Can I just say I think Romesse is a fascinating ship?

Now I say that, but I’m going to make it clear: I do not ship Romesse.

But even so, I’m just intrigued by the concept. Because it’s basically built on the idea that while Romeo was watching Jesse from afar, he formed some kind of parasocial relationship where he felt like he and Jesse were super close despite that not being the case. Then when he tries to make that relationship real and Jesse doesn’t reciprocate, he basically throws a tantrum and does something akin to “i’m never going to talk to you again!” like a kid would do.

Romeo’s so immature and doesn’t know how to express his emotions in a healthy way, and in the case of Romesse, Jesse becomes the subject of that immaturity. They made him feel bad, so he put the “feeling bad” back on them tenfold.

Like, again, I don’t ship Romesse in the slightest, but I still wish there were more fics of it just to explore their dynamic in a romantic nature (albeit one-sided on Romeo’s part).

If you really squint, Romesse could be seen as similar to Billford from Gravity Falls tbh

Hi! I first wanted to say how much I love the way you've written this visual novel so far. There are a lot of worldbuilding aspects that are subtle enough that they don't feel like they're talking down to the audience, while also being clear enough that it's hard to miss them (ex: color coding the difference between 'I' and 'you' when the mc is being influenced, the way the spores slowly affect the mc's reaction to it the longer they breathe it in feels very natural, etc). Sometimes in vns it feels like it's spelled out in a fashion that's a little too on-the-nose in my opinion, but I love the way you write! Also! I just wanted to stop by and let you know that for whatever reason my brain has decided Mychael has an American southern accent? Maybe it's the kind of working he uses (I think it might have been his usage of the word 'critters' that did it) or the outdoorsy livin' off the land vibe, but it was immediate and now he's just a lil southern gentleman that lives in my head absolutely rent-free and not to be dramatic but I would die for him

Aaa thank you so much!! I don't know why I've always liked writing things indirectly, maybe it's the part of me that's passionate about "show, don't tell" in storytelling. I try my best to convey that.

Also omg, I completely forgot I made him say 'critters' in Day 1,,, I really need to clean up the dialogues in the past Days as the game grows since Mychael's character continues to flesh out further haha! I think him having a little accent is cute!

eddie makes everything weird, like not in a horrific way, but like instead of joining his boyfriends on the couch cuddling like he wants to, he just stares with cow eyes at them from across the room cause hes second, triple, quadtriple guessing himself

buck and tommy are just waiting to see if he'll actually come over by himself this time. especially since they're on his couch

Sometimes I forget how much they’ve changed and how much I’ve improved art-wise from the first compilation page from over a year ago

I know solid petsites are hard to come by nowadays, but does anyone have any recs for ones that aren't as heavily burnout and FOMO based as FR is nowadays?

(Referring to the way fests are set up here. If it wasn't a fest rn I might genuinely consider returning at low effort levels, but at this point fests make me exhausted to even just think about)

Thorn is awesome, and I love that he is a janitor who is op like he is just chilling. I think janitors are one of the most important job irl, too

I loved all the janitors at my work, some of the coolest, kindest people in the world in my opinion. It’s cause in their line of work, sure their at the ‘lowest position’ but their the workers that keep the machine of the business working. And they care for all the little things people don’t think of!
