Story:
Webstripe was the best mentor Weaselpaw and Crowpaw could have ever asked for!
They had never been too fond of their original mentors, Firefeather and Darkfrost. Firefeather was a loud and stupid oaf of a cat, and Darkfrost was nothing more than a spineless coward. And they were both weak, preferring to obsess over their mates and their new kits!
Why did queens deserve so much respect anyways? They were useless! All they did was sit around and pop out kits! Why couldn't they have gotten mentors who actually cared about the Clan?
StarClan must have been listening to their prayers, because soon their wish was granted. Crowpaw was freed first.
Darkfrost's stupid spawn had all been killed by a hawk, and the weakling was so caught up in grief that he was killed in a battle with OceanClan a mere week later. Crowpaw was giddy as is, but then Fennelstar did something right for once in her life and made Webstripe Crowpaw's new mentor.
Weaselpaw and Crowpaw had both wanted Webstripe for their mentor initially--he was independent, dedicated to the Clan, and put she-cats in their place. Crowpaw's dream had finally come true! He was so happy, he didn't even care that Darkfrost's idiotic mate Redflower died in her sleep of a broken heart the next day. They could be happily useless and idiotic in StarClan together, for all Crowpaw cared.
And Weaselpaw didn't have to wait long either, for just a mere moon later, history repeated itself. Firefeather's useless spawn were all killed by a fox, and Firefeather succumbed to grief so bad he was killed in a battle against OceanClan not long after! Weaselpaw was worried about getting another lame mentor, but then brave, noble Webstripe offered to mentor him as well. The brothers were very close, after all, and with the war killing so many cats, they were short on mentors anyways. Webstripe was more than happy to ease the burden of picking a new mentor for Fennelstar.
The brothers were overjoyed to have the same mentor, one they had looked up to since kithood.
They were so happy, they didn't even care that Firefeather's mate Briarclaw died in her sleep of a broken heart the very next day, like her sister Redflower before her.
They were all useless anyways.
Webstripe was the perfect mentor. He was everything Weaselpaw and Crowpaw could have asked for. He made them feel respected and powerful, and validated all of their thoughts on their old mentors.
Real toms didn't have time for she-cats. Only those who focused on themselves were worthy of being true Clan cats.
Those four moons were the best moons of Weaselpaw and Crowpaw's life. Nothing could ruin this for them!
They were proven wrong in the worst way possible one fateful noon-high in Greenleaf, when a soaking wet Sunnyheart strolled into camp, grasping the limp, bloody body of a silvery-white tabby in her jaws.
Webstripe was dead.
Weaselpaw and Crowpaw thought it couldn't get any worse, but then Sunnyheart called a Clan meeting and revealed to the Clan how Webstripe was the one to kill Darkfrost, Redflower, Firefeather, Briarclaw, their kits, and Sunnyheart's own kits--Webstripe's nieces and nephew. She spoke of how jealous Webstripe was of the toms, how much he lusted over the she-cats, how he was so in love with Sunnyheart in particular, so jealous of his own brother, Thistletail, that he killed their kits and almost killed Thistletail too.
Overnight, Webstripe turned from one of the most beloved cats in BushClan, a contender for deputy, into a reviled and hated tom, the butt of every joke. It made Weaselpaw and Crowpaw seethe with anger. It wasn't fair! Why couldn't they see that Webstripe was trying to do the Clan a favor by getting rid of soft hearted-toms and useless queens?
And to rub salt in the wound, Fennelstar made Berrymoon and Hailstrike Weaselpaw and Crowpaw's new mentors. Two she-cats. Did Fennelstar think they were jokes? What was she thinking, making two she-cats their new mentors?
It had to be part of some kind of agenda, to humiliate them for daring to still care about Webstripe!
Weaselpaw and Crowpaw had been mulling over these thoughts when their younger denmates, Bearpaw, Hawkpaw, and Maplepaw, came strolling in like they owned the world. They were laughing and talking about how much of a loser Webstripe was, how they always thought he was a weird loner of a tom.
Weaselpaw and Crowpaw snapped.
Nobody appreciated Webstripe anymore.
They would make them all pay for not appreciating him anymore.
They would show Webstripe that there was someone out there who still appreciated him.
They were surprised they weren't caught, what with how loudly they ripped up the moss and how loudly those weaklings screamed. But not even seeing the siblings' father wail over their cold bodies was enough to satisfy Weaselpaw and Crowpaw. It only made them angrier. There were weaklings still to be removed. And the message hand't gotten through yet.
Berrymoon and Hailstrike had forced Weaselpaw and Crowpaw to go give moss to the elders. They stood their ground, not wanting to be bossed around by she-cats, but relented when they threatened to tell their parents. So they stomped into the den, planning to just drop the moss down and call it a day. The elders could do it themselves, after all. They shouldn't be so lazy just because they were old.
