just got home from meeting up with my best ofmd friend (and one of my best friends overall, tbh) kira, we had such a nice time, got coffee at a little cafe and then walked across the street to the farmer's market and bought fudge, which i am stoned and eating right now 😂 met her parents and saw her brother again, too

i don't really DO stuff outside of the house for fun more than a couple times a year, and most of the time when i DO go out for leisure i end up not enjoying it and just wanting to go home, and then hating myself when i get home because of how i acted at the function, but hanging out with her never feels like that and it's just like. idk there aren't a lot of ppl i can say that about, rly only my gf and like, my brother?? idk im just rly glad that we were both on twitter and she liked my sims enough to initiate a conversation with me, and kept at it despite me being BAD at small talk and the initial stages of friendship, and that was all because we both liked ofmd!!! i love this show and what it's brought me!! 😤

I love when it comes time to trade out the space heater for the ac unit. I love my dark, cool environment. Like a snake going into a shady spot or a duck floating on the water to regulate their body temperatures. I am a happy little duck, floating on the cool water. I am so cozy now

"At the University of Maine, one of the world’s largest 3D printers is using sawdust from the state’s lumber industry to 3D print cozy wooden cabins.

It’s part of a move towards making 3D printing faster and more sustainable in a state where the housing shortage that has metastasized in most states around the country is dire.

It’s thought that 80,000 new homes will be needed over the next 5 years to keep pace with demand, and though it takes years for building codes to be changed, the technicians at the Advanced Structures & Composites Center (ASCC) at the Univ. of Maine hope their new toy can help address this need.

Guinness World Records certified the machine at ASCC as the world’s largest prototype polymer 3D printer, capable of creating a 600 square foot house 96 feet in length, 36 feet in width, and 18 feet tall entirely out of bio-based material at a rate of 500 pounds per hour.

In 2022, it could print the walls, floors, and roof of the house in just 96 hours, but the ACSS has been refining the design with the hope of doubling the printing speed and getting it down to a 48-hour timeline.

“When they’re doing concrete, they’re only printing the walls,” Habib Dagher, the executive director of ACSS told CNN. “The approach we’ve taken is quite different from what you’ve seen, and you’ve been reading about for years.”

Indeed, GNN has reported on a fair number of 3D printing projects, but most if not all involve printing only the walls. One fantastical exception is an Italian firm that is 3D-printing domed, beehive-like, modular concept homes inspired by the Great Enclosure in Zimbabwe.

The ASCC is calling the house design the BioHome3D, and says it’s rare people who tour the concept version don’t ask when they “can have one up?”

The interior gives the feel of a modern Scandinavian wooden cabin, making it fit well with the Maine aesthetic. The ASCC is now doing work on how to incorporate conduits for wiring and plumbing “exactly where an architect would want them,” says Dagher.

okay so this is completely random but i saw this thing about how female octopuses throw seashells at male octopuses that bother them and it just made me immediately think of monster!konig and his wife who constantly tries (and fails) to reject his advances

Being a mermaid in the same territory as the one that old eldritch horror hybrid has claimed is a very tough life. You can't even swim out of your enclosure, a small, cozy cave in the middle of nowhere, without his pawing at your body and trying to get his eggs inside of you. It's not even mating season, you think - but it's always mating season with him. Konig never had the chance to breed in the last 100 years, and so he is desperate. Enough to start snatching any compatible egg host without as much as asking their opinion. He likes you, and is making it your problem. But, even the eldritch horror is a gentleman at heart - and he has three of those, actually. He allows you a couple weeks of gentle courting when he swims to your cave and tries to give you gifts while you collect garbage and sea shells to throw at him in a feeble attempt to tell him off. You're never successful, but you try your best. Yelling st him, punching him, throwing stuff at him - Konig still thinks it's a really nice mating strategy, as you show off your strengths to your future mate. He likes it. Really, really likes it. You still resist when he is finally done being courteous and just snatches you down to his cave instead. It's dark and murky and you hate being here, but he pushes you down and keeps you there with his tentacles - there isn't a lot of options when you're pinned and held as strong as possible. You hate every second of it, but his affection is relentless. Dangerous. It's natural to submit to a strong mate, but you're still trying to resist, and it makes him laugh. Such a strong little mermaid, still trying to say you're independent and strong. Adorable, he thinks. You're even cuter when he finally pushes you down and feels you to the brim with his eggs. Your resistance is adorable as you scream and moan, not able to push him away. God, you're too good for him. He makes sure that you know this as well.

