Criminal Case Inkember 2024

Part 1 : Day 1 to 10

After Inktober 2024, let's get to Criminal Case Inkember, held by @inkembercriminalcase on Instagram ! This time, we have the choice between 2 characters for each Prompt, which I find amazing because this could develop your creativity even more ! You can even do it with both characters, or even others !

Here is the Prompt List :

RULES ! (I gave it to myself to add more "punch" and "difficulty", juts like I did with Inktober, but less rules because it is already centralized into one Fandom) :

No duplicates of characters ! If a character is drawn in a Prompt, I cannot draw this character ever again, even if it somehow fitting for the theme (considering the amount of characters in these games, it should not be difficult).

"15" Classic Drawings, just like Inktober.

Switching between Classic and Minimalist : For example, if Day 1 is Minimalist, Day 2 will be Classic, and so on.

I hc that Sergi definitely did. Cause honestly it a miracle Andrew didn’t get Polio from not getting the needed vaccine.

I also hc that Andrew was allowed to keep in contact with Tammy. Andrew has some idea she did something wrong but he still loves her and still talks to her.

Agreed. It's a good thing Andrew never got seriously sick due to Odette's incompetence!

I could see Andrew and Tammy keeping in touch through letters since the prison might not let a child visit a convicted killer even if Sergei was with him! Andrew will learn more about his mother's murder when he's older and can understand, but for now, he's content with sending letters to Tammy! (Sergei's never bought so many stamps in his life!)

I feel like my headcanon skills have been tested recently with some of the characters being requested… Not that I mind, but I hope I’m doing a good job since I haven't dealt with or focused on some of these characters in a long time!

With that being said, here are my headcanons for Sergei Yablokov!

🏳️‍🌈 A sexuality headcanon

I can see Sergei being bisexual or pansexual. He doesn't strike me as someone who cares about his partner’s gender; instead, he focuses on his partner's personality and other qualities. Sometimes, he feels an attraction to one gender identity over the others, but that’s ultimately never been the deciding factor on whether he chooses to date someone.

🔪 A headcanon relating to fighting/violence

Sergei is a trained fighter and an expert knife thrower. He has an extensive knife collection, from pocket knives to butterfly and hunting knives. He is never unarmed and will defend himself and others if provoked.

💔 An angsty headcanon

The first time Andrew called him “Dad” was when Sergei was tucking him into bed late one night. He knows the boy wasn't aware of him calling Sergei by that title, as Andrew immediately fell asleep afterwards. Sergei cried because while he vowed to care for the boy, he didn’t want to replace Nikolai as his father. Nikolai was more than just his boss; he was his mentor and practically an older brother to Sergei. He never brought the incident up to Andrew to avoid upsetting the boy, but a selfish part of him was happy to be called “Dad.”…

💄 An appearance headcanon

Sergei’s tattoos were designed and created by his cousin, who is a professional tattoo artist. He doesn't trust anyone else to ink his skin. In return for his tattoos, Sergei protects his cousin’s studio, and anyone who tries to mess with them will have to answer to an angry Russian with an endless knife supply.

❤️‍🔥 A romantic headcanon

Since joining the Russian mafia, Sergei has never had a serious relationship. He never had the time or ability to commit to someone that deeply, so most of his relationships were flings or short-lived. That doesn't mean he doesn't want a serious relationship. Sergei would love to have someone to be his other half and fill the void in his heart that he’s had for years. He wishes to one day find someone to love and be happy with and hopes it will happen sooner rather than later.

😺 An animal related headcanon

Sergei loves watching cat videos. Whether it be kittens or senior cats, he could spend hours watching them. His favourite ones are cat videos where they’re doing silly things and videos of them being cute.

😶 A random headcanon

Sergei never planned to have kids. Sure, he doesn't mind them when they’re someone else’s, but to be fully responsible for one? However, when Andrew came into his care as his foster son, Sergei knew he needed to overcome his fears for the boy who had lost so much. Sergei had known Andrew since before the boy was born, and while they were comfortable around each other, they’d never spent extended periods of time together. But through trial and error, the two created a makeshift family together. It wasn't easy, and Sergei knew there would be a lot of challenges to face, but he’s never been a man to back down from a difficult situation and won't abandon Andrew because of his fears of being a father.

Yeah. It's sad that a killer was more caring and motherly towards Andrew than his own mother!

Hopefully, he was given his vaccines ASAP! I like to think Sergei took him for them as one of his first acts as Andrew's faster father since I don't trust Nikolai to have done it himself!
