I thought this song would fit well with the two members of Creative😊

It’s spirit week at Night Raven College and most of our students aren’t really feeling the spirit. So our headmage came up with the perfect idea to solve this problem.

What better way to lift up people spirits than CHEERLEADERS!

Well that’s too bad! as the headmage made it a requirement for the event. Even the staff have to do it so get on your cheer wear and cheer on your school mates as they face many challenges.

All classes of students respected year for example 1-A vs 1-B, will be going against each other throughout the week to earn points for your class. The winning classes with the most points will get a class trophy and party. A good party Crowley promises isn’t he so kind?

Twisting Your World

TWST fan event!!

A new cultural fair in Twisted Wonderland is approaching and it will consist of a competition between schools, such as NRC, RSA, Noble Bell, etc. The competitors will have to make an artistic performance, such as singing, dancing, acting or even playing instruments, with the theme: History.

Vil and Lilia are representing NRC this time and, inspired to win against the other schools, they had the brilliant idea of recruiting the Ramshackle dorm members to share a little about their history and culture, from the original world they're from.

(pls let's pretend the MC/Yuu remembers!! 😭)

With the information of [Yuu]'s world culture, the characters will make a performance of [Yuu]'s choice and give a show that will certainly make them win!

So, here's the idea:

You'll have to make any type of content (art, fanfic, cards, etc) that has to do with your Yuu's culture and history! You can also choose any culture you want or find interesting, without it necessarily being the same as your Yuu.

It also involves History, so you can make Victorian Era inspired stuff, or Edo Era, or even about the Roman Empire! Anything you can think of.

All the characters from NRC of your choice will be involved in this event. You can draw or imagine them being included in the culture you have chosen!

It doesn't have to be 100% historically accurate! You can just pick a random aspect of the culture and let your creativity flow.

Here are some designs I made of my Yuus as examples:

Miyuu is dressed as a gladiator, since she's of Italian descent. Ameyuki is Japanese, and I took the freedom to draw some attires that I think would suit her.

I imagined my Yuus would do something like a theatrical performance, with the help of the Film Research Club!

Don't worry about the outfits! They can be however you want, as long as they follow the theme.

You picked a good time to ask - I'm in the middle of writing so the creative juices (and whisky) are flowing.

16. Letter from Rook to their love interest (NeveXGreyWardenRook)

Let's pick the context of Rook having to go on a mission to clear out some of the Blight that remained post-game.

Neve,

I've never been one for cities. Growing up in the countryside surrounded by nothing but fields and gardens makes you used to isolation and open expanses of land. Being a Grey Warden for a decade makes you used to camaraderie and wary of crowds and strangers.

I've never really liked the rain. It's never been more than an inconvenience - nothing more than a sign I'd have to re-grease my armour and carefully place my socks over the fire so they'd dry out before morning.

Even so, I can't help but miss Minrathous. It's energy, the people, the streets and towering buildings, the views across the docks and the never-ending rain. I never could have imagined I'd find myself living in such a place. More than that, I never could have imagined myself happy living in such a place. Yet, out here, in places where the views go on for miles and the sun shines on Davrin, Assan and I as we clear out the remainder of the same Blight I've been fighting for my entire adult life, I can't help but find myself yearning for it.

You're the best detective in Thedas, so I won't bore you by explaining the obvious reason why I wish to come home.

But, Maker, do I miss you.

You'd never believe it, but out here in the middle of nowhere, Davrin actually makes a coffee worse than you. He tries his best, but it's hard to control the temperature of water over a campfire. And while it's nice to see the stars at night, they're hard to enjoy when I don't have you following the point of my finger when I name every constellation I can remember.

You'll be glad to know that Assan is at least happy. Unlike the city, or the Fade there are snacks everywhere for a growing griffon. You'd be amazed to see how big he's getting. We might have to widen the doors of your apartment when I get back if you want to have him stay over.

