The first months are filled with frustration, disappointment and we start to question if we will ever get it. You will drive home some nights and wonder why are you paying some one to beat you up? If you stick with it though it will change your life. You will learn much more than techniques, you will rediscover who you are. Dealing with our emotions sometimes is much harder than dealing with any opponent. Na maioria das vezes os primeiros meses de treino são cheios de frustrações, decepções e começamos a nos questionar se um dia vamos conseguir pegar as posições. Você vai pra casa depois do treino pensando “por que estou pagando pra alguém me bater?”. Mas se você continuar treinando, o JiuJitsu vai mudar a sua vida. Você vai aprender muito mais do que técnicas, você vai redescobrir quem você é. Lidar com nossos sentimentos as vezes é muito mais difícil do que lidar com qualquer oponente. Continue treinando e você verá que o JiuJitsu vai mudar sua vida muito mais do que você imagina.

Truth.. ============ #Repost @caioterrabjj with @get_repost ・・・ I often say that if you are on the mat there are no bad days, but for too many people this isn't true. I see it during seminars, I see it at competitions and I see it at my own academy. Students leaving without a smile or quitting all together. The truth is if you only enjoy the day you will never appreciate the night. There will be days you don't do well, days you are off and days nothing the teacher says seems to make any sense. In those times, focus on having fun or the time spent with your friends. Live in the moment, enjoy the journey and you will start to realize even our "worst" days on the mat are better than most days off of it. #CTAevolution #WarTribeGear @wartribegear Eu sempre digo que todos os dias no tatame são dias bons. Mas para muitas pessoas isso não é sempre a realidade. Eu vejo isso durante seminários, campeonatos e até na minha academia. Alunos saindo sem sorrir ou até parando de treinar. A verdade é que se você apenas gosta das manhãs, você nunca irá apreciar as noites. Terá dias que você não treinará bem, dias que parecem que nada da certo e dias que vc não consegue entender nada que seu professor fala. Nesses dias, foque em se divertir ou em estar perto dos seus amigos. Viva cada momento, aproveite a sua jornada e aí você vai começar a perceber que até os seus “piores” dias no tatame são melhores do que a maioria dos dias fora deles.
