I can't stop imagining if Cruel was still alive and the two Hardt brothers could finally communicate with each other and clear up the misunderstanding.
And it is the reader who unites them. Because that is also part of the reader's mission. When, Deon's two personalities merge and he thinks there is only happiness ahead of him. Because he has his older brother who supports him and his lover who is always by his side (You). But...
In your mind ... 'how? How do I tell him?' You are a person who came from another world and was given a guide by the world to complete the mission of defeating the demon king so that you can return to your original world. You can't return to your original world before the demon king is defeated.
If in the future the next hero is Deon Hardt, you hope that Deon Hardt will not be the next hero and let someone else be the next hero. Of course, the world only grants your wish, once. You are happy.
But the main problem is... How do you tell him? You will leave this world after the demon king is killed. You feel so guilty because he has already fallen and trusted you. He has fallen so, so low in you. He never believed that you would leave him.
So, can you explain?

"Tell me you love me" Cruel Hart had married a demon.
"Tell me what you see in me, am I a monster in your eyes?"—But, you were more human than not. A demon that knew how to cry, and kneel in the face of love.
There was no sound, none but his apathetic gaze remained unwavering even at this moment of argument.
Who truly was the heartless demon at this moment?
"Tell me atleast something!" He was cruel, always kept you waiting for him when he knew he could never give the time in his heart for anyone else but his family. His family that weighed more than you, it seemed.
"Did you even love me?"—Cruel Hart never thought a breath could ever be knocked out of his lungs. He chokes on the question he didn't know the answer to, hid the truth behind his gaze;
"I don't," — and spat out a lie.

didn't think too much of this at first but then I reread the chap and umm
Tumblr media
so we know already that Cruel thinks Deon is dying soon from all the fighting he's doing and the demon king's curse(unaware that there was no curse in the first place) and that he's waiting for it to happen so he could do something (take revenge on the duke(??) I'm guessing)
So now I have a terrible thought,,, what if Cruel was planning to kill himself right after getting revenge, so he wouldn't have to live another day after his brother's death? 😹😹😹😹 (crying inside)

Idk why but out of nowhere I really really want to read/watch INTKOT react to Cruel Hardt as Ivan from Alien Stage and the timeline is after his death. I know it's cruel because Deon still mourning and it'll doubled because he will find out that his brother died again after sacrificing himself, AGAIN.
Or the before his death and Deon spiraling on why his brother care so much to this stranger (Till) in his next life while he 'hate' him, Deon. And he is in denial that Cruel died in that universe, deep down he doesn't want that to happened, although he know that Cruel still alive in their universe.

On the day of the banquet at the palace, Deon fell ill and was unable to continue creating a huge butterfly effect in the world...
Deon was in his bed thinking about how bad it was that he caught the flu out of nowhere, little did he know that this had been the best thing that happened in his life, a few years after that Eduardo Deserte became the emperor better known as the tyrant who declared that from now on that kingdom would be called the Empire and soon after that he declared war
It was another happy day, a month after Deon's 14th birthday, he and his cruel brother were in the garden playing chess...
" Hi checkmate! " said cruel victoriously
"Ha why can I never win?" Said deon sad and defeated
Cruel was now 17 years old (because his brother doesn't stay away from the family they talk a lot more and have a great relationship) and Deon was 14 years old (because he was never beaten and called a monster he has better self-esteem than in the original universe and have a better relationship with your family)
"...Deon....I...I need to tell you something.." Cruel said this with a little sadness in his voice, before Deon realized it the air in the place became tense
"Deon... you've noticed that our parents have gotten a lot busier lately, haven't you?" he said cruelly, he wasn't as happy as he used to be.
"Yes I noticed but isn't that expected with all this stuff about the new emperor and such?" said deon
"Deon...I'm going to war" Deon couldn't believe what his brother had said, he knew about the war but he didn't know that his brother would have to go
"What!? When!? Why!?" To say that Deon was shocked was an understatement.
"The Emperor has ordered that one son from each Noble family must go to war, and the Imperial soldiers came to pick me up later today."
After a lot of talk about why Cruel would have to go, it was time for the soldiers to pick him up, his parents and the maids and servants of Hart County gathered to say "goodbye" to Cruel, Deon cried a lot when he saw his brother being taken away by the soldiers, deon wanted to go in his brother's place so he wouldn't have to go through that hell, after that day deon swore he would get stronger so he could protect his family and everyone he loves so his brother wouldn't have to protect everyone alone.