There are moments of lonliness out here that I've never experienced before, even with Davrin and Assan by my side. I haven't been injured much (please don't worry for me, a few months on the road and all the weight gained from Lucanis' food has turned to muscle), but Davrin doesn't hold a candle to you as a healer. In the moments where I'm getting a wound wrapped, I feel you here with me sometimes. Your soft hands, your warm voice chastising me for not dodging quickly enough.

Still, the new scars are worth the work we're doing out here. You'd be so proud to see what we've accomplished. Killing Darkspawn isn't all being on our own in the middle of nowhere. We've been to new places, new towns and met some incredible people. The Blight is much more complex than it seems - it worms its way into their lives in ways you can't imagine unless you've been in our position. Without the Gods to command it, it's not quite as brutal, but its effects still persist. But because of the work we've done, people are alive - their houses still stand, they've rallied together as communities and its incredible to see. I understand how you must feel helping people with Rana.

How is the new Detective Agency going? I can only imagine how you and Rana are getting on each other's nerves, but I'm sure you're doing fantastic work.

There are only a few more villages assigned to us to clear out. Once they're done, Davrin and I are thinking about hanging up our swords. With the Taint removed from our blood after killing Elgar'nan, and with the Blight mostly dealt with, there's nothing left for us out here. Minrathous Murders and Monsters has a good chance of going ahead!

I never imagined my life as anything more than doing my duty as a Warden and eventually succumbing to the Blight, but I have a real chance at a life now. I'd love nothing more than to spend it at your side.

Here is their story:

My family consists of eight people: my father, my mother, four daughters, and two sons.

My father, Jamal Shamia, is currently in Gaza, and his home was destroyed at the beginning of the war. We have lost security and peace. We have witnessed how a single rocket can destroy your entire life, both your past and your future. Our dreams have been shattered. Now the future is unknown and dark. There is no home, no basic life essentials, no job. We are now seeking to leave this country for a life abroad and to obtain security. We estimate our loss to be at least $50,000 to rebuild a home and start our lives anew.

My mother left Gaza before the war for surgery in Egypt and is now stranded on the Egyptian side without any means of support.

The daughters (Rasha, Maram, Rana, Reem):

- Rasha Jamal Shamia and her husband Khalil Abu Samaan have two children, Mira Abu Samaan and Omar Abu Samaan. They are now in Gaza and have left their home and all their belongings in Gaza City to move to Rafah, but they cannot return to their home due to the occupation forces' siege of the northern areas. They are now in tents and have lost their children's future in terms of education and the opportunity for a decent life.

- Rana Jamal Shamia and her husband Mohammed Salama have two children, Amir Salama and Taim Salama. They are also in Gaza and lost their home after the occupation forces bombed their house, and they suffered direct injuries. They also lost their children's future and are now internally displaced persons in Rafah City after their house was demolished. They still suffer from the damage they and their children witnessed.

- Reem Jamal Shamia is residing outside Gaza and has not seen her family for some time.

- Maram Jamal Shamia and her husband Mareed Al-Suwirki are now outside Gaza. They were evacuated along with their children and husband from Gaza. Maram's family has suffered greatly during their time in Gaza, and their home was destroyed. They lost many of their belongings. Her husband is a dentist and also lost his job.

Two of the sons (Mohammad, Ahmad):

-Ahmad Jamal Shamia resides in Gaza and is a third-year student in dental school. He lost his education due to the devastating war in Gaza. He was studying at Al-Azhar University in Gaza, and his home was destroyed in the war. He is currently suffering from moving from one temporary shelter to another. Ahmad was a diligent, ambitious, and creative student who ranked first in his class. He didn't limit himself to what he learned in university. He attended courses and workshops online with Egyptian doctors to learn more and excel in his field. He always sought excellence and worked hard for it, and he loved helping all students.

He now needs money to continue his education, which will cost him a lot of money since he will complete his studies in Egypt.

