Season 1 Summary and Character Introductions

You find yourself in a corn maze, following the sounds of rustling among the corn as you approach an opening. The corn sinks into the ground immediately and almost like a pop-up book, trees and bushes rise from the ground. Their wood is purple and the leaves are black. The only thing familiar is the deep green of the grass on the floor. As you take one more step forward you see a house pop up in the distance and follow the path that takes you there.

Upon walking in, you come across stairs and shelves that tower over you. This was a workshop, and it was busy. Books flew overhead before putting themselves back into their place. Tiny wax men were hauling Potions and herbs up small ladders to higher shelves. The one thing that interested you was the gentle humming in the distance.

As you followed it, you walked through a small hallway to see a woman sweeping and humming to herself. As she noticed you, she smiled and let go of the broom, which continued to sweep itself. You followed her as she lead you to the front desk.

Season 1 Summary

A few years ago, two people went missing. Flora Grimrose and Elodie Ravenswood. To Azrael, Flora was a friend, and Elodie was her sister. To the rest of the party, Ruby Goldcrest, Crimson Valdex, and Manea Grayson, Elodie was also a friend. After they had disappeared, a search was sent out. They looked for over a month, to no avail. A week after they called off the search, they were declared dead. A funeral was held for the two, but none of the party could give up on them. After the funeral, you all met up. You discussed what could have happened to Flora and Elodie. Azreal was the key to this conversation. If there was a pattern in the two's actions, maybe they could find out where their friends were. Azreal notes that they went out together the night they went missing. So, they start from there.

Over the next 5 years, the party found traces of magic. They learned their own spells and began practicing magic in their own ways. Crimson found he could control and help plants grow, Ruby found that her specialty was in time manipulation, Manea sought out answers and realized they could see the future, and all the while Azreal tried to sort out their feelings, they too found they could feel other's emotions. While practicing magic, they found different ways to communicate with Elodie, which gave them hope. They traveled to other dimensions and fought off demons to find their friends. Eventually, they found the perfect spell to take them to Elodie and Flora.

Ruby Goldcrest

Name: Ruby Goldcrest Age: 25 Pronouns: She/They Introduction: Heya, the names Ruby Goldcrest! I like a lot of things like cooking, writing, and reading, just to name a few. I've got cool time powers and stuff! I can't really go forward or backwards but I can pause and slow it down. Not as cool as time travel but I make do. If you were to ask for my opinion on the disappearances, the whole thing kind of messed me up a bit. And by a bit, I mean a lot... Especially after the search was called off and the two were concluded dead. It uhh, took me a while to get back into the swing of things before I continued searching with the others. Player introduction: Haiii !!!! My name's Octave (Tavi, pronounced Tay-Vee, for short) but I'll also accept Neon if we're close online friends. Warning- do not follow me I'm really fucking cringe (by that I mean I'm hyper-fixated on South Park AND Hiveswap) I draw???? I guess??? Like I don't draw actual full pieces often. I also don't know how to talk to people so yeah that's all.

Name: Manea Grayson Age: 24 Pronouns: They/Them Character Introduction: Hi I’m Manea Grayson I enjoy Stargazing, photography, painting, and Acting. My power is that I can see into the future although it has to be at night, under the moon. I'm only able to see it through flames although those around me can’t see it. The closer to a new moon it is the farther I can see into the future I can’t see everything though and I can’t choose what I see but it’s still helpful. My opinion on the disappearances? Well, I don’t really think it’s like those two to just disappear without saying anything to anyone, and especially with how long they’ve been gone it’s really worrying. I miss them and am hoping they're ok. Player introduction: Hello! I’m Dusty the name ‘Dusty’ comes from a bit of an inside joke that just ended up sticking. I like Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, drawing, writing, and just hanging out with my friends and getting into Shananogins. I'm Elodie, your host, and I will be sharing with you the most wonderful and wonderous parts of Wonderland! I'm bilingual since most humans who live in Wonderland speak Spanish. Mic and his family taught me it in the five years I've been waiting for my friends. Not much else to do when you're desperately trying to get back home, am I right? Crimson Valdex

