Persian Elegance: Nuts Packaging Inspired by Tradition

This packaging project showcases a sophisticated and culturally rich design inspired by Persian art and architecture. With intricate patterns and a bold color palette dominated by deep greens and golds, the packaging exudes elegance and authenticity, reflecting the heritage of the product within.

The use of traditional Persian motifs, including geometric patterns and ornate arches, ties the design to its cultural roots, creating a sense of pride and connection. The packaging’s transparent window, shaped like an architectural arch, allows a glimpse of the nuts inside, blending functionality with aesthetics.

The color scheme plays a vital role in the design’s appeal. A few days ago, I shared snaps from a recent trip to Plymouth, where a visit to The Box sparked fresh inspiration and motivation. ✨ One part of the exhibit that stood out was the swimming hats designed around the folklore and culture of Cornwall and Devon. 🏊‍♀️

Inspired by this, I decided to create my own design, rooted in the heritage of my origin—the Peak District. 🌄 My concept features:

A millstone, symbolizing the region’s industrial past The White Nancy, an iconic Macclesfield landmark 🏔️ A flint, reflecting the natural elements of the area It’s been so refreshing to just create without overthinking or pressuring myself to post perfectly polished work. I want this page to reflect my authentic practice—the things I know, love, and draw inspiration from. I hope that’s coming through! 🌿

»Corporate Design / Life doesn’t frighten me« I Christin Schreiber & Verena Vogler, Tutors Filiz Dindin & Daniel Carrascal

A fictitious corporate design is to be created for a freely selectable museum exhibition. Verena and Christin chose the exhibition "Life doesn't frighten me. Michelle Elie wears Comme de Garcons" at the Museum Angewandte Kunst,  in which fashion by designer Rei Kawakubo is worn and displayed by Michelle Elie. Similar to Kawabuko's approach in her patterns, the focus in Christin and Verena's corporate design is on deconstruction and displacement – only applied to typography and graphics: letters are bulged out and permeated by graphic elements.
