Since I know you like yugioh, what are some of your favorite archetypes ignoring how competitively viable they are? Personally, I love Red-Eyes (basic I know) and Ursarctic.

Also, as this idea has tormented me, I need to share it with you: a yugioh video game where you play through the world and storylines of the world of monsters, possibly not even using Dueling as the main mechanic. Imagine if we could play through the World Chalice storyline!

Fabled has always been and always will be my absolute favorite archetype, but I also enjoy Crusadia, Generaider, Dryton, Mayakashi, Mythical Beasts, and Naturia. I'm also fond of Albaz for lore reasons in addition to making giant dragons out of my opponent's monsters.

Since it's still so new, it's hard to say what Diabellstar and the Sinful Spoils will be like, but I'm always a sucker for cool lore

Okay actually, talking about World Legacy lore-

I just find it funny how everyone fell for Lee's disguise EXCEPT for the Mekk-Knights, who were made by her and the Crusadia. AND EVEN THEN THOSE GUYS WERE USELESS (kinda, Blue Sky is the exception)

Mekk-Knights weren't fooled by nobody, but yeah, it is sad that they didn't do much. They did defeat the Project Mekk-Knight, but that was about it.

Blue Sky is a homie though, without him merging with Auram, the entire story would've been destroyed.

Crusadia is such a funny deck. In crusadia mirrors if you go first the correct action is to set backrow and pass. The correct response is to set backrow and pass back. If you set even a single monster they will turn it into upwards of ten thousand points of battle damage.

Even the tiniest bit of disruption or monster negation makes the entire deck fall over like a house of cards.
