"the warrior of light!" the corners of her lips turn upwards into a smile. she hadn't expected to see him here of all places - or maybe she did. she had been rather consumed in learning royal affairs with governess and she hadn't really had a moment to herself. her hair, the colour of carnations, blows gently in the breeze as she continues. "i feel as if it has been so long since the last i have seen of you. tell me, if you please... how are things outside these stone walls? i feel as if it has been centuries since i have walked outside."

she frowns. "oh! i shall have to mention to my lady-in-waiting the next i see of her that i need a break from all of this studying!" but then a thought comes to the young princess's mind. "hmm..." placing a finger to her chin, she asks, "unless you would like to oblige me, kind sir? if you already have plans, please let me come with you! i can't suffer another moment in this stuffy castle!"

The armor stood out, it was easy to recognize, a unique set, colored with deep blues with yellow accents. Even if Neon hadn't seen that same armor set several times over. After so many loops of the Cycle, she'd lost count of how many times she'd met the Legendary Light Warriors. Each time their mission failed had meant another repetition, whether they had fallen to her or one of the others, or eventually lost to Jack.

But that was all over now, the cycle had finally been broken, the fiends were no more, Chaos was defeated. Everything had returned to how it was when this adventure had started. But Neon remembered all of it still. More than likely due to the pitch black orb she still carried. She would have thought when they cycle restarted, that when she Jack and the others returned to Cornelia, free from the meddling of Lufenia, and free from their time as the Fiends, that their crystals would be gone too. A chance for a truly new beginning, though it seemed it wasn't meant to be, at least not for Neon. She couldn't tell if the others remembered the cycles, but she didn't want to bring it up for them in fear of causing the whole thing all over again. They had a chance to move on, who was Neon to deprive them of that?

So when she came across the Light Warrior in Cornelia, she had to wonder, did he also remember her, or was this a truly fresh start? Not that he would have recognized her in her human form anyway, more than likely only knowing her by the fiendish form she'd taken when they encountered her in Mount Gulg. Not to mention that breaking the cycle effectively erased the legend of the Warriors of Light...

"Um... nice weather, huh?" Awkward...

"Is this your first time in Cornelia?"

she takes a tiny sip & promptly spits it out. ❝oh, ugh! gross!❞ regret. a heavy, pronounced regret. that wasn't grape juice at all. thanks warrior.

This was a huge project that took a lot of time and energy, and there's still so much stuff i want to add and change and perfect.
