Elouise would say she's more than happy to be pregnant but at the same time it was hard. She could no longer work at the funeral home due to her not being able to be around the dangerous chemicals. It hurt her soul a little bit, having to let her brothers take care of the mortician work while she was away. Her father had even come out of retirement to make sure she knew that the dead would be taken care of kindly and full of compassion.

Now in her third month, she had found herself getting morning sickness, something that she was scared of when looking up being in the early stages of pregnancy. Elouise was never fond of being sick, of course no one really is. It was just worse on her due to her small frame.

So, she had been laying in bed often or laying on the couch with Viper who had barely left her side since she had become pregnant, very protective of his mother who has raised him since a kitten who was behind the dumpster at the funeral home.

After a long day of being sick, she had gone to bed early with Gilmary by her side, him always taking care of her. Having fallen mostly asleep, she lay still for awhile her breathing calm and steady.

She calls his name from a half slumbered state and crawls closer to him slowly, nuzzling in his side with her right arm draped over his stomach.

"Can I have some of the soup you made, please? And some ice cream?"
