Learning to play guitar

with Larry<3.

characters: Larry Johnson, Sal Fisher, Ashley Campbell

- You were in the basement with Sal, Ash and Larry. Larry just got a new electric guitar and him and Sal were talking about while you were painting Ashs nails. Larry would glance at you from time to time, giving you "strange" looks.

Ash and Sal knew that Larry has fat crush on you since you joined their friend group, they would encourage Larry to tell you how he feels but he didnt want to ruin the friendship you two gad going on so he kept these strange lovey dovey feelings to himself.

Ash noticed that Larry was looking over at you two, more specific, you. "Hey Sal, could you uh come with me to 7/11 to get some drinks?" Ash asked Sal while pointing with ber eyes to Larry and then you aggressively.

"Huh? wh-" Sal started but Ash cut him off by jumping out of her bean bag and grabbing Sals arm. "GREAT, lets go." Ash stated while dragging Sal with her. "what do you two want?" Ash looked over at Larry who was sitting on his bed, and you relaxing in the bean bag. "uhh i dont know, monster sounds fine, whatever flavor i dont care" Larry said while adjusting something on his new guitar. "alright, and you (your name)?" Ash says looking over at you. "oh could you get me (your drink of choice here)".

"got it, lets go Sal." Ash says as she keeps on dragging Sal. "wait Ash!-" Sal says as he was being dragged by the girl.

it was now just you and Larry in his room. You looked over at Larry who was adjusting his new guitar. "so could you explain to me about that guitar?" you asked not really knowing much about guitars.

Larry looked over at you a bit suprised. "uh oh yea sure" he said as you walked kver to his bed and sat down next to him.,

Larry started talking, explaining some stuff to you, you didnt really understand but it fekt nice listening to him talk about something he likes rather than just sitting in awkward silence.

after some more explaining Larry looked at you with a smirk "wanna give ut a shot?"

"huh?" you asked confused a bit, knowing what he meant by that but unsure if he was being for real. "wanna try and play something? its not as hard as it looks, come on ill help you." Larry said as he smiled at you warmly. Now how could you denay an offer like this. It was just the two of you and so of course you wouldnt denay. You were a bit hesitate but you finally spoke up. "you know what? sure, why not" you said laughing a little.

Larry looked at you happy. "great! here." he said as he adjusted the guitar onto you, his fingers cressing a little on your skin, his hands were pretty cold compared to yours.

"alright so, place your fingers on the cords like this..." he said as his arm wrapped around you so he could place your fingers corectly. A little blush peeked onto your face as he was pretty close to you. His touch felt nice and soft but cold. "you got it?" he said, his face close to yours while his brath tickled your ear. "yea.. yea i think i got it."

"great, now give it a try" he said as his arms moved from you and the nice feeling of his skin left yours. You gave it a shot but it didnt sound good at all. Larry laughs a little while you give him a playful glare. "oh shut up" you say jokingly as you nudge him with your elbow. Once he finally stopped Sal and Ash busted through the door. "YOU GUYS WONT BEL-" Ash started but she eas cut off when she saw you two sitting close next to eachother. "Ash why did you s-" Sal started but also quickly stopped talking. They gave eachother a look and Ash smirked.

Larry glared at Ash as she walked into the room with Sal. They both noticed you two were rather a bit red in the face. "here is your drinks." Ash says as she places the bag with drinks onto the table. "oh sweet, thanks Ash" you said as you give Larry his guitar back and walk over to Ash. Sal took his and Larrys drink and walked over to him sitting on the bed next to Larry. "so...did yall make out?" Sal asks quietly taking a sip of his own drink while handing Larry his. "shut up man" Larry say as he jokingly slaps Sal on the back of his head.

Introduction to 🦋

So, I’m the last of the admins for the Twisted Book Club. University life has a chokehold on me recently, but here I am. I’m Cressa and I’m the oldest of the trio—I won’t specify my age. You can call me C or Cress for short! My pronouns are she/her and they/them, but I don’t really mind whatever pronouns you use to refer to me.