“M’sorry, sweetheart.” James' words are smushed against your neck, funny little kisses. He’s rubbing between your shoulder blades, unwavering in his sympathy ever since you’d told him you were having an off day, even though you’ve got no good reason for it. Your day had been fine, no noteworthy episodes, yet you’d felt oddly downtrodden through all of it. You’d come home exhausted and unable to explain yourself; James is taking it in stride. “Anything I can do?” 

“Could you hug me?” you mumble, squeezing tightly where you’ve got your arms wound beneath his, hands touching at his mid-back. 

His hand doesn’t falter, but you can hear the question in his tone. “I am hugging you, lovebug.” 

“Hug me tight,” you clarify. “It’s hard to explain, but I just want…pressure, right now.”

He makes a soft, bemused sound of assent. You move more fully into his lap, thighs bracketing his hips to get as close as you can as James wraps his big arms around you more securely. He pulls you tightly against him, but you can feel the lack of strain in his biceps. 

“Tighter,” you plead, pushing your face into his shoulder. “Break a few ribs if you gotta.” 

A laugh rumbles through him, loosening his grip. “What?” he asks, voice lightened by amusement. “I’m not gonna crush you.” 

“But you can.” You lift your head from the juncture of his neck, pouting at him. “You’re so strong, Jamie, just like, give me a solid squeeze. Please? I know you can do it.” 

“Flattery’s not going to work,” he chides teasingly, palm pushing into your back with some pressure but not enough. “There’s gotta be a way for me to help make you feel better that doesn’t involve squishing the life out of you.” 

“If you’re not up to the task, I’ll go to the zoo and find an anaconda,” you mutter into the material of his shirt. 

“What did you say?” 

“Nothing. Can you just try and give me one good squeeze, Jamie, pretty please?” You look up at him beseechingly, completely abusing the Bambi look you know melts him like ice cream in the sun. “I promise not to complain if I have to go to A&E afterwards.” 

You see the look working, James’ eyebrows bunching for a second before his expression eases into acquiescence. “Fine,” he says quietly, kissing the top of your head. “Just one more, and then we do something else. And I refuse to cause any injuries, so you have to tell me if it hurts, okay?”

You agree readily, cozying up to his front. You can feel the squeeze of his biceps against your arms this time, pressing in on your ribs as you hug him back. The solidity of him is nice, aching in a pleasant way, and you imagine all the heaviness of your day being squished right out of you as you bury your face in his neck. 

It ends too soon, but you’re satisfied. “Thank you,” you say, leaning back to smile at your boyfriend as your hand moves to his brawny shoulder, giving it an appreciative squeeze. “I feel a lot better.”

“Well, I feel properly used,” he grumbles, but his faux rancor is inlaid with fondness. 

“Used for the greater good,” you try, and it takes him all of a second to capitulate to your grin, planting a kiss under your eye. 

“Sure, sure. Anything for my girl, huh?” He slides a big palm to your hip, kneading lovingly at the fat there. “I better not catch you sneaking into the anaconda enclosure anytime soon, though.” 

“What, and cheat on you with a snake?” You shoot him your most angelic look. “They’ve got nothing on you, baby.” 

He shrugs, mouth pulling to one side consideringly. “Probably right. Those pricks don’t spend nearly as much time at the gym, yeah? Gotta be getting rusty.” 

You give him a quick kiss, laughing when he uses the hand still on your back to hold you in place for more. “My thoughts exactly.”

