To say Elena was pissed about how Courtney handled their situation in her bedroom. The girl told Monty how she went a three-way with her and some girl named Laura, and that she let Justin finger her. That angered her, right now she is dancing with her boyfriend, Isaiah.
The male hands were at her waist and her hands were on his neck and they were swaying back and forth. They felt a few glances but didn't pay attention.
It was fun for a little while until the trouble started.
The brunette looked over her shoulders to see Monty looking at her and pointing.
“ Issy they are staring at us. Make them stop” Elena whispered in her boyfriend's ear.
She peaks over his shoulders to see Courtney feeling uncomfortable with the boy.
She sighed and felt bad for the girl, she knew the girl was attracted to females and that she was a lesbian.
She could feel Isaiah glaring over her shoulders, she pulled back to see Monty sizing her man up.
Between you and her, Isaiah would crush Montgomery.
Elena Baker pursed her lip and walked over to the table to get a drink. A few minutes later she felt a presence.
“ Go away, whoever you are ”.
“ It's me” A familiar voice speaks.
Looking up she saw her sister Hannah looking at her with a pained facial expression. Pausing from her drink, she frowned at her sister.
“ What's wrong, Han?”.
“ It's Courtney, she is bothering me with all her problems. Actually, do you want to leave early?”.
Elena nodded, she wasn't sure. Since her boyfriend was left alone as she walked over to the table.
She looked to their dance spot to see him gone. With alarm she looked around and didn't see him anywhere.
She began to walk around looking for him, she received some looks but she didn't care.
“ Issy, where are you?”.
Hannah ended up getting in the car with Sheri, she loved the girl really.
She was more likable compared to Jessica Davis, who is always in the center of something.
Elena finally found her boyfriend in the back near the male locker room.
Isaiah's hands were wrapped around Monty's neck, Monty was large and tall. But Isaiah was bigger, more powerful, and more Intimidating.
Immediately she walked over to grab him from behind, Upon feeling her touch.
Isaiah relaxed just slightly.
“ Do not talk about my girl like that. Keep her name out of your mouth” Isaiah roared.
Bryce was circling around her boyfriend, while Zach was trying to hold back.
Just then Jessica comes in with Justin, the two paused when they saw what was going on.
Immediately the two ran over and tried to break it up. But Isaiah was too strong and would not budge.
“ Easy, Love. It's okay, we'll get him next time okay?”.
It took a few seconds for Isaiah to hear what she was saying.
Finally, the taller male lets go, and shoves the smaller male back.
“ Don't let me catch you outside of school, I'm going to break your jaw, little bitch!”.
Elena latches on to Isaiah's arm, and he wraps his arms around her protectively and pulled her smaller body against him.
“ Come on, let us get out of here”.,
The two then leave the locker room, everyone watched them with wide eyes.
A lesson was learned that day.

So I’m basically new to this whole stuff (even 13rw lmao i’ve been living under a rock) but I’ve been writing for quite a while now and decided to give it a shot and post my stuff on here. Hope you guys will enjoy spending time on here and it will bring you smiles to your faces!
You can request anything from imagines to self-ships (which I’d love doing, so I guess I should start with that one?). I write for any gender, so everyone is welcome here!

hey kids
so after contributing 13 hours of my life to the latest season, i have some opinions, so here they are, even though you didn’t ask for them. quick and dirty and probably poor syntax. (obviously spoiler alert)
highlights
- the biggest highlight of s2 for me is that they developed the background for almost every character that deserved to be humanized. i always thought that most of the characters were redeemable, but in s1 they were so one note, so we couldn’t have much doubt in hannah as narrator. s2 really gives dimensions and layers to the characters whose conscience was always there, just not loud enough, even hannah’s and even more important, they showed that some people are just... plain fucking evil.
- another pretty big highlight was how they handled hannah and the perspective of her suicide. a lot of the criticism about the show was portraying hannah baker as a hero for getting revenge on her aggressors by taking her life and shaming them as theoretical murderers, which i agree with. in s2, they tackle that discussion head on by the dialogues clay has with hannah in his mind. she said that she wasn’t looking for revenge, just to tell her story and her story isn’t the only one that matters. i don’t know if that’s what the ‘real hannah baker’ would’ve said  bc this was a hannah that was created by clay but it felt believable to me and a little bit more empathetic. however, i understand if people still have the view of 13rw being ‘tragedy porn’ and gratuitous/triggering w it’s rape scenes but s2 has tried to make up for a lot of that, no matter what the motivation may be.
- i’m happy they didn’t act like jeff just went away.
- they breezed over race privilege. good on them.
- i think my favorite episode was episode 13 and my favorite scene was when everyone danced around clay and held him up at the dance. i didn’t cry at that, though, it was so touching. i did cry at clay’s eulogy. ugh, beautiful.
weak spots
ok ok ok, so there’s going to be so much more weaknesses than overall highlights, but i did thoroughly enjoy this season, much more than s1.
- the biggest weak spot for me was... how they dealt with the plots? i guess? like, everything that happened this season, i pretty much was glad about BUT i wanted it to happen for DIFFERENT CHARACTERS? for example, tbh, i never cared for skye. i didn’t like how she judged sheri and she just seemed like a stock character and s2 didn’t change that all that much and i knew that it was leading to a clay x skye relationship but... i really really really didn’t fucking want it to? i wanted sheri to be clay’s gf without the mental illness, and skye could still be that really good friend for him bc sheri x clay had that romantic backdrop already and sheri’s really sweet.
