i can't find the original post i made about this, but consider a miraculous x ouran host club crossover

marinette lands a very competitive internship with the Hitachiin fashion brand and gets to go hang out in Japan for the summer!!!

while exploring on her first day, she sees a high end french bakery and goes in out of curiosity

the host club walks in immediately after her

of note: marinette is wearing on her own designs because she wants to Make An Impression and brought all her best dresses and forgot to pack her regular clothes

the hitachiin twins are immediately like: hey wait who are you wearing EYES EMOJI

tamaki figures out she's french after three whole words out of her mouth, and then he interrupts her answer to be like OMG HELLO WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE BOULANGERIE???

between her incredibly bougie review of the chouquettes and the obviously designer clothes, marinette accidentally convinces the host club that she's One of Them. marinette doesn't realize this until AFTER she's agreed to let them show her around town and let slip details like "i have personal beef with chloe bourgeois" (kyouya recognizes the name as the daughter of the mayor of paris / the hitachiin twins know of the famous NYC-based designer) and "i'm dating adrien agreste" (both tamaki and the hitachiin twins know him)

marinette realizes she's accidentally completely misled her new friends and calls kagami in a panic to be like HELP WHAT I DO?? because she doesn't want to make a weird impression on the hitachiin twins when she's going to be working for their mom!!!!!

kagami is like "i'm on my way" but someone very rudely interrupts marinette's video call to be like "is that the tsurugi heir?"

so no, actually, summoning kagami (and known Other Rich Kid felix of graham de vanily fame) doesn't help get her out of the situation. in fact their presence actively makes it worse

felix: don't you have jagged stone's personal number, marinette? marinette: stop.

It's that time again, pokeshippers!

Last year, we announced that the format of Pokeshipping Week - one theme per day - was getting retired. We also said that we'd still put on a celebration of some kind going forward. Well, the time is here, and I'm happy to announce that we are planning a pokeshipping zine...next year!

If you'll forgive the bait-and-switch there, we have seriously talked about doing a zine, but time got away from us this summer. So, while we do hope to tackle that undertaking in 2025, for this year, we're planning what you might call an open Pokeshipping Week!

How does it work, you ask? Simple: over the years, you all have submitted a lot of potential themes for Pokeshipping Week. For every seven that got chosen each year, plenty were left behind. Well, now you can fill November 1 to 7 with art, fics, AMVs, GIFs, graphics, etc., all about our favorite Poke-couple, using any seven you'd like from the unused themes list.

Any and all contributions are welcome, and if they're tagged #pokeshipping week 2024, we'll reblog them here and on the main @pokeshipping blog. Besides Tumblr, we’ll keep our eyes out for the tag on Twitter and DeviantART for artwork, for fanfics on FF.Net and AO3, and for AMVs on YouTube (no NSFW, please).

Max believes that Chloe is dead because she was shot before she was kidnapped but the FBI find her in the graveyard on the edge of death and Max gets shot herself in a standoff with Jefferson.

Version B, where the FBI get called in after a what they believe is a murder spree. Max and Chloe kill a pair of cops and conveniently the dash cam is missing. The FBI slowly uncovers the fact that the Arcadia Bay police are trying to cover up the Prescott’s mess and the girls were just defending themselves.

Both of these are a bit too dark for my tastes, so they won’t be written.

The Wilds crossover; basically Max and Chloe are part of the original experiment due to their past friendship and falling out. I like the idea of Chloe struggling with being the oldest girl there and also trying to stay mad at Max. I’m still crushed about The Wilds being canceled so I won’t be writing this.

The ‘Max and Rachel death match’ AU. Essentially this AU involves Chloe and Max meeting up the summer before Max comes to Blackwell and making up enough that they begin dating. Chloe and Rachel have been an on and off thing for years and had a huge blowout fight, which is the reason Chloe was in Seattle in the first place, but Max (not knowing the full context of what happened) says that Rachel is Chloe’s friend and tells her it’s fine that they make up. Rachel, having a host of issues going on, reacts really badly to possibly loosing Chloe and tries to cheat with Chloe. This ends up blowing up in her face. Max and Rachel then kinda have this low key kind of war for a while before Rachel owns up to her mistakes and apologizes. Not going to write this one because I feel bad about making Rachel a bad guy and I don’t think I could write her struggling in that way well enough to justify it.