-I, Mohammad Jamal Shamia, currently residing in Sweden, am orchestrating a fundraising effort aimed at providing assistance to my immediate family and siblings. The funds collected will be allocated towards facilitating their departure from Gaza, with coordination managed through Hala Travel Agency, and remittance to Egypt via established channels. The required contribution stands at $5000 per adult, with a reduced amount of $2500 designated for children.

My family is living in extreme danger due to the brutal bombing of their city. There are daily explosions and attacks. The city is no longer safe for them. My family has been unable to work for five months due to the war, and they are living on minimal food and water while constantly suffering from fear and shock from the attacks around them. Many in the family have medical needs, and their lives are at risk every moment. Prices have risen in Gaza, and they struggle daily to meet their basic needs.

The family is requesting help to cross the border into Egypt so they can begin rebuilding their lives. Time is of the essence! Help us transport them across the border to Egypt so we know they are safe from the increasing and indiscriminate attacks.

Today's petty problem is how dull a few of the high-powered ruling figures get with their titles of office.

Demon Lords is okay and rolls off my tongue well, and it's grandfathered in at this point; I couldn't change it if I wanted to. Empyreal Lords is fine, though I wish there was a little more creativity when differentiating between the different celestial Outsiders ("Authority" for lordly Archons, for example). I'm fine with Archdevils, I suppose.

There's standout cases among even smaller demigods as well; "Primal Inevitable" works alright though I would have preferred something a little blockier but more fitting, such as "First Iteration." I adore "Demagogues" and "Harbingers," and all the lesser fiends getting Daimyo, Tormentors, Immortals, and Ranas appeals to me...

But anything that's just "X Lord" bugs me. It's why I changed Protean Lords to Protean Cantors. I'm also personally going to refer to the Qlippoth Lords as the Qlippoth Primordials from here on out... But the biggest problem, and the reason I made this post at all, is that I hate the term "Nascent Demon Lord." It's chunky, it's unappealing, it doesn't roll off the tongue at all, and it's uncreative! It's just a regular, plain statement of what they are! But I don't know what to use to replace it! Any suggestions?

Dopamine week 2 - day 5 - fanfic recommendation

It is a surprising story which I am not going to spoil but I enjoyed it a lot.

Beside her Starseeker au which is an incredible creative new interpretation of the games events there are also lots of oneshots that just like Psychologically Warfare allows us to witness a very specific moment in the life of her characters - like RT Rana and Calligos in Shot in the Dark or RT Aylin and Heinrix in One boring day.

From teen to explicit rating, different kind of pairings (RT x Heinrix, RT x Argenta, RT x Calligos, RT x Kunrad…) there is something there for everyone and her stories are like filled chocolates - you might not know what is inside but you will most certainly enjoy it very much.

Hello, I’m Yurena Lovelace. I’m 17 years old, and a senior in high school. Where my story starts, it was the last few months of school. My friend’s birthday was coming up, and I had been anxiously waiting for any college acceptance letters. I had applied for probably 100 schools, and at that point I had been rejected by 27. 

I was minding my own business, wandering around the library, when suddenly a book had fallen on my head. I briefly searched around to see who had done that to maybe yell at them, but I found no one.

“Might as well see what it’s about…” I whispered to myself, looking down at the book that had fallen on my head. I quickly skimmed through the contents of the book, but there was barely anything of note. That is, until I came across a page that read, “A magical mirror that can take you to other worlds!” 

“How strange…” I thought to myself before quickly snapping a picture of the page out of curiosity. I was sure if I was gonna share it with my friends they would just make fun of me. We didn’t have many interests in common, but we had been friends since we were little. 

I heard a quiet ping and quickly put together that I received a text. “Look what came in the mail!!!” My mother had texted me, sending a picture of a letter from a college. 

The name of the college was blocked by her hand, but I was excited nonetheless. I quickly packed up my things, sending a text to my friends’ group chat about a college letter coming in the mail.