Instead, they stumbled into a conversation between Cloudmane, Juniperleap, Smokefleck, and Adderlight. A conversation about Webstripe.
Smokefleck and Adderlight were calling Webstripe so many awful names, and Cloudmane and Juniperleap were trying to tell them that Webstripe was already getting what he deserved in the Dark Forest. How dare they say that?! Webstripe should be celebrated in StarClan for his deeds! It was them who weren't getting what they deserved!
Thankfully, with how fragile they were, it was much easier to shove the moss down their throats. But the message still wasn't getting through. Their efforts weren't being appreciated at all, least of all by Berrymoon and Hailstrike.
They had the gall to take Weaselpaw and Crowpaw out for solo training and reveal that they knew what they had done, and that they were done putting up with this behavior.
As soon as they finished talking, Berrymoon and Hailstrike were going to tell Fennelstar everything, and Weaselpaw and Crowpaw would never become warriors. In the heat of the moment, Weaselpaw and Crowpaw had to improvise.
But they still pulled it off.
They waited until Berrymoon and Hailstrike had turned their backs to return to camp before leaping at them and sinking their teeth into their necks. It was a move Webstripe had taught them. They hoped they were making him proud.
Unfortunately, Weaselpaw and Crowpaw had forgotten to account for one thing.
Their stupid spoiled brat of a sister, Petalpaw, was taking her warrior exam at the same time as their little "talk" with their "mentors,” and the smell of fresh blood brought her into the clearing just in time for her to catch Weaselpaw and Crowpaw red-pawed.
They thought they could take her down easily, her being a weak little she-cat and all.
Oh, how wrong they were.

Additional Information:
--Submission by @starfalcon555
--From Star: “I had to mess with the timeline of Wesbtripe's story a little to make this work, so now Webstripe's first two litter-victims were born at the same time and killed one moon apart! I also retconed Redflower and Briarclaw to be sisters to make it work - they were the kind of sisters that had to do everything together, including having kits lol.”
--Bearpaw, Hawkpaw, and Maplepaw were all names they originally considered for Weaselpaw, Crowpaw, and Petalpaw, hence them being littermates too. Their father is Sunnyheart's brother, hence why they were so keen to talk shit about Webstripe.
Smokefleck was Darkfrost's father, and Adderlight was Firefeather's mother, hence why they were so keen to talk shit about Webstripe.
Cloudmane and Juniperleap were mates, and they were the parents of Berrymoon and Hailstrike, hence why Berry and Hail were able to figure out so quickly that Weaselpaw and Crowpaw were behind their murders.
--Weaselpaw and Crowpaw were seventeen moons old when they died, their warrior ceremonies being delayed to the constant changes in mentorship as well as them being brats who didn't put in work.
Petalpaw's mentor was Thistletail, and her own warrior ceremony was delayed due to Thistletail's coma causing her to fall behind in training. She wasn't close to Weaselpaw and Crowpaw at all - they bullied her a lot as kits - but she still cared for them and always hoped they would change somehow. She only killed Weaselpaw and Crowpaw out of self-defense (she was trying to use the rock and the branch to shield herself) and she regretted killing them until the day she died.
--Petalpaw’s warrior name isn’t known yet, but she becomes Thistlestar's second deputy after Sunnyheart's passing!
--BITCHES BITCHES BITCHES. You knew once you saw ‘misogynistic’ that they were gonna be SHITFACES.
And you KNOW they’re gonna get their asses handed to them in the DF. That attitude will not fly.

winds of change summary
a summary of all of the events of mudclaw’s graphic novel in order. some details might be missing or slightly inaccurate.
pages 1-3: the clans arriving to the new lake territories and looking over it all in awe.
pages 5 - 10: journey montage
pages 10 - 48: settling in to new territory.  we see some conversations between mudclaw and tallstar, barkface, onewhisker, and crowpaw. we see him starting to take charge of the clan and how he feels about other cats reactions. i have a few pages missing here but it seems mostly the same
pages 48 - 50: mudclaw and tornear eavesdrop on mistyfoot and hawkfrost talking. they discover that hawkfrost is tigerstars son and are shocked.
pages 52 - 67: mudclaw hears about tallstars death and decision and is shocked and hurt and confused. he gets very angry, and barkface goes head to head with him. this scenes kinda sad honestly. mudclaw and tornear are the ones to bring tallstars body back it seems.
pages 68 - 83: windclan starts settling into the new territory and doing some landscaping. onewhisker begins bossing cats about. webfoots here. there is a large amount of tornear development here, and focus on his relationship with mudclaw. its very cute theyre very close and tornear seems to tell some dumb jokes and then they watch the stars together
pages 84 -  90: a windclan cat gets injured and barkface tends to them. it turns out that this was because of a dog attack, and when the dog comes back mudclaw scares it off and barkface flees up a tree for safety.