Name: Crimson Valdex Age: 24 Pronouns: He/Him Introduction: Hi! I’m Crimson Valdex. I’m 24 and like to garden. Whether it be Planting Fruits, Vegetables, or just any plant in general! I can understand them, they’re all different in personality, accent, and voice. And they even do things for me if I ask! Also no, I can’t full-on control them it’s like asking someone to do something like “Yo, bro I forgot my keys in my car! Could you go grab them for me please?” even though you’d be locked out of your car they still did it for you because you asked them nicely. My opinion on the Disappearance? Oh, I just think it's odd that Elodie and Flora would just disappear like that, including with zero traces, and if you're asking yeah... I miss them. Player introduction: Greetingz! Im CD. And before you ask yes “CD” as in “Compact Disc”. A reason as to why I chose CD is because I have a CD collection consisting of mainly KoRn. I'm a huge fan of KoRn and genuinely if I had the chance to go to one of their concerts id go, no questions asked.

I made a new blog!

Hey there! I made a new blog solely to share a roleplay that I have been crafting with my friends. It is settled in the wonderfully wonderous land of wonderland (say that 5 times fast). The four main characters have been looking for their two friends that went missing 5 years ago. They had gotten in contact with their friends only a few times since then, which is why they still held out hope. While they journeyed to find their friends they found that magic was real and explored their own special abilities. Then finally, they found the spell that would change everything. The problem is, it takes them to Wonderland. Now they're trapped and have to find a way to get out while dealing with some other problems within the realm.

We haven't posted Chapter One yet, though we posted a summary and meet the characters/cast section so I hope you'll check it out! Here's the blog:

Episode 3 Season 1

Previously, our group was visited by an odd presence that showed them the spell they needed to find Elodie and Flora. They performed the spell and were met with some… odd happenings. The moment they blinked, they found themselves staring at the sky, laying on their backs. Once they sat up, they realized they were surrounded by a field of corn, with only a small path in front of them.

Ruby: Where the hell are we and who grows this much damn corn???

Manea: What the everloving fuck???-

You look at each other and see some things about you have changed. For the most part, it's just your attire. Crimson is wearing a red suit adorned with different flowers and an embroidered rose pattern. Azreal is wearing a black and peach-colored dress with many hearts in the pattern. Her gloves reach up to her shoulders and end in black hearts. Ruby wears a large cape, somewhat resembling a sorcerer that is held together by an analog clock broach. The one who seemed to change the most was Manea. Upon waking up, Manea seemed to yield some more animalistic features, that seem to take after a rabbit. Their overalls had changed color and seemed to have been made anew with the moon patches that covered the old square ones. Manea does not seem to notice this, though their ears seem to be moving around, detecting a lot of noise from the path in front of you. Azreal: Woah what the fuck happened.

Ruby: Well don't we look spiffy!

Azreal: Oh shit, my dress! Oh my lord, I think I'm in love.

Crimson: Woah, I’m looking sharp.

Manea: Oh- well that’s new

Azreal: I have one question how am I supposed to run in this dress?

Ruby: Just hope we don't have to do any running. Also Manea, did you always... uhh... Ruby: Look... Man, this won't come off as rude, will it?

Manea: What now??-

Ruby: You kind of... look like a human and a rabbit made love.. or something.. I probably could've worded that better.

Azreal: Yeah, uhm- you have rabbit ears.

Manea: Oh- well that’s- something I guess.

Azreal: Oooh! Fun facts about rabbits, their ears can turn 180 degrees to sense exactly where any sound is coming from!

Ruby: Coooool! Hey, Manea think you could do that?

Manea: I dunno probably. Manea, you notice a crash coming from the path ahead. It's not enough to hurt your ears, just enough to draw your attention.

Manea: *They look in the direction of the crash* Hey guys- did y’all just hear that crash?!

chapter 2 😌

Episode 2 Season 1

Last time, the group found themselves in a library, studying for the spell they needed to find their missing friends. The group stumbled upon an old book in their quest. After getting over the dust it had collected, the group flipped through and read the spells within the grimoire. The spells were exactly what they had been looking for. Apparently, teleportation spells were harder to find than they had thought.

Crimson: Maybe there's a spell to locate Elodie and Flora?

Ruby: Y’know that is a great idea! What kind of spell would we look for exactly..?

You recall that you have tried many different spells. The only ones that had ever worked remotely close were communication or location spells. Not a single teleportation or portal summoning spell ever brought you to them. What you needed was a spell that wasn't specific to a certain layer of realms, a spell that would take you anywhere. Upon realizing that, the book lit up, and flipped to a very specific page.