I walked back home with a sort of pep in my step, hoping it was an acceptance letter from our state college. Allegra and Kate had both gotten accepted there, and I didn’t want to have to move away and end up losing touch. They were the only friends I had, and there was no way I was going to give them up that easily. 

Unfortunately, both of my parents had gone to work by the time I got home. It was maybe six or seven, and my younger siblings were probably at my aunt’s house. I had always felt bad whenever I got home late, because my parents would always get on me about how I need to be responsible and take care of my siblings. But now, I would give the world to see them again. 

I dropped my bag and grabbed a snack before reading through the letter my mother was so excited about.

“Congratulations! We are happy to inform you of your acceptance into ___.” My eyes widened as I read through the letter I had received. The college I got accepted into is all the way across the country. I frantically reread it to make sure I had read it correctly and promptly dropped down onto the floor. My mother had made me apply there because of its prestige, but I didn’t actually think I’d actually get in. 

My hands were shaking as I tightly grabbed the letter. It’s not like I could turn them down, it’s one of the best colleges in the country! But, my only friends would end up being hours away. I couldn’t ever stand to lose them, they were everything I had. I decided to take a walk to clear my head. 

“I’m not actually going to accept it, right?” I thought to myself, shoving my hands in my pockets. I absentmindedly passed by the local thrift store and noticed a very familiar mirror in the window. 

I pulled up the picture that I had taken from the book and held it up side-by-side to the mirror. Before I could even think, I had taken a picture and sent it to Allegra. I texted her saying, “Look at this mirror and all the raven decals! Wouldn’t it be funny if we got it for Kate for her birthday, since she’s scared of birds?” I figured that with that wording I could convince her to get it. 

“If this is real… Then I’d never have to lose Allegra and Kate. We could go on adventures forever and never have to part.” I thought to myself. It seemed like a good idea at the time, I swear. 

I quickly received a text from Allegra that was just a laughing face emoji, and soon enough Allegra and Katherine were by my side standing in front of the thrift store. Allegra somehow convinced Kate to steal the mirror after realizing she didn’t have money. We very suspiciously left the shop with the mirror in Kate’s coat. I could see the cashier give us a strange look, but I don’t think they got paid enough to care. 

We walked for a few blocks before Allegra took the mirror out of Kate’s coat. Allegra was playing around with it, acting like she was a supermodel. Kate let out an anxious chuckle before whisper-shouting, “We’re gonna get it trouble! Don’t break it!!” 

Kate quickly took the mirror out of Allegra’s hands and inspected the decor. “Why did you guys want to get this? It’s just a creepy, clouded up, mirror.” She complained, rubbing the glass with her jacket to see if it would help clear it up. “You guys know I’m scared of birds too…”

Kate was barely able to get her sentence out before the mirror started playing a few notes and glowing. I was leaning over her shoulder, trying and failing to hide my excitement. I wasn’t even able to notice their horrified faces as we were sucked into the mirror.

When I woke up, I found myself standing up inside a strangely comfortable coffin and I could hear someone talking outside. 

“I better hurry up and find that uniform before someone spots me…” The voice said in a frantic tone of voice. “Urgggh… This lid weighs a ton! Try this on for size Mya-ha!” Was the last thing I heard before my eyes got assaulted by a sudden burst of light. When my vision finally adjusted, I saw fire all around me. 

The voice I heard apparently belonged to a small, talking, weasel-like creature. “What?! You ain’t supposed to be awake!” The small creature cried out.

Thought it would be fun to do an intro post for each of the three households I'll be rotating through in my historic sims file. Also told my buddy @schitzophrenicrainbows I would make one of these. It'll also help me keep things organized as I play the challenge since I'm committing details to writing.

Up first and beneath the cut, we have a little history dump and our Gladiators.

