a friendly fire Artfight attack for @cruxia (xCruxia on twit) of her own character Cruxia, just always wanted to make a drawing of her <3 hopefully ive done it justice
National Hydrogen Mission: Really Life Changing Scheme by the Center(India)
Starting from the fact that India expends 12,00,000 Crore every year on the import of energy which is a ton of money OfCourse, and also important to note because according to the National Remote Sensing Agency, India has about 28% of its land area covered by darkness at night 🌙 That means more than 200 million people live in areas that are not lit up by any artificial source of light.] with 28% of land area still under darkness. (It's the data I got from bing search engine, by its digital assistant sydney). So the important point that we should be concerned about, or at least I am this time is 12L Cr. for lighting 100-28 i.e = 72% of India, meaning additional money is always needed to light up 100%. As the country buys 85% of its oil and 53% of gas demand from other countries. Well that point was for maths only.
Now the big question i.e. What is National Hydrogen Mission and what's the linkage between energy, electricity and Hydrogen, so here we go
National Hydrogen Mission is a scheme /plan launched by the Union government (Central Gov.) in 2021, with the main mission to generate clean energy using Hydrogen Gas and as to replace fossil fuels. Because India plans to use it in core industries such as "Steel" and "Chemicals", its also going to reduce "Green House Gas Emission(GHGE)".
Key point is the term "Green Hydrogen" has been coined in this scheme.
By 2030, a total of 450 Gigawatts of energy is to be produced using renewable resources, on which 100 Gigawatts has already been achieved in before the desired time.
So prima facie it looks very easy, soft target to be achieved till 2030, but here comes the bigger picture
According to the report by Crux India,
"India's total hydrogen demand is expected to nearly double from the current 6.7 million tones to 11.7 million tones by 2030. At present the cost of green Hydrogen produced in India is estimated at around ₹350 per kg and the gov's plan is to bring down the cost of green hydrogen to ₹160 per kg by 2029-30, for which it has started some very effective and efficient efforts like
improving the ethanol blending in the country to 20%, which is currently 10%
This will require more infrastructure support then what we have like more sugar mills and on time payment to farmers for the crops, also some kind of offers to farmers to attract them more, so they increase the growth(its my opinion only)
proper management of irrigation
As we all know with the data of 2013-14, only about 36.7% of total agricultural land in India was reliably irrigated.(according to the data of Ministry of Agriculture and the Central Water Commission), which shows how much low performing we are as per our capacity!
And finally, the government's way forward
According to the data by Crux India,
The Gov. aims to extend the production linked incentive(PLI) scheme for manufacturing electrolyzes to "produce green hydrogen"
India is also considering a proposal to make the purchase of green hydrogen mandatory for fertilizers, plants and oil refineries.
In this time, when climate and environment is the most deadly issue, society should work together, meaning different working classes should come up together with a joint solution, as we have seen in the Farmer protest, no one benefited from the protest, we have to look forward for a middle ground in this tuff situation and changing ecosystem, and if you consider it as just metaphorically tuff, then you can check the 19th June 2019 "Day Zero" of Chennai water crisis
Climate change due to increasing temperature of mother earth, is dangerous and we are responsible for it, whether as a society or individual, we should at least accept "this fact"!
Excited that I can finally share the finalized cover for Sableheart, my upcoming webcomic.
It's about an alien knight who sold his soul to interdimensional demons ending up in the spacefaring future, and fighting for survival in the unfamiliar realm of space as he tries to escape their grasp. He eventually finds it to be a fight for his lost happiness and those he loves as well, as he forges strong bonds with others along the way.
Contains: violence/blood, heavy themes, occasional strong language.
I've made a lot of progress with this project lately and I'm excited to share/launch it when I've got a backlog of pages ready to go. There's drama. There's funny alien demons. There's ace rep. There's existential terror. And a few other things maybe.