- speaking of characters, let’s talk about tony and sheri, shall we? tony was clay’s #1, last season. they had this crazy-strong relationship, although it was a bit one-sided, looking at you clay but no one could question the authenticity. but then, this season....we barely see any tony x clay.... if at all???? like, i am very glad that tony got a bf that supports all the he is and all that he wants to become, and i’m happy that he’s happy but, it was just so weird that we didn’t get a lot of clony time. it seems like they’re pretty much replacing tony for justin, which... i mean, ok (except he did try to talk about killing him last season) but tony has always had clay’s back. tony stuck by him, defended him, took care of him when he needed it? and i know they spoke about his probation being the reason he couldn’t help anymore, but... it feels fake bc we all know how padilla gets down for the ones he cares for and it seems like he cares for clay more than anyone. that’s another reason why i loved the finale bc we see glimpses of that again. also, his whole story with beating the bigot up for harassing him and ryan also felt weak. like, the way that boy was stressing, i thought he killed a guy and hannah helped him bury the body. like i understand he didn’t wanna go to juvie but... it truly didn’t feel that deep. like wasn’t a big enough payoff for this major secret that made him give his life to follow hannah’s rules and let a rapist go free. but that’s just me.
sheri. my fave. arguable, but out of all the subjects on the tapes, sheri had the closest relationship with clay. she always tried to check in on him and she really liked him. but no. he ends up with skye, which like i said, makes sense but... no. now she comes back and she still tries to help clay any way she can but... he still doesn’t trust her??? and he’ll trust zach and justin and even tyler to some degree but not her?????? and she wasn’t at the dance or the funeral????? so i’m wondering if she’ll be back for s3 and i’m just??????????? she basically took on the role of tony for this season, being wise and VERY HELPFUL yoda and truly wanting to get justice for hannah and help clay and justin but she just gets cut short, on redemption and screen time. it’s not fair, especially considering they gave it to courtney, who did nothing, honestly. i mean, it’s great she came out but let’s be real, that was about her. that would’ve had to happen whether she was put on trial or not. OH OH OH AND MARCUS GOT TO TELL HIS SIDE BUT NOT SHERI????? SQUARE THE FUCK UP SELENA GOMEZ
- while i am very glad that they spoke about mental illness, it was with the wrong character. as i have posted before, hannah had a lot of terrible shit happen to her by careless people but for her to take her life, i very much believe she had to have some type of disorder going on but yet again, the show does nothing to show that. laughably, they did a better job with showing skye’s symptoms in two episodes then hannah’s in a full 26 episodes. like what?
- still no jail for bryce. i know they wanted realism and more shit for another season probs, but dude that really sucks.
- were we really supposed to believe that clay would kill bryce?
- i could do without the alex/justin/jessica triangle. i mean, isn’t that how we got into this mess?
- the new characters, i really don’t care about. even tony’s nice bf who i don’t remember the name of. see? don’t care.

Trust | Montgomery De La Cruz | Part 2
Tumblr media
Summary: Reader was having a normal morning until someone decided to pull a stupid prank
Warning: None
Montgomery De La Cruz x Reader
Its been about 2 months since you broke up with Montgomery and you had no intention on getting back together with him.
Everything seemed so better, you got to wear your favorite perfume that Monty told you sent like shit, and dress, shirt, or shorts you want without him yelling at you about ‘walking about with you ass half out’.
But like everything there was a bad side Monty had been calling and texting you almost nonstop half of which were happening while he was drunk, he ever showed up at your house one night thank god your parents weren’t home, having to sleep alone with no one to cuddle with even though Montgomery was cheating on you he held you so close to him at night that he might have thought you would evaporate if he didn’t.
You also started to notice him getting into more fights at school or coming to school with bruises that weren’t there the day before leaving you to conclude that he had been sleeping at home most nights.
The bell had just rang for third period while you were on your way to ap history when a hand went over you mouth and one around your waist. You start to kick but soon after your feet are restrained as well.
When you finally set down you look around and your surrounded by guys in the middle of the boys locker room.
As you survey the faces of your attackers you realize it none other than the Liberty High baseball team.
“Thanks I’ve alway wanted to know what it felt like to be kidnapped.” You said sarcastically but still with and uneasy feeling as you knew what most of the baseball team were into. “I guess I can also say I know how Natalie Greendale felt at Sheri’s party.” You joked with a small laugh once you realized no one else was laughing you kept quiet....of a while.
“OKAY WHAT THE HELL AM I DOING HERE?!?” You yelled.
“Well explain in a minute just calm down.” Zach said.
“No zach I’m not gonna calm down in a room full of high school male and not a witness in sight.” I sneered.
“What do you think we’re gonna do Y/N?” Bryce asked taking a step closer to you.
“I don’t know Bryce you tell me, but I do know that if you don’t back the fuck up it will be the last think you do.” You replied.
“Alright let’s all calm down here.” You turn at a new voice entering the locker room.
“We’re all calm here coach.” Bryce says taking a few steps back.
“No were not I was just kidnapped.” You interjected.
“Look we’re sorry about that we just needed to talk to you.” Scott explained.
“And ‘hey Y/N.’ Wasn’t gonna workout for you?” You asked rolling your eyes.
“We didnt think you would listen if you knew what it was about.” Zach said making you have him a look to tell him to continue. “Monty.”
“Oh hell no.” You said turning on your heels and heading towards the door, only to find you path blocked by no less than 7 males.
“Hey Y/N, is it? Monty is one of the best guys on this team and as of late it’s been showing in his preformance on the field that something is off with him.” Coach spoke up. “And according to the team this all happened when you guys broke up.”
“Still not seeing what this has to do with me.” You interrupted.
“Look I’ve seen you around school with Monty and at the games in the stands cheering him on and you two seemed like a pretty solid pair and you don’t want one little fight to ruin that do you?” He asked condescendingly.
“Uh coach.” A random member started. “He was cheating on her for almost a month.”
“And that’s awful but everybody makes mistakes.” Bryce replied.
“Yeah and im not putting up with his ‘mistakes’ anymore.” You snapped. “I had to come to school everyday and see the girl my boyfriend was fucking behind my back, see them talking and flirting and act like I didn’t know anything so I don’t look like the crazy jealous girlfriend! For 3 week he looked me in my eye and lied to me and then had the nerve to accuse me of cheating and call me a slut!” You yelled causing half the team to flinch.
“Look no one ever said Monty was smart, but i since you dumped is ass he’s had a hair trigger and if he gets into anymore fights porters gonna bench him for the rest of the season, not that it matters is playing has sucked.” Scott quickly got to the point seeing you were running out of patience.
“I never asked him to be smart Scott I just wanted him to be loyal, or is that too much to ask from you people. You know if the roles were reversed I’d be slut-shamed out of the school, but when a guy does it we’re just expected to forgive him?! Well fuck you! I’d say fuck Monty but I’m sure someone is already on that now either you let me out of this damn room or I’m gonn a start screaming rape at the top of my lungs not that that would be beyond any of you!” You shout. “No offense Zach, Scott.” You said becoming a little calmer.