‘Baby trap’ AU. Max is coming off a really toxic relationship with Warren when she meets up with Chloe again in their early twenties. They both acknowledge that there is something between them but due to their issues (Max’s toxic relationship and Chloe’s resent struggles with addiction) want to move slow. However this is quickly fucked up by the fact that Max discovered she’s pregnant due to a purposely pieced condom by Warren. This AU is much fluffier than it sounds, as Chloe quickly steps up as being a ‘dad’. I won’t be writing this AU for a similar reason as above, I’d feel bad about making Warren out to be a bad guy. Plus a don’t actually like babies.

The ‘Ryan is Ryan’ AU where Ryan Lucan is also Ryan Caulfield due to time travel shenanigans. I was never able to make this one work very well but the basic idea is that Ryan Lucan has time related powers too but more uncontrollable than Max’s and got stuck in the past when trying to save Gabe. He was unable to travel back to his own time and started a family in the past with Max’s mother. He has come to believe that messing with time is extremely dangerous but when he learns that Max and Chloe are in Haven Springs around the same time that Gabe dies he decides to act. I never got this idea to work despite my liking of it so I won’t be writing it anytime soon.

DAO AU, not to be confused with the DAI AU. Max is mage who gets taken to the tower later in life compared to most while Chloe is something of a modified Ash Warrior. William bred and trained mabari and Chloe has somewhat continued that tradition with something of a tempest flare. Her special interest is in different Kaddis’s and her desire is to expand the war paint, not just to humans but also the effects. Her quest for finding a recipe for a warpaint that prevents the Blight almost kills her— luckily she’s found by the last Gray Wardens in the kingdom who just so happen to include her old friend Max, who got taken along with Surana when Duncan was visiting the tower. Not going to write this one due to it being similar to the DAI AU.

“Beca told me that I need to know two,” Chloe held up two fingers exasperatedly, “spells before I’ve proven myself to join Hexside, and I only know the one.” Gail flipped the page of a book that stood propped against a set of bottles (full of questionable contents) and followed a random sentence with her pointer finger. She squinted, briefly, and hummed a troubled ‘hm’, before she continued to stir in the cooking pot in front of her. No doubt also filled with questionable contents.

Chloe paced around the counter and settled behind said book, which forced Gail to at least acknowledge her. “I need you to secretly teach me another spell, Gail.”

The wooden spoon whirled around once, twice, before it ended on the counter with a loud clack. “Now why would I waste my time on that?”

Chloe perked up, beaming. “Because if you don’t, you will have to teach me the entire summer.”

Gail sighed. Groaned. She turned off the stove with a flick of her wrist and left for the door. “Fine. Follow me.”

Chloe bounced after her with a squeal.

Gail took her to The Knee – a spot where magic overflowed and even a little noob like her human heart should be able to feel it, according to Gail – and much to Chloe’s surprise they weren’t alone. Bundled up in a thick coat and an adorable woolen hat stood Beca Mitchell, wooden wand swinging between clutched fingers as her older friends instructed her in using it.

Gail snapped her fingers repeatedly in front of her face and Chloe finally came back to herself. “Look, kid, if you want this to work out, I need your full attention.”

“Um, yeah,” Chloe said, her eyes drifting from Gail back to Beca’s skilled hands and focused stare. “Totes.”

There was a heavy sigh as Gail pinched the bridge of her nose. “Titan, give me patience. This is going to be a long day.”

