Heart, Soul & Mind — Henchman TV Tropes
Warning, this fanmade trope contains spoilers so please read with care and enjoy.
Yep, the fanfiction has its own Henchman. Despite being a demon and is the most loyal minion, Henchman, much like his counterpart from the cartoon is a Nice Guy. Despite having a very small role, he still provides some entertainment every now and then.
Adaptational Nice Guy: While he has the same design and colouring as the Fat Demons in the final phase of the Devil’s boss level, he is a much more affable Minion with an F in Evil with no malicious bone in his body.
Affably Evil: For a loyal minion, he’s a very friendly fellow.
Demoted to Extra: He doesn’t have much of a large role in the fanfiction other than he’s there because the authoresses liked to have him in it.
Mythology Gag: He and the Devil pick with the small gag with Henchman adding in “Head” whenever his boss mentions about Cuphead as just “that Cup”, followed up by the Devil saying “Thank you, Henchman” just like in the cartoon.
Verbal Tic: Much like his counterpart from The Cuphead Show!, he starts his sentences with “Dah” and pepper his sayings with filler noises.

I was listening to Mario Party 9 music called ,,Bowser Jr.’s Mad” and I had idea of this... Thing. I gonna name him Diahert Clubades (Mix of card symbols names). Looks like some kind of casino Cuphead boss and probably that will be his role in my drawings. If this really will happen, the reason why he was a Devil’s debtor would be the fact he gave away his soul for Wild Card: One card that can give items life and power-up already living beings. I’m going to draw him also in my own style, so this is just first sketch. Also, if you want to hear the music I was listening to, here you are.

okay but GUYS
Bendy as a Cuphead boss.
Like I know that there are probably a million things like this already, but I’ve put so much thought into this already its not even funny.
“Bendy in: Born from the Ink”
The fight takes place within some sort of relevant location within Joey Drew Studios, possibly the Sacrifice room in Chapter Two, or maybe the ink-filled corridor on Level Eleven.
The music is an amped-up jazz remix of “Build Our Machine.” (At least until the last phase.)
Phase One:
Just your regular old demon boi as seen in the cartoons.
Bendy is rather scared of Cuphead (and/or Mugman), so he will run around the screen like he did in Tombstone Picnic.
His attacks consist of: Nothing! He goes down in a couple of hits.
His “mini-knockout” animation consists of him crying. Any pity the players gain for him will completely evaporate by the end.
Phase Two:
Bendy immediately runs over to an ink pipe and smashes it, causing ink to flood everywhere. Cuphead’s movement speed is reduced dramatically while in the ink, but luckily several small platforms have risen up out of the ink.
The goal of this phase is not to damage Bendy, but to turn (read: parry three times) all three ink valves that appear in the corners of the screen.
Bendy, in the meanwhile, is sucked into the ink pipe, and uses it to his advantage to move around the screen very quickly and launch a variety of surprise attacks. These escalate in number and difficulty as more valves are turned.
The first ink valve has four globs of ink surrounding it. Cuphead has to dodge in between the ink in order to reach the valve. The second valve has six ink blobs, and the third valve has eight, with only one gap.
Bendy’s attacks while in this phase consist of these.
Spraying some ink from the pipe in an arc that covers a large amount of the screen.
Creating a ‘geyser’ of ink from the ground.
Poking his tail out from within an ink pipe and swinging it around in a large radius.
Jumping out from within an ink puddle near Cuphead and swinging at him..
Phase Three:
The ink drains from the studio as Bendy’s devilish grin returns, and he does the classic two-fingers cartoon whistle. A miniature Ink Machine with tank treads rumbles in, smashing all the platforms, and with a gloating little wink, Bendy hops in. (This is based off of an art I saw once.)
Now much more confident, Bendy reveals his whole slew of attacks.