“All good.” Zach said at the same time Scott replied with a “no problem.”
After you exited the locker loom you went straight to class but you couldn’t focus on anything that was happening your thoughts were only on Montgomery.
Was he really that upset about your break up?
Of course not he wasn’t thinking about you when he was screwing Natalie.
But the team needs him.
So what has the team ever done for you?
Everyone deserves a second chance.
He had a second chance the first time he slept with her, the chance to come clean and never do it again but he wanted to her more than he cared about you.
Thoughts like these were floating though your head the whole day. Finally it was time to go home when you were trying to make your way to the door but a huge crowd was blocking your exit.
“I’m gonna beat your fucking as Adams!” You hear a familiar voice from the core of the mob.
“What the fucks your problem all I’m saying is it not my fault you cheated on your girl and got caught.”someone replied.
As you pushed your way through the crowed you saw just what you expected to see and angry Montgomery. What you didn’t expect was to see the face of the Asshole jock the tried to suck your face.
You felt a presence beside you causing you to look and come face to face with Bryce walker.
“What Walker?” You sighed.
“Nothing just wondering if your gonna let this happen?” He asked gesturing towards Monty.
“I’m not letting anything happen, this has nothing to do with me.” You replied.
“Yeah your probably right. But it’s no secret Monty has been looking for a reason to beat Adams to a pulp, and when he’s does there will be no more baseball he could miss the chance at a scout. Not to mention his dad will hear about it as we both know how that’s gonna end assuming no one presses charges and sends mont straight to jail, but yeah completely out of your hands it’s not like you could stop it or anything.” He went on and on.
Taking off your backpack and trusting to towards him which he takes.
“I hate you.” You say before walking to stand between Monty and Adams.
“Y/N what are you doing? Move.” Monty said still staring down the boy behind you who once you looked at him realized how scared he was. He knew he fucked up and that once Monty started it would take a lot for him to stop.
“Monty no.” You said holding you hand out keeping him from coming forward. “Think about this, even if you beat him up now what’s gonna happen to you after?” You asked.
“I don’t care.” He gritted out.
“I do Montgomery look at me.” You order but you demand went ignored.
You move closer to him and put your hand on either side of his face and gently guilt it down to the level of your eyes.
“Look at me.” You say softly as he finally submits. “I’m willing to talk about us Monty but you have to prove to me it’s worth it. Please just come with me and walk away. Please.” You quietly beg.
He started into your eyes for what seemed like forever.
“Fine.” Said causing you to let out a sigh of relief. You glance over to Bryce and nod.
“Alright, alright folks nothing to see here clear out!” He said starting to wave people off.
Once the group had dispersed Bryce had returned your bag to you and reminded Monty about having practice before the game tonight.
“Okay let’s go talk.” He said reaching for your wrist. You move slightly out of his reach.
“Not now Montgomery.” You replied.
“But you said.” He started.
“And we will, but you heard Bryce you have practice and a game. We can talk after.” You clarify.
“Your coming to my game?” Monty asked. You didn’t miss the joy fill his eyes as he waited for your answer.
“Yeah I’ll be there.” You say bitting your lips.
“Okay that’s great.” He exclaimed. Before you could stop him he quickly pecked you on your lips. “Oh I’m sorry.” He said once he realized what he didn’t.
“It’s fine, but just because I’m willing to talk doesn’t mean we’re getting back together.” You clarify.
“I know but if you do get back together I promise I’ll treat you like the angel you always were to me.” He said.
“You should go you have a game to win.” You said with a small smile.
“Yeah I’ll see you later.” He said walking backwards as if when he turned around you would disappear.
“I’ll see you later.” You said turning to walk away.
Once you got you your car you sat there staring straight forward.
“What the hell am I gonna do.” You said dropping your head down into the steering wheel a little too hard.
“Ow.” You quietly wined rubbing your forehead.

“Jess! Jess wait, stop. NO!”, I try to hesitate but soon after my so called friend closes the door behind me, forcing me to face the person behind me. “Hi.”, I smile awkwardly and lean against the door behind me, while resting my head for a minute. A stupid round of '7 Minutes in Heaven' caused me and a boy named Jeff Atkins, to end up in the closet with each other. Even though its not a closet but more like a pantry with very less ability to move around.
“I'm sorry, Y/N. This is stupid.”, Jeff suddenly sighs and I shrug my shoulders while looking at the ripped boy in front of me. It can't be denied that he is indeed very handsome. Big, brown eyes and a smile that could convince anyone to do anything. But other than that, that's it. I know absolutely nothing about this guy and now I am forced to spend 7 minutes in this room with him.
The first two minutes pass and none of us is saying anything, just me looking around and him staring at me. “What?”, I  finally ask and Jeff shakes his head with this particular smile on his face. I can't help it but laugh a little bit as well while I keep looking around. After a few minutes I can feel Jeff's look on me again and let out a bugged smile while facing him one more time.
“Seriously, could you stop looking at me? God!”, I growl and rest my head at the door again and Jeff walks the two steps possible over to me. “Seriously Y/N, could you relax? We're stuck in here together so we could at least make the best out of it.”, he shrugs his shoulders and I raise an eyebrow while looking him in the eyes. “What are you thinking about?”, I ask mockingly, knowing exactly what he's suggesting because the sexual tension in this moment can't be ignored.
“Oh I don't know. Maybe a little bit of this?”, he smirks before he grabs my waist and pulls me closer to his body while biting my neck playfully causing me to laugh. “Or a little bit of that?”, his bites turn into kisses and he starts leaving wet trails all over my neck. A little moan comes out of my mouth as I swing my hands around his neck and pull him a little closer. “Yeah, you like that, huh?”, he smirks before he lets go of my neck and looks me in the eyes while wiping some hair out of my face. But instead of answering him I press my lips at his and my tongue starts to explore his mouth while his hands keep wandering all over my body.
The lack of oxygen causes our lips to tear apart and we look at each other for a moment before our lips meet again and Jeff picks me up so I can wrap my legs around his waist and intensify the kiss even more while his hands wander under my skirt and up my thigh, making me moan. Jeff laughs a little bit into the mouth and I grab his hair to pull him even closer if that's possible while we continue to make out.
