How do you even comfortably mod or reshade the games (for years on end) that you don't own locked behind monthly subscription and the game can "expire" any time they feel like they want to spare space on the servers? Ubi - and the article name - so dumb, unless we're globally ending all modding (unlikely). It's just Ubi reaching the height of stupidity. Or maybe that's how they want to quickly erase their previous ACs from consumer's awareness before publishing their next crappy one in a milked "story" franchise that has long since jumped the shark and assassinated all of its characters.

Ubisoft used to be something, now they're a joke chained to AC trademark as they are. If they used their experience to create authentic massive open world experiences with improved/fun gameplay, and interesting narratives, or gameplay loop ala the Witcher 3, but nope... another pseudo-world with some broken AC bullshit thrown into the mix. Great visuals (mostly) but that's all there is, and even combat pales to something like the Witcher 3, nevermind Shadow of War etc. Just wasted potential each title.

Ubi and CreativeAssembly (with their Total War games) are the exact same descent in quality. The one thing they have in common is dumbing things down and unable to improve upon their internal engines in meaningful ways, while bumping up graphics, at least technically, and unnecessarily fiddling with stupid ahistorical fantasy ideas while screaming history and hiring historians, yet still unable to capture even a portion of immersion delivered by a modder out of their own basement.

Cyberpunk 2020 isminde masaüstü rol yapma oyununu esas alan Cyberpunk 2077 için projede yer alan Mike Pondsmith’e, oyun hakkında bazı sorular soruldu. Verdiği röportajda oyunda göreceğimiz sınıflardan bahseden Pondsmith, Cyberpunk 2020’de yer alan Solo, Techie, Rockerboy, Netrunner, Cop, Fixer ve Media karakterlerinin Cyberpunk 2077’de de yer alacağı bilgisini verdi. Inktober 2017. Video Game Horrors! Day 25: “The Alien” from 2014’s “Alien Isolation.” One of the most effective horror games I have ever played, ever… Alien Isolation is dripping with reverence for the original Alien film and is jaw droppingly impressive in its recreation of the late 70s/Syd Mead style of a dingy, lived-in future. When I’m not hiding in fear or running for my life, I spend a lot of time staring at all the details and nuanced theming throughout the levels of the game. Those details set the scene and also drops you into a devastatingly horrific feeling of being alone and defenseless. If you know my scribblings, I draw a lot of aliens. I always feel like I come close but fall short. When inking aliens I always look at the art of Chris Warner and what we could do with light and shadow across those complex details of the alien… ah well.