The Ink Machine revvs up for a short while, then charges straight at the player across the screen, similar to Werner Werman from Murine Corps (who, by the way, is my favorite boss in Cuphead, aside from the Devil), except, instead of receiving parryable pink springs, you must jump and dash over the charging demon-mobile.
Bendy presses a button on the Ink Machine, and its nozzle begins to spew a steady stream of ink, along with several Searchers that come out in a line, similar to Captain Brineybeard’s “dog fish,” except these little buggers give you an extra upward boost when parried with the axe. (Eh? See what I did there?)
The Ink Machine’s nozzle un-bends and turn horizontal, firing huge globs of ink at you. They can come from the bottom lane, middle lane, top lane, or even come flying down at you from above. About one in five of these are pink, giving you what you need to get the required 3 parries for an S-rank.
Bendy’s tail will seemingly “draw” objects that form in mid-air and bounce along the screen. These objects include but are not limited to: bacon soup cans, ink pots, axes, an ENTIRE FRIKKIN LITTLE MIRACLE STATION, and maybe a projector or two.
Phase Four:
At this point, the Ink Machine breaks down and Bendy leaps out. He glares at Henry, then... begins to change.
Yep. You all knew this was going to happen, folks! Bendy transforms into the Ink Demon.
At this point, the music changes from the jazz “Build Our Machine” to a jazz version of “Little Devil Darling,” perhaps slightly lengthened, as that song is pretty short.
The room flood with ink, and Ink Bendy begins to chase you through the halls. All the while during this phase, drops of ink are falling from the ceiling that damage you when touched. Cuphead must continue running to one side while simultaneously attempting to damage Bendy, ideally with the Roundabout shot.
The main obstacle here is the dripping ink, but Bendy has a lot fo difficult attacks as well:
Lunging and swiping at Cuphead
Launching some bouncing balls of ink
Calling a random Butcher Gang monster, which comes from the opposite end of the screen, attacks three times, and the leaves, unless it is killed first.
Making a surprise Searcher pop out from the ink
When Bendy is knocked out, his bad leg gives out, and he falls to the floor, pounding on it with his fists.
#may add more attacks when i think of them#bendy and the ink machine#cuphead#fanmade boss#eclectic post#eclectic writings#is this an AU?

Name: Charlotte Scarlet Location: Inkwell Isle II Level: Musical Malice Gender: Female Role: Robot Entertainer Singer Dancer Inspiration: Sailor Moon, Mettaton from Undertale, Freddy Fazbear from Five Nights at Freddy's, Madoka Kaname from Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Hatsune Miku from Vocaloid and various anime/cartoon magical girls and children's entertainment animatronics Phases: 3 Forms: 2 Moveset: Musical Note Bombs Doki Doki Charge Deadly Kiss Spotlight Sparks (Spotlight Lamps) Laser Lights (Spotlight Lamps) Solar Sawblades Lunar Boomerangs Sonic Scream Heart Breaker Fireballs Minions: Flying Hearts Spotlight Lamps Parry Objects: Flying Hearts (if they are pink) Kisses Suns (if they are pink) Moons (if they are pink) Broken Hearts (if they are pink) Fireballs (if they are pink) Charlotte Scarlet is a fanmade boss in Cuphead. She is a tall magical girl-esque robot with a Sailor Moon-esque hairstyle and a cheery personality. Unlike the other Inkwell Isle I-III bosses (unless you count Vladimir Vladinstein the III and Hazel Wicked), she is not a debtor and never made a deal with the Devil. Intro: Before the battle, Charlotte waves happily at the audience with a microphone in her other hand and she throws the microphone aside and does a magical girl like pose. Phase 1: "If you think I'm done with this song, I have a funny feeling you'd be wrong." - Charlotte Scarlet, Phase 1 Death Screen In this phase, Charlotte would start singing as she summon bombs that resemble musical notes to rain at the player(s) unless the player(s) either shoot them or dodge them. She would also summon flying hearts with wings from her forehead gem and order them to charge at the player(s). They