maxverstappen1 I rarely address personal matters, but today I have to. What happened yesterday crossed every line. Following my girlfriend to medical appointments, hiding in bushes to take photos - this isn't journalism, it's harassment. The people involved will be dealt with legally.

YN has been my strength through everything. Watching her try to hide her happiness these past months because of invasive cameras has been infuriating. She missed races she wanted to attend, stayed away from celebrations, all to protect our privacy. She even missed our championship moment - something that crushed us both - because we were trying to keep this joy to ourselves for a little longer.

To everyone who mass reported those photos and defended our privacy - thank you.

2 times Oscar has to wake you up at inconvenient times, and 1 time he doesn't

Miami, 2024

It was extreamly hot. The blistering heat, and your dark Mercedes fireproof were a deadly combination as far as you were concerned. It wasn't even fp2 yet, and you felt the most drained you'd ever had in your life. Lewis wasn't fairing well on the other side of the garage either. Trudging inside, and basking in the blasts of air conditioning that came as soon as the doors opened, you meekly looked for your drivers room. As soon as you found it, and managed to get some ice on your forehead and neck, you simply slipped into sweet blissful darkness.

What seemed to be years later, you were shook and kissed awake. Glaring at the man who dared to steal precious sleep from you, you looked up at Oscar, who had some very nervous looking interns behind him. "Well good afternoon sleeping beauty," Oscar laughed out, clearly not sufficiently scared by your glare. "It's time for fp3, so wakey wakey, eggs and bakey alright?" Groaning, you rose from your makeshift bed-couch, bags of now water falling from your neck.

"Ok, ok, got the message, go back to your orange blasted hit alright?"

Stroking your bedhead, Oscar smiled, always so amused by your antics, "I do believe it is Papaya, but I'll see you tonight, Darling" and after one last kiss, he went back to his garage.

Austria, 2024

When Lando and Max took eachother out, giving you an easy win, you had mixed feelings. You'd never say no to a free win, but you'd also rather fight for it. Post race was quite a bore in your opinion. Answering questions about how you were lucky, and just knew how to take advantage of situations. You were just lucky that Oscar was up on the podium with you, letting you be comfortable despite all of the cameras. So comfortable, in fact, that the second you sat down in the cooldown room, recordings of Max and Lando's crash playing on the screen, exhaustion seemed to overcome you, as your head rolled to the side, and you fell asleep.

After what seemed like only a second, you startled awake, opening your eyes to an amused Carlos and Oscar, and tense crew, who as soon as they saw you were awake, began to usher the three of you to the podium. Oscar turned to you and pulled you into a side hug as you walked, "Figured you needed the nap, so I let you sleep as long as you could. Try to keep awake, yeah? Can't have you falling asleep on the podium now, can we?"

You may not have ended up falling asleep on the podium, but you were certainly close. The warm sunlight and heavy exhaustion on your body made it tempting to drop it all for a nap. You'd like to think you hid it well, but a few yawns did slip through, the internet won't let you forget that.

Winter break, 2024-25

The two of your's winter break didn't consist of too much, at least by the standards of the other drivers. Some drivers were off on tropical islands, watching fashion shows, or just being whores on the internet. You and Oscar, however, generally took a tamer approach. Half of your break was spent down under, relaxing on beaches and spending time with family, and you of course. The two of you spent many nights at restaurants or on walks. But the second half of winter break, featured you and Oscar lounging around his Monaco apartment, cuddling, and snacking, and maybe some other stuff. But some nights, you actually had some plans. Or Oscar had plans. And he included you in those plans. Unwillingly, might I add. All you wanted, was to sleep, and cuddle the night away, but no, Oscar set up dinner with Lando. Now, you had nothing against Lando, nothing except that he was taking you away from precious, precious sleep. So, alas, you protested in the best way you could. By trying to sleep through the dinner.

When you awoke, the first thing you saw was the bring rays of the setting sun, putting the time at about, 7. The first thing you thought was that you must have been successful, you slept through dinner, you could continue to be an introvert. And the first thing you felt, was a warm body, curled into your chest, that your arms had unconsciously wrapped around. Looking down, snuggled into your chest, was a sleepy, extreamly koala like, Oscar. Next to him was his phone, still on, open on Lando's text where Oscar seems to have canceled last minute just to sleep in with you.

🎠 - what's their idea of a "perfect day" spent with their kiddo?

Octavian's perfect day with his kiddo is pretty relaxed. He'd love to have a picnic when the sun has already set, and then just watch nature while talking about what ever you can think of. He likes stuff like that.

Vincent's perfect day is to take the day off and go on a fun shopping trip! He loves eating at nice restaurants, getting you anything you lay your eyes on, and intimidating anyone who looks at you.

🥣 - do they have any dietary restrictions for their kiddo?

Since you're a vampire, Octavian allows you to eat most things since you no longer have the risk of your heart health and such, but he still prefers you to keep a more balanced diet, just because he likes cooking meals he loved as a human, when caring about that stuff was more necessary.

Vincent does, but its nothing he's super strict about, and if you really wanted to, you could talk him into allowing something he originally said no to. His general rule is you must eat all your veggies if you want dessert though.

💤 - do they give their kiddo a bedtime routine? What does it look like?

Bedtime is one of the few things Octavian is extra strict about. Dinnertime, bathtime, an hour to wind down, then bed. Usually during bedtime, Octavian likes reading to you, even singing if you ask.

Meanwhile, Vincent is the least strict about bedtime. He still cares, but he's willing to make many exceptions, and rarely is he ever scolding you to go to bed. The routine usually consists of what Octavian's does, but he likes finishing up emails and such for the night until you fall asleep. He knows it bores you, and it works well each time.

⚖️ - how strict are they when it comes to rules? Do they have any punishments for breaking them?

Octavian is very gentle with everything, even when he is strict about things. He's very good at explaining why he has rules, why he makes certain decisions, and so on and so forth. In most cases, he wouldn't fully punish you, but rather give a firm talk, while never raising his voice.

Vincent isn't as patient sometimes, but he is willing to express remorse if he yells after you break a rule. He doesn't yell because he's angry, just out of fear, since he believes he has rules all for a good reason. He says he'd like an apology from you for disobeying him, gives you a more calm talk when he's calmer, and then it always ends with cuddles <3

📱 - do they allow their kiddo any electronics or internet access?

Octavian's world was intended to be set in a time where those things didn't exist, but in the scenario they do,,, I think he'd eventually allow it. But since he's very old, he'd be wary of the devices for a while. He'd also totally be the parent that squints at the phone and types extremely slowly.

Vincent does both, but only after he's sure he can trust you with them, and even then, its very much monitored and primarily meant for emergency scenarios. When he's home and you're spending time together, he'll get huffy if he sees you on your phone for more than a few minutes at a time.

🧸 - do they infantilize their kiddo, or treat them any specific age?