I’ve been playing TWST since July, which makes me the admin with the shortest time possible in the fandom. Funny enough, I started playing the game after my birthday. I missed a shot at getting a birthday greeting right off the bat (*insert the pepe crying emote*). I like all the characters in TWST—Sebek included because I just know that boy annoyed a lot of people in the fandom—because of how well-written and in-depth they are. Although, my favorites are Floyd and Malleus. This doesn’t help me at all when my gacha luck is rotten and I’m strictly free-to-play.

I’m okay with writing any genre there is: fluffy, angst, comedy, and a mix of everything else. I usually try to make something original with cliché tropes and other prompts, too. Although, I draw the line at NSFW because I can’t write it and I’m uncomfortable writing it. Like I mentioned before, I’m a university student in a pre-medical program. This means that I’m usually busy, but I try to post something on Saturdays and Sundays whenever I can. My timezone is GMT +8, but I try to follow the CMT timezone just like this page.

With that out of the way, here are some fun facts about me!

Like any other tween in the 2010s, I wrote in Wattpad first. I had a oneshots book that somehow became popular, but I’d rather not go back to it. I dropped Wattpad years ago.

I know four languages, but I could only speak two fluently. I was trying to learn Korean before, but I stopped due to procrastination. I can only read the hangeul characters at this point. The other one? I understood it, but with how off it sounds in my voice, I barely speak it.

I’ve been reading books since I was a kid, and I mostly read fantasy. The only YA novel I genuinely reread is The Hunger Games. I’ll never get tired of it (and I’m Team Peeta all the way even if I’m okay with the idea of Katniss staying single in the end, too).

I’ve played a lot of games that I can’t even list them all here, but I did play Persona 5 Royal, Sonic Mania, Tekken 7, Kingdom Hearts 3, the Ace Attorney trilogy, and more!

Look, I’ve been dipping my toes in a pool of fandoms for years, and I can’t even tell you all of them because I lost track. I’m in the TWST fandom and I’m into anime, games, and a whole lot more. At this point, I’m just a multi-fandom anon who hasn’t taken that plunge yet.

I’ve been writing since I was 10 years old, and I’d like to think that I improved a lot as the years went by.

I, too, am hopelessly in love with Kai, and I cannot even begin to express how fucking valid you are. You get all the headcanons, my friend. In Friendships

He's that friend who messages people out of the blue to check up on them. Like it's been a week since he's heard anything from Cress and that's not normal. Five seconds later he's sending her a reeeeeeeally long text asking if she's okay.

He created a gc with the rest of the crew (excluding Thorne) where they just send random pictures of Thorne doing weird shit.

Is the only person other than Winter and Cinder who has gotten Jacin to genuinely laugh. Spoiler alert, it's because he had the sassiest comeback when President Vargas was being a dick.

Because he's rich--literal emperor--he'll randomly buy gifts for his friends and really anyone he cares about. The other day he bought Winter a really cool sewing kit where all the needles were glittery (but wouldn't get glitter on whatever she's making). And it doesn't even have to be expensive things. He noticed that Scarlet complains about losing hairbands and makes a habit of sending her a pack once a month. Little things like that. He's a giver.

Despite the fact that he likes buying his friends presents, his love language is actually quality time. It's very hard for him to be able to carve out time for others, but that's what he does to show his friends and family he cares about them.

As the Emperor

Goes down as the most beloved emperor in the history of the Eastern Commonwealth. Yall can fight me on this. Because just in canon he's helped to end an international war and plague. NOT TO MENTION the fact that he tried to do this single-handedly (before being kidnapped by Cinder and joining them) by marrying Levana. Did he want to marry her? No! Nor did his people want him to, but he put the good of the nation above his own wants and needs when he was only 18 fucking years old! I could go on and on about this, but I'll stop with this point now...

now post canon Kai? A fucking god, okay?? Let's be honest, Cinder opened his eyes to a lot of problems he didn't know existed before. Kai passes bill after bill after bill reforming cyborg rights.

