Geospatial AI | Webinar by Dr. Anupam Sobti
As artificial intelligence becomes popular, it offers an opportunity to tackle more problems – whether it’s information about the historical produce of a farm or the declining condition of a road. In Plaksha's flagship i2i webinar series, Dr. Anupam Sobti shared examples and opportunities where machine learning-based perception systems are being (or could be) used to provide economical and reliable information to the right users at the right time to address many challenges that arise in these socio-technical systems.
He also discussed how these ‘sentients’ could enthuse efficiency in data-driven decision-making for policymakers and operational pipelines.

We put #CreatorsFirst on Google+
A year ago today, Google+ started the Create program. It exists to foster some of the top talent on Google+, connect them together, and allows Google to support their endeavors. I believe that programs like this are vital to any network where users create, share, and connect through content. Google+ Create is vital in helping us show people not just the stuff they're into, but the awesome stuff they're into.
I am incredibly proud to be on this team and am always looking for the next incredible creator. You can apply at https://plus.google.com/create
Happy Birthday Create!
PS. If you want to know more about the Content and Community Management Team does, I wrote up a thorough explanation here: https://plus.google.com/+CarterGibson/posts/JCRV6cPNkSA

Valeria Bressan originally shared:
What makes Create special?
I joined Google+ Create as a proud founding member, not sure about the road ahead, but very excited about the program. I quickly came to realize that this was a very special place, and over the year I have been fortunate to meet many of you, to share ideas and to collaborate with like-minded people.
The first initiative that I collaborated was the Earth Day Celebration (https://goo.gl/VAEDWL) and it was an amazing experience.
I participated in many other initiatives after that, and at one point I collaborated with +Tauno Erik on a poem (https://goo.gl/9tSqLg).
The collaboration with +Tauno Erik was just the first step towards something much bigger…
Over the past few months, Tauno and I have been collaborating on the production of our first book. It has been a long process, full of brainstorming, hard work, and many long nights, but a truly rewarding and lovely experience.
We can’t wait to share more details with all of you. For now, this is just a quick preview on what is coming up. Stay tuned, connect and follow us. We plan to share more as we progress…
Happy anniversary, Create, and thanks Google+ for such an amazing program!
Valeria
