Recap of Colorado Springs Comic Con last weekend: @cameronaugust and I had an A M A Z I N G time! Best con experience ever - not that we had that many, but this was a must-do-it-again kind of show. We got to meet a lot of fellow artists (shoutout to our booth neighbors: David “Artassassin” Harrigan, @yongstud, Tim Petro and other cool cats from AA such as @kaizuart, @crimson-chains and @chaostudios ), awesome cosplayers, the best venue staff and volunteers ever and of course all our friends and the great folks who came by and stopped to chat about Fallout or get some of our art. Was especially pumped to meet @pirate-cashoo and @oibob in person! (Please check out their art if you haven’t yet!) I can’t start to list off everyone individually but please know that every single interaction made us feel honored to be there. It’s one thing to get likes on your posts online and an entirely different feeling when someone comes up to you in person because they recognized your OC. You were all so nice and friendly to us, and I can only hope that we were just as kind to you and that you all had a good time!

Special thanks to all the customers who kept coming back to me with signed Yondu prints, telling me that Michael Rooker loved it. I was told he got one gifted to him and wanted to find the artist who made it so I hit him up and gave him a button of himself too. He was so sweet and friendly! :’) It was a great ending to a fun weekend!

This was legit the best experience I had at Colorado Springs Comic Con, Michael Rooker is the best most amazing human being. So story time, I walked up to him at the photo op and he just reached out to me and said "wow girl you are so sexy!" And gave me a huge hug and did the photo and after gave me a kiss on the head and whispered in my ear that he loved my cosplay and I was really sexy. I went and did a autograph signing and gave him one of my Starlord prints with a note and he got super emotional and got up from the table and gave me a hug and held me and told me how much he appreciated me thinking of him for the gift, and kept complementing me and held my hand for the duration of the meet and greet with a huge smile. He talked to me about my cosplay and how amazing he thought it was, we were talking for so long his PR had to tell him to let me leave so other people could come to the table. It was an awesome experience, better then I could have imagined.

met Rooker and gave him these little dudes this weekend! He is seriously the NICEST DUDE you could meet! Gave everyone hugs and even though we weren’t technically allowed to take photos with him he insisted we did!

We went to Dakar city tour, with our beloved coordinator Tidian and Barbara. These pictures are some tips from that. First one: Monument de la Renaissance. It shows the unite of African countries. Second one: Divinity Mosque. When constructing it, people did not use any mechanicals and even when decorating the top part, they tied people with a rope and hanged while working. Top of the fishermen told us that with this Mosque, people started to gather to the area more often, and this place became center of the heart of people in this area.

Love that Groot, Yondu, and Kylo Ren posed with some of my items. Groot had Extra Large Poli the Octopus in lime green, Yondu had Large Sia the Cuttlefish in speckled light blue, and Kylo Ren had Large Poli the Octopus in red.