Suddenly the door is torn open, causing me and Jeff to almost fall out of the pantry, still attached to each other. “Well, well. Looks like the two of you spend the seven minutes just right.”, Jessica laughs and you smirk a little bit while looking at Jeff. “You can put me down now.”, I mumble and his face turns red before he places me on the floor again and we sit down next to the others again.
“That's what I call going for it, Atkins.”, someone laughs and I wipe some hair out of my face while looking at him.
“Shut up, Montgomery.”, he rolls his eyes before he looks over to me and smirks a little bit. No one talks about it for the rest of the night but I can't help it but notice Jeff's eyes on me. Maybe this wasn't such a bad party after all.

Young and Dumb | Part 2
“I believe I first met you in my parents’ pharmacy. I’m sure you don’t need the map to find it, everyone has the knowledge of where it is.  I was helping my mum restock the shelves, and you came in with a black hoodie and sunglasses on. Obviously, you didn’t want to be recognised, or maybe you did, who knows.
I asked if there was anything you needed help with, and your eyes went wide behind the expensive frames. From your posture, it was clear that you were unsettled by something. This something meant a lot to you, and you were nervous in telling me, a stranger.
It had only been the first week or two of school since I moved, so I didn’t blame you for that. The blame comes later on in this story. But I took an interest in you, not when you were getting all of that attention that you seemed to draw instantly when you walked through the halls of school, but when you were trying your best to avoid any of it.
I know that you knew who I was, you knew Justin, and Zach… and Bryce. You also seemed to become Jessica’s new bestie when we split ways, in a strange way, when the two of you connected, I felt as though you had stolen something from me.
But again, it was her choice to invite you to her house to study, and invite her to the parties that she threw. Courtney even told me that Jess always asked you what she should wear before they started, and now I understand how her fashion had improved significantly.”
Clay paused the tape as Tony pulled up beside him, and the teenager instinctively threw the door open and climbed into the passenger’s side. He pushed the headphones down to his neck as he looked at his friend, who appeared to be studying him far too closely for his liking.
“What?” He breathed, throwing his head back into the seat of the vehicle. Everyone was watching him, they had all had the tapes before him, so they knew that he was listening to their sins. And then also, they knew his. Both sides held the ammunition, even more so since he had yet to discover the case against him.
“Which tape are you on?” Tony was blunt, but he had an idea as he saw Clay’s interest as you walked out of the front doors, Jess on one side and Sheri on your other. It had to be one of you three, yet he was aware of how slow Clay was processing each record of information.
“12 side A.” He answered, his blue eyes drilling into you as you threw your head back in laughter. It wasn’t fair that you had the ability and will to do that after everything, Hannah was still waiting to be buried. Sometimes people were too inconsiderate of those who were lower down on the social food chain than them.
“Don’t judge her before you hear the entire tape. It’s complicated, and messy, and Hannah was not the only victim.” That intel made Clay’s eyes widen in fear. There had been another victim exposed on this tape, and it was disgusting, cruel. Evil.
“Not like Jess was?”
“God no. Thank God no.” Tony answered, looking in his side mirror as you walked away, and joined your boyfriend in his car. “But you better buckle up Clay, that side of the tape is long. Hannah sure had a lot of things to say about (Y/N), some good. Others not so much…”
Clay took out the tape from the player and inserted it in the car. If it was complicated, then Tony could explain it to him. He would still get mad and require a word in private with you, but he needed another opinion. One from an outsider, from someone who didn’t know Hannah as well, although, admittedly Clay didn’t know as much about her as he would have liked to have thought.
“That day though, when we first met gave me the impression that you didn’t thrive off of all of the attention. You liked your alone time, which I could relate to, more than anyone would know. It made me think that no one knew the real you, but I wanted to.
‘Can I help with anything?’ I asked, expecting you to be confident like you were with answers in class, but instead you wrung your hands, and your mouth opened repeatedly, trying to find words but somehow you had lost them. ‘(Y/N).’ I said, which caught your attention finally.
Your disguise clearly had not worked, so you removed the shades, but the hood stayed up. I was relieved to see the lack of a black eye or tears, I knew from then on that you just felt awkward. This was not a predicament that you had found yourself in before.
‘Actually, I’m looking for something’ It was more of a mumble that clear speech, but I still heard, and was happy that I did. I wanted to help, then maybe I could befriend you, and then change my image at Liberty.
‘What?’ Before you answered, you looked terrified, so I grabbed your hands and held them. It seemed to calm you a little, but you still had the instinct to look around to check for other people. My mum had went to the back to grab more stock, so it was just us. You and me, but now I speak this stood alone. There is no one here, just cold walls that don’t even want to move closer to me.
So, those of you who are listening, you can already tell that she created distance between me and her. I bet no one even knew that you had been a great support system once, until it was decided that we should keep our space.
‘Condoms.’ Was your quiet response, you appeared uncomfortable in saying it. At that time or before, I would have assumed that you had no problem with purchasing the contraception, seeing as everyone was far too familiar with you and Scott Reed in the hallways.
‘This way.’ I led you, and it got me thinking. Had you never bought a box before? Was it Scott’s duty that he had failed to uphold, and here you were, running in, when you were in the most need for one?
We got to the aisle, and you haphazardly stared at the selection of the stock. Your eyes were wide, and your mind was turning. ‘Are you okay?’
At my voice you smiled, looking back and forth between me and your necessity. And finally you told me your problem, which did not seem to be troublesome at all. But this was where it all started, it finishes somewhere very different.
‘I, uh, don’t know which ones to get.’ You appeared embarrassed in confiding this in me, and it really did make me think that you left the buying of them to Scott, until... ‘Me and Scott have never... you know. This was supposed to be a surprise, clearly not a very good one if I don’t know what frickin condoms to but.’
You were definitely embarrassed, your hands were raking through your hair, and there were tears holding back in your eyes. My hand caressed your shoulder and convinced you to look at me.
‘You’re both virgins?’ I asked rather bluntly, and you nodded shamefully. But you had nothing to be ashamed of, even if the news did shock me. The two of you fooled me, and could have fooled anyone considering your relationship. ‘Hey, that’s not a bad thing.’ I was a virgin too, even if others were led to believe differently. ‘It’s all new to the both of you, he’ll love the surprise, and he’d be stupid not to.’
Maybe I shouldn’t have convinced you to go ahead with your plan, but I did anyway. In this moment, you seemed like a nice girl, one who needed guidance rather than the flocks of followers that you were prone to having.
