So I've been in a bit of a creative dead zone lately. Having quite a lot of ideas, but creating tangible work has proven difficult. Today I'm pulling out my old plein air setup to see if changing positions might help. Maybe it's about changing things up. I'm hoping these doldrums pass soon and I create something I think is beautiful...because right now all I'm creating is doubt in myself. I know that I will snap out of it, and creativity doesn't work like a switch...at least in my mind I know that. But when it's a blank surface starting back at you, it feels like it's the end of the world.