pages  92 - 101: tensions rise within windclan and arguments are started. mudclaw calls out onewhiskers poor eadership skills and webfoot agrees.  mudclaw fears cats turning on him?
pages 102 - 120: theres a gathering and mudclaw and hawkfrost greet each other briefly. the leaders gather on a stump but theres only room for 3 so they have to take turns up there. onewhisker has a cringe fail moment. during the gathering, 2 foxes attack and mudclaw spots them and he, hawkfrost, and some other cats fight them off.
pages 121 - 127: mudclaw for some reason tries to swim over to the island and fails what are you doing?? hawkfrost is there when mudclaw gives up on his little swim and tells mudclaw about his plan. mudclaw is initially shocked and offended by the idea.
pages 128 - 137: windclan is once again trying to landscape their new territories and everyone is hard at work and the apprentices are missing out on their training. onewhisker instructs mudclaw to take owlpaw and weaselpaw out training so that tornear and webfoot can keep working. onewhisker acts very condescending and mudclaw seems mad. training seems to go badly
pages 138 - 146: mudclaw goes out for a walk and the foxes seem to make a comeback and try to get onewhisker and ashfoot while the two arent paying attention. tornear and mudclaw see this happen, and mudclaw doesnt react. tornear warns onewhisker and ashfoot and then calls mudclaw out for not doing anything about it
pages 147 - 148: hawkfrost gathers a group of cats and is talking to them
page 149: mudclaw seems to make up his mind to rebel against onewhisker bc hes a jerk again
pages 150 - 158: mudclaw and hawkfrost meet at night with the cats that they and gathered and go over their plans.
pages 159 - 180: battle time. for some reason tornear isn’t on mudclaw’s side durng this.
pages 182 - 189: there begins to be lightning and hawkfrost and mudclaws final confrontation happens.
page 190-191: a beautiful double page spread of mudclaws death.
pages 192 - 199: tallstar greets mudclaw in starclan and they have a chat. during this scene, tallstar is sparking the way that starclan cats do but mudclaw is not. tallstar explains that the tree is now a bridge.
pages 200 - 201: tallstar and mudclaw watch as barkface and onewhisker go to the moonpool, assumedly to get onestars nine lives.
pages 202 - 204: onestar drinks from the pool and wakes up in starclan. there he greets mudclaw. i assume due to the previous scene that mudclaws giving him a life but its unclear and page 203 is obscured. they have a chat together and mudclaw gets his final closure and starts sparkling like the other starclan cats. the graphic novel ends with him noticing this and looking awed.

so since the @10leftau generator’s pretty easy to edit (here), i made a tnp version for the great journey, which is here.
let’s go through the results i got!
this is mostly kept to tnp’s events, so i didn’t give millie a description at all. graystripe’s there though. daisy and her kits aren’t listed, but they still join.

family: willowpelt (mother, deceased), whitestorm (father, deceased), sorreltail (half-sister), darkstripe (half-brother, deceased), rainwhisker (half-brother, deceased), sootfur (half-brother, deceased), feathertail (daughter, deceased), stormfur (son, deceased), blossomkit (daughter, not born), briarkit (son (mtf), not born), bumblekit (son, not born)
mates: silverstream (riverclan, deceased), millie (former kittypet, expecting his kits, qpp)
rank: leader
graystripe had been taken by twolegs not long before the great journey took place. with help from his new friend, millie (yes, i will be adding millie), he managed to find his way back to the clans... only to find most of the cats he knew dead. his half-sister was his only remaining kin. he wondered how long thunderclan had gone without a leader, but ignored that thought and took the position. due to not yet having an equivalent to the moonstone, he was unable to receive nine lives or a leader name, but he’s more then determined to lead the clan.
ashfur
family: brindleface (mother, deceased), redtail (father, deceased), runningwind (father, deceased), whitestorm (sire, deceased), ferncloud (sister, deceased), tulipkit (brother, deceased), elderkit (brother, deceased), sandstorm (sister, deceased), cloudtail (foster brother, deceased)
mate: none
rank: deputy
ashfur had already experienced loss many times. from the death of his brothers, elderkit and tulipkit, to the death of his mother, brindleface, he was well acquainted with it. when squirrelpaw, his niece who he was quite close to, came back to the clan with news of new territories, he was ecstatic. his niece larchkit had already died of starvation, and he was hopeful that his sister’s remaining daughter and sons would be safe in the new territory. but nothing went according to plan. even before the journey, hollykit and shrewpaw both died, which brought great pain to ferncloud’s family. but what brought even more pain was the journey itself. birchkit, sandstorm, squirrelpaw, spiderpaw, cloudtail... ferncloud... all of them were dead. once graystripe came back and heard all of this, the choice for deputy was clear.
