It took a few seconds for this angel to come into focus... . . Gratitude post #11 Dreams . . I’ve been working with my dreams since 1992. Writing them down, drawing them, Painting them, making them into poems and songs, and once in a while sharing them. Also reading about dreamwork, theory, interpretation and other people’s dreams and art & poetry inspired by dreams has been a tremendous gift. . . I believe that because I take them so seriously with attention and honoring, they provide me with much that I need on my spiritual path of growth and transformation. They have a direct line to my soul and send me images and feelings and understanding. They make commentary on my attitude, mistakes, needs, relationships, the future and the past, triumphs, feelings I need to address, they warn me and show me where to focus, or what to avoid. . . The very first dream I wrote down (about a pale green horse filled with music) back 26 years ago I am only now feeling like I completely get! But for a long time now they haven’t been obtuse, they unfold like a letter, I just have to be careful to read with devotion. And gratitude. . . Unlike all the cheesy dream books out there.