I just ran face first into a writer's block about MLB Femslash. I was thinking more on Chloe kissing canon females over crossover. I have never been more disappointed with myself. I want her to kiss Honey and Gogo from BH6. I want her to vacation in Hawaii and have a summer fling with Nani. I want her to flirt like her life depends on it with Colette before Linguini comes into the picture. I want to release the queenbee into her harem of cute girls! RELEASE! THE! QUEEN! BEE!

Ticklish Mermaid Secret

This is my second fic, and some feedback would greatly appreciated.  I know that I switch between first and third person a lot, I just find it easier to write in first person. If you sent in requests, I see them and I will start working on them! I also have some headcanons about the different Mako Mermaid and H2O: Just Add Water characters and cast, and other shows characters and casts, so let me know what you want to see.

I was the youngest cast member of the Mako Mermaids and had been in a few episodes of H2O: Just Add Water.  Since I grew up with the Mako Mermaids cast, and played Rita Santos’s daughter Chloe, I considered them a second family.  When the show ended in 2016, I was very sad and had the cast promise me that we would also stay in touch, and they gave me a moon ring to remember them by. I made a promise that I would wear the ring everyday, whether it be on my fingers (middle or index), or on a necklace. It is true that they would visit me occasionally, but I missed being in Australia filming with everyone.

One day, when I was hanging out alone in my house during summer break, my phone rang, and I picked it up surprised, seeing that it was my agent Maya.

“Hi Y/N!  Are you excited and ready to go?” Maya asked.

“I am excited to hear your voice, but ready to go where exactly?” I asked really confused.

I could hear Maya’s smile in her voice as she answered, “Mako Mermaids got renewed with a crossover from H2O: Just Add Water, that might lead both shows into a movie!”  Maya waited for my reaction and giggled as I screamed.

“When do I leave, does anyone else know that I’m coming, I want to surprise them if they don’t” so many things were spilling out of my mouth, that Maya started laughing.

“You leave tonight, and no, no one in both casts know that you’re coming back,” Maya ended up briefing me, and then I went and packed, and I made sure to wear my ring on my necklace, and then I was off to Australia.

On the plane, I spent my time overthinking seeing the cast again, as I hadn’t seen most of them since I was 14 (or in the case of H2O, when I was 7), watching Netflix, Max (formally HBO Max), listening to music and podcasts, and reading.  When the plane landed, I went to a hotel and started to make a plan on how I would surprise the rest of the cast. 

Since we were meeting in a park at 11:00, I knew that I had to get there before them, and find a place to hide. I ended up taking an Uber from the hotel to the park at 10:00. I was trying to decide whether to hide in a tree or under a bush, when I heard footsteps.  I quickly climbed up the tree, and looked down as my cast mates started getting set up for a picnic.  I desperately wanted to join, but wanted to watch for a few minutes.

When it seemed like everyone was engrossed in talking and catching up with new and old cast mates, I decided that it was time to come down from my tree.  Only problem?  I was forgetting to keep my noises to myself, as I descended, and my cast mates were starting to figure out that something was amiss.

“Eek!” I let out a startled hum as my foot slipped, but I fortunately caught my footing.

“Did you hear something?” Lucy Fry asked Ivy Latimer.

“Nah, it must’ve been the wind," Ivy replied, smiling.

 I had finally made it down the tree, and suddenly feeling really nervous, began to walk as quietly as I could toward the group.  I wanted to speak, but couldn’t find any words, so I tried to have my actions speak for me.  Unfortunately, Isabel Durant saw me, but I quickly put my finger to my mouth.  Instead of saying anything, she turned her attention back to her conversation with Allie Bertram, in which I was relieved.

I decided to come up behind Claire Holt and Phoebe Tonkin, but I forgot that they were on The Originals together, and in a second, I was pinned on my back.  I saw some tiny recognition in Claire’s eyes, as I tried to get my necklace out.

“It’s me, Y/N” I whined.

“Y/N, what are you doing here?” Chai Romruen asked as he helped me up.

“Is it really you?” Indiana Evans asked.  “If it really is you, show us something to prove it”.