With Octavian, it really depends on his kiddo. By default, he does, treating them closer to a child below the age of 13, but if his kiddo expresses they don't like it, he'll try really hard to treat them older. No, he doesn't really accomplish that by much, but he makes an effort and you can see that.

Vincent usually treats you like a young child. He just really likes spoiling you with both words, gifts, actions, and general affection. His mind can't grasp why you possibly wouldn't want that.

💌 - what is their love language?

Octavian's love language is words of affirmation and quality time! All of them value spending time with you, but to Octavian it's a must. He'd love to spend time with you doing anything, as long as you're happy then he's happy.

Vincent's love language is physical touch and gift giving. He loves hugs, cuddles, ruffling your hair, kissing your forehead, the list goes on and on. Gift giving is more easy to understand. He'd give you the whole world if you asked him to!

🔎 - is there any reason they are the way they are?

Octavian is like that primarily because of losing his family all those years ago. Even without that incident, however, he still would have taken you in without hesitation, he'd just be less overbearing and paranoid ^^;

Vincent grew up pretty badly, but I do feel like he would've been this way even without all the horrible things he went through. The thing that had the most affect on him was knowing how emotionally distant his parents were, fueling him to be the complete opposite for you.....for the better and worse.

🔒 - how do they react to their kiddo wanting more independency? How much are they willing to give them?

Octavian is very apologetic when you ask for it, because the answer is the same each time. He acts sorry and remorseful when he tells you he just can't allow that, but he's still very firm on that decision. He'll never budge.

Vincent acts like its a joke each time. Why would you ever want more of that?? You have everything you need here and more! If you really push on it, the most he'll do is allow you to go somewhere with at least 2 bodyguards, a sniper looking out for any extra threats, a tracker on you, and a mandatory fully-charged phone on you. What do you mean that's not giving you independency? He thinks its plenty!

Tom is moderately affectionate, he’ll hold your hand in public and will hold you behind closed doors. He doesn’t like PDA in general because he thinks it should only be seen between the both of you.

B = Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?)

Tom would like a best friend who’s chill, someone who he can be himself around whether it be a day he’s just not in the mood for anything or he’s just as enthusiastic as the others. The friendship would start with Tom meeting you through the internet on a music blog, eventually talking almost every day to the point you flew to see him.

C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)

Tom likes cuddles! He’s more laid-back when it comes to them, for example, he’ll just sit next to you and have you rest your head on his shoulder and just expect you not to question it. Tom almost always has you in his arms, but once in a while on a bad day, if you really ask him, you’ll be able to hold him in return.

Tom actually doesn’t mind at all the idea of settling down with you, before he met you the idea of getting married and living a domestic life didn’t appeal to him whatsoever. His cooking is alright, nothing special (he can make full meals though) but he might need some help to be on top of cleaning.

He would send a text saying ‘It’s over.’ with no other context, and block your number. Expect him to be at the bar more often afterwards as well as drunken phone calls.

Tom’s already committed enough to have asked you to marry him, but he’s in no rush to get married. Not in an ‘oh in case I don’t want this’ kind of way but in an ‘I wanna savor every moment of our marriage journey’ kind of way.

G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)

Tom is surprisingly very gentle. He almost always takes your emotions into consideration and never forces you to do anything you don’t want to. If you don’t want to go on a roller coaster with the rest of the group? That’s cool, he’ll wait with you the entire time and get you a candy floss in the meantime. Are you feeling upset that day because of something that happened at work? That’s lame, he’ll verbally assault your boss with you as you lay your head in his lap. 

H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)

Tom’s ok with hugs, he’ll absolutely take them if you offer one but he rarely hugs you by his own accord. He prefers relaxed cuddles, one of his arms wrapping around you while he reads a book in the other. If he does hug you? His hugs are very long, you know something is the matter whenever he hugs you as he only does the warm act when he’s upset or glad to see you. 

I = I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?)

He actually said ‘I love you’ before you had even started dating, in a drunken haze, you both decided to go to the local park late at night after a bar trip. Laughing and joking about your lives, passing each other a bottle as you sat on an open field when all of a sudden Tom blurts out ‘I love you.’ Of course, he told you he was just drunk and said something stupid if you brought it up. Into your relationship, however? He drops the L-bomb once in a while.

J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)

I don’t see Tom getting jealous very often, of course, he has his moments when he sees others staring at you for an inappropriate amount of time but all he does is glare at the person and they’ll be on their way. If they don’t stop staring, he’ll excuse himself from you and approach them himself, telling them off. He also can’t help but be jealous whenever Tord interacts with you, especially if he decides to flirt with you. Tom will pull you away from him and pull you into his room where he can cool down with you in his arms. 

K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)

His kisses are long but sweet, almost like he never wants to separate from you. His favorite places to kiss you are your lips and your neck, pressing loving trails along the sensitive skin, making you shudder which in turn makes him want to kiss you more. He likes to be kissed on the lips, you standing on your toes just to kiss him (even though he’s the shortest of his friends), he can’t help but chuckle at your prolonged effort. 

L = Little ones (How are they around children?)

Out of the four, he’s the best with children. He doesn’t get bothered by the screaming and crying whenever you two go out in public so he automatically wins. He can also go along with whatever they say, supporting them in the “adventures” that they tell him about. “Oh yeah, you saw a fairy? Cool kid, let’s go find it.” He doesn’t really care if you both have kids or not, if you want some? Cool. If you don’t? Cool. 

M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?)

Tom is NOT a morning person, so mornings are usually spent in his or your bed. His arms lazily wrapped around you as he softly mumbles in his sleep. You can never tell what he’s saying but the soft ineligible words are soothing and you now can’t fall asleep without them. When he finally wakes up, your morning is kind of like a married couple’s morning where you both get ready together while talking about whatever drifts into your minds. 

N = Night (How are nights spent with them?)

Nights are much different than mornings as Tom contradicts his mornings by being a night owl. They’re super chill as you both can talk for hours as Tom practices a few chords on Susan or you both watch TV while cuddling on the couch. Tom could talk to you for hours, about what? He doesn’t care, especially when you ramble because he can look at you passionately as you talk about something you enjoy/are interested in. 

O = Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)

Tom doesn’t reveal anything right away, it takes him time to start being open with you and even then it’s very limited during your friendship. He’s very slow with being open but eventually, he’ll start revealing things deep into your romantic relationship, stuff like what happened with his parents and the alcohol intake.  

P = Patience (How easily angered are they?)

Besides with Tord, he’s an incredibly patient person. He’s so used to his friends being crazy and idiots that nothing really bothers him anymore. He rarely gets angry around or with you, except when someone is actively bothering you where he gets more frustrated and annoyed than anything. 

Q = Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?)

He remembers the basic stuff about you like your likes and dislikes, but especially your taste in music. He even makes playlists for you based on your favorites and will listen to them on his own time. BEWARE IF YOU GIVE THIS MAN YOUR SPOTIFY! He saves all your saved playlists to his own and will tease you with them as he plays them outloud in his room. 