cinderpelt
family: frostfur (mother, deceased), lionheart (father, deceased), brightheart (sister, deceased), brackenfur (brother, deceased), thornclaw (brother, deceased)
mate: none
rank: medicine cat
her apprentice being taken by twolegs wasn’t enough, it seemed, as now she’d lost her apprentice once and for all. leafpaw had so much potential. but she ignored that. surely one of graystripe and millie’s kits would have the same amount of potential. during the badger attack, she got quite injured, but the clans were much closer to one another due to the pain of the great journey, so she was saved. she was determined to make yellowfang, brightheart, leafpaw, everyone, proud.
sorreltail
family: willowpelt (mother, deceased), whitestorm (father, deceased), rainwhisker (brother, deceased), sootfur (brother, deceased), graystripe (half-brother), darkstripe (half-brother, deceased)
mate: mothwing, had a former crush on brackenfur
rank: warrior
losing her father as a kit was rough, as was losing her mother as an apprentice, but losing most all of her family was terrible. she’d never been close to darkstripe - in fact, her half-brother tried to poison her - but rainwhisker and sootfur were her best friends. graystripe had been taken by twolegs, and it worried sorreltail to no end. what if he was dead? but finally, after seasons of worry, graystripe came back, with a new clanmate in tow, who was pregnant with his kits. with sorreltail’s nieces. and she had mothwing. life was getting better.
SHADOWCLAN
russetfur
family: cinnamon (mother, status unknown), hal (father, deceased), boulder (fraternal brother, deceased), raggedstar (half-brother, deceased), scorchwind (half-brother, deceased)
mate: none
rank: leader
a former kittypet who joined shadowclan with her brother boulder, russetfur was blackstar’s deputy prior to the great journey. during the journey, after seeing her fraternal brother boulder and clan leader blackstar die, she knew that she had to lead shadowclan once they got to their new home. before she could do that, she had to go back for runningnose, she needed a medicine cat. while most of the elders were dead or near dead, runningnose somehow was not, perhaps due to his herbal knowledge. regardless, after staying in the tribe for a bit, the two went to the lake, meeting up with graystripe on the way (dawnflower had been taking care of toadkit) and reforming shadowclan once they arrived.
runningnose
family: lizardstripe (mother, deceased), mudclaw (father, deceased), tangleburr (sister, deceased), deerfoot (brother, deceased), brokenstar (foster brother, deceased)
mate: nightstar (shadowclan, qpp)
rank: medicine cat
runningnose was never confident in his medical abilities. as much as he wanted to be a medicine cat, he couldn’t cure his own running nose, or nightstar’s sudden sickness. however, he was always eager to do good, and hoped that yellowfang was proud up in starclan. when the clans left for the great journey, he wanted to rest, but knew he could not when russetfur came in need of a medicine cat. temporarily staying with the tribe and learning herbal skills from stoneteller, the two left and reformed shadowclan. runningnose just hopes he can do good enough.
toadkit
family: tallpoppy (mother, deceased), dawnflower (foster mother, riverclan), unknown father, applekit (sister, deceased), marshkit (brother, deceased)
mate: n/a
rank: kit (six moons old, awaiting apprenticeship)
toadkit was eager to go on the journey, as were his siblings and crush, birchkit of thunderclan. however, the journey didn’t go so well. it was as if starclan had left them. his mother tallpoppy died first, the journey too tiring for her in her old age. next went applekit, in the darkness of the night. no one knew what happened to her, the cats who’d gone on the first journey presumed that a sharptooth had come, but no one knew for sure. next went marshkit, much like his mother, too tired. it had come full circle, and toadkit hoped that it was over... but it clearly wasn’t, as birchkit died as well, joining his siblings in starclan. by the time they got to the lake, only one of toadkit’s present clanmates was left, and she soon left to find runningnose, leaving dawnflower of riverclan to raise him. awaiting apprenticeship, toadkit just hopes he won’t succumb to the same fate as his mother, siblings and birchkit.