“I can prove it”, I said as I took out and showed the cast my necklace.  “Ever since you guys gave me my moon ring as a parting gift on the last day of set, I’ve never taken it off”, I finished as I started to fiddle with it.  “My agent told me that we were getting renewed, and I wanted to surprise you all, but I guess it backfired on me” I added on, shrugging.

“You did surprise us, but we are so happy to see you”, my on-screen mom Kerith Atkinson told me while hugging me.

“You’ve grown so much since I last saw you” Indiana mused.

“Yeah, a lot’s happened, and I’m going to be a senior in college in a few months,” I replied to gasps of awe and shock.

I saw the original mermaids from H2O (Cariba Heine, Claire, Phoebe, and Indiana give each other sly glances, but I was too content talking with Amy Ruffle to pay attention.

“Hey Y/N?”, Cariba sweetly asked, bringing me out of my conversation.  When she was met with my confused face, she continued, “Are you still ticklish?”.

My blood instantly ran cold, and silently cursed Cariba for outing the secret that I had kept from the Mako Mermaid cast for so long.  I gave her a blank stare and tried to move away from the group subtly.

“Based on everyone’s reactions, you haven’t told them, and also the fact that I can see the panic in your eyes confirms that you are, in fact, still ticklish”.

I remembered that running never helped in the past, but decided to try again for old times sake.  To my credit, I got further than I usually do before hands closed around my waist and tackled me to the ground.  I landed on my stomach, and I just laid there, knowing that if I moved, it would give access to my hips and ribs.  Claire stayed by my side and made sure a hand was on my back holding me down, Phoebe held my legs down with help from Cariba, and Indiana held my arms.  I couldn’t see what was behind me, until I felt extra weight on my back and arms.

“Thanks for helping Ivy and Lucy”, Phoebe said with laughter in her voice.

“You’re welcome, and Y/N, this is for all the pranks that you pulled on us and got away scot free with” Gemma Forsyth chuckled.

“You usually fight more Y/N, are you really giving up this easily?” Angus McLaren asked with curiosity.

“I’m just embarrassed,” I mumbled into the grass, blushing.  “Just get it over with please”.

“As you wish”, Indiana slyly said.

Just like that, 80 fingers descended and started tickling my body.  I didn’t realize that my cast mates were positioned near my feet, so as a reflex, I kicked out, and made contact with a stomach.

“Oof, she kicks!” Alex Cubis exclaimed to the original mermaids over my laughter.

“Yeah, we forgot to mention that” Phoebe shouted over me.

“Hahahahaha, whhwhy meeeehhh?!” I laughed out as I squirmed.

“Because you’re the youngest, and we missed out on this for a few years” Cariba answered like it was the most obvious thing in the world.

I was holding out nicely, I thought.  As long as they don’t get to…

“AHHHH” I screamed as Lucy found the spot on the bottom of my back that made me spasm.

“Let’s not kill her yet mates”, the voice of Dominic Deutscher advised.

I took in as many breaths as I could, before I was flipped over onto my back and started up at Isabel, who had a smirk on her face.

“You like this, don’t you?” she asked me, and my face immediately went bright red.

With as much bravery as I could muster, I asked, “no, what are you talking about?”.

“Alright, hold her down for me,” Isabel laughed as she straddled me.  Allie was positioned by my feet with Chai, Amy was by my knees and Gemma was by my thighs, Kerith Atkinson was holding my arms, Linda Ngo was positioned by my hips, and Brittany Byrnes was by my neck.

I was already starting to regret my life choices when their 90 fingers hit their target spot on my body, it felt like my body was short circuiting.  I knew that I had to stop it, but at the same time, I didn’t want this bliss to end.

“AHGAHAGAHAG” I screamed as Kerith honed in on a particularly bad spot on my armpits.

“You know the words to make this end,” Brittany laughed.

I didn’t want to give up easily, but after three minutes I realized that I needed to breathe and tapped on the ground.  

“Sthtop” came out of my mouth weakly, as everyone let me up.