R = Remember (What is their favorite moment in your relationship?)

His favorite moment in your relationship was definitely the first time the both of you kissed, he had taken you to an underground concert where one of your favorite indie bands was playing and you two spent the entire night hand in hand while they played up on stage. Eventually, the show ended and you two sat on a bench outside the building and eventually kissed, your arms wrapped around each other as the night air filled with the chirp of crickets and faint sounds of cars rolling by. 

S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)

Tom can be protective when someone is making you uncomfortable, but all he does is pull you away from the situation or tell them off himself in a private setting so you won’t be embarrassed. He’s also protective sometimes around Tord, but will lay off if he leaves the both of you alone. He would think it’s not necessary to protect him as he wouldn’t ever look at somebody else but he can’t help but smile and chuckle if you protect him. 

T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)

He puts in average effort, of course, he makes sure to take you out to do things you like and gets you small things here and there that remind him of you (your apartment is full of little trinkets he’s bought you here and there). On anniversaries, he begrudgingly gets help from the others to make sure he gets everything right. With everyday tasks, he tries to at least help you as much as he can.

U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?)

Tom’s sometimes too sarcastic for his own good. He has his moments where he can be just as ridiculous as the other three but he’s often off to the side, making sarcastic witty remarks, and sometimes goes too far with you. He doesn’t realize he’s insulting you until he hears from his friends how upset you are in the other room. 

V = Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?)

He’s not too concerned, he knows what he likes with his checkered shit. He also uses stuff like hair gel and cologne from time to time but mainly cleans up on dates, although he always has a bit of stubble on his chin. 

W = Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?)

No, he loves you, of course, but Tom doesn’t feel incomplete without you. He doesn’t view it as healthy to rely on you to complete him. When you're married, however, he couldn't imagine life without you. 

X = Xtra (A random headcanon for them.)

A while into your relationship, he’ll let you touch Susan and practice a few chords on her. That’s his sign of total trust and commitment to you. 

Y = Yuck (What are some things they wouldn’t like, either in general or in a partner?)

Tom would not like someone who is downright mean and hateful, especially to his friends. He may not act like it, but Tom truly has a big heart. His friends mean the world to him and to see someone who doesn’t respect him throws him off immediately. 

Z = Zzz (What is a sleep habits of theirs?)

Like I said, Tom is a night owl. He stays up mostly all night whether it be practicing on Susan, watching TV and drinking, or just talking with either his friends or you. When it comes time to sleep, he wraps his arms around you and lays your head on his chest. Sure, he doesn’t need you to fall asleep but you being there makes it a hell-of-a lot easier.

Vacation w/ LE SSERAFIM

Vacations are nice. But a vacation with your lover is even better.

Chaewon

Honestly you guys just needed a weekend away from the city and the constant rush of everything. And after such an iconic comeback, you decide to surprise her with another weekend off. This time without cameras too. Just you two, away in the countryside for a weekend of pure relaxation.

You’ve been stressed too, so it was really just what the both of you guys needed. You decide to take her out to a little cabin in the woods. That has internet connection and really everything you two need to for a weekend.

It was the perfect vacation. You guys were able to explore the woods through the trails in the daytime and at night you guys cuddled next to the fireplace. You two really just needed a weekend away from the rush of your day to day lives, which have been jam-packed as of recently.

Sakura

After a long and stressful week, a nice little vacation was exactly what you two needed. However, since you guys spend so much time actively doing things, you both decided to have a lazy weekend inside instead. A break from the usual rush of the days was very needed for you guys.

It was honestly, the most relaxing ‘vacation’ you guys had been on. You weren’t about agendas or the next ‘big’ thing or finding the perfect place. It was just a weekend, together. You cooked together, caught up on some dramas together, and were just together for the weekend.

Of course you guys did go out, since the weather was nice. You guys went to your favorite shopping mall and looked around a little too. At the shopping mall, you guys ended up at the cozy bookstore, which was a nice quiet place. It was no wonder that by time you guys got home, it had felt like a million pounds had been lifted off your shoulders. You guys opted to cook dinner together that night.

Yunjin

You guys basically sleep all day and party all night. Not necessarily parties, but you guys are definitely the type to enjoy a city’s nightlife. It’s not even the drinking part of it that you guys enjoy. It’s more just the energy of the night.

It’s mysterious, and it feels anything could happen. It’s electric and you guys are lightning rods for it. You would definitely go dancing somewhere — a club, a party, anywhere. However, if you guys are feeling extra spontaneous one night, you may even wind up performing at a karaoke bar.

But you guys have to stop laughing long enough for it to actually happen. It’s honestly a good thing, you guys don’t exactly need everyone to find out who you guys are. Either way, it’s not about how good you guys sounded it’s about how good you guys felt that night.

Kazuha

Kazuha and you have been working hard. A lot harder than usual. So much so, that you guys barely are able to see each other anymore. The solution, obviously was to go on vacation together. As soon as you guys both have a break at the same time from your busy schedules (which does mean cancelling things on both ends) you guys decide to go on vacation!

After so long of not being in each other’s arms, to say it was a relief to finally hold each other again is an understatement. Kazuha would’ve been perfectly content with just spending those few days together, but you wanted to go a little farther. You end up booking a spontaneous trip to Japan to visit her family!

It seemed like as good an idea as any. And both Kazuha and her family are glad you did. They were able to properly congratulate Kazuha on her comeback and your success as well. You have a great time, laughing and sharing stories with her family. You even manage to convince them to go to some touristy places. However, all too soon, you and Kazuha have to fly back to Korea, to say the least, you’re both looking forward to the next vacation.

Eunchae

Anywhere and anything can be a vacation with Eunchae. She’s just that fun to be around. And whenever you’re around her it’s like all your problems just melt away. You decide to take her out to the beach, for a weekend of sun and sea. Just you two and the Pacific Ocean. No worries in paradise after all.

You guys end up having the time of your life, even sorta? figuring out how to surf. But mainly just splashing each other with the ocean water. You guys fool around and just have fun on the beach! Even making sandcastles and mini versions of each other. There was even a vendor selling fresh juice, so you guys didn’t have to leave for a while!

The best part of the whole trip though, was getting tickets to a boat trip. On the trip, you guys were able to see dolphins and sharks and turtles. Even better though, you guys got to see the sunset together and watch as it painted the ocean the most beautiful shades of pink and orange.

A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?) 

Ryohei is extremely affectionate once he gets comfortable enough around you that he isn’t shy or afraid to do certain things. He would most likely show affection by actions rather than words, like doing random chores for you or something as simple as cooking dinner that night instead of ordering take out of some sort, he would also show it by constantly hanging around you, but not in a annoying way. He would either always be holding your hand or touching you in some sort of way just to show silently that he’s still there for you and always will be.