Unnatural Love

Part 6 Synopsis : Name has being transmigrated into the world of I'm Not That Kind Of Talent without ever reading the novel. She's not being reincarnated as a human but as a devil as well. Hi There! I want to let you know that this fanfiction story isn't solely my creation. I borrowed the concept from @quqiwo2. I haven't actually read the novel either, just some spoiler to the end.
I hope you'll excuse my spelling and grammar mistake, because English not my first language.
Tumblr media
Finally after we were anxious to think about our future relationship. We also decided to keep our dating relationship as a secret from the Demon King .
But that's not the most important thing I want to say...
Because…
Finally, Deon himself revealed his secret. To ME!!!
He said that because for him we were already together, that's why he would also tell his secret life story.
I've actually wanted to know about him since a long time ago but wasn't sure how he would respond if I asked. So I'm afraid that if I want to ask directly,
The past is a taboo topic for soldiers. Because they have to sacrifice their humanity to fight. It would be unethical to ask casually. It’s also will drop the mood and interrupted that person.
He was the one who told me that his name was not Demon Arut, but Deon Hardt. And he also asked to just call him Deon when we were alone, I agreed with him.
He said that his original name, Deon, changed to Demon because he was being misunderstood by the devil's advertisements and was constantly being misunderstood his whole life.
And finally, Deon also told me about his life story, starting from when he was born albino, had a weak body since birth, was forced to fight in the war between kingdom, survived through struggle and luck and too often lost his memory.
When I heard everything Deon told me. I honestly feel very sad and sympathetic to him. But also wondering...
Is it accurate to say that his family is so unkind as to send him to war despite his physical condition being unsuitable?? Is there really having no misunderstanding at all?
Why am I asking the reality of the Deon’s story?
Because it’s really contradictive for me…
If his family really intended to kill Deon, why didn't they try to escape knowing that Deon could return home after 8 years of war? It is difficult to believe that Deon will not harbor any resentment towards those who sent him to war and they should be the one who know that.
Life is the second most valuable thing for nobles, after money of course. If they don't live, how will they enjoy their money? It’s logical to think that they would try to save their lavish life.
Just imagine, okay?
We become war soldiers for 8 years, and 8 years can survive in a war that can make people's minds go crazy. The psychological burden of a murderer must be enormous-- the possibility of the person becoming crazy and psychopathic is also possible occurrence.
Of course, the normal people would usually try to avoid Deon, who miraculously survived.
But his family, who tried to kill him, didn't run away and instead welcomed Deon home. As if they weren't aware of Deon's grudge for not being willing to become a soldier?
It's either that Deon's parents are stupid, greedy, trash, or a misunderstanding.
That's the biggest possibility of Deon's story which has a definite plot twist. Because Deon's story from start to finish is truly spectacular, suitable as a fantasy novel full of drama and tragedy. As an expert on fantasy novels, I am sure that there is a misunderstanding that has occurred.
Besides, his older brother, Cruel Hardt, also has oddities, Deon said that his brother hate and want to kill him, he also becomes a hero following his younger brother. Why did his brother never try to kill Deon who killed his parents with his own hands. Why?
Revenge is most delicious and satisfying when it is done with one's own hands. People who want revenge will never allow their targets to be killed by others. Because that is the revenge system that can satisfy a heart full of revenge.
So it is clear that there must be a big problem hidden without Deon's knowledge.
I believe this aligns with the perspective of seasoned readers. Those who enjoy cliché fantasy novels frequently trust their gut feelings. I can feel that in the future there will be will be a sacrifice that will occur if this situation continues and it will affect Deon too.
I actually don't know about psychological problems. But Deon's character is very unsuitable for someone who has becoming the hero of the war.
I'm not mocking him, but the trauma he has should be there for someone who didn’t want to do a war. He even told the story as if he didn't have any trauma at all. He talked about his 8 year war so casually, didn’t took any life at all but he took the lives of his family, and then he was sent to be one of the hero's journey companions and his hero died, but he became the Commander of the demon king's zero army now, but he said he was weak?
