Honestly I cannot overstate how much seeing Hayden as TCW Anakin changed EVERYTHING. Matt Lanter's Anakin is a frat dude. He wears a backwards baseball hat and says vaguely offensive things without realizing, while being a fundamentally chill and outgoing guy at heart. Hayden's Anakin is... not that. His voice. His expressions. His physical presence. It's off somehow. It's just left of normal. It's completely unremarkable and yet deeply uncanny for reasons you can't quite describe. TCW Anakin was always a flatter, blander portrayal, but I don't think I realized until now what exactly was missing: the serial killer energy. The inarticulable conviction that SOMETHING unhinged is going on behind those eyes.

Orion being on that other cover has me worried too because I’d much rather have a reimagining of his own suit than sticking him in a MMPR suit (assuming the armored MMPR things are our main rangers. Idk. I thought they were gonna be enforcers of the Morphin Masters before the issue dropped). Not counting the gimmick of his season which like. Doesn’t even work here. I simply cannot win with this series rn

Yeah, obviously anything's still possible at this point, but I really doubt we're gonna see a reimagined Silver Megaforce suit. People were already pointing out that the main cast are somewhat color-coded in their first issue outfits - Lauren in red obviously, but also Mark in blue, Jun in black, Valentina in yellow, and Orion in pink. Which yeah yeah makes sense because ~different timeline~ but it makes you wonder what's the point of bringing in these canon characters in the first place then if you're going to take them so far from who they are in the show. Why not just make them all OCs. (I mean, besides being able to go "look guys! look! You know Orion! He mentioned being Andresian and likes fro-yos!")

And I thought the armored MMPR suits were going to be enforcers too! Funnily enough, I thought they'd be what the VR Troopers are most likely going to be - a squadron for the Eltarians. Like in this timeline Eltar got their hands on the coins or something

Jacoby Shaddix (Papa Roach) has been asked about the Last Resort cover and Ronnie Radke in a recent interview with 955KLOS ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥 Heartmelting!!! I love the friendship of these two so much, it's damn inspiring!! Matt Pinfield phrasing opinion on Ronnie's vocals made my day as well!! ❤️❤️❤️

This above is the mentioned event of showing the reimagination to Jacoby for the 1st time. The video includes Ronnie saying this is not a remastered, but a "rough" version of the song yet.

Golden Chains

"Your Highness, the bath is ready" The servant quietly announced, looking towards the floor. "I'm coming" She languidly rose from the Divan, stretching back her long slender limbs and walked over to where the servant was standing, a tray holding expensive soaps, milk and honey balanced atop her hands. She walked into the fragrant pool of water and let her handmaiden scrub and lather her body, finally walking out after they were done, wearing a piece of cloth, body slick with water and hair dripping. She stood idly, servants wrapping silks and jewels around her. They then bowed and filed out of the room. She admired herself in the mirror. "Rajah, do you think I should put a blindfold on him, what's the point of him having sight if he doesn't like looking at me, then he'd appreciate the gifts I give him too" The tiger growled with such intensity that the guard standing at the door flinched in fright.

"Good Choice" He showed the rows of sharp teeth lining his jaw. She went to the balcony and plucked a single Jasmine flower from one of her many Jasmine plants. "Oh, and guard-" she glanced at the guard standing outside "Feed Rajah today, my Rajah got a bit hungry last time, so I need someone else to feed him" "Yes your highness" He gulped "Oh don't be scared, he is a very good boy" and bent down to pet him.

She walked down the hallway, stopping only to grab an apple which she unceremoniously bit into, the juice flowed down her chin but she threw it away. "This tastes inedible, guards, take her away" Guards rushed in and grabbed the woman holding the fruit basket, dragging her away.

She walked down the stairs into the treasury. It was filled up to the brim, with gold, crowns, gemstones and so many coins. She walked by it all, grazing her hand across the coins, towards the centre of it all. A large space had been cleared off.

There sat a man, hands cuffed to the ground, with soiled clothes and a ragged beard, an unfinished plate of rice and daal was left abandoned on his side. She dropped the flower in his lap, he didn't even so much as glance at it.

"Why Ali you used to love this bloom before" He didn't answer She grazed a nail across his jaw.

"I asked Rajah if taking away your sight would teach you a lesson, and he said yes! Such a good boy isn't he?" she grinned He looked up with wide eyes, "NO- DON'T" "Why shouldn't I ?" "I'm begging of you !" "I don't see it" He clasped his hands together in a desperate attempt to please her "Hmm, maybe I will, or maybe I won't, you'll see eventually, or well maybe not see at all" and she laughed out loud.

She turned back, lazily picking up a gold lamp. She rubbed its side and set it down on the ground, walking out as she saw blue smoke emerging from it.