B = Best Friend (what would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?) A friendship with Ryohei would more than likely start from either you two meeting at an internet cafe of sorts to play video games or meeting over a game in a store, knowing Ryohei, he would probably start out pretty shy around you in the beginning of the friendship but he would soon break out of his shell and become more comfortable around you. Ryohei as a best friend would be amazing, sleepovers while gaming and eating pizza, him randomly showing up at your house because he needs to get away from his father and brother, and he would be so supportive of whatever you do or want to do. A 10/10 friend for sure. 

C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)

Ryohei absolutely loves to cuddle, and all of the time. He doesn’t mind if he’s the little or big spoon, he just enjoys being close to you and feeling genuinely relaxed and good that you are there with him at that moment, especially at his most vulnerable times. He particularly likes spooning or any way that he can have his arms wrapped around you or vice versa because he cherishes every moment when he’s being held or holding you. Ryohei also wants to cuddle almost all the time when the two of you are alone, wanting to be close with you at all times because once he’s caught on, he’s never letting go. 

D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)

Ryohei would love to settle down with you, and he actually thinks about it a lot surprisingly. He is good at cleaning, when you tell him to do it at least because he’s a little lazy, cooking…is a different story, he can cook ramen, eggs, premade oven foods, but that’s about it. Now, if he had a recipe in front of him and all of the materials he probably could make whatever that is, maybe, it all really depends on how difficult the food is or he won’t do it. That being said, he does love cooking with you, it’s much more fun and he enjoys any time that he spends with you. 

E = Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?) 

No matter what, Ryohei would feel utterly terrible for wanting to break up with you and actually doing it. That being said, he would try and do it in the least painful way possible especially if you were still in love with him and he wasn’t with you. Most likely Ryohei would write a note out and give it to you indirectly either through a friend or just slipping it under your door and quickly leaving before you realize it was him because he can’t face you when he’s going to break your heart, and he won’t ever hurt you, even if it hurts more without seeing him face to face doing it. 

F = Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?) Ryohei feels very strongly about commitment, and he would totally want to get married to you and move in together, but he will go the same pace as you, never wanting to pressure you into doing something you don’t want to do and won’t voice his feelings of wanting to marry you until you say something first. He would want to get married pretty fast once he knows that you want to as well, probably after 2 years of being with you or so, so that he knows you two really genuinely love each other. 

G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?) 

Ryohei is the most gentle boyfriend you could ever ask for, both physically and emotionally, which is uncommon for most. Physically, he couldn’t hurt a fly anyways, so he would be extra gentle and careful with you just in case something does happen and he accidentally hurts you, which he would feel completely terrible if he did so. Emotionally he’s even more gentle, this mostly being because he knows how it feels to be hurt over and over again, and he never wants that to happen to you, so he always chooses his words very carefully when talking about a sensitive topic or literally anything, never wanting to hurt you in any way even unknowingly since he was so accustomed to it at home. 

H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)

Ryohei literally adores hugs, he loves them so much but he will never verbally ask for it, he’s the type to just hold out his arms to you and you have to assume he wants a hug because he won’t actually say that he wants one. He will hug you at literally any time he wants, whether it’s a back hug whilst your cooking, or literally hugging you while sleeping, he always wants to hug you it’s so cute. Ryohei’s hugs are like a rush of warmth that just makes you feel all nice and fuzzy on the inside with how you can really tell that he loves you just by how he hugs, and he tends to stay in that position for quite some time, just simply enjoying the warmth you give. 

I = I Love You (How fast do they say the L-word?)

Ryohei probably says it quite fast into the relationship, like around 6 or so months because no one has ever treated him like you do before and he knows pretty quickly that he loves you. He most likely accidentally blurts it out while you’re talking and he has to hope that you say it back so that he doesn’t look stupid and get embarrased. 

J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when their jealous?)

Ryohei doesn’t really get jealous because he knows you would never leave him for anything, but of course, there are moments when he does. He won’t do anything in the moment if someone is flirting with you, but he will express his discomfort the next time you two are alone and he sounds a little bit sad but just reassure him a little bit and it will all be better and work pretty fast. He never wants to initiate fights of course, so there will be times where he won’t even tell you that he’s jealous but it’s obvious by his actions and expressions so you have to still reassure him that you won’t leave him for anyone or anything, and give him lots of cuddles he needs it. 

K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?) Ryohei’s kisses are often short and sweet, but with many emotions lurking deep inside of them every time he kisses you, even if it’s just a peck before going somewhere. His lips may be chapped from time to time, but they are somehow still soft and every kiss makes you feel like you’re floating on a cloud. Ryohei likes to kiss you on your head or hand, especially at the most random times. He’ll be holding your hand and randomly pull it up to his lips and kiss either the inside of your wrist or just your hand in general. He likes to be kissed anywhere, he doesn’t care when or where you kiss him, he’s going to cherish and enjoy every kiss he has with you no matter what, that being said, he does particularly enjoy getting kissed on the cheek, it makes him easily blush and stutter out responses but he loves it for how innocent it is and how much of an effect it has on him. 

L = Little Ones (How are they around children, how do they feel about having kids, etc)

Ryohei is extremely good with kids, he is always playing around with them and making them laugh but would never think once about having kids with you, not in the bad way though! He just never thought anyone would actually want to have kids with him so he’d never thought of it before, but he would love to! While he would be worried that he would end up like his father if you guys had two or more, all he needs is a little reassurement and then he’ll be okay and believe that he will be better than his fucked up father. 

M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?)

Mornings with Ryohei are usually spent laying in bed for much longer than supposed to be with how he simply won’t let go of you whatsoever, the epitome of “just five more minutes” but that tends to change into hours if you don’t pry yourself out of his grip. He has a hard time getting up early much more with him constantly being up all night playing video games, but if you get up earlier than him and start cooking then he’ll wake up shortly after because he can smell the food and will make coffee (or drink a redbull) while watching you cook breakfast. Ryohei is pretty groggy in the mornings and it takes some time for him to actually wake up and get moving around and start to do the normal things. 

N = Night (How are nights spent with them?) 

Nights with Ryohei are mostly spent with the two of you playing video games all night, or you watching him play video games all night. That, or watching movies so late into the night that you two end up passing out on the couch or in bed while movies are still playing and wake up to some random thing still on. Ryohei stays up late pretty much every night, which is why he has such a hard time getting up in the mornings, but he just loves you and wants to constantly be around you.

O = Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)

It would probably take some time for Ryohei to fully open up to you, unless you two were friends before getting together. After a few months he would slowly start opening up about certain things like his trauma and terrible family, but when he does it feels like such a weight has been lifted off of his shoulders because he knows he can trust you and that you care about him, he just needs some time to realize that you completely understand and don’t think of him differently with his trauma and more. He would probably spill everything at once most likely while eating dinner at home just so that he can go to sleep resting easy knowing he isn’t hiding anything from you anymore, because it can be extremely difficult to open up about trauma that you’ve experienced and never really told anyone since most people would judge. 

