Note
here's some Normal Monsters i think are cool! (mostly just ones that i like the artwork of)
Power Pro Knight Sisters Chosen by the World Chalice Wattaildragon Gem-Knight Garnet Alexandrite Dragon Mekk-Knight Avram Luster Dragon 7 Colored Fish Suppression Collider Frostosaurus Angel Trumpeter Galaxy Serpent Guardragon Justica Crowned by the World Chalice Doll Monster Miss Mädchen Doll Monster Bear-Bear Dragon Core Hexer Divine Dragon Ragnarok Digitron Rabidragon Metaphys Armed Dragon Flash Knight
I might have more later.
also, one question. If a monster is Normal/Pendulum, but it does have a Pendulum Effect, does it count for the list? If so, i'd like to nominate Dragonpulse Magician and Hallohallo.
All added!
I'm a little mixed on Normals with pendulum effects, but for now I'll allow it unless a significant number of people feel it's unfair.

A request by @victoriadallonfan, Taylor and Victoria in Yugioh
Here Taylor plays Beetrooper, an archetype focused on swarming the field with insect monsters. She swarms the field, deploys stronger insects and tributes others to climb to insane levels of damage.
Victoria plays mainly Knightmare, the corrupted versions of "Mekk-Knight" monsters. With her deck she's looking to field as many Knightmares as she can, with continuous effects that benefit linked monsters, or burden those that are not
You can see the favorite cards under the cut
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Bonus - Knightmare unicorn is the corrupted version of Mekk-Knight Yellow star:

So one fun thing I've noticed on my latest big dive into Yugioh Card Lore:
The girls and ladies in the Albaz storyline have the notable distinction of being treated with more respect/development/generally better than basically every female character in ANY mainline Yugioh anime.
Tumblr media
I mean Ecclesia gets to be a proper deuteragonist, and possibly even the actual main character depending on adaptation and framing.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Kitt gets to be the main character of the story's major B-plot and gets to lead the big 'show up with the cavalry to save the day' moment during the final battle.*
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Fleurdelis gets to be kind of the biggest badass in the whole story, to the point of straight up killing the final boss herself.
Tumblr media
And Aegirine and Mo Ye both get a good old fashioned, no strings attached REVENGE arc.
It's like if Tea was the one to get the Millennium Puzzle, Alexis got to lead all of Duel Academy into battle, all four bracelet girls got to team up to take down Zarc together instead of all getting fridged, and Aki and Sherry got to have a whole revenge rampage on Arcadia and Yliaster.
And yeah, I am fully aware that this notable distinction ALSO applies to plenty of other girls across Yugioh card lore like the Sky Strikers, Diabellstar, the Shiranui/Mayakashi, the Evil/Live Twins and more. It just feels a bit more notable in the Albaz lore given that it's probably the most fully realized storyline in Yugioh card lore (not counting manga adaptations of Sky Strikers) and that it has, at least what APPEARS to be, a pretty standard fantasy-hero-guy protagonist.
*Also this is completely unrelated, but I would like it to be know that the original name for 'Rindbrumm the Striking Dragon' before localization USED to be Lindwyrm the GUN-HAMMER Dragon. I swear that is the biggest localization fuck-up since Mekk-Knight 'Check THIS out!' Avram.

So, hi! For those who're wondering if I'm doing anything YGO related these days, well I'm working on a new project, and that why I haven't done much drawing at all. Also feverishly waiting for the MD leaks.
I also participated in a little CADT style event.
Tumblr media
Repping the Utopia/ZW archetype against three others: Vaylantz, Mekk-knights and Gusto, I ended up 3-1, without our team passing unfortunately, with... This concoction.
AMA!

I was just wondering if there was any particular reason why your pfp is “Danger! Tsuchindigo Eclipse!?”
There isn't a big reason
One day in a discord server I was on, everyone used variations of Tsuchinoko as their pfp. I was playing mekk-knight at the time and that idea came to my mind. So I made that pfp, and kept using it since.

This should be the end of this month's V-Jump reveals. Now we wait for the Twitter reveal for tomorrow, then the stream, and then the V-Jump leaks.
*****
Orcust reprints will update a few card texts to current Link related effect text format, most notably Mekk-Knight Crusadia Avramax, but there are stll many World Legacy themes that need to be updated, so those will be in later sets.

Mekk-Knight Golden Dawn
Fusion
Light/Warrior
Level 10
Attack: 3000. Defense: 2500.
2+ Mekk-Knight Monsters
When this card is Fusion Summoned to the same column of a card on the field: Add 1 Mekk-Knight card from your deck to the hand. You can activate this effect for every material used for the Fusion Summon of this card: Move 1 card on your opponent's side of the field. If this card is in the same column as your opponent's monster, this card can attack twice.
Mekk-Knight Mixing
(This card is always treated as a "World Legacy" card). You can use monsters on your field and hand to Fusion Summon 1 Mekk-Knight monster from your Extra Deck, however, if you control Mekk-Knight Spectrum Supreme, you can banish from your graveyard instead. Banish this card from the graveyard to move 1 card to a different column.

And its particularly awesome when you master the way of the noob.
I play yugioh, and its a very aggressive game; 9/10 times the duel ends by turn 4, most consisting on the player going 1st assembling an outlanfish board and the one going 2nd trying to break that board and win on the crackback.
But there are exceptions; whereas there are going second decks which focus on putting out a single thrust to win with a one turn kill (at the expense of amy chance of doing anything in the following turns if they fail), i play a deck called Mekk Knight. This deck doesnt OTK, but it needs to go 2nd since it requires there to be cards on my opponents side on the field to work. Its a deck which wants to go 2nd to ensamble a board.
This is so heterodox that even though the deck hasnt been meta in years, it constantly shows up in tournaments because how little used people are to that playstyle. People at my locals are playing cards specifically because of me, or are changing their playstyle and forcing me to go first to avoid giving me a chance to set up. Its hilarious to me how an average strategy can turn the game upside down just because of gimmicks.