WINDCLAN
ashfoot
family: wrenflight (mother, deceased), stagleap (father, deceased), morningflower (sister, deceased), onewhisker (brother, deceased), crowfeather (son, deceased), eaglekit (son, deceased), downkit (son, deceased), hillkit (daughter, deceased)
mate: deadfoot (windclan, deceased)
rank: leader
having her mate die a few seasons prior to the journey, and all but one of her kits, ashfoot was well acquainted with loss. when her surviving son, crowpaw, came back with promises of a new home, ashfoot was hopeful. but the journey was far more tough then anyone could’ve thought. yes, they knew that a few cats would die, but no one expected the clans to go near extinct. once tallstar died, mudclaw took place as leader, but his time was brief, and without nine lives, he soon died as well, leaving his appointed deputy ashfoot as leader of the remaining windclan cats. as if her siblings and leader dying wasn’t enough, her single surviving kit died as well, leaving her alone. but she had her clan. maybe everything would be fine?
barkface
family: brackenwing (mother, deceased), redclaw (father, deceased), shrewclaw (brother, deceased), thistlepaw (adopted daughter)
mate: none, had a crush on tallstar
rank: medicine cat
apprentice: thistlepaw
barkface had always been a friendly and optimistic cat. when crowpaw came back with news of a new home, most windclan cats were doubtful, but barkface was optimistic, sure that they’d survive. the tragedy that came on the journey couldn’t have been anticipated by anyone. windclan had few cats as is, only having fourteen cats when the journey began, but by the time they arrived at the lake, they only had three: ashfoot, barkface himself, and thistlepaw, whose mentor had died. taking the apprentice as his own, both as an apprentice and as a father, barkface hopes that his clan will thrive, with additions in the other clans hopefully helping out.
thistlepaw
family: whitetail (mother, deceased), onewhisker (father, deceased), weaselpaw (brother, deceased), barkface (adopted father)
mate: none
rank: medicine cat apprentice
mentor: barkface
(as thistlepaw only appears in the allegiances, i had to give her a personality and description; here, she’s a solitary yet energetic black and red classic tortoiseshell she-cat with hazel eyes. i used this generator and a name dictionary!)
thistlepaw had never had very many friends. she was close with her brother, weaselpaw, but windclan didn’t have very many apprentices, or cats in general. thistlepaw thought that the journey would be good, and that she could maybe bond with the other clans’ apprentices, but the death of shadowclan’s smokepaw was seemingly a bad omen. her parents both died, her mentor died, her brother died, all but two of her clanmates did as well... by the time they got to the lake, thistlepaw didn’t want anything more to do with death. her clan needed a medicine cat apprentice anyways, so she did what she must. and now, barkface is like a father to her, and she’s happy.
RIVERCLAN
mothwing
family: sasha (mother, status unknown), tigerstar (father, deceased), tadpole (brother, deceased), hawkfrost (brother, deceased), brambleclaw (half-brother, deceased), tawnypelt (half-sister, deceased)
mate: sorreltail, formerly was dating leafpaw of thunderclan
rank: medicine cat and leader
mothwing had never felt like she belonged in the clans. she didn’t have any parents to go to when life was rough, and most of her clanmates seemed... afraid of her and her brother. was tigerstar really that bad? she and her brother hawkfrost got their warrior names, but something still seemed... off. as if she was doing the wrong thing. she asked mudfur to apprentice her, and once an omen of a moth’s wing was found outside the medicine cat den, she was apprenticed to him. had starclan really put it there, though? when she found it, she swore she saw her brother’s tipped tail right there... regardless, the journey went badly. her mentor died, and she seemed to be left as both medicine cat and leader of her clan. she never wanted this, but at least she has sorreltail.
dawnflower
family: mosspelt (mother, deceased), frogleap (father, deceased), willowkit (half-sister, deceased), minnowkit (daughter, deceased), tumblekit (daughter, deceased), pebblekit (son, deceased)
mate: swallowtail (riverclan, deceased)
rank: queen (nursery helper)
dawnflower had a normal life. born with no siblings, she became a warrior with no real setbacks, and became good friends - and eventually mates - with swallowtail. accidentally mating with an unknown tom, she gave birth to minnowkit, tumblekit and pebblekit not long before the journey took place. her kits died on the thunderpath, not even getting to be apprenticed, and her mate died as well, both devastating her. by the time they got to the lake and all of her kin was dead, she decided that she didn’t want to be a warrior any longer. so much had happened in the past few moons... but dawnflower still had a normal life.
loudbelly
family: ottersplash (mother, deceased), timberfur (father, deceased), sedgecreek (sister, deceased), reedtail (brother, deceased)
mate: none
rank: senior warrior
loudbelly’s parents never really cared for him, as was clear through them naming him loudkit, while his siblings got actual good names. named loudbelly as a warrior, he felt like his life was all a joke, but he ignored it and was happy to get an apprentice in silverpaw. however, not very long after silverpaw was apprenticed to him, they disappeared. loudbelly truly felt like his life was all a joke, and by the time the journey came, he truly wished to just stay in the forest territories, but mothwing insisted he come. so, he did. his leader died. his deputy died. all but two of his clanmates died. and now, loudbelly felt like a bad omen and just wanted to retire. but his clan needed a warrior, so he was that warrior.
jfc that got angsty. o_o
i have lots of ideas for this, including for po3!! since i know most of you are probably wondering, “who’ll be the three if leafpool’s dead?” well, you’ll see!