P = Patience (How easily angered are they?)

It is extremely hard for Ryohei to get angry, like, genuinely angry to the point where he will actually yell or give the silent treatment. He has a lot of patience and is the most understanding boyfriend he could possibly be, but of course, he does have moments when he gets angry and will actually say something about it, but it is very rare for him to do so. Though, it is easy to calm him down whether it’s getting him food or you just being by his side, but, if an argument happens between the two of you then it will either be harder for him to get better or easier, it really depends on how serious the argument is and if it will affect you both later. 

Q = Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?) 

Ryohei has an amazing memory, and therefore he will remember pretty much everything you tell him, even the weirdest things that you say which surprise you that he somehow remembers those moments. He is the type to write down things that you say you like or enjoy so that he can get you those things at random times when he has money or for gifts or even just simple date ideas like going on a picnic or something of the sorts. He most likely has a whole book dedicated to the things he’s written down that you like or literally things you just say to him at both the worst and best moments. 

R = Remember (What is their favorite moment in your relationship?) 

Ryohei’s favorite moment with you is most likely the day he met you, because it was when his world was turned completely upside down and he wouldn’t expect to be where he is today without you and his amazing friends who have stuck with him through thick and thin. But really, every moment he spends with you is his favorite moment, he just loves you so fucking much that there isn’t a single second that he doesn’t enjoy being with you. 

S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?) Ryohei is very, very protective of you, like, more than what you would expect with him. He protects you in various ways, whether that be standing up for you when someone insults you or is trying to flirt with you right in front of him even if it results in getting his ass beat up terribly, to making sure you don’t do things that could possibly be detrimental to your health in any sort of way, physical, mental, or emotionally. Ryohei does like to be protected by you at times, but usually he is too shy to be verbal with it and it mostly results in you having to stand up for him in some sort of situation that he’s uncomfortable in and he feels very grateful and thankful for you always afterwards. 

T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, and everyday tasks?) Ryohei puts his all into everything with you, dates, gifts, chores, literally everything you could possibly think of. He isn’t playing around with you, anything you ask him to do he will immediately drop whatever it is that he is currently doing and go do what it is you asked him of, and will do it thoroughly so it makes you happy, he doesn’t half-ass things when it comes to you at all. Anniversaries he plans extremely well surprisingly and always wants to do things special and different on those special days. 

U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?) 

Let’s be honest, he probably doesn’t wash his hair as often as he should be. Oh, and he uses 3-in-1 shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. 

V = Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?) 

Ryohei didn’t give two shits about his looks before he met you to be honest, but, after he did meet you, he did start to care about how he looked and started to clean himself up more and actually put some effort into his outfits, hair, etc. 

W = Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?)

Oh most definitely. It seems every time he gets close to someone they end up either fucking him over or dying, so if you were to leave him in any sort of way he would be so heartbroken that he would become severely depressed and resort back to his old lifestyle. Ryohei obviously has attachement issues with how many people he’s seen die and turn on each other in the games, so he would freak out and it probably wouldn’t end well. 

X = Xtra (A random headcannon for them)

Ryohei’s love languages are words of affirmation and quality time (also physical touch)

Ryohei moves a lot in his sleep, he can’t seem to stay still. He also tends to have nightmares even well after everything has gone down, some are worse than others which result in him sleeping less than normal.

the one where there’s a reminder

Everybody knows the media isn’t the most positive place. But Christina knows that all too well. 

Christina and Harry have been together for seven years, and while all seven of those years were heaven within the relationship, outside of it was hell. 

Out of all the people Harry has been with, Christina gets the most internet slaughter and hate. Neither of them really understand why, but Harry’s solution to the problem was always to ignore them because, “if they have nothing better to do than gossip about an incredible woman they don’t even know they aren’t worth your time”

Christina believes him of course, but sometimes she accidentally stumbles across some hateful words, opens a thread, and then she’s sucked into a rabbit hole of them. Other times, she can’t stop herself from venturing on to her social media platforms and seeing what people are saying about her.

This is one of the latter.

After she put Darcy to sleep, she sat down on the couch and went to town, finding every nasty tweet, post, and thread that she could find.

She’s fighting back tears as she reads every last word, down to the punctuation and grammar mistakes and wonders what she’s doing so wrong that everyone hates her. 

She keeps reading and reading and her heart is breaking and breaking and she can feel a headache coming on but yet she still doesn’t stop. 

It’s not until she hears heavy footsteps coming down the stairs that she even has a thought of putting her phone away. 

She can hear the footsteps getting closer to the bottom and she tries her best to wipe her tears before her husband sees her having a breakdown over some comments that were probably written by ten-year olds.

Harry was just up in their shared room watching television and relaxing when he missed his wife and wanted to give her a kiss. He’s always excited to talk to or see her even though they live in the same house, sleep in the same bed, and see each other all the time. He always wants to be around her, he can’t stand when she’s not there. He gets so pouty and down when he’s on tour and he just wants a cuddle. 

Christina always makes fun of him for being so extremely homesick, but she can’t deny that she misses him terribly when he’s gone too. 

Harry starts whistling a happy tune in glee because he still can’t believe his life is this perfect, but he abruptly stops when he hears a sniffle. 

His trots down the stairs slow and he starts to walk more cautiously down the stairs. They’ve been down this road before, Harry always wants to comfort his wife, but she doesn’t like showing that she’s in pain, whenever Harry even tries to catch her crying or down, she just plasters on a fake smile and gives him a bullshit excuse. He hates it, but he knows he can’t force anything out of her and Christina is safe knowing he won’t try to. 

Christina is still wiping her tears and she doesn’t even notice that the heavy steps have stopped, she’s just focused on putting on a good face for her husband. 

“Baby?” 

Christina practically jumps out of her skin when she hears his voice. She’s hoping he can’t see her swollen lips, wet skin, and that her puffy eyes and that he’ll just cuddle her to sleep and call it a night. 

She sniffles a little softer than before and prays he doesn’t hear it, “uh...hi H. Why aren’t you sleeping yet? It’s pretty late.” She internally curses her voice for trembling a bit and turns around a little more to smile at him. 

Harry usually tries to demand that he tell her what’s going on, but that never works because he’s a little scared of upsetting her and their volumes when they speak have always been inside voices unless they were in the bedroom. So he tries a different approach. 

He walks slowly over to her where she’s sitting on the couch and leans down to rest his head on her shoulder. He sighs at her intoxicating scent and warming aura and pecks her on the cheek. “Why aren’t you sleeping yet, my love?” 

She shrugs lightly and tries to lean more into Harry, god knows she needs to comfort (even if she won’t say it).

“Just put Darcy to sleep, she was a little more stubborn than normal today.” she mumbles. At least she’s not really lying. She did just put Darcy to sleep, but that’s obviously not all she did. 