Hearing about stuff Cinder experienced also got him invested in making sure that foster kids, wards, etc were being better-taken care of. Passes laws protecting children in those situations, doing his best to make sure they're not taken advantage of, abused, used for labor, and so on.

Kai frequently goes out in disguise with Cinder so that they can get a sense of public opinion. It's one thing to read reports and statistics, it's another thing to see those experiences, to witness the needs of his people with his own eyes. As more and more people are getting BSBs implanted, more people notice him on the streets. In New Beijing there becomes this unwritten rule that if you see the emperor and empress wandering around without security and/or in "disguise," you're supposed to pretend that you don't know who they are.

When it comes to his public persona, he's viewed as extremely charismatic I mean, come on, he's prince charming and kind. He's sort of like Obama. No matter where you are on the political spectrum, citizens can admire him because of how well spoken he is.

However, it's well known that he will not stand for bigotry, racism, etc. If someone behaves that way in front of him--whether they're a dignitary, diplomat, reporter, or citizen--he will either shut them down or put them in their place (like I had him do in part 2 of WotE). People know not to fuck with him.

As a Husband

He's also the best husband ever, let's be real here. He's patient and kind, but also willing to have harder conversations when the time calls for it.

We all know how the proposal scene went, but this got me wondering... how long do we think he's been holding onto that ring? SOSN happens about 2 years post Winter, and, knowing what a romantic Kai is, he's probably been holding onto that ring for a good year. He was just patiently waiting for 1) Cinder to be ready 2) her to abdicate and 3) Luna to be well enough off that Cinder didn't have to be there constantly supervising the transition into a republic.

Anyway, onto how he actually is as a husband...

When he can't find Cinder in their suite, the first place he looks for her is the palace garage. Nine times out of 10, that's where she is. If she isn't there, she's either out in the gardens or in her office. Sometimes he'll just stand there and quietly watch her work for a little while. She knows he's there, but never says anything.

Though they're both busy with royal duties, Kai makes a point to carve out at least one night a week where they can just spend time together without any distractions, whether it's sneaking out to roam the city, have dinner together on the balcony, watch a movie on a big sheet hung up between trees in the gardens, etc etc. Unless there's a national emergency that needs immediate attention, no one, not even Iko, is allowed to disturb them for those few hours.

He makes a point to kiss Cinder's metal limbs all the time. Every chance he gets.

He sits on Cinder's lap while they read over documents/laws/bills together. You can fight me on this too. I will die on this hill.

As a Father (In my second gen universe Kaider has two kids so I'm sort of going off that for these hcs)

The most doting father. Will spoil his children rotten while also making sure to raise them to be the best possible versions of themselves.

He and Cinder always tuck their kids into bed. It doesn't matter if they're in the middle of a ball or an important dinner party. They will both drop everything to read a story and then tuck their kids into bed. Even when he's halfway around the world for something, he'll wake up at three am to call Cinder so they can tuck the kids in together.

Kai will take his kids out on father-child dates all the time when they get old enough (around 5-6). Sometimes these father-child dates are with both of the kids and sometimes it's only with one. If it's with one, he makes sure that the other child has alone time with him sometime soon too. As the kids get older and busier, it's harder and harder to do, but it's a tradition that still continues when they're adults. It's only a couple times a year, but he and his children make the time for it.

When they're teens... they have snark wars. Who can politely say the best insult. Cinder is the judge. Winner gets to pick what they watch for family movie night. Kai wins almost every time for the first year, but the first time one of them beats him, he cries tears of joy and hugs them so tight they can barely breathe. "My baby is all grown up! I don't have anything left to teach you." "Dad... I'm fourteen and the heir to the throne. You have a lot to teach me still."