Warriors World #1: Gorsetail and Beechfur
As requested by @the-apocryphal-one ! If you’d like to hear the stories of cats from my canon, simply request and I will get to them. Hope you enjoy!
Gorsetail is a WindClan she-cat, daughter of Ashfoot and Deadfoot. Gorsekit was born alongside her brother Crowkit and sister Downkit, and were their parent's second litter. After Downkit died due to a case of shivers and spasms, Gorsekit and Crowkit became very close and were WindClan’s signature duo. Being the kits of two WindClan deputies resulted in a lot of pressures and expectations, but Gorsepaw always knew that as long as she had Crowpaw that there was someone who understood her hardships.
Then Crowpaw left. He was WindClan’s Chosen. He had received his own pedestal to stand on that differentiated him from even their parents. It didn’t help that Crowpaw left just before they were to be made warriors. Despite Tallstar’s offer, Gorsepaw kept hope that when Crowpaw returned that things would go back to normal. So she postponed her warrior ceremony and waited. And waited. And waited...
Owlpaw and Weaselpaw began to whisper and make fun of the “oldest apprentice”, and Gorsepaw began to feel more and more alone. When the Twolegs began to destroy the forest, Gorsepaw realized life was too short, and she had to move forward or risk being an apprentice forever in StarClan. She took the name Gorsetail, all the while thinking of her brother who was still gone.
When Crowpaw did return, Gorsetail was ecstatic. As she rushed to greet him though, he walked right past her. His blue eyes were dark and empty, and she watched as he spoke with Tallstar before retiring to his den without a single word to her. It took awhile, but Gorsetail managed to piece things together at his warrior ceremony as her brother took the name Crowfeather, after RiverClan’s Chosen, Feathertail.
Gorsetail continued to try and comfort herself.
“Once this journey all blows over, things will calm down for him and then I can reach out to him again. He’s hurting and I need to respect that.”
StarClan didn’t seem to want that though. WindClan’s leader, Tallstar, was old and passed away just when they had reached their new home. On his deathbed he had requested that Onewhisker be the new leader instead of Mudclaw, and it led to in-fighting between WindClan. Gorsetail helplessly watched as her friends were divided. Despite her friend Nightcloud’s insistence, Gorsetail chose the side Crowfeather was on: Onewhisker’s. She still wanted to return to their old sibling relationship.
And then Crowfeather ran away. He ran away with the ThunderClan medicine cat, Leafpool. Gorsetail couldn’t understand. What had WindClan done wrong? What had she done wrong? Was it because she took her warrior name without him? Or was it the in-fighting within WindClan? What was driving Crowfeather to abandon everything he ever knew? As she helplessly wondered why, Gorsetail watched as her clanmates left to fight the badgers in ThunderClan. Crowfeather may have returned to WindClan, but her brother hadn’t, and she just had to accept that.
Beechfur is a RiverClan tom and former loner. Before joining RiverClan his name had been Benny. Him and his friend Ripple had been living in the Greenleaf Twolegplace for awhile now, and were surprised to see the swarm of cats that suddenly appeared one day. The two had no fighting experience, and with the only option being leave or join the clan, Ripple decided that clan life would be the smarter option. Leopardstar wasn’t too excited with the idea, but Mistyfoot sold her on the idea they needed more cats to defend their new territory. With that, Benny and Ripple took the names Beechpaw and Ripplepaw.
It was rough in RiverClan at first. The cats were friendly and all, but within the first moon Beechpaw got sick from some funky water. When he almost died thanks to it, Beechpaw nearly left if it weren’t for the insistence of Ripplepaw that they’d be safer in RiverClan. So, he stayed. He worked hard and did his best, hoping that eventually this new clan would feel like the home Ripplepaw insisted it could be. Eventually he earned the name Beechfur and Ripplepaw became Rippletail.
Tumblr media
Beechfur had been gazing at GreenLeaf Twolegplace from where he sat on the island at the Gathering. He knew he should be listening to what the other clans were saying, but today had been a rough day so he naturally tuned things out. He yearned to find something to value in clan life, but the only moment he had felt truly happy was receiving his warrior name. He had to admit that he did like it a lot more than a dopey name like Benny. Then a voice spoke.
“I don’t think Benny is a dopey name.”
He hadn’t realized he had been talking aloud. Turning around, Beechfur was surprised to see a gray and white she-cat. She was a WindClan cat based on her smell, and her long legs and short fur also hinted at the fact.
“Well I think Beechfur is a lot better,” he replied.
“Ok, fair enough,” she laughed. She padded over to sit next to him. “I’m Gorsetail. I saw you sitting over here all alone and figured it was better than the mess that’s occurring over there,” she griped, flicking her tail towards the gathering.