At this, Harry pulls his head back, trying to get eye contact with her and he frowns, “I could’ve done that.” 

“It’s fine, I thought you were asleep anyways.” 

Harry nods and believes her at first, but then he thinks back to the sniffle and how she was trying to discreetly wipe away tears when he walked down and he frowns even more. 

Christina notices and her lips dip down at the corners too, wondering what’s got him upset. 

“If you just put Darcy to sleep....why’re you out here sitting on the couch?” Harry mumbles, trying his best not to sound too accusing. Christina is taken aback though. Harry always believes whatever lies about how she’s feeling that she tells him, she lets her emotions out through something else, and everythings good again. But this time she has a feeling that routine isn’t gonna fly.

She stutters out a rushed lie and that's when Harry’s heart breaks, “jesus, baby. You have to talk to me. Tell me what’s going on?” he says, his voice raising in volume and sternness in the slightest so she knows he’s not playing around this time. 

Christina doesn’t know how to say it, so she decides she’ll just show him, she pulls out her phone, unlocks it, puts it right in Harry’s line of vision. 

She can see his irises moving rapidly around the page opened on her small phone screen and she’s biting her nails, overcome with nerves. 

She knows it’s stupid, but she can’t help but think that maybe Harry is reading those words and agreeing with his fans. Agreeing that she’s a slut, a bitch, and someone who doesn’t deserve Harry. They are his fans after all, wouldn’t he agree?

Tears fall from her eyes at her thoughts and Harry is so engrossed in these disgusting messages that he isn’t even realizing them. 

With every word he reads, the urge to vomit grows stronger. He can’t believe that his fans, the people that claim to love and adore him so much , would talk so disgustingly about a person he loves and adores so much. 

In times like these, he’s exceptionally grateful for all the fans of his that respect his life, privacy, and relationship. 

He imagines Christina reading these messages with tears in her eyes and doubt in her heart and he feels his own heart crack even more. He’s trying to fight back some of his own crying and finally tears his eyes off the screen. 

“Why are you loo--” he stops when he sees Christina with tears streaming down her face and a pouty trembling lip. 

“C’mere.” Is all he says before Christina is tossing herself into his arms and sobbing into his chest. 

“None of those things are true, alright? Those people are fuckin’ assholes.” 

Christina wants to believe him, but she can’t shake the feeling that he’s lying to her face. She knows insecurity is something she’s struggled with for a while. She hates it but she can’t really stop it. 

Her friends tell her that she’s dating the Harry Styles and has nothing to feel insecure about, but the fact that she’s dating Harry sometimes makes it worse. 

The alleged cure is the cause. 

Harry tries to tell her everyday that he loves her, that she’s perfect and all he wants, but Christina’s mind makes her believe otherwise. Harry knows that she can’t help the fact that her brain is lying to her, but he can’t help feeling his heart break when he sees her crying and down because of it. 

“You know what?” Harry says all of a sudden and stands up abruptly at the same time. He grabs her arm from around her torso and pulls her up from the couch. Christina has no idea what’s going on, but she just goes along with it because she knows once Harry has something in mind (especially a solution to a problem) he’s not going to let it go. 

Harry’s in between fuming and being heartbroken for his girl. He’s stomping up the stairs into their bedroom and Christina is aimlessly following him with no fucking clue what’s going on. 

Once they get into the bedroom, Harry pulls her once more but this time he pulls her down on the edge of the bed in a sitting position. He has a stern, concentrated look on his face. His eyebrows are pulled harshly together and his thumb and pointer finger are picking at his bottom lip that’s set in a pout. 

Christina just stares at him with her eyebrows raised up to her hairline and her mind swimming with confusion and a little bit of amusement at how her husband is behaving. 

Harry is pacing back and forth in short quick steps before he stops right in front of her. He looks down at her and tilts his head to the side while pursing his lips almost as if he’s negotiating with himself about something in his head. 

He hums and then speaks “I think I have to remind you just how perfect you are. Just how wrong those people are.” 

Christina’s eyebrows pull down her face in confusion and Harry smiles slightly. 

“I wanna show you,” he pauses and leans down to kiss her lips slowly and passionately, “just how fucking perfect you are. Will you let me?” 

Harry hands move from his side to Christina’s full thighs and starts to knead them sensually until he lets his hands inch higher. Christina sucks in a breath and Harry smirks before he speaks. “Please let me show you, baby”

Christina nods, at all loss for words and before Harry can reprimand her she corrects herself and gives him verbal consent. 

He lowers himself down until he’s on his knees, watching her the whole time and Christina’s breath hitches at the sight. 

“Only woman who can get me on my knees like this. S’only for you, babe.” he whispers while using his large hands that are still set on her thighs and slowly spreading them apart. 

He leans his head a little further, still managing eye contact, and starts to leave wet, slow open-mouthed kisses up and down her thighs. He smirks when he feels a warming heat start up near her core and Christina is desperately trying to hold in her gasps. 

Harry reaches his hand up to pull down her small shorts, and then her underwear follows. Christina suddenly feels exposed and tries to shut her legs, but Harry isn’t having any of it. His grip tightens on her thighs and makes it so she can’t even think of moving them. 

Both of them know Harry has always been a bit shy and submissive when it comes to sex. Christina was quite the dominant herself so it worked out. But today, today is definitely different. It’s obvious that Christina is beyond surprised at the commanding inflection in Harry’s voice and the way he’s dealing with her right now.

Jiung was observing the thing. He roteted it in his fingers and you started to get to the end of your story.

"It really looks preatty in the sunlight" he said and gave you a smile that had you melting. He thanked you and put the rock on his shelf next to the other things you gave him. "I think I will have to get another place for all of your gifts."

Laughing, he pulled you on his lap and told you he loved this rock. Playing with your hair he started to tell you about the stone he saw in the national park he and his classmate went to few years ago.

Intak

Sometimes you had a hard time expressing your fellings. Luckily, Intak was always very understanding towards you and gave you your space when that was neded or was listening when you clumsily were trying to tell him how you felt.

This only made you love him even deeper and you wanted to give him something that could express it. You thought about it for a few days and even scearch the internet for inspirations, but all the ideas were too cringy for your liking.

One night when you were staying all day with Intak at the dorms, doing nothing in partiqullar, just enjoying each other presence. You were checking a newsletter, when something caught your attention. The local ZOO was having a new animal - a small panda.

The idea came to your mind and this day you went back to your home sooner then you were planning to, so you could do all the formalities and do some calls.

Three weeks later you take Intak for a date to ZOO. This day was really lovely - spenting much needed time togheter and laughing almost every second for no reason. You looked at the Intaks reactions, when you were telling him the story of the Panda that was sleeping in the shadow of the tree.

Suprise and happines on his face, when he read the information about the animal and saw the name of the virtual owner, was something you were expecting, but it still flooded your heart with warmth.