I scanned the selection, and grabbed the most suitable brand. ‘These would be best, just normal, like this and eventually that exchange.’
Clay paused the record as he saw that were at his house. He was astounded by the news of how late you and Scott were to blossoming sexually. There was a large difference between the pair of you and your so called friends.
“Did you know?” The investigator asked Tony, revelling in the newfound, yet old gossip.
“Don’t judge a book by it’s cover Jensen.” He told him. The boy was in for a ride, it was a long tape, for some reason, the longest one.
A/N: Sorry for the formation, I couldn’t add a read more button or a pic. So it’s just like this x

I think the fatal flaw in most of the characters on the tapes is that they are selfish. So, so, selfish. They are teenagers, so this comes as no surprise. Even Hannah. Justin wanted to keep his gf and bff, so he ignored what happened, Marcus wanted to keep his social standing, Courtney wasn’t ready for people to know she’s a lesbian, Alex used Hannah to get back and Jess and then didn’t refute it (in the locker room) because it made him look better, Ryan wanted his zine to be popular, Sheri wasn’t willing to face the consequences of her actions, Bryce took whatever he wanted (and can go and fucking die) etc.
But one character on the tapes that was not selfish was Clay. When he first met Hannah, he was awkward and nervous but polite. At that moment in time, I think the most he hoped for was being friends with Hannah. As the show progressed, so did their friendship and it flowered into an almost-relationship.
At that moment in Hannah’s life, even though she wanted to be happy, even though she wanted to be with Clay, she couldn’t. She couldn’t wash away what had happened to her in the past even though she knew that Clay wouldn’t hurt her like the others did. She knew he was kind and decent and so unselfish. But in the case of Clay, this unselfishness may have been his downfall.
See, he wanted Hannah. So much. But he never pushed and always did what she asked. This made the audience love him, and also Hannah. But Hannah had been friends with him for what, a year? She would know that he is timid and shy, especially when it comes to girls. She knew that when she told him to leave, he would leave. It was completely selfish and mean of her to tell Clay on the tapes that she wished he didn’t go. Did she not think that that would tear him apart?
Anyways, back to Clay. If Clay had been a little more selfish in that scene, like we saw when he said what he wished he had said, that could have made all the difference. If Hannah had known that just one person was on her side, I don’t think she would have killed herself. I really don’t. If Clay had been selfish for just a moment and had said, “No, I’m not going to leave until you tell me what’s going on,” like he wished he did, I truly believe Hannah would still be alive.

..
You sighed, your hand flat on the door. Your mother suggested the group to you. A support group, though you couldn't help but still feel like you weren't victim enough.
"You going in?" You snapped out of your thoughts as you made eye contact with brown ones. "Oh.. hi." You moved out of her way. "I'm scared too." You let out a soft laugh.
"I was my first meeting too. You want me to walk in with you?" Tears threatened to spill as you nodded. The girl reached out her hand as you took it.
The room smelled like vanilla and pop. A few girls had already sat down and made small talk. "Jess! Nice to see you again." The older woman said who sat at the north of the circle.
You bit at your lip nervously as you sat next to Jess, your denim purse in your lap, your ankles crossed.
You watched as Jess conversed with the other girls, smiling happily. "Will you be going to Liberty High?" A girl sat next to you. "I'll be starting the week after your guy's first week."
"My name is Nina."
"(Y/N)."
"What grade are you in?" She asked, trying to make conversation with you. "Senior." You rubbed your shoulder. "I'm taking extra classes so i can graduate earlier."
"That must be a lot work." Nina smiled at you.
Honestly, you could feel your nervousness leave your body.
You listened to everyone talk about how they were coping.
"Now would anyone else like to share… new girl?" The woman looked at you. "Can… can i stay sitting down?" You fidgeted with your thumbs.
"Of course, as long as your comfortable."
"Oh.. alright, um.. My name is (Y/N), I'm 17, turning 18 (Y/BD), my favorite color (color), and I moved here a week or so ago." You cleared your throat. "I don't know what else to say."
"And that is perfectly fine. You're doing just fine (Y/N)." Everyone began to chime in, telling you it was fine and you're doing well.
..
You sigh, and rub your knuckles as someone approached you over at the snack table. "I think you're really brave for coming here."
You turned around, "thank you. Justin, right?" You tucked some hair behind your ear. "Oh yea." He laughed a little.
"So, where'd you come from?" He asked, grabbing a red cup of Sprite. "Dothan." You said, looking over at his confused expression. "Alabama." You chuckled nervously, you hadn't really been that close to another person since..
"Have you gone too our towns movie theater yet? Me and Jess we're going to go see that new comedy."
"Oh are you and Jess..?" You asked, looking over at the caramel skinned girl, who, surprisingly, thrown a thumbs up at you.
"Yea. She thought you might need some friends who.. get it."
That's all you needed, honestly, you felt alone and wanted friends who understood.
..
Soon, you were included into Jess and Justin's friend group. Upon that, you met Zach Dempsey, Tyler Down, Clay Jensen, Tony Padilla, Alex Standall, Sheri Holland, Courtney Crimson, Scott Reed and Sheri Holland. They'd allow you at the table at Monet's, you definitely had a strict 'no-touching-me' rule. Which everyone ahered too.
"Did anyone do any of the math homework last night?" Zach asked, sitting down in his usual spot. "I did." You said. "Do you all need it?" You asked, looking up from your other classes' homework.
You ended up discarded your wants to graduate early. The high school experience seemed to suit you.
Your friends nodded, making you give a soft laugh and get the paper out of your binder, putting it on the middle of the table.
You looked over to the other side of the table. "So, (Y/N), got any plans for the weekend?" Alex asked you, prompting you to shake your head.
"Want to go see that new movie with me and Zach?" Alex rose an eyebrow.
Zach and Alex had been dating for a few weeks. "I wouldn't want to intrude." You laughed a little.
"I, honestly, just wanted to stay home this weekend, watch both Zombielands, eat pizza and just… just chill." You messed with your knuckles. "Not to say that I don't really like hanging with you guys, but I just want a weekend in." You dont say love, you haven't in months, not since him. "Calm down (N/N)... you don't have to explain shit to us." Tony who sat next to you, moved to nudge you, but stopped before you could notice.