have to be shot, dodged or parried (if the hearts are pink). She would also have to blow a kiss at the player(s), which can be parried. After taking enough damage, she growls in annoyance and starts dancing as spotlight lamps suddenly appear to shine lights on her, commencing the second phase. Phase 2: "My melodies can win the fight with one mighty powerful spotlight." - Charlotte Scarlet, Phase 2 Death Screen In this phase, Charlotte would continue dancing as she signals the spotlights to shoot sparks (and sometimes lasers) at the player(s). While dancing, she would occasionally throw sawblade suns and boomerang moons at the player(s). If the suns and moons are pink, that would mean that they would have to be parried. After taking enough hits, Charlotte will dramatically scream and fall off the stage. On Simple difficulty, she simply gets knocked out with birds flying around above her head, and the battle ends. Final phase: "I'LL BE THE ONE WHO BRINGS THE VIOLENCE WHILE YOU'LL BE THE ONE WHOSE LOST IN THE SILENCE!" - Charlotte Scarlet, Final Phase Death Screen After Charlotte falls off from the previous phase, she will reappear in a pale, bulky, hideous, terrifying, eyeless, monochrome state and roar at the player(s) as her forehead gem turns into a third eye. After this, she gets back on the stage, commencing the final phase. Her main attack is to scream at the player(s) to shoot sonic waves, consisting of 5 white ring-like projectiles, to where the players are at the moment she has screamed. Charlotte lets out three slow/normal/fast sonic screams. (Note: Her screams in the Final Phase are similar to this one... FNAF 1 Full Jumpscare Sound) She can make broken hearts out of stone and throw them at the player(s). She also opens her stomach mouth to shoot white (or pink) fireballs. If the broken hearts and fireballs are pink, they can be parried. During these attacks, she would let out a psychotic laughter (similar to this one... Little, Nasty, Devilish Laugh) After dealing enough damage, Charlotte will malfunction, causing her to spazz out and her head to spin around as the battle ends. Fun fact: Being a popular robot entertainer, Charlotte never needed to made a deal with the Devil. Also, she can turn into her Final Phase form whenever she gets extremely aggressive and hostile. Also, she is an expy of Sailor Moon and Freddy Fazbear (Five Nights at Freddy's), though her Final Phase is an expy of Nightmare Fredbear (Five Nights at Freddy's 4) and Fun Girl (Yandere Simulator). Name: Vladimir Vladinstein III Location: Inkwell Isle I Level: Soviet Smackdown Gender: Male Role: Soviet Squirrel Soldier Machete Wielder Teddy Bear Maker Licensed Tank Drive Russian Dancer/Street Performer (not in-battle BTW) Inspiration: Werner Werman and various iconic tv, cartoon, anime, video game and movie squirrels and Soviet/Russian soldiers Phases: 4 Forms: 1 Moveset: Machete Swing Machete throw Bullets Mecha Mallet (Teddy Bear Machine) Summoning Teddy Bears (Teddy Bear Machine) Rifle Shots (Teddy Bear Soldiers) Ribbon Twirl (Teddy Bear Soldiers) Laser Blast Hammer Raining Grenades Minions: Teddy Bear Machine Teddy Bear Soldiers Dancing Teddy Bears Parry Objects: Machete (if it turns pink) Bullets Teddy Bear Soldiers (if they are pink) Dancing Teddy Bears (if they are pink) Grenades Vladimir Vladinstein III is a fanmade boss in Cuphead. He is a Russian red squirrel and a soviet soldier who also happens to be a teddy bear maker when he inherited the Teddy Bear Machine from his father who inherited it from his father. He is also a licensed tank driver, has an irrational fear of ghosts (which explains the restraining order against Blind Specter and the rest of the Phantom Express) and hates rats and mice, especially Werner Werman (since he believed that Werner is still the Devil's partner in crime), and the Germans. Intro: As the battle commences, Vladimir brings out his machete and does a "come here" gesture, preparing to fight. Phase 1 & 2: "In Soviet, Russia, power of war brings me." - Vladimir Vladinstein III, Phase 1 Death Screen "You are niet match for awesome might of my machete!" - Vladimir Vladinstein III, Phase 2 Death