"It's you!?" he screamed as he pulled you for a hug. You both laugh and you confirmed it.

If his face was always bright and smiley, the best description on how he looked in that moment was like a sun or birds in the morning. Or maby the happiness was the most accurate description.

Soul

You coudn't wait to give him a bracelet that was maching the one you were wearing. You made them both the day before.

By the blush on your cheeks Keeho could tell you were onto someting, when he opened the door for you. You told him about your little suprise, but said he didn't get to see the bracelet before Shota. Smiling, he told you your boyfriend will probably love it. Laughing, you went to Shota's room in a little bit of jumpy manner.

Walking in, you smiled at your biyfriend, gave him a long hug and a little kiss on the left cheek. You were too occupied in looking at him and petting his hairs to noticed Taeyong on the other side of the room before, so you said hello to him a little later.

The presence of the other boy, held you back and you waited for a moment alone to give Shota the bracelet. But before that, he noticed the one you had on your wirst and asked you about that.

"Well, I have someting for you! I think they are really cute and now we're matching" you said as you gave him the present. He was looking at it for quiet some time whithout saying anyting. "I wanted to wait untill we will be alone, but since you asked, I thought I could gave you this now."

Shota finally looked at you and could tell his silence made you a little woried. But there was nothing to be worried about. He loved this bracelet and in this very moment he made a promise to himself, that he will be wearing it as often as possible.

He told you that, making all of your worries go away and then he went to the rest of the boys to show it to them, making you a little shy and proud.

Jongseob

You liked listening to your boyfriends ranting about all the things. His mind was like a house with countless amount of rooms with ideas and thougths that always made you feel vivid.

But sometimes, Jongseob had problem with formimg his thoughts and feelings into words. It was something normal - they were so fast and always were followed by next thoughts. Your mind were the same and you noticed it when you met for the second time. But you didn't say anything, you didn't wanted to "make things wirde".

Even now, while in reletionship for a few months you didn't say anything about similarities of you thoughts proces. Honestly, you didn't feel like this was needed anymore, you had a feeling Jingseob understood this by himself.

Wanting to help him sort his thought out, you buy him a diary. It wasn't big and the cover was purple. You wrote on the first page your reasons why you wanted him to have it. You hopeed writing things down would calmed him and helped him, just as it helped you.

You finished by drawning small flowers next to your signature at the end of the page and came out of the buss, noticing it was already your stop. You asked your boyfriend out to a little date in his favoritue icecream shop.

After you both order the ice desserts, you gave him a gift with a bright smile. He was slightly suprised, but when he started reading what you wrote, it made sens to him - he really apreacieted your helped and he wanted made sure for you to know it.

Only slightly related, but I love the little hybrid trait hcs!! Like creeper!Sam with green scale freckles or hissing when he's angry (I also rlly like the centaur designs for him, I'm figuring out how to draw it currently)

Imagine Quackity has smaller duck wings and he sometimes tries to cover you with them but,..They're just so itty bitty,.,.that or he turns into a literal duck like Philza does as a crow -🍉

Yessssssss I love this alot. (P.S. There’s not going to be a lot of content tonight because I’m a bit tired and my brain is fried from homework lol)

Like Sam as a Creeper hybrid? Cute as hell. Green freckles coat his cheeks that you sometimes trace when you’re bored or cuddling and it makes him light up, both literally and figuratively. It’s so cool to watch his little dark green specks turn into lime specks as he blushes at the close attention that you’re giving him. 

So unlike a normal creeper, Sam does not get angry very easily. I feel like he would get frustrated and would let out that signature creeper hiss, which would startle anything and anyone around him and would scare them away, causing Sam to be able to calm down and take the proper amount of time to fix the problem… That bein said, when Sam does reach his breaking point, his anger is explosive… Again both literally and figuratively. When he gets extremely angry and cannot find it in himself to calm down, he will run outside to an open area and lets out a very loud yell. This yell causes a literal explosion around him. It would be the same radius as a normal creeper explosion and would cause the same amount of damage to anything near him as a creeper. (He’s never actually caused anyone damage because again he makes sure that he’s far away from everyone). But after words, he feels so much better. His anger is completely gone and he just feels better. He would then quickly patch up any holes he made in the ground and would go back to what he was doing, this time a lot more calm and with a clear head to approach the situation. 

Something that could be a little sad depending on your preferences. The two of you could absolutely not get a cat. They terrify him. His human side is fine with them but he cannot help the way that his heart pounds and his palms sweat even being near one. He always finds his feet moving without even thinking about it. He physically cannot force himself to be around a cat. Every time you two are somehow around one, you have to keep him calm and assure him that he’s alright with lots of kisses and hugs. You two do end up adopting a dog together, Fran, and spoiling the absolute crap out of her, but cats are just a big no no. 

Small side note, it would be so awesome to go out on late night dates because the mobs do not mess with Sam. Like even though he’s a hybrid, they’re terrified of his power and so they just leave you too alone. 

Oh Duck hybrid!Quackity has my whole heart. 

Yes he absolutely has little wings that he pins to his back as close as he can get them because he’s a little bit embarrassed about them. *bout to get sad hold on* But also because Schlatt was always a little too rough with his wings and so he keeps them close so no one can touch them. It takes him so long before he relaxes and finally lets you gently stroke his wings… Okay enough sadness. Once he’s comfy with you and you being around his wings, he will literally never not show you them when you two are alone in your own house. Like you two will be cuddling and his wings will flutter and he will 1000% attempt to wrap you up in them, they only get around you half way because of the size of them, but it makes you feel nice regardless. Once he is comfy, he loves feeling your hands softly smoothing his feathers. It reminds him that not everyone is out to hurt him and that there are still people out there that love him and want to take care of him. 

Quackity loves water, ya know… Cause he’s a duck. But he loves going swimming with you. He is so happy in the water and will literally swim circles around you while you just stand there and giggle at his happy behavior. He also loves taking baths and showers together. There is nothing sexual about them. He just loves standing under the water and holding you close or holding you close while submerged in the water. Sometimes you’ll wash his hair and his wings for him and it makes him shiver and let out small happy duck noises. 

While looking on the internet for duck behavior, it has come to my attention that ducks love napping. (at least the ones on the website I found did). So the two of you nap at least once a day together. Again, Quackity just holds you close and attempts to wrap his wings completely around you. 

Alright now for the moment you’ve all been waiting for: tiny duck Quackity. It happens when he gets really hurt or when he gets spooked pretty bad, but he turns into a duck. He immediately comes to you and if you’re not paying attention, he gives you a really aggressive quack. You would instantly drop what you were doing and pick up your boyfriend, who would relax just a little bit in your hands and would nuzzle his head into your hands, letting out a content quack. “What am I going to do with you?” You ask gently, moving to the couch where you sit down and set him on your chest. His head peaks up and his eyes cracks open and he gives a slightly offended quack that causes you to laugh and run a soothing hand down the tiny duck’s back. “Yes, Quackity. You know I was just kidding. I love you so much.” you assure your boyfriend, leaning your head forward and pressing a small kiss to his beak and then the top of his head. Your words and affection cause him to let out a small coo as he settles back into your chest and nuzzles into you closer before closing his eyes and beginning his nap. You let out another small chuckle and continue to pet him knowing that there was no way you were getting up anytime soon.

