well, in one of them, I was playing Terraria. nothing weird there, I love that game. I was trying to purify a stretch of land, but no matter how hard I tried, the crimson background stayed. not a single block of crimson grass or crimstone in sight, but the crimson background.

then I walked to the left, and I saw the corruption. I somehow came to the conclusion that the background + music were being caused by the corruption, despite the two not looking/sounding anything alike, and started purifying that too.

in the other dream, my cousin wasn't sure what to do for his halloween costume. I went out, got some green body paint, and helped him paint his face green. maybe he could be a martian or something.

but then I realized that I didn't have a halloween costume either, and the three of us (my cousin, my mom, and me) were supposed to go to some sort of halloween thing that night. whatever it was, it was in 2 hours, but we needed to leave very soon to make it on time. then I started crying.

the weird thing is that I don't usually dream like this. as much as I love Terraria, I find that dream confusing, since I never play on drunk worlds. and my nightmares are usually horror, not stress.

I think part of the reason I find them weird is that they happened in the same night. if I had a weird dream two nights in a row, that'd be only a bit weirder than a single weird dream. but two weird dreams the same night? that's a very significantly weird thing for me

been a while since i last took a snapshot of my floating heart base! have since added/rearranged paintings and also am slowly amassing an army of golden bunnies (+one golden mouse. his name is harold). i actually have more gold bunnies than just this six, but they’re in other buildings for those curious about how long it took to make this thing, i don’t remember! maybe an hour or two? as far as just like, building the heart itself goes. not counting mining all the crimstone to convert into flesh, or adding all the interior decorating

Every boss has a reason they come back enough for multiple challenges.

King Slime is an amalgamation of many slimes trying to consume one victim, and inadvertently trying to eat each other as well, causing the fusion.

Eye of Cthulhu, of course, is a wandering remnant from Moon Lord battles from other maps/worlds. After travelling so often, they lose their Vortex coating and appear as super-sized Wandering Eyes.

The Eater of Worlds is actually much larger than what we see, and can break off into infinite segments of varying sizes, resulting in anything from boss sized worms to Corruptors. Shadow Orbs release gas and Earth-shaking vibrations as warnings to both the player and the Megaworm.

Brain of Cthulhu isn't actually from Cthulhu as suggested. It is summoned much the same way as Eater of Worlds, except the host here is Crimstone. The gas released from Crimson Hearts softens Crimstone, and the flesh gradually drips and fuses to form a brain.

Queen Bee, of course, is the queen bee. Whoever is the largest tends to control the hive, so its not difficult for another big bee to come along.

Skeletron and Wall of Flesh possess NPCs, of course. Though the curse is implied to be removed from the Clothier, both can still be summoned by normal means, because not every curse is broken by simply destroying a voodoo doll.

Mech bosses were built by Mechanics who were previously working under Moon Lord (and sent to die in the Dungeon when they questioned him.)

Plantera is a mutated plant.

Golem is an energized pile of Lihzahrd bricks, basically. Killing him just expells the energy of the Power Cell holding his brick body together.

Duke Fishron is a mutant Pigron of course, adapted to the sea instead of ice caves. Since Pigron are still rare enemies, it's possible a bunch of them adapted to the deep ocean instead.

Lunatic Cultist gets revived by Moon Lord, granting him a false immortality. Mostly at the end of his fight, though, he just warps to Moon Lord.

Celestial Pillars break off from much larger pillars deep in space.

Moon Lord is infinite, his physical body is not tied to this earth.

A question about the chapter cover; how’d you place the crimson heart there? Oh and I look forward for whats to come this comic is so cool

Ah, I was kinda hoping someone would ask that! Since I have the Cheat Sheet mod, I could just use paint tools to copy a crimson heart and paste it into the correct location. That was the easy part, the problem was that crimson hearts always generate with crimstone walls behind them and the paint tools copy the walls as well.

You can’t hammer out the walls because, well, hammers break the heart (and no, clicking on empty background and dragging the cursor over the heart with autoswing doesn’t work). The solution is to try to place a different wall behind the heart. Wall replace deletes the existing wall on the first click and only places the new one on the second, meaning you can effectively use literally any wall as a hammer that doesn’t destroy crimson hearts and shadow orbs! I felt pretty clever when I thought of that...