Screen In this phase, Vladimir slices his machete to attack the player. He'll be slower in Simple, but he'll be quite fast in Regular and much faster in Expert. Sometimes, he even throw his machete at the player(s) if it starts to glow. If the machete glows pink, which means it can be parried. In the second phase, after taking enough damage, Vladimir pushes a button on the remote for any random canon that fires bullets and he continues wielding his machete. There are also pink bullets that can be parried. After taking enough damage, Vladimir glares at the player(s) and suddenly jumps into a hole to a bunker and a current suddenly opens, revealing the Teddy Bear Machine. This commences the third phase of the fight. Phase 3: "You will never hurt master. His father's father is reason why we're born." - Teddy Bears, Phase 3 Death Screen In this phase, the Teddy Bear Machine will attack the player(s) when it summons a mechanical mallet. It also summons Teddy Bear Soldiers and Dancing Teddy Bears to assist the machine. The Teddy Bear Soldiers will bring out their rifles to shoot the player. The Dancing Teddy Bears, the feminine ballerina counterparts of the Teddy Bear Soldiers, will attack by twirling around with ribbons to whip the player. If they are shot (or parried if they are pink), they will fall down into the ground as if they died. After taking enough hits, the Teddy Bear Machine explodes as the rest of the Teddy Bears fall down. Then, the machine and the Teddy Bears will be lowered down as a huge tank appears, controlled by a smug Vladimir, commencing the final phase. In Simple Mode, the Teddy Bear Machine will still explode while the other Teddy Bears dropped their weapons and put their paws in the air and a white flag will appear through the hole and wave around, indicating that Vladimir has immediately surrendered. Final phase: "Do svidaniya, you accomplices of German fiend!" - Vladimir Vladinstein III, Final Phase Death Screen In this phase, which only appears on Regular and Expert, Vladimir's tank will fire the same bullets from Phase 2. He can also fire deadly lasers from the tank and use his remote to summon falling grenades that can explode if they hit the ground. Only the pink ones can be parried. After dealing enough damage, Vladimir's tank will wear down as Vladimir will freak out and scream in both shock and agony as the battle ends. Fun fact: He is like the Russian squirrel equivalent of Werner Werman while his Teddy Bear Machine and the Teddy Bears are like Werner's Cat and the Rat Wraiths, though compared to Werner, he never made a deal with the Devil and he weilds a machete. Also, Vladimir's family and Werner's family has been in a long feud considering that they are common enemies, even during the war. Also, his outfit is based on Russia's (Hetalia), Flippy's (HTF) and KAITO's (VOCALOID). And as for the bullets, based on Bullet Bills from the Mario series. Name: Count Dracula Location: Inksylvania (the Inkwell Isle equivalent of Transylvania) Level: Friend or Foe? Gender: Male Role: Vampire, Demon Bat (Final Phase) Inspiration: Bram Stroker's Count Dracula, Donkey Kong (which explains why he throws barrels/boulders), Alucard (Van Helsing anime) and various vampires from other media Phases: 3 Forms: 2 Moveset: Barrel Roll Boulder Crush Blood Rain Blood Whip Blood Fire Summoning Bats Hyper Scream (Vampire Bats/Giant Bats) Summoning Rat Wraiths Crossbows (Rat Wraiths) Spin Dash Shrieking Fury Gone Batty Blood Bullets Blood Pillars Blood Blast Minions: Vampire Bats Rat Wraiths Giant Bats Parry Objects: Barrels Boulders Blood Rain Drops Sonic Waves Arrows Bullets Count Dracula is a fanmade boss in Cuphead based on the original Count Dracula. He is the lord of all vampires who can be fought on both land and air. Judging by the Rat Wraiths in Victorian attire around him, he is responsible for killing them. Intro: Dracula lands on his feet and glares at Cuphead and Mugman, making his eyes glow blood red, and smiles evilly as he did a "come at me" gesture. Just like in "One Hell of a Time", Cuphead and Mugman are terrified instead of getting prepared for battle. Phase 1: "You didn't join the Devil's demonic army, but you should've joined my undead one." - Count Dracula, Phase 1 Death Screen The first phase consists of his powers and minions. Being super strong, he can throw heavy objects to commence two projectile attacks: 1. Throwing six barrels that roll towards the players. One of the six can be parried. 