Soooo now you've watched all of S1-4, when do you think Mondler startted fancying each other? Like, specifically for each of them? Do you think it was always there, or on and off? I count you as the internet's Mondler expert so I'm v interested to hear your thoughts! x

First off, thank you. That's really sweet. This is a huge question and I want to do it justice. Let me know if this makes any sense.

We'll start with Chandler.

I think Chandler has had a crush on Monica almost the entire time he's known her. It might have started as simple friendship but somewhere in those early years as they teased Ross he realised she laughed at all of his jokes and have him all of his attention. No one has ever done that for him before.

I think it happened slowly for him but he's always been aware of it. He knows the reason he doesn't like doesn't like her dates, and even Rachel at the beginning, because she deserves better and she doesn't see him. He tolerates them, of course, and won't say anything about them not being good enough, she deserves better than that. But he can't help but wonder if he'd be better for her than Paul and Alan and Fun Bobby.

Chandler has always found himself dating women that are similar to Monica and that's no accident. He has a type, yes, but it's not strong confident brunettes, it's her. He might not doing consciously and I don't think there's any malicious intent, but every woman he dated reminds him of Monica a little and that's why he's attracted to them and why it won't ever work. Look at Janice and Joanna's personalities and Kathy's haircut.

So, from the beginning he's been aware of his crush on her. It comes and goes, flaring up again when she's hurt or upset or wants to spend time with him above anybody else. He won't ever do anything about it, doesn't want to ruin their friendship, he's never had a family like this one and losing Monica would be the worst in itself but it would also mean losing everyone else. But sometimes he wonders if they could cross the line, if he could put his arm around her on the chair and know it meant something, if he could make certain she would never cry again because of some loser date. Sometimes he wonders if he should be feeling this way, if she can see it, if she might ever feel the same way, and every so often he'll offer him himself, but until London she hadn't taken him seriously.

I think having him crush on her for most of preMondler without intending on doing anything about it most of the time (I don't want to taint those beautiful friendship moments) makes things like Chandler adamantly believing they're "meant to be together" make sense and justify why he thought London was "the most romantic night if his life" and was so upset that it wasn't them finally admitting to themselves they felt something more in The Truth About London.

Monica's a little more difficult.

She definitely had a crush on him the first time she met him. She undoubtedly thought he was attractive and funny and the first person who really, even off-handedly believed in her. Of course he ruined that with a hurtful frat comment and she tried to hate him. And it was easy when he wasn't in her life, but seeing him again made her heart race.

And then she cut off his toe. She's not sure how, but that's when they became friends. Clearly, he was embarrassed by it, but he never blamed her. He would laugh about being teased at school, not sure how his friends had found out, and roll his eyes over the table at her at her doofus brother and it was nice to have someone agree with her that he wasn't God's gift like he thought he was. It was nice to have a friend like him, easy to talk to and constant.

She had thought something might happen between them when she told him the apartment across from her was for sale. She knew it was expensive, it wasn't passed down from a family member, so she thought maybe there was another reason he'd taken it. They had dinner together and walked each other to work and shared their lunch breaks in local cafes and played pool in the bar but nothing had ever happened. They teased and they touched in the most intimate ways, his fingers on the bare skin of her arm when he wanted her attention, but nothing ever eventuated. She started thinking maybe he didn't feel the same.

So her crush for him lay dormant for years. A few times it reared its head, always at the wrong time. She would see him running lines with Joey, playing with Ben, listening to Phoebe talk about her grandmother and her heart would just clench, stopping for a second because she saw him. She saw who he was and what he was capable of and Aurora didn't see it and no one else seemed to want it. It wasn't a crush so much as it was love for him and all he does silently for his friends but because so much time had past and nothing had ever happened, she brushed it aside as anything but what it was.

There were times when she would think he was teasing in the daylight but moonbeams and streetlights shining through her window would make her see the shadows on his face when she thought about the way she had snapped or laughed when she rejected him. In those hours she worried that what she was feeling was that old crush coming back and not merely concern for her friend. She worried he would stop asking and she worried that she didn't want him to.

She had even thought, giddily, that the night they had kissed at Joey's party would eventuate into something more. She often lay awake with the ghost of his lips on hers, his tongue tasting hers and wondered how the universe could be so cruel as to not let him remember it.

It was on their trip home from the beach when he sat on the opposite side of the cab that Monica realised it might be more than merely friendship. He didn't want to touch her, didn't want to press his shoulder against hers or let her rest her head on him and it hurt, deep in her soul, wondering if he would ever offer himself to her again and vowing she would say yes the next time he did. But he'd dropped the subject, she'd asked him to play cards but he didn't out and out ask her the way he had a few days prior and she did her best to let him know she would say yes but she's not certain he got the message.

And then came Kathy. She'd never seen him like that, desperate to be loved by the woman he thought he lived, worried he was hurting his friend. And then doing everything he could to make sure she stayed in his life once they were together. While they were together she had worried that Chandler would leave her, move out to Hollywood to be with this woman who didn't love him back but it was worse after they broke up. He had no time for her and she had no time for him with work and the wedding and giving Rachel advice and taking care of Phoebe and she was mad that he'd won her apartment. They were further than ever before from each other. But then he'd look across the table and hand her part of the paper, or host a pretty good party, or barge into her personal space like he always would and everything was normal, the same as it always was. She's not sure who initiated it but they started spending more time together than ever before. She'd come over for breakfast and he'd plant himself on on the same chair as her when she watched a movie to relax. They made sure they had time just the two of them like they always had, sitting side by side on the orange lounge before everyone else joined them in Central Perk.

Only she knew things now. She knew that he loved fiercely and desired loyalty and was near and tidy and determined. He fought for what he wanted in little ways and protected himself by closing off from everyone but her. She knew he went weeks simply cuddling with a girlfriend and was both so truthful and so good in bed a girl came rushing over to thank her for the lesson she'd given him, not that it really mattered. It was things she already knew, mostly, but maybe the first time she'd seen them all at once.

She'd realised then, somewhere late in season four that he need for him to not be sad, to always be on her team, to sit beside her and help her with groceries, it was more than friendship and she wanted to know where it could lead. And she decided she would once they got back from London.

In short, they've both always had a crush, there's always been something magnetic between them. Chandler's always known but tried to fight it, tried to hide it because he thinks she deserves better, and Monica let her crush get burried under her career and her desire to value his friendship above everybody else's. But she'd always felt it too. And I genuinely think one or both of them would have acted on it in season five even if London didn't happen.
