So. Some things I haven't seen pointed out yet about Clive & Jill's Burnt Black and Snow White outfits...
Jill’s is essentially Fallen Ruins en Vogue.
And then we have Clive...who is sporting a figure that looks like Ultimalius' crown on his thigh.
Joshua's Ashen Gray outfit contains a symbol or crest of sorts on the opposite thigh, but only appears to be relative to the Phoenix. If I had to hazard a guess, the opposite thighs probably points to the Mythos->Logos effect the two have when united.
#They literally branded Clive with an emblem relative to Ultima. FFXVI-2 conspiracy theories increase...#It would be so easy for CS3/SE to create a sequel where the objective is to free and save Clive#from what he had to do to save the world--taking Ultima's spirit and power upon himself.#Jill/ maybe Dion/Gav/ maybe Joshua traveling Valisthea and other new world locales...following mysterious & disturbances looking for Clive.#And Clive becomes the final boss you have to K/O in order to free him and release both him and the world from Ultima once and for all.#(Not the fic I'd write even if it has similar surface elements--I'm guessing at what they would realistically come up with.)#ffxvi

sometimes i look into modern gif making tutorials and im ???? my brothers and sisters in photoshop has the art of the open image sequence been lost. have we evolved backwards. why are you loading images into stacks and reversing and setting speed manually and having to use sharpening actions (for up to 250 frames, wowza!) when, in fact, you could do none of that and easily work on a smart object. society has evolved past the need for loading images into stacks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