Beechfur’s eyes widened as he saw the arguing commencing among WindClan, ThunderClan, and RiverClan. “What’s going on now?” he asked.
“Nothing that I care to partake in,” Gorsetail sighed before giving Beechfur a small smile. “So you use to be a loner?”
While the gathering did wrap us fairly quickly after that, it was enough for Beechfur and Gorsetail to cement a friendship. He immediately found her at the next gathering and finished his story of his life with Ripple and how he nearly died his first week as a RiverClan cat. It got a good laugh out of Gorsetail.
Beechfur couldn’t quite explain it, but something just clicked with Gorsetail. She was sharp, witty, and funny, but also kind and compassionate. She was genuinely interested in his life before RiverClan: something that everyone else had told to put behind him.
Gorsetail couldn’t quite explain it, but something just clicked with Beechfur. He wasn’t the smartest, but he was honest, affectionate, and carefree. He liked to ask questions and conversation flowed naturally, unlike a lot of other toms in WindClan. He was also emotional which was different from what Gorsetail was use to. She liked it though. Beechfur wore his heart on his sleeve and it made it easier to connect with him.
They agreed to meet at Twolegplace and it was love from there. Beechfur admired Gorsetail’s spirit and love for her clan. She told him about her mother who was the deputy, about her father who had made a name for himself despite his disability, and about her brother who had been the Chosen of WindClan when the clans first came here. Beechfur thought she was amazing, but behind that bright-eyed smile he could see her self-doubts.
It took time, and he didn’t push her until she was comfortable, but eventually he listened to Gorsetail. She laid in his fluffy pelt, her thin frame wrapping itself around his chest and tail and she told him all that had happened, and why she couldn’t talk to her brother anymore. He allowed her to cry and say all she needed to say before cleaning her bristling pelt. She had been through so much mentally, and yet still smiled and gave it her all for her clanmates. She really was amazing.
As Gorsetail and Beechfur began to part ways to return to their own camps, the WindClan she-cat stopped and turned back to face Beechfur.
“Thank you for listening to me. I’ve never told any cat how I had been feeling.” She paused, glancing down at her paws before meeting his gaze again. “After so long... it felt nice.”
Beechfur felt his heart rate quicken. She was thanking him? After all she had done for him? The tom paused, realizing Gorsetail had no idea what had happened during their talk. He gulped, and with a deep breath he said it.
“Gorsetail, you’ve shown me that I can do more for RiverClan. You have put your heart out for everyone despite how you have been feeling on the inside. You’re selfless, and I love that about you.”
The gray and white she-cat tensed up. She felt her ear tips grow hot and her tail instinctively lashed with confusion. Was this what she thought it was?
Beechfur straightened himself. “You taught me that I can give more of myself to my clan, and that I need to be selfless in return for all that they’ve given me.” Oh StarClan help him, he thought as he took another breath. His own tail brushed back and forth against the ground. His green eyes were drawn into Gorsetail’s blue pools.
“But before I can be selfless, I want to be selfish one last time,” he muttered. “I love you Gorsetail. I know it’s crazy but I’ve never met another cat whose made my heart beat this fast or get my mind spinning the way it does when I’m with you.”
Gorsetail winced at his words. Not because she didn’t like what he said. Rather, they made her feel very warm. But she couldn’t. She saw how Crowfeather and Leafpool turned out, and her clanmates still treated him with mistrust. Only Nightcloud had given the tom a chance. With a pained expression, she looked up to turn down Beechfur.
But she couldn’t do it. Gorsetail couldn’t deny what she was feeling for him, and knew that no tom in WindClan was like Beechfur. His vulnerability and open-mind made him easy to talk to. Despite knowing him for a short-time, it felt like he knew more about her than any of her clanmates.
“I love you too, Beechfur”
And that’s the story of Gorsetail and Beechfur. I can’t go into the details of their kits quite yet since Power of Twelve is being written, but I will continue their story as more is revealed. I hope you guys enjoyed the first Warriors World!

allegiances - tnp
figured making this its own post could make things easier so here we are. these are the allegiances during tnp for the most part, aside from the addition of graystripe and runningnose. daisy and her kits also aren’t here, i’ll add them once i make the po3 allegiances (which. will only have bios for new cats (the stuff with family, mate(s) and rank’ll still be there though!)).
