Such a stunning succulent! The flowers are just out of this world, not just the bright colors, but the texture and shape.

Do you grow this baby?

As with many succulents, they like lots of sun and love to let their soil dry in between watering sessions. Mine are potted on the ground and get full sun and foggy mornings & evenings.

This exotic beauty is Crassula falcata, commonly called the “propeller plant” due to the shape of its leaves.  This potted plant is several years old and will usually bloom more than once a year.  Here is its latest blast of color.  The crassula family is huge, diverse and widely available, providing gardeners an amazing selection of plants.  Most are very easy to maintain and are drought resistant.  Yesterday we reached 107F, today we’re currently at 105 with time to still beat yesterday’s record heat.  Yet while my roses have turned into balls of corn flakes, these flowers still remain fresh and unscathed.  Amazing!

Gorgeous Crassula Folcata, also know as propeller or airplane plant. It’s definitely too leggy, but I’ll wait until the flowers dies to correct it.

Crassula Falcata (Propeller Plant)

This flower has always amazed me. The colors, the tone and shape, all blows your mind!

The second picture is a second propeller plant I have, it is still working on the red colors slowly. 😂

This succulent loves:

✓ Full sun

✓ Water throughly, but only have let them dry well I'm between.

✓ I add coffee grounds (nitrogen spark) in spring.

✓I also add smart release fertilizer in spring.