There's no way that could happen, war is never a joke. Only the strong can survive. It’s the same principle in this devil’s world
Even if he was lucky, Luck didn't work like that. That's why I say Deon's story is very suitable because it is a tragic fantasy. Especially the plot hole that occurs due to memory loss. I'm sure it must be because of his psychological problems, Deon's psychology seems so unstable that he can be like that.
I've only heard of it but is it possible that he has a split personality. According to an article I once read, people who have multiple personalities will not remember what the other personality did, As a mechanism to take care of itself. This symptom is match with his condition.
So I can't tell Deon all these facts I just thought about.
If all my hypotheses are really true, then tragedy will come to Deon. Because it's impossible to have a happy ending after all of Deon's stories have happened. Then what about me?
“Adele, Adele!”
Surprised, I turned to Deon. He looked at me with a worried look. "Adele, was my story that surprising to you?"
It seemed like he was worried about my situation. Maybe he thought I was in shock after my fragility earlier, even though I was just thinking about the possibility that Deon's story was a fantasy story from earth or not?
I exhaled tiredly. Of course, my thoughts above are just a hypothesis. It seems that I really have talent as a novel writer if my imagination continues like this.
"Even if your story is so surprising to me, this is your story. Of course, the one who feels the saddest is Deon, right?" I tried to empathize with him, even if I've never experienced the same thing as Deon.
Deon just looked down and made a shadow with his hair. This makes him feel very far from me. I, who couldn't stand seeing that, slowly touched his hand first before finally holding it.
Only then did he look back at me. I smiled sadly.
"I'm sorry I made you remember your past. But I'm glad you were honest with me about your past. Would you like me to hug you in return?" I opened my arms, inviting him to hug. At first she was hesitant, but then she came into my arms.
When he hugged me, suddenly a panel screen appeared in front of me.
Tumblr media
The screen shocked me and shocked Deon too until his body turned stiff. I immediately stroked Deon's back. Trying to calm myself and Deon too.
"Sorry, Deon, I thought there was an insect passing by."
"Bugs won't come in here!"
"That's why I said I saw wrong."
After that, Deon was silent and I continued to stare at the damn screen that suddenly appeared in front of me.
Is this a clue to the reason why I am in this world.
Does that mean I came to this world without notice and had to suffer in this world because of Deon?
To change Deon's tragic fate from beginning to end…
.
.
.
Do I have any other choice but to accept it?
I had come into this world without warning, suffered, met Deon, interacted with him without thinking of him as a tragic character and we dated too now.
Maybe this screen is waiting for the right moment so that I can't resist it. Honestly, if I got this quest before. Maybe I will reject it outright.
But because I already know Deon, know him, like him, he finally was honest with me about himself. Do I have the heart to let Deon meet his tragic end? My conscience really couldn't bear to refuse this quest.
With a heavy heart but also with an anxious heart, I pressed the yes button.
And I can see a list of skills that I can get if I do the quest. This is like farming games where I have to deposit items first before I can get the prize.
Wait a minute, Why do I have to do Quests all full of romantic scenes.
Teasing Deon, holding hands, hugs, cheek kisses, and so on until there is something most erotic that makes you
My face heated up instantly.
But in the most erotic part, namely doing it with Deon, the prize was clearly visible.
‘Clear the karma of Deon hart’
My eyes and mouth opened wide. I reflexively tightened my hug which made Deon squirm. I realized that I immediately let go of our hug.
"What's wrong with you all this time, it's like you've been seeing a ghost?" Deon's face became dirty. Maybe he's sulking because I keep bothering him.
I can only smile nervously. Technically, it is true that the screen that appears suddenly is like the jump scare.
"N- it's nothing! This is just because I'm hugging you for the first time. So I'm nervous." I avoided Deon's gaze. I don't even know if Deon can accept this reason.
Of course I'm not a fool who would say screen to Deon. He must not know that he had a tragic ending and only I can change his life.
If he found out, he would most likely kill all the demons and himself right now.
Of course that's something that can't happen now.
“Me too, this is my first time in a long time. "
“Then shall we hug again, I promise this time I will be quiet. “
Well, we hugged again, and in the end we both fell asleep.
To Be Continued
How is my innovations? Are you like it?

