how are we feeling about the whole koujaku situation

Unfortunately the game suffers from being a product of when, by whom, for whom, and where it was made... It's real fun to take all the questionable consent and look at it like it's been done on purpose, but it gets kinda hard to get through at some point when it gets presented so heavily as a cute, non-problematic, completely fine way to go about having sex. Aoba thinking about how he has to do it to deepen his bond with Koujaku, how there's not a word spoken beforehand about what's going to happen, not a single "can I?" or "is this okay?" asked by Koujaku, how Aoba says "wait!" multiple times and not once does he get listened to, it's really not as consensual as they treat it as. All of the routes kind of suffer from this, because the game can't help but be a product of it's environment, but Aoba really can't catch a break.