You all felt a presence around you radiating from the deck of cards you used to talk to Elodie. You had only been able to talk to her a few times a year and it had been months since you last spoke. Though it was her cards that were radiating power, it was not her aura, though still just as comfortable and welcoming.

The page the book had flipped to was the exact spell you needed.

Ruby: That was... Weird…

Crimson: Agreed... *He would examine the page*

Most of the information of the spell was scratched out or unreadable, though the directions were easy to make out.

1. Make sure all members of the party have the same intent 2. Light candles for each individual 3. Stand in a circle with the candles in hand 4. Think about your intent 5. Picture where/who you want to go to 6. Imagine yourself with them 7. Channel your magic into the candle and blow it out

Crimson: Alright! Everyone, let's find ourselves individually, some candles.

Ruby: *she pulls out 4 candles from her bag* I kinda already have candles! Fresh too! You never know when you've gotta perform a ritual!

Manea: Not even gonna question it at this point-

Crimson: Ruby, why do you have candles, including for this specific intent?

Ruby: I don't know I kinda summon things pretty often…

Crimson: okay then... but hey, at least they’re fresh!!

You make it through to the 7th step and all the lights in the room go out. there is a minute of delay until the lights turn back on and you all exchange looks. The candles had completely melted in your hands, though the wax was only warm. The wax begins to form a circle and all of you feel an outside magic push you into the circle. Gusts of wind make papers and books go flying across the room, though your small circle seems unaffected. You all hold hands at the moment, trying to stay together. Feeling a large surge of magic flow through your bodies, you hear the voice of a mysterious man, his voice sounds as if it is coming through a radio.

???: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome to the stage of Wonderland, Crimson Valdex, Ruby Goldcrest, Azreal Ravenswood, and Manea Grayson! He then spoke to you four. ???: Welcome to Wonderland, my friends. Say hi to Elodie for me.

Your vision goes black for a moment, but you wake up here. The sun is about to set and you don't know how long you've been out. You make sure that all of you are accounted for and make your way through the hallways of corn.

AAAA Chapter 1 lets goooo!!!

Present day and you are so close to finding them. You had concluded that some sort of magic had taken them years ago. You had been traveling around the world to find the perfect magic to get to them. As of today, you were sitting in the dusty, untouched area of a library. Books were sprawled out all over the place and you all could sense that there was some sort of ancient magic here. It was all silent until Ruby tripped over a pile of books, almost sending the entire room into a domino effect.

Ruby: ow…

Crimson: Yikes, you alright?

Manea: You okay?

Ruby: Yeah I'm fine, it's not like I don't trip every day.

Upon Ruby tripping, Azreal notices a floorboard is out of place.

Azreal: Guys, what's up with that floorboard *I point at the said floorboard*

Crimson: *he’d take a pretty close look* Not too sure, let's rip it up.

Azreal: *grabs a random item to help pull it out of the ground*

Once you pull the floorboard up, you all see some sort of grimoire buried in the dirt. Crimson flicks his hand and vines wrap around the tome and bring it out of the dirt, toward the group.

Manea: *Is standing a bit behind the others looking at the object*

Crimson: what even is this..?

Ruby: Woooaaah cool!

Azreal: *reaches for the book* well it looks like an old book, silly

Crimson: *he would take the book and open it making the dust fly up everywhere* Je-*COUGH*-sus *COUGH COUGH* dam- *COUGH*-NnnNn!!! *his eyes would be EXTREMELY watery*

Azreal: *hacking violently* gawd damn

Manea: *They take a step back while waving any dust away from their face* good lord-

Ruby: *gags and coughs* jeez I- *more coughing* I knew these books were dusty- *even more intense coughing* just not this dusty-

Azreal: *starts to laugh at how dumb the group is acting, she continues coughing but starts to choke on literal air from laughing*

Ruby: Man someone really needs to clean up this library.. *she covers her mouth as she reaches for the book*

Crimson: Oh god... Man, this is one old piece of shit.

Azreal: *regains composure* yeah also why the fuck does it have to smell like dog shit???

As you continue flipping through the dusty-ass book, you realize that the grimoire has very specific spells for teleportation and portals. You all shared a look of relief and excitement.