Gladiators initially started out as poorer people and slaves who were inscribed to fight and train in the gladiator schools, Ludus Magnus. Over time as people began to see the fame and honor that could be won in the arena, though it was more rare, people did start to voluntarily join these gladiator schools.

Due to the popularity of gladiator fights, and how pricey it got to train and house them, not every single gladiator fight was to the death for its contestants. (For the purpose of Finn's story/challenge rules, his fights will be.)

There's debate whether the infamous "thumbs down" actually meant the opponent HAD to die or not. It could have just meant they were disgraced and couldn't compete anymore, but I can't find definitive answers one way or the other, and the opinions I found on this often contradicted each other. (I could probably text my sister with three degrees all about ancient to medieval Italian/Roman history, but how do I explain to her I need to know for my Sims game lmaooo) All that said, gladiators often didn't live past their mid-twenties given the hazards of the job.

Gladiators were also sex symbols (do yourself a favor and look up ancient Roman graffiti. Humans are the same now as they were then lmao). Idk how much that'll play into my game but Finn does have to find a partner and have kids so the legacy continues but we'll get there when we get there.

Rana

Rana is the gladiator who has been at the Ludus Magna the longest. Her traits: Creative, Self Assured, Loyal.

She came from a wealthy merchant family, but the family business didn't interest her much. She left home when she was young to find herself and ended up finding the arena. She picked up sword fighting quickly and proved her aptitude for not only fighting, but teaching others to fight as well. These days she only competes occasionally, as she has proven herself invaluable in creating more gladiators.

She's hitting a point where the losses of her pupils, and more importantly friends, are starting to weigh on her. She likely isn't going to just be allowed to retire, though, so she has to figure something else out.

Apollo

Apollo named himself after a Greek God because he thinks he's hilarious. (This is debatable if you ask anyone who has spoken with him for more than five minutes.) He ended up at the Ludus Magnus due to his sense of humor; turns out a Senator doesn't like it when you make jokes about their philosophical ideas, even if they are stupid.

He doesn't enjoy the gladiator lifestyle much if he's being honest, and is counting down the days until his "voluntary" contract with the school is over so he can use what money he's won and travel the world like he's always wanted to. His self absorption is part him being young, and part it being a front for the fear he has of not living out his dreams and he wears it like a protective front. His friends know better, though.

(He also thinks Spartacus is cute, but he's certain Spartacus is going to stay a gladiator till he dies and that doesn't work with what he wants in the long run.)

His traits are: Loves the Outdoors, Self Absorbed, and Outgoing.

Spartacus

Disclaimer: I did not make Spartacus lmao. I was hitting create-a-sim burnout so I hit up the gallery to find someone else's Roman themed sim. Although I did make some minor changes to his wardrobe, added scars and swapped out a couple of his traits, which are: Athletic, Proper, Loner. I ended up keeping his name because while it's on the nose for a gladiator, it fits.

Spartacus is a former member of the Roman Legionnaires. He was released from his service due to an injury he sustained abroad. Once he had healed, he found civilian life to be difficult to adjust to, so he signed a contract with the Ludus Magnus. He's here for a good time, not a long time.

But lately, he's been spending more time with Apollo, and he's starting to change his mind. But surely someone as handsome as Apollo wouldn't be interested in someone who'd rather spend his time meditating than socializing at a party...

Finn

Finn's traits are: Athletic, Loyal, Ambitious

Finn knew the risks he was taking when he killed Antonius, but he doesn't regret it. He's now plotting his escape, and if his new found friends can survive, he'll bring them with him if they like. He really just wants to get back to Britain to what's left of his family and help them take back what is rightfully theirs and drive the Romans out.

By challenge rules, he has 10 fights to get through first. I also have to receive a silver medal or higher on at least 50 events, and I'll probably use his fights to accomplish at least 10 of those. (I've done six so far).

Will probably go over Laelius' household next along with the parts of the challenge they'll be completing, followed by his daughter's. Who I don't think I've posted so far.