2. Throwing four boulders that are sent flying towards the players. One of four can be parried. As a master of hemokinesis (blood manipulation), he can give out a blood aura and create one of three projectile attacks: 1. Creating blood rain which will rain down randomly across the area. Some of those tears can be parried. 2. Summoning a blood whip which can be used to whip at the players unless they dodge it. 3. Lighting a match, creating blood red flames and throwing it at the players. If the flames hit the floor, they will send shock waves of red fire that travel along the ground in both horizontal directions upon exploding. With a snap of his fingers, he also summons his minions for help, each with its own attack: Vampire Bats and Giant Bats: If the bats are summoned (consisting of four little ones and two bigger ones), they will let out a loud shriek, sending sonic waves towards the player. The bats can fly away upon shooting them. Rat Wraiths (Inksylvania): If four spectral rats (similar to the ones in from "Murine Corps", except more different and in Victorian attire) are summoned, they will fire crossbows and shoot the player with arrows. Some of the arrows can be parried. The spectral rats can be disabled by shooting at them. After performing some of these attacks, he will roll into a blood red ball and speed dash towards the player(s) to the other side of the arena. The player(s) must dash through his attack if they have the Smoke Bomb charm equipped. Even if the player(s) manage(s) to dodge his attacks and his charge, it is still possible to unknowingly bump into him and accidentally get damaged in the process. After taking enough hits, Dracula will pull a smoke bomb and throw it into the ground, escaping through a trapdoor in the left or right side of the arena. The players must follow him into the trapdoor or be damaged by falling rocks that fall down from above. Final phase: "There's no way you'll win this fight! My bark is worse than my bite!" - Hazel Wicked, Final Phase Death Screen After the player escapes through the hole, the final battle commences through the air (which the player has to fight in an airplane) as seen floating in midair when he suddenly transforms into a giant demonic bat that is twice his size as he lets out a maniacle laughter. In this phase, players have to shoot at him while dodging his attacks. He will attack every few seconds by screaming, which sends sonic waves across the screen that can damage the player(s). Just like in his first phase, he can summon bats and spectral rats to attack the player(s). He will also let out a loud shriek, which summons a stampede of vampire bats to charge across the screen at the player(s). After taking enough damage, he will become angry, let out a blood aura and use one of three more hemokinetic attacks: 1. He will then start flapping his wings furiously and firing constant radial bursts of eight blood bullets outwards. 2. He will shriek angrily and summon blood pillars that occasionally appear, moving in from the top or bottom of the screen, moving down or up respectively, eventually they will completely close off and leave the player no chance to escape. The mini-plane is very useful for this phase, as switching in and out of it can help dodge the attacks. 