"I know a pretty good pizza place. I could bring one over." Scott said, looking over at you, holding a mug in his hand. "That sounds... nice. Thank you."
..
You sighed, you wore a pair of grey baggy sweats and a Repzion hoodie, two sizes too big. You sat on the couch, legs crossed. Commercials started as you checked your phone for the time.
A knock at the door made you jump up and walk over to it, looking through the peephole. "I bring gifts." Scott smiled, holding up 2 boxes of pizza and a bottle of Sprite.
You unlocked the door letting him in. "Welcome to my humble adobe." You watched as he found his way to the kicthen with ease. "Wow… you really know this house."
"I actually lived here as a kid, then moved to my current house 8 years ago." Scott said. "I got plain cheese and a pepperoni meat pizza." You walked behind him. "And in case you had an allergy or something, gluten-free."
"Well, don't just stand around," he laughed. "Grab a slice." You nodded, grabbing a (pizza) slice. "So, what made you come here?" He asked as you both ate a slice of pizza.
"I don't like talking about it." You said, discarding the crust. "I can respect that." You nodded. "Do.. you want to stay?" You looked at him. "Watch the movie with me?"
"Are you comfortable with that?" He asked.
You paused, before nodding. "Yea. I am."
..
You ended up asleep, your head on the side of his chest. Your breaths were slow, calm, anxiousless. Scott hasn't even noticed, his arm was draped over your shoulder.
Your parents ended up coming home at around 11pm at night. This wasn't the first time Scott had been over, however it was the first time with out Jess, or any one else for that matter. Scott came over loads of times in the few months you has began hanging out with the group and your parents quite liked him, kind, respectful, 'a good pickle' as your dad said.
They nodded to him as they put the pizzas in the fridge along with the soda. "You get sleep soon Scott." Your mother said too him as she went down the hall to her bedroom with your father, closing the door behind them.
Scott sighed as he turned his head to the TV, watching the remainder of the movie.
..
Morning came and assuming Scott left you let out a disappointed sigh, sitting up you pushed your hair from your face and stretched.
"Good morning sunshine." Scott said before handing you a biscut and a cup of coffee he had gotten at the local breakfast place. "Oh, good morning." He had went into the kitchen, placing down two other coffees and biscuts on the counter before drinking his own walking back over too you.
"How'd you sleep?" He asked sitting next to you on the couch.
"I slept… fine." You said, even shocked yourself at the end part. "Well, I gotta start getting back to the house." He said before reaching his hand out. "Goodbye handshake?" He asked. "I know you don't exactly like touching, but what's a handshake got to hurt?" He asked, smiling softly. It make your stomach flutter as you grabbed his hand, shaking it.
"Come back another time?" You asked, a tinge of hope in the question.
"Maybe Saturday's can be our movie night." Scott smiled before taking his hand back.
"Maybe." You smiled a little.
..
And so it did, just about every Saturday, you two would watch a movie, eat a box of pizza, drink a liter of soda, fall asleep, Sunday, Scott would bring you and your family breakfast and a coffee for each and then leave around midday.
This went on for an entire school year, and in that school year, Scott had immense joy watching you change into someone new.
You were still socially awkward and wary of new people, but it wasn't as bad as it was when you first got here. You didnt wear as many hoodies anymore either, it was upgraded to teeshirts and jackets, his jacket sometimes.
There was no doubt about it. Your best friends definitely went Jess, Scott and Tyler.
"So... plan on telling me the details with Reed?" Justin teased. "(N/N) definitely has a crush." Jessica teased. "Even if I did?" You rose an eyebrow, sitting at the lunch table. "Why dont you ask him out?"
"I don't want to mess anything up with him." You sighed. "With who?" Scott asked, sitting next to you. "My dog! Uh, we're training professionally." You said, making a quick excuse up.
"You don't even have a dog." Scott rose an eyebrow.
"We're getting a Dobbie." You said. "Oh, cool. So what's gonna be the movie for tomorrow night?" He asked, eating a french fry. "I was thinking The Grudge? In theaters?" You asked, looking up at him.
"Oh dude, that's sick. Hell yea. Let's definitely do it."
You heard Jessica snort a little, she could obviously tell your attempt of asking Scott out on a date was, to say the least, failing.
"What are we gonna do for food though?" Scott asked. "I got paid yesterday.. we could go out for dinner too." You paused. "Finally could actually go to that pizza place you talk about." You looked at him.
"Oh, uh, sure." He laughed a little.
"Pizza and a movie? Don't you guys do that every weekend? Switch it up a little. There's a new restaurant opened next to the theater, just gotta go next door." Jess winked at you two.
"What kind of restaurant?" Scott asked, his hands in his pocket.
"Hibachi."
"Hibachi next to a theater… sounds sanitary." You laughed a little bit, causing your friends to look at you. "Hibachi sounds fine." You cleared your throat, shoving your hands in your pocket.
..
You sighed, looking at yourself in the mirror. You couldn't even remember the last time you wore makeup, you wore a smokey eyeshadow look and black lipstick. "Why not do something different?" You asked yourself outloud.
"(N/N)?" Your mom walked into your room, her eyes welling with tears as she saw you looking at yourself in the mirror, a smile on your face. "It seems so long since you've smiled at yourself." She walked over to you.
"Is he here yet?" You asked, rubbing your arm. "Living room." She smiled at you. "No later than 2."
"Alright mom." You said, walking towards the living room, messing with the scrunchie on your wrist. "Hey Scott." You said, making him stand and face you. "Oh wow." He chuckled, looking up at you.
"Ready to go?" You asked, grabbing your wallet.
..
You laughed as you leaned back in your chair. "You didn't!"
"Oh, but I did." He smiled, obviously beeming with pride. "All I've done is talk about me. Why don't you ever wanna talk about you?" He asked, putting a forkful of his food in his mouth.
"I'm not very interesting." You laughed a little.
"C'mon. Tell me something from your past." He grinned.
"Hm.. When I was 13 I dyed my whole head green because I was watching some anime and I wanted to look just like the main character." You chuckled a little at the memory.
"Have you ever gotten into a physical fight?" He asked. "A few times." You looked up at him.
"I didn't expect that from you." He joked.