Except how would Treehouse know Alois (who WAS very popular with gay men, only fujos were angry) and Gilbert would be angry? The gay options were leaked a week ago and the game shouldve been in shipping processes before then so no changes could be made til launch. They're just cowards if they wasted gays time with only Lin"mightaswellhaveacooch"hardt being the last chance for gay fans.
Think about it from a corporate (ie cruel and ignorant) perspective. The fandom reacted very viciously to Zero, who was a transgressive, different romance option. Assuming you have an old sock in your head instead of a brain because you are a soulless corporate suit, it's a rational conclusion that the fanbase would again react viciously to romance options that are, again, transgressive and different by being with older men.
With Fates, the fanbase reacted positively to censored content and even complained that more should have been removed. Why wouldn't corporate assume the fans would be fine with "problematic" material being removed once more?
Though, again, we don't know what the original Japanese supports looked like at this point.

JACOBIN MAGAZINE
It is commonplace to observe that the post-crash era is defined by the rise of populist movements on both the Left and the Right, amid a trend of growing political polarization. Yet rather less remarked upon is the return of the party as a central actor in the political arena.
Across the West, and in Europe in particular, we are witnessing a resurgence of the political party. Both old parties, like Labour in Britain, and new ones, like Podemos in Spain and France Insoumise, have experienced spectacular growth in recent years, while also undergoing important organizational innovations.
This revival of the party-form is remarkable given that for many years sociologists and political scientists almost unanimously predicted that the political party was losing its primacy in a globalized and highly diversified digital society.
In fact, the current left resurgence has itself belied such forecasts. For digital technology has not supplanted the party. Rather, activists have used its advances in order to develop innovative mechanisms for appealing to citizens, even as they assert the party-form anew as the main instrument of political struggle.
Botched Forecasts
That political parties are undergoing a revitalization is first of all evident in the growing number of party members, a clear turn from the long-falling memberships that many historical European parties experienced beginning in the 1980s.
In Britain, the Labour Party is on course to hit 600,000 members, after having touched a nadir of just 176,891 in 2007 at the end of Tony Blair’s leadership. In France, Jean-Luc Melenchon’s France Insoumise movement counts 580,000 supporters, making it the largest party in France, just a year and a half after its foundation. In Spain, Podemos, founded in 2014, stands at over 500,000 members, over double the figure for the Socialist Party. Even in the US, a country that for most of its history has lacked mass parties in the European sense of the term, we can see a somewhat similar trend, as the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), the country’s largest socialist formation, has grown to 50,000 members in the aftermath of Bernie Sanders’s bid for the Democratic nomination in 2016.
This spectacular growth in the membership rolls of left-wing parties — many of which are new formations — strikingly contrasts with the forecasts that had until recently been made by many political scientists. Between the 1990s and the period just before the 2008 financial crisis, scholars concurred in predicting the ultimate demise of the political party. Amid growing voter apathy and declining memberships, the political party seemed to many an outmoded type of organization — a stubborn relic of a bygone past.
In 2000, famed political scientists Russell Dalton and Martin Wattenberg argued that “today mounting evidence points to a declining role for political parties in shaping the politics of advanced industrial democracies. Many established political parties have seen their membership rolls wane, and contemporary publics seem increasingly skeptical about partisan politics.” Irish scholar Peter Mair asserted that we were witnessing the passing of the “age of party democracy,” arguing that a number of phenomena, such as the volatility of the electorate and the rise of a widespread “anti-political sentiment” pointed to the decline of political parties.
Besides being a commentary on the decline of the membership of historical mass parties, such a diagnosis was often informed by postmodern theories about “the end of history”; a prophecy which for many also meant that the party — in most traditional Marxist theory, the decisive historical actor — had met its end.
Amidst the extreme differentiation and individualization of the “network society” described by sociologist Manuel Castells, with its increasing room for individual autonomy and flexibility, all organizations would approximate the horizontal morphology of the network, rather than the vertical structure of the pyramid that dominated industrial-era organizations. This did not seem to bode well for the future of the political party, which by its nature involves the presence of a centralized leadership structure, demanding discipline and submission of individual wills to a collective goal.
Added to this was the perception of a crisis of partisan identification. Class identities were seen as no longer capable of mobilizing voters, and parties were becoming “catch-all” organizations, opportunistically seeking votes wherever they could find a gap in the “electoral market.”
This sociology of extreme complexity, individualization, and class disintegration was accompanied by the argument that in a globalized world, the party would lose importance for the simple reason that the nation-state — the party’s traditional object of conquest and framework of operation — was losing power in favor of global governance institutions. Self-proclaimed “Marxian” maîtres à penser Antonio Negri and Michael Hardt celebrated the shift from nation-states to a global empire, not too dissimilarly from the way in which New York Times columnist Thomas L. Friedman waxed lyrical about the impending victory of globalization over nations.
The global condition seemed to favor other types of collective organization, operating transnationally and focusing on “single issues”: networked protests, social movements, charities, and NGOs. It is significant that the World Social Forum, the main gathering of the anti-globalization movement, explicitly excluded parties, as if they were not just outdated but also morally reproachable.
Anti-Party Suspicion
This strong anti-party sentiment that has shaped the political education of past generations of left-wing activists was informed the form’s authoritarian distortions over the twentieth century.
Nazism and Stalinism demonstrated the extent to which the party could be turned into a cruel machine bent on manipulating its members and commanding unswerving obedience. Film and literature have handed down vivid portrayals of the malign psychological and political effect of party obedience, such as the abomination of Hitler’s Nazi Party or the show trials and persecutions conducted by Communist parties in the Soviet bloc, as dramatized in Arthur Koestler’s Darkness at Noon. More benign social-democratic “mass parties” also engendered widespread disappointment.
But what was problematic was the way in which this justified criticism became allied with a longstanding liberal resentment toward the political party, underpinned by an anti-democratic fear of the organized masses and their demands of democratic control and economic redistribution.
This liberal discourse has a very long history that harks back to the origins of modern democracy. Personalities as different as James Madison, Moisey Ostrogorski, John Stuart Mill, Ralph Waldo Emerson, and Simone Weil vocally criticized the political party. They attacked political parties for subjecting the individual to obedience and uniformity, and argued that rather than serving the general interests of society parties ended up defending the narrow interest of a faction.
Emerson, for example, famously argued that “a sect or a party is an elegant incognito, devised to save a man from the vexation of thinking,” while Christian anarchist Simone Weil wrote that political parties led to a situation in which “instead of thinking, one merely takes sides: for or against. Such a choice replaces the activity of the mind.”