3. He will target Cuphead (or Mugman, before switching again to Cuphead) with his eyes and then fire a blood laser through his mouth. The laser will destroy any attacks that cross its path aside from the EX missile attack. Eventually, he will tire himself out and temporarily leave himself open to attack. After taking enough hits, Dracula gets bruised and will shudder and shake erratically, shrieking in pain and agony, defeating him for good. Fun fact: Out of everyone else in Inkwell Isle I-III and Inkwell Hell, Count Dracula despises Cuphead, Mugman, The Devil, King Dice and Werner Werman. His powers are useless in the sunlight (despite being immune like most vampires), he's allergic to garlic, he has super strength, super speed, super sonic screech, super hearing, super scent and night vision. Name: Hazel Wicked Location: Inkwell Isle III Level: Witch's Brawl Gender: Female Role: Witch Inspiration: Dr. Kahl and various iconic tv, cartoon, anime, video game and movie witches/warlocks/wizards/sorcerers Phases: 3 Forms: 1 Moveset: Energy balls (fire, water, electricity, ice, darkness and/or earth) Energy blasts (fire, water, electricity, ice, darkness and/or earth) Duplication Shooting stars Summoning Flying Kittens Summoning Fairies (of fire, water, electricity, ice, darkness and/or earth) Summoning Bats Energy bullet hell (fire, water, electricity, ice, darkness and/or earth) Energy storm (fire, water, electricity, ice, darkness and/or earth) Minions: Flying Kittens Fairies Bats Butterflies Parry Objects: Energy balls (if they are pink) Shooting stars Flying Kittens Fairies Bats Butterflies Energy bullets (if they are pink) Hazel Wicked is a fanmade boss in Cuphead. She is a powerful witch who fights in the air. She is known to own Flying Kittens (which are kitty cats in broomsticks) and Butteflies and has Fairies and Bats for assistants. Intro: As the battle commences on air, Hazel would arrive, flying on her broomstick and raising her wand, ready to fight. Phase 1: "Isn't it such a magical thing that you're broken?" - Hazel Wicked, Phase 1 Death Screen In this phase, Hazel has two main attacks that she performs with her wand: 1. She would summon energy balls (they would be parried if they are pink). 2. She would summon blasts of energy. The only elements she has other than magic are fire, water, electricity, ice, darkness and earth. If her wand turns red/orange, she would summon the powers of fire. If her wand turns aquamarine, she would summon the powers of water. If her wand turns yellow/lime green, she would summon the powers of electricity. If her wand turns blue, she would summon the powers of ice. If her wand turns purple, she would summon the powers of darkness. If her wand turns brownish-gray, she would summon the powers of earth (which her earth blasts petrify her opponents). After performing one of these two attacks, she will duplicate herself and shoot the player with shooting stars. The player(s) can parry these shooting stars and must shoot the clones. After taking enough damage, Hazel becomes angry and summons the Flying Kittens, Fairies, Bats and Butterflies to assist her in aerial combat, commencing the second phase of the fight. Phase 2: "It's a wickedly good thing I called for backup!" - Hazel Wicked, Phase 2 Death Screen In this phase, the Flying Kittens, Fairies, Bats and Butterflies will charge at the player(s) unless the player(s) must shoot them (or parry them if they are pink). The player(s) will also shoot Hazel while she was summoning more assistance. After taking enough hits, Hazel's broom will break and she looks down in shock and falls down. However, her magic hat will grow big enough to lift her. This will commence the final phase. In Simple Mode, her broom won't break after this phase, instead ending the battle with her slapping herself in frustration. Final phase: "I'd tip my hat to you, but I'm on air!" - Hazel Wicked, Final Phase Death Screen In this phase, which only appears on Regular and Expert, the players battle Hazel riding in her hat as she attacks with an energy bullet hell spell, which consists of the elements of fire, water, electricity, ice, darkness and earth. The bullets must be dodged (or parried if pink). She can also summon energy storms which are flaming comets, rain, thunder bolts, snow, darkness, shadow beams and falling boulders. They will damage the player if they hit. The projectiles fall randomly, so it's best to keep moving to avoid getting hit. After dealing enough damage, Hazel would become frozen with shock as her hair goes up. Fun fact: She is like the female magic equivalent of Dr. Kahl while her broom and her hat (when her broom is temporarily broken) is like his robots, just like the Flying Kittens, Fairies, Bats and Butterflies.