THUNDERCLAN
graystripe
family: willowpelt (mother, deceased), whitestorm (father, deceased), sorreltail (sister), darkstripe (half-brother, deceased), rainwhisker (brother, deceased), sootfur (brother, deceased), feathertail (daughter, deceased), stormfur (son, deceased), blossomkit (daughter, not born), briarkit (son (mtf), not born), bumblekit (son, not born)
mates: silverstream (riverclan, deceased), millie (former kittypet, expecting his kits, qpp)
rank: leader

thistlepaw had never had very many friends. she was close with her brother, weaselpaw, but windclan didn’t have very many apprentices, or cats in general. thistlepaw thought that the journey would be good, and that she could maybe bond with the other clans’ apprentices, but the death of shadowclan’s smokepaw was seemingly a bad omen. her parents both died, her mentor died, her brother died, all but two of her clanmates did as well… by the time they got to the lake, thistlepaw didn’t want anything more to do with death. her clan needed a medicine cat apprentice anyways, so she did what she must. and now, barkface is like a father to her, and she’s happy.
RIVERCLAN
mothwing
family: sasha (mother, status unknown), tigerstar (father, deceased), tadpole (brother, deceased), hawkfrost (brother, deceased), brambleclaw (half-brother, deceased), tawnypelt (half-sister, deceased)
mate: sorreltail, formerly was dating leafpaw of thunderclan
rank: medicine cat and leader
mothwing had never felt like she belonged in the clans. she didn’t have any parents to go to when life was rough, and most of her clanmates seemed… afraid of her and her brother. was tigerstar really that bad? she and her brother hawkfrost got their warrior names, but something still seemed… off. as if she was doing the wrong thing. she asked mudfur to apprentice her, and once an omen of a moth’s wing was found outside the medicine cat den, she was apprenticed to him. had starclan really put it there, though? when she found it, she swore she saw her brother’s tipped tail right there… regardless, the journey went badly. her mentor died, and she seemed to be left as both medicine cat and leader of her clan. she never wanted this, but at least she has sorreltail.
dawnflower
family: mosspelt (mother, deceased), frogleap (father, deceased), willowkit (half-sister, deceased), minnowkit (daughter, deceased), tumblekit (daughter, deceased), pebblekit (son, deceased), toadkit (took care of him)
mate: swallowtail (riverclan, deceased), unknown mate (the father of her kits)
rank: queen (nursery helper)
dawnflower had a normal life. born with no siblings, she became a warrior with no real setbacks, and became good friends - and eventually mates - with swallowtail. accidentally mating with an unknown tom, she gave birth to minnowkit, tumblekit and pebblekit not long before the journey took place. her kits died on the thunderpath, not even getting to be apprenticed, and her mate died as well, both devastating her. by the time they got to the lake and all of her kin was dead, she decided that she didn’t want to be a warrior any longer. so much had happened in the past few moons… but dawnflower still had a normal life.
loudbelly
family: ottersplash (mother, deceased), timberfur (father, deceased), sedgecreek (sister, deceased), reedtail (brother, deceased)
mate: none
rank: senior warrior
loudbelly’s parents never really cared for him, as was clear through them naming him loudkit, while his siblings got actual good names. named loudbelly as a warrior, he felt like his life was all a joke, but he ignored it and was happy to get an apprentice in silverpaw. however, not very long after silverpaw was apprenticed to him, they disappeared. loudbelly truly felt like his life was all a joke, and by the time the journey came, he truly wished to just stay in the forest territories, but mothwing insisted he come. so, he did. his leader died. his deputy died. all but two of his clanmates died. and now, loudbelly felt like a bad omen and just wanted to retire. but his clan needed a warrior, so he was that warrior.

Also I am taking suggestions for Weaselpaw and Crowpaw's warrior names! They probably get their warrior names a couple moons after arriving in the DF since they were supposed to be warriors MOONS ago
And Petalpaw's too since she is still somewhat important xdd
I just imagine they either go directly to Web for it ("you're the only worthy one here!" / "you're leader of the Streamlands, aren't you?") or go from leader to leader for their names, only to be rejected by all of them
Weaselweb and Crowstripe

This gave me a great idea
Weaselpaw and Crowpaw's names should be after the kinds of webs that spiders are able to spin
Something like... Weaseltangle and Crowfunnel?
Those sound cool lol
+Web's a dumb bitch and doesn't even realize that it connects

Weaselpaw and Crowpaw are genuinely going to be my funniest characters ever
they killed people by shoving moss down their throats and making them choke to death on it
they are such boyfailures
saying "funniest characters ever" followed by a horrific murder method is actually, in itself, very funny thank you

Weaselpaw and Crowpaw entering the DF and seeing Webstripe surrounded by a horde of cats calling him "Dad"
Tumblr media
I like the implication here that Web had 10000 kids between his death and Crow and Weasel's. Which, probably

Weaselpaw and Crowpaw are going to be my funniest characters yet actually
Because not only are they willing to be around Webstripe, but they ended up in the Dark Forest because they wanted to impress him
someone liked Webstripe? Legitamately? Legitamatelltglhyy?

Can you send the cat maker you used for Whistlekit and Sagepool? I'd really love to use it for Weaselpaw and Crowpaw (my upcoming submissions ;3)
