🧿After being stuck in an almost 4-year long art block, I'm attempting the challenge of illustrating 100 of my favorite Vocaloid songs to break said block. I was heavily inspired by the wonderful Taranto Yakima , as she illustrated 100 of her favorite Miku songs and not only succeded, but she is now doing bonus illustrations! such tenacity!

🧿 Owata-p! One of the biggest Vocaloid veterans! With an unexpected addition to his benzene series! always assumed that the series had come to an end with toluene, and yet here we are. I know, it doesn't look like an addition to that series but every part of the series shows a little blurb in the video explaining how the chemical is related to the benzene chemical compound, and so does this one. The Benzene series has always meant a lot to me when it comes to really teaching myself self-examination and reflection. This one is no different, it feels like it's more pointed to the more recent state of affairs caused by the online space. The sugar-coating and escapism that is caused by the internet to avoid how bad things are becoming today. It is understandable, yet the song points out that it could become a self-fulfilling cycle if this continues without examination and efforts to fix it!

I made a video using the characters from "Creative", which was remade by Ghost and Pals! "It takes 3 minutes to listen to a 3-minute song" by Garuna (Owata P)!

I thought this song would fit well with the two members of Creative😊

I plan to post it on YouTube on August 9th of this year.

Song 238 is: Paradicholorobenzene (Destructive-type Brainwashing Song) by OwataP

One of the most popular Kagamine Len songs, as well as OwataP's most popular work, Paradicholorobenzene is aptly named "Brainwashing song" as it is quite catchy and memorable. Len sings about finding his purpose in life, desiring to uphold justice against evil, but what is justice? In the end he doesn't figure it out, as he is compelled to keep singing and dancing the song that won't leave him. The song and its story is connected to the song Anticholorobenzene, also by OwataP but sung by Kagamine Rin. The memetic factor of the song seems to work as 76.3% of all voters recalled hearing it previously!

so... Are we not going to talk about how predatory OWATAP's "Rin-chan now " song is. TW FOR PREDATORY TOPICS

"Rin-chan now!" Is a vocaloid song sung by Luka and Miku. Luka is canonically 20, Miku is canonically 16... and Rin is canonically 14. The song is basically about Luka and Miku singing about their fantasies with Rin while bombarding Rin's twitter constantly with the words "Rin-chan now!" Luka, in this song recognizes Rin is a child by saying something along the lines of "even though Rin isn't allowed to work part time (jobs), I want to find her working at a maid cafe. I wanna watch her feel awkward." MOST of their fantasies are about humiliating Rin, for example Miku explains she wants to feel bad for forcing Ron to use pink plates if Ron suddenly wakes up and is older. Luka explains how she wants to force Rin to wear Luka's outfits for a show and stare at Rin's flat chest because it looks unusual in Luka's outfits, then Luka says she will comfort Rin as Rin tries to cry out of embarrassment as she tries to go change.

Something concerning is that this song is on project sekai, the mobile Hatsune Miku game which all ages play, especially children. Looking through the comments of the music video I saw at least one person pointing out how perverted the creator is, but that's all I saw, the rest were kind of praising the video. Miku and Luka are basically harassing Rin, a 14 year old on Twitter or a platform like it while Rin is confused.

I would like to hear everyone's opinions on this, I am American and I know Japanese culture can be different.
