It is now cancer season, and the moon is passing through the Sagittarius constellations, which is my birth sign! I have been feeling a highlighted abundance of passion for giving, and empathy the past few days when it comes to those in my life that are in pain. I have been finding my energy wanting to take on energy of others, which can be a beautiful yet dangerous game to play. As this sun passes through cancer, it also brings along 2 eclipses and a Mercury retrograde, meaning it is a time of transformation. As I enter this time, as a healer and empath, I must be hyper aware of energy that is not my own. I must decide which energy that is not my own that I want to continue to carry and work with, while releasing the energies that I cannot work with to change. Good morning and happy Monday! It’s coming to the end of this moon cycle and my goodness am I happy to enter into this new cycle. This new moon lands in the Gemini ♊️ season and during this time Mercury is entering the waters of cancer. This is a time of communication, which for me is also a time of healing as talking about anything helps wounds to heal. During this month I plan to tackle some new behaviours and addictions in dieting and workout that have become compulsive and aren’t seeming as healthy as I once thought. I heard a man call them “livets, not diets” recently because diet has the word die in it. This is sticking with me. Am I strict with myself for health reasons, or am I being to hard on myself and not enjoying life? At the end of the day I am a healthy queen, And beating myself up over control of my diet and control over life, is not what I want! As the moon makes its way into the waning gibbous, I celebrate my full moon practice in the morning as that is when I am most energized and connected with this wonderful planet! Welcome to my full moon meditation practice! This morning I did 2 meditations as I am in #sescheltbc for a little r and r, and this little video encompasses the first. If you remember My new moon practice was to inspire new goals within my self healing practice as well as to bring awareness to some addictions within dieting I had noticed. Well this practice I celebrate progress in releasing those energies by working with self love and peace within my beauty. At the centre of this crystal grid I place Botswana agate, a stone of sexuality and fertility, surrounded by rose quartz placed within each moon phase. I place some clear quartz from me to the sea to bring clarity in this field of love for myself I created. I chose to breathe in this salty air with thoughts of romance with myself, bringing care within those feelings of diet addiction and obsession that comes with food. I am not just a body, and I am not just an energy compactor. I have beauty that is all my own and no one can strip that away not even my own self discipline. The second of my practice was in connection with earth, wind, water, and fire. I’m burning some sacred sage, I connected to all four elements, envisioning each chakra to open wide with light emanating in a rainbow of colour. I allow each chakra to meet with each of the elements for a moment, to become one with this natural planet I call home.