"I was a pretty scary person at my old school." You paused. "Was the the all mighty 'goddess' there. No one really fucked with me… but it uh.. it changed because..." you trailed off, staring at Scott's hand.
"Hey, if you don't want to talk about it, that's fine. Don't stress it." He held your hand.
"Thank you." You whispered. "Ever had a boyfriend before?" He asked.
"Not really." You looked up at him.
"Is there someone you want? 'Cause I could hook y'all up, just say the name."
"Scott."
"Scott Shellings, Scott Quinn, Scott Brown?"
"Scott… Reed."
"We don't have a Scott Reed… oh… oh… oh! You mean me?" He asked, smiling a little.
"Nevermind, it's stupid, I should've figured you didn't like me like that."
"Hey, stop." He squeezed your hand a little. "I… figured it was the other way around." He chuckled.
"What?" You picked your head up, looking at him. "I've... I like you. You're sweet and funny and kind and… you're my best friend." He chuckled.
"You don't have to lie to me." You looked down. "Have I before?" You looked back up at him after he asked that question. "No."
"Do you think I am now?"
"No..."
"Do you think I will ever?"
"No Scott." You said.
"One more question, how would you feel about being mine?"
"I feel… okay with that." You smiled at him.
"Just ok?" He chuckled, kissing the knuckles of your hand. "I'm not gonna say I love you just yet. But when I do, you'll never forget it." He grinned.
"I'll never forget this night."

13rw s4 thoughts
so after shitloads of skipping i finished the season. not feeling very stable rn. spoilers under the cut!!
let me just say i am so so glad they made alex bi. they should have done that way earlier. Alex just oozed the queer vibe and it took me 3 secs to have my gaydar pinging off
the zalex kiss was fucking bait
look as much as i am a zalex shipper i am even more of a alex x happiness shipper. and him and charlie just being super adorable melted my heart and i decided to also stan this pairing
alex and charlie was a bit rushed tho i have to admit. the chemistry is there but they spent the first half of the season with. what winston and alex. that was just. weird.
in case you didn’t notice alex is my favourite character so please indulge my freaking out
clay losing his mind breaks my heart
yep i still dislike ani
jessica. i think i might have some sort of crush on her idk. or chloe. because chloe is kinda my type
they just had to make zach a mess this season didn’t they?
but like prom king and prom king was like everything. the gays win again
seeing the police abusing their power at school and them being racist just hurts my head esp with the current state of the blm movement
oh hi just monty and bryce popping around as ghosts. i still dislike the fact they were paint in a better light but for me it makes sense in a way. there’s many sides of a people. but never forget that they are rapists. please
i honestly cant like winston just because of his determination to find the truth about monty being framed
honestly the amount of gays in this show. where are my wlw other than courtney???
let’s go to the main point. justin
it’s just ripping my heart. and the reason he died hurts even more
like AIDS??
i can’t imagine how brandon flynn feels acting all this out
i’ll have to say i’m glad he died with his family by his side and him being happier than before
he still deserved better
also hannah appearing out of nowhere????
but those few seconds of courtney and ryan also there when they burried the tapes. if sheri was also here they would have had the whole tapes gang ;-;
charlie just casually blending in
so glad tyler is happier now
overall this was a better season than the last for me. because alex happy  (im sorry)
just take away the alex winston part please
also if they were going full charlie alex they should have taken away the zalex kiss too
yep i think i’m done
this is way too long
i’m sorry

13 Reasons Why Season 2
A thorough analysis
Okay, so I just finished it and ...wow...
(spoilers ahead)
The plot
I loved the fact that Hannah wasn’t the narrator of this season and every episode had a different one so we could see the other characters’ truth and their stories
The way they handled Jessica’s recovery was beautiful and realistic. Her not feeling comfortable talking about her rape in public, eventually going to group therapy and being willing to help other girls who had gone through similar things
Alex’s recovery was also great and I particularly loved Zach’s part in it
I loved how it showed that most teens (excluding Bryce and Montgomery of course) weren’t bad people, they had made mistakes and did reckless things in order to protect other people and most of them were willing to testify the truth eventually
So.much.character.development.
The idea with the polaroids was brilliant, but I wish we saw them more throughout the season
This season doesn’t revolve as much around Hannah and Clay as around how everyone is coping after the events in s1, their mourning and their moving on
I believe this season really sheds light on difficult matters like sexual assault, bullying, gun violence and substance abuse by depicting them realistically and showing their consequences, thus achieving the series’ goal: to start a conversation
The characters
Hannah
Tumblr media
As I said before, I liked that this season didn’t focus too much on Hannah and gave more space to the other characters. It was also good that they showed how Hannah was a flawed person who had made mistakes (she had contributed in bullying a girl in her previous school)
Clay
Tumblr media
Well, I understand that Clay must be going through a lot (they all are) but that doesn’t change the fact that he behaves egoistically sometimes. He is quick to judge everyone else and condemn them for their part in Hannah’s story, but he very rarely includes himself and his mistakes in that. However, he is still a very good character and i liked him a lot.
Jessica
Tumblr media
I loved her so much this season. She went through a lot and she is a fighter and she did great in every episode. I believe she still has a long road to recovery but she will definitely stay strong
Alex
Tumblr media
First of all, I’M SO GLAD HE DIDN’T DIE. He is literally so strong in this season, not only having a physical burden, due to his attempted suicide, but also a phychological one. I’m sure he feels guilty and pressured and everyone is treating him like a ticking bomb, give him a break :(
Justin
Tumblr media
To me, he is one of the characters that stole the show this season. His development, his story, helping Clay and the rest, finally having a family etc. I loved him since s1, but now i love hime like, a thousand times more. I only hope nothing bad happens to him next season, if we have one (with the whole heroin story)
Zach
Tumblr media
In the beginning, we didn’t know where his loyalty lay, but in the end we saw him supporting the truth. So much development from season 1
Tony
Tumblr media
I like how we saw more of his personal story this season than his story with the tapes. He wasn’t the guy who followed Clay around to make sure he listened to the tapes, he was the guy with anger issues, who was in probation, who once beat up a man for calling him and Ryan faggots, who had a relationship etc. He grew a lot this season
Courtney
Tumblr media
We didn’t really see a lot of her this season but i loved her and the fact that she came out and also supported Jessica and the rest. I really ship her with her girlfriend and I hope we see more of them in the future (again, if there is another season)
Sheri
Tumblr media
She was amazing and deserved more screen time.