Aziraphale set up a little cozy enclosure for Crowley to hangout in his itty bitty snake form inside the bookstore.

Crowley thought it’s humiliating but also took down the heat lamp and the front glass panel for easier access of Aziraphale’s hands.

Open for first timers and the obsessed, we welcome all skill levels to this art based event. Just like before, the event comes in two parts with a few minor changes to spice up this year's competition.

Anyone Can Enter a Line Art!

Love to line but hate to color? This side is for you! Part one is the slow build up, where artists create this year's line art. Over the course of two months a form will be open and waiting for anyone to drop a Danny Phantom themed line art in. Crossovers welcome! Unlike our previous years, we will be keeping all the 2025 line art a secret until the drop date! 

Color To Compete!

During Part Two of the event, things rev up and turn competitive. If you sign up for this half, you better be ready to color! When the line arts drop, the fighting begins. For those who want nothing more than to go crazy over a brand new, Danny Phantom themed coloring book, this part is for you. The goal is to color as many of the line arts from the first half of the event as physically possible with the rest of your small team. Unlike other DP events, GWE will have 10 whole coloring teams, so expect to get cozy with your new mates while you strategize! 

And when we say strategize, we mean it. >:3 Green With Envy is unique in that the points you earn can be snatched away! How many your team gets depends on when you complete a coloring, how you complete a coloring, and to whom the line art was assigned. (Don't worry, you can color any line art, including unassigned ones!) Trickery is just as important as the speed and skill of your artistry here! Drop the ball and your points just may be Poached right from under your pencil tips!

Viktor Drabbles because I am literally just a girl (I am very much a guy.)

Just Viktor in season 1 being up too late and coming back to bed in the middle of the night, just snuggling up to you all cozy - he definitely gets more sleep because of you but his sleep schedule still sucks ass

His hair growing longer and he lets you play with it at all times because it calms him (gnawing at the bars of my enclosure)

His accent def gets heavier when sleepy, especially in the mornings!!

Having days where he struggles more with his disability so you make sure he's alright and get him coffee, or tea, or snacks just so he doesn't have to get up himself

(Specifically T4T, while I don't HC Viktor as trans, this is so sweet) Both of you have days that are worse with dysphoria and taking turns just encouraging the other, making sure the other feels valid (love goes out to all my trans siblings)

(Specifically Jayvik x reader) Jayce and viktor fighting while you're in the lab and you awkwardly stand right between the two because lord KNOWS the other will start being all huffy and annoyed if you take one SINGULAR step closer to the other one.

Just his hands. He def knows you like them (God knows I'd be holding his hand 24/7 if I had the chance) and makes fun of you a little (but he def thinks it's so sweet and adorable)

If you're taller than him, he has no issue using you as his personal cane. He actually prefers you over his cane because he has an excuse to hang onto his partner. If you're shorter than him, he still uses you as a cane, but just by resting his arm on your shoulder or head to tease you.

If you're like dressing up, he makes his best effort to give detailed compliments on your outfits (or makeup if you wear that) - definitely remembers all the little bits of fashion advice you drop (he has it written down in a little notebook)

If you like sport, even though he doesn't get it, he'll learn the rules of your favourite one just to watch it with you and get annoyed about the rules.

Type of guy to say that he isn't mad just disappointed after you hang out with Jayce fir more than 5 mins (it's playful but extremely funny thought to me)

My boy is insecure, not about himself but about what people might think of you because you're dating him, especially if you're from Piltover (in all honesty, he's only insecure about that sometimes, I mean he literally tried to excuse his break in by saying he was sneaking JAYCE into his bedroom.)

If you dislike someone, he 100% joins in on the gossip. He hears more than one might think, has the juiciest stuff on your enemies.

He gets that cute little twinkle in his eyes whenever he makes a breakthrough (if you're in the lab while he makes one he def demands a kiss for doing so well)

In conclusion, I love him!!!!
