You can’t live without feeling

There’s a few people in this world who are heartless, they have a stoned heart, well that’s what we think. The truth is that they have a heart, they have emotions and feelings. They just don’t know how to feel these emotions which is why they find happiness in temporary things and people around them. They’re afraid of letting someone in their life because few years back when they had an innocent heart, someone exactly like them; a heartless person, broke their heart into pieces which was not fair to them. So they stopped letting people in. They stopped expressing. They stopped feeling their emotions because they were afraid. However, today I want to tell every heartless person that I understand where they’re coming from and I want them to know a few things about life.

We all face hardships every single day, we need to divide our life into two parts: practical life and personal life. Practical life includes our career, our dreams and goals, our health and well being. On the other hand, personal life includes our families, friends and spouses’. These two parts of life are very crucial to each one of us however, we need to manage these two by maintaining a balance between the two because if we don’t then we might end up mixing the two, it’s hard, I know but we can’t give up. These two parts clearly affect each other because they are nothing but a part of us.

Coming back to “heartless people”, you might have come across a person who is doing very well in their life, as in their practical life, they’re very focussed towards their careers, health and well-being. However you don’t know anything about their personal life, you feel how they’re trying to protect themselves from the world because they’re not letting you in. To all the heartless people in this world, you need to start facing reality. If you don’t fall down, you won’t get hurt and if you don’t get hurt then you would never be able to find the strength to overcome that fear of falling down. So you need to fall down. You need to let people come in your life, not everyone would be the same as your past, most of the people in this world have really good hearts. If you don’t let anyone in, you would lose all the good people too and then you’ll end up alone. Which is why, you need to start accepting people in your life, it’s okay to come across people who would use you and hurt you because at the end of the day they would do nothing but teach you a lesson and give you the strength to protect yourself from people like them. But it doesn’t mean that you would not let anyone come near you because it’s important to have permanent relationships in your life. You don’t know how many people actually want to stay in your life, who really want to know you, who want to be there by your side in your lowest times, who want to be there for you to wipe your tears and who want to be there to support you.

So start feeling your emotions, let those emotions come to you, feel them. Laugh as hard as you can when something is funny, cry as loud as you can if you’re upset because it is important to mourn. If you don’t mourn, you’re not actually closing the doors, you’re not letting those emotions die, you’re not forgiving those people, you’re not moving on. If you don’t close one door, you would never be able to see so many other doors waiting for you to open them. They are new opportunities, new people, new friends, new dating partner. But to see those new doors, you need to close the doors in the present and mourn about it, because it’s important. It’s important to cry and be upset because it gives you the strength to move on. So close the door you’ve always been trying to close and open up new doors, that would be your new chapter and new beginning. Have a good one!

A Cry for Help

Can you hear them calling out? Asking for an ear, for you to listen and care. For you to help them. A lot of things are unspoken but can you notice the little things? The mewling of people calling out? People have problems. Tons and tons of problems. Most of the time they carry it alone. Their thinking is that: "What I'm carrying is a burden for me alone. Sharing it with others is a bitch. Sharing it with others will add my burden to theirs. Besides, who would care? No one notices anyway so why bother?" Sad but it's the truth. Everyone pretends to be strong. They have challeneges and shit to deal with but it's something they can deal with alone. But are they really strong? I'd say no. They aren't, they're mute. They can't open themselves enough to let other people in. Sure sharing would make you vulnerable. But so what? You'll never know what sharing your burdens will do to let your spirit up. It's not wrong or shameful to talk to other people about your problems. It's not wrong to go out and ask for help. Sure other people have their own shit to deal with but that doesn't mean they won't be willing to care for you. You just have to let them. I repeat. LET. THEM. Let them hear you out. Let them show their care for you. Let them listen to you even if it takes all night. Let them know your feelings, frustrations and anxieties. Let them in. Make them understand your woes. Cry out. Cry out and don't stop until it makes you feel better. I'm not promising it'd MAKE THINGS better. But it would MAKE YOU FEEL better. Unloading all your burdens, stress anxieties and fear, it would help you. You won't be weak. Or stupid. Or annoying. It's what makes you human. You're just a normal person with problems like everybody else. Don't be afraid to cry out. To those who actually take the time to stop and listen, I thank you on behalf of those who haven't been able to convey thanks. I just hope that you actually understand where they're coming from because not all who listen, understand. And to those who actually ask for help, I salute you. It's something so difficult but you're able to do so. Honestly, it's not something I've done in the past but I am trying. I hope everyone does too. On the other hand, those who are blind and deaf, open your eyes and ears. People out there, your friends, family or even someone you know, those people may be asking for help. Their cry may be as loud as an alarm or as silent as a cemetery. They are giving you a chance to do something. Even listening to their woes would help them. You just have to take the time to listen and listen well.