Tyler
Tumblr media
He was the first to testify and reveal his truth and everyone gave him shit he didn’t deserve for that. Throughout the season, we see bad things happening to him, resulting in him accumulating too much anger he couldn’t suppress. I really believed he was truly changed in the end and if montgomery didn’t do that fucked up thing to him, he wouldn’t try to to do a school shooting
Ryan
Tumblr media
I liked him a lot this season and his relationships with Hannah, Courtney and Tony:)
Mrs. Baker
Tumblr media
I loved her fighting for her daughter in this season she was so strong, she deserves all the happiness
Mr. Porter
Tumblr media
It was obvious in this season that he felt a lot of guilt for not doing his best to prevent Hannah from commiting suicide. He more than made up for his obliviousness in the first season by trying to help every student and support the truth. He had one of the best character developments
The relationships
Hannah and Zach
Tumblr media
It was so unexpected, but they are so good for each other!
Jessica and Justin
Tumblr media
I know it’s probably not very healthy for both of them, but i am very glad they had this moment in the finale. Maybe they’ll brush it  off and say it was nothing important, but i think they still have feelings for each other
Alex and Zach
Tumblr media
I really loved how close they got, with Zach helping Alex and everything
Alex and Jessica
Tumblr media
I really like them as friends but not as a couple:/ I think Jessica is better with Justin and Alex with Zach:)
Clay and Justin
Tumblr media
Personally, i wanted these two to become friends since s1 and i was so pleasantly sorprised when it really happened. I LOVE the fact that the Jensens will adopt Justin
The whole squad
Tumblr media
In the end, they all stood up for each other.
Favorite scenes:
that fight scene in the corridor
bryce getting arrested
“hypocrite”
when justin came back after jail and zach hugged him
literally every clay x justin and alex x zach scen
All in all, i really liked this season and I think it was much better than s1. Try to avoid any possibly triggering (to you) scenes and you will be fine because it’s worth it.

Thoughts on Season 2 of Thirteen Reasons Why
I totally respect other people’s opinions. Here’s mine:
Thirteen Reasons Why is definitely not an ideal media representation of social and mental health issues and is really triggering at many points. I indulged myself to this bandwagon by watching the first season one week after it was released. This season, however, tended to be painfully graphic and harmful for all viewers. Before watching it, I had considered the production’s warning. It will be ‘unsuitable’ and ‘sensitive’ for all of us, and I totally agree. Me, I’m not very proud of my own thoughts when I went into this dark and horrible stage of mine before, and I’m not comfortable talking about it with anyone, but many of my schoolmates know some about it. My parents? No. School administration? No. I have redeemed myself and it took years to be in this peaceful mindset, but I’ve got to admit that I’m still emotionally damaged, and I learned that after watching this season. So, people have been asking me why am I still watching this show?
Let’s talk about the characters. Hannah Baker wasn’t the narrator of this whole season, and it’s a breath of fresh air. Clay Jensen, on the other hand, took a lot of screen time. He was being necessarily dramatic, but all over the place. The real reason I continued watching this season after Episode 1 is that of the other characters’ great character development; seemingly Jessica Davis, Zach Dempsey and Mr. Kevin Porter (Sheri Holland and Justin Foley started to appear in Episodes 2 and 3, respectively). There I was thinking: I sometimes relate to Clay, other times I see myself in Zach, and oh I relate to Justin on this one. This season focused on the aftermath of a serious tragedy, and also the prevalent issue of sexual assault and bullying (also adding substance abuse and gun violence). They tackled Jessica’s situation and recovery realistically because other girls feel the same way and maybe going through the same recovery process. Hers, Alex Standall’s and Olivia Baker’s journey needed to be acknowledged this season because it’s a way; their way to recover from their own pain, and we can’t take that away from them. The scenes: There are some graphic scenes, of course. I liked the scene where Courtney told the truth and accepting her identity. I liked Zach’s friendship with Alex, and Clay’s big brother aura to Justin. It’s surprising to say that I’m not surprised with the trial’s result because again, real life. I liked the season’s quiet moments. I liked how the characters are aware that they themselves are flawed in their own way.
You see, I haven’t experienced rape, physical violence, and substance abuse. I was molested once when I was a kid, many people called me names I didn’t like, and other horrible things that contribute to who I am right now. Despite other people’s toll on the show, I still appreciate the whole thing. I’ve got to admit that half of the time I was watching those scenes, I really felt uncomfortable. Specifically, that scene from the last episode made me speechless. After I’m finished with that episode, I cried for hours because of that scene with Tyler. I was catching my breath the whole time, crying and crying until I felt numb and fell asleep because of the weariness. “It’s too much! It’s too much,” I keep on saying it. “Oh, God, please stop.“ There are other scenes that made me feel sick, but this one, I can‘t even.
It was definitely not an ideal for a show, but it needed to be accurate as possible. I totally agree with the “too graphic” issue going on, but it needed to be. Because somewhere out there in the real world, it’s happening to some kids. That’s the real life! In this world, there are girls that try to forget the past because they feel powerless (like Jessica). There are kids who are confused with their own identity and having a hard time acknowledging it (like Courtney) and also being pressured to act a certain way because they’re scared of losing something (like Zach and Tyler). There are kids who cope with their individual losses and own life damages the hard way because the world doesn’t seem to fully understand (like Clay and Alex) and there are these kids with no remorse like Bryce and Monty, who will keep on being insensitive and shitty because they like things going their way for their personal satisfaction. That’s the painful reality. Those scenes involving them needed to be accurate. It’s happening in the real world, and it’s the truth and we can’t just sweep it under the rug.
If you can’t accept it, that’s on you. I know because it has been very harmful to me and everyone else who feels the same way, but other people needed to know these situations. This show is not for us hurting. This show is for people to open their eyes and see the painful truth of social issues and adolescence to others, it brings insight and perspective. I’ve seen shows and movies that didn’t represent mental illnesses accurately. The first season of 13RW, it helped me to not think about my horrible experiences that don’t define me. It strengthened me instead. And more importantly, it made me think that suicide is not an option for me anymore.
I’m not forcing it out on anyone. Everyone handles things differently, and I’m so sorry if it affected you negatively. Please be always careful. x