As I caught my breath, I finally spoke up.  “Yes, I do like tickling and being tickled, I was just really embarrassed and I thought that everyone would treat me differently”.

“Aw, Y/N, we would never treat you differently!  You’re like our little sister!” Indiana said, putting her arm around me.

“Now let’s go finish our picnic and get caught up with you” Chai exclaimed.

All in all, it was a fantastic way to bond with my cast mates, and I felt like a huge weight was lifted off my shoulders.  I smiled, happy to know that I could tell my second family anything.

Hi! Ah! My favorite thing: writing about my writing!!! Let's consider a few (why? the answer is What Are the Odds? we already know this):

I don't really think about my one-shots once i post them, but it's always the ones that i wrote on a time constraint (beating a new episode release lol) that are faves of mine: a stupid idea and enduring specifically.

i do love untitled, and i need to finish and post the few remaining chapters for that closure (it's been fOUR YEARS????). It means so much to me bc writing it brought me out of my decade long writing slump, fanfiction slump, and general creative slump, so it does hold such a dear spot in my heart. But also, I wrote it during the season three to four hiatus and sO mUCH was CHANGED. I have lukanette a CHANCE.

i adore reprise and actually hate that i didn't finish it bc of lack of engagement. idk how i wrote like that. idk what i was planning originally for the end. hate that i didn't finish.

i have a drum corps au that i love that i return to every drum corps season (summer) and just add a few pages to. it's so stupidly and thoroughly thought out considering there's like six people in the entire planet who would even be remotely interested in such a niche crossover. (i even have an ask blog for it lol)

my true favorite is definitely wato. i love the fix-it of most of season five, the growth and the ability to criticize parts i think should be criticized (lovesquare, cough) and having Emilie alive and being a very Okay mother is so fun. I love writing Chloe redemption, Luka gets to live his dream as a luthier, and Adrien's path to finding himself again is just. I love it. Plus, I love my oc's that have made appearances (Caleb, El, and Wells, my beloveds).

It's my go-to thinking one when I have the time, and the next like, ten chapters have so much growth for both of the boys and conflict and drama and well deserved smut and happiness i am. so excited to share.

Yes. I’m sure I’ve missed some, but I do try to respond to them all.

6. Fic w/Angstiest Ending.

I think I’d have to say, “Chloe Effed Up.” It’s the only fic I’ve written where Beca and Chloe do not end up together.

7. Happiest ending? 

I am known for happy, fluffy stories, so I can’t pick which of my fics would have the happiest ending. (I do love writing an Epilogue and will (almost) always find a way to have a happy ending.)

8. Do you get hate on fics?

None that I can recall.

9. Do you write smut/what kind?

Not usually; I have written some light smut when I felt it added something to the story (or I got badgered enough and added some to keep readers happy; giving into peer pressure is not usually my forte, but I can be persuaded every once in a while).

10. Do you write crossovers?

I haven’t, but I have used characters from Grey’s Anatomy more than once. 

11. Ever had a fic stolen?

Yes.

12. Ever had a fic translated?

Not that I’m aware of.

13. Ever cowritten a fic?

Yes, several, actually.

14. Favorite ship?

For writing, all Bechloe, all the time. Also, Staubrey. And, I don’t write them, but I have grown a bit fond of Junksen (and I did write a Christmas one-shot where Aubrey and Emily were together).

15. A WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

Nothing that’s been posted. (I do have a couple of fics in a Drafts folder that I started because I got an idea and didn’t want to lose it. I may have to revisit that folder and see if there’s anything there worth working on.)

16. Writing strengths?

I finish every fic I start; nothing is left incomplete. I also feel I’m stronger at writing one-shots than multi-chapter fics.

17. Writing weaknesses?

I use dialog to convey the story because I’m not as good at imagery or descriptive narratives.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in a different language?

I haven’t written too much in a different language, only small parts of conversations, and Google Translate may or may not have been involved. If I actually spoke a different language, I would definitely write something in that language.
