had to go back to the casino to reconvene with Mugman if he wanted to go home. If he tried to head home by himself Mugs would have no idea where he went and he would just worry his levitating head off all night. But god he would give anything to not have to make eye contact with either of his bosses for at least a week now.

‘Siiiiigh. Hey brother, sorry I was gone for so long… ’ he greeted Mugman exhausted and confused after his experience in the forest

‘Well… it was only like half an hour. And honestly I would never want to show my mug here again if I had disturbed a secret meeting of the ringleaders of hell. Haha…’ Mugman tried to joke having calmed down

‘Let’s just get outta here before anything else can-‘

‘Um, hey guys?’

Cuphead had spoken too soon, as Chips interrupted him

‘Um, hey. What is it?’ Mugman answered

‘Well, the boss wants to see Cuphead in his office’ Chips told them

‘Ooooohhhh…’ Mugs said while awkwardly side-eying Cuphead

‘O…ok…’ Cuphead said dejectedly

‘Good luck partner…’ chips said through gritted teeth while playfully paying him on the back

Cuphead walked down the hall and into the devils office stiff as a board. The devil’s face was covered by a newspaper that he did not even look up from once he’d entered. He stood there for a few seconds and considered just leaving now while he was distracted, but just as he was about to turn around he spoke

‘Cuphead…’

‘Um hey boss…’ Cuphead greeted him in return

He wondered if he should tell him what he saw

‘I think I need to… talk to you…’ he added

‘I need to talk to you too. That’s why you’re here’ said the devil gesturing for him to sit down at the chair across from him

‘Look… I understand you’re little… interruption resulted in a little… a little tiff between you and Dice earlier…’ he said holding two of his fingers to his forehead, this conversation clearly wasn’t coming easily for him

‘Um, well yeah I- I’m so-‘ Cuphead stumbled over an apology but was interrupted by the devil

‘Look, up until now you have been very good about listening to our instructions despite the sudden change of pace that… we haven’t really explained to you’ he said

Cuphead was surprised by where this conversation seemed to be going

‘Seeing as it’s now um negatively impacting the work environment… I think it’s time we gave everyone a well owed explanation…’ the devil said still seeming to be struggling to get these sentences out

Dice entered, he looked a little surprised to see Cuphead sitting right there. And he avoided eye contact when he saw him.

‘Welp! Dice! You two can hash it out in here for a sec! I’ll go get everyone together in the break room! Bye!’ the devil said as quickly as he could and bolted out of the room

King Dice and Cuphead stared awkwardly for a second, until Dice finally spoke up.

‘Listen I- I- didn’t mean to- I- siiiigh- I didn’t mean to get so short with you ok?’ He said

Cuphead still had no idea what was going on

‘A-am I getting pranked???’ he said

‘I’m TRYING to APOLOGIZE! OK?’ Dice snapped

Cuphead didn’t really know what to say

‘Look, I don’t care that you didn’t listen. It’s ok. Alright?’ Dice said putting his hand on Cuphead’s shoulder

‘Um… ok thanks…’ Cuphead said awkwardly

‘Personally, I don’t like how the boss has been acting lately either. I didn’t think it was right for him to be so secretive with everyone but I know this stuff is really personal for him and, I just wanted to respect his privacy.’

Cuphead still said nothing, waiting to see where he was going with this, but then Chips entered.

‘Um, hey Cuphead. Mr Dice. Now boss is calling everyone to the break room’ he said

‘Well, here we go’ Dice said turning to Cuphead and gesturing for him to follow him out

The devil had gotten everyone gathered in the break room. He stood in the center, with a very stern expression on his face. Mugman was there too, and Cuphead sat down next to him.

‘Hey, what did he want?’ Mugs whispered to him

‘I think we’re about to find out’ Cuphead replied

Mugman expressed confusion, but the devil commanded everyone’s attention before he could inquire further.

‘Ok everyone listen up!’

Any whispering in the room was immediately silenced

The devil nervously glanced back at dice who was standing behind him, and he returned with a concerned look and an encouraging nod. The devil took a deep breath and began

‘Now, surely you’ve noticed some… unusual things going on around the casino…’

He paused for just a moment, some of the workers nodded.

‘Well, since this technically affects you too I- felt that I owe everyone an explanation for the recent changes…’

He looked back at dice again, who nodded again in his direction

‘I’m sure you’ve noticed the type of… guests we’ve been having over lately… some of hell’s… military personnel…’ he continued

‘Well, hell has an… old enemy… that seems to have re-emerged. And believe me when I say they’re a HEAVY HITTER, for all demonkind. And… I’ve just been, throwing EVERYTHING into preparing for a confrontation with them…’

‘And I guess… I should be preparing the rest of you too…’

Confused muttering emerged throughout the small room. The devil pulled out a large wooden case and positioned it on the floor in the center of the room for everyone to see.

Ever you one crowded around curiously. The devil opened it to reveal inside at least a dozen ornate shiny knives, with golden hilts and blades that were slightly curved, all varying in size.

‘Wha- What the hell are these?!’ Mr Wheezy exclaimed

‘Immortal blades. Enough for everyone, but we won’t be using them today so- HEY HANDS OFF! WHAT DID I JUST SAY?!’

At the devils scolding, Pachinko immediately yanked his hands away from the smallest knife

‘We’ll start training tomorrow’ the devil said and then turned to exit the break room

‘Training? GASP ARE WE GONNA LEARN TO FIGHT WITH THESE THINGS?!’ Mangs asked enthusiastically

‘I just want you all to know some basics, in case you run into into someone… unfriendly’ the devil answered

‘No… way…’ mugs said excited but flabbergasted

‘What do you mean ‘unfriendly’?’ asked Phear who up until now had been silent

‘I think you’ll know them when you see them… ’ the devil answered

As he passed through the door and made the case snap shut, levitate, and follow him out… he whispered something else. Under the impression that no one could hear, but Cuphead certainly did.

‘Because I know he’s close… ’
