I’m literally over here checking Jon’s and Deborah’s convention schedules to see if they could make their way over the ocean in December and grace me with their presence because I know Charlie is busy in the States the weekend I’m going to my con, but like… I have hope? I’m also praying for the Stranger Things cast. Or parts of it, anyway.

Chris Evans, Sebastian Stan and whoever else I’m desperately in love with are very unlikely to come. I just don’t feel like they would (and I don’t blame them, I mean, it’s Germany). So I’m just manifesting every day that I GET THE CHANCE TO MEET JAMIE OR JOE OR DEBORAH OR JON OR WHATEVER–

I also keep refreshing the GCC Instagram page every day. I have issues. The con is in DECEMBER. Why am I so obsessed? (Probably because I keep seeing all this Charlie content and I miss him)

But also, I need to know how many organs I need to sell to afford whoever is coming.

We did it. Holy fuck. We cleared an ultimate. Actually unreal to me that I have now cleared one of the six hardest fights in the game.

Truly I could not have done this without the support of all of my fellow Cobservants who have supported me over the last three months. In particular, shoutouts to (left to right) Elvis, S'mitu (@smit-posting), Shion, Koko, Carmen, Smarty, and Yuki for their incredible work in this clear, as well as our static leader, Marty, for putting this group together. Your support and encouragement has pushed me to become a better player and a better raider, and kept me motivated over the last three months. Resilient souls, I salute you!

Anyways. Yeah. I'm kinda emotional about this. I didn't think I'd ever clear an ultimate until like a month ago. I truly do not have words to describe this feeling. Just incredible to me that we managed to accomplish this. I can't wait for reclears!

It's a drawing of Monika from ddlc. I drew her on a whiteboard, took a photo of her, and then to anger my friends crunched it into oblivion. These are the most significant stages.

Stage One: Original image. She's chilling

Stage Two: Messed with brightness, tint, temperature, and sharpness until it turned yellow. Pixels starting to be visible.

Stage Three: Overexposure and extreme saturation. The light glare has started crumbling.

Stage Four: Darkened the image. It's important to know that every edit has been saved as a copy, making it a new image. This means that every time the sharpness was edited, it stacked. This is visible here.

Stage Five: Why Is She Green I Don't Remember

Stage Six: Brightness all the way down, tint, highlights, and shadows all the way up. I think.

Stage Seven: the most destroyed the image can get before screenshots have to be involved. Not much change from stage six. Slightly desaturated. May be the same image but you get the gist.

alright fine so I have branched out with the Mother of Monsters series to include dragons now, since Dany is a dragon gal and dragons also count as monsters. Since I've done Ancalagon (and that person who suggested Midir previously got very excited over me branching out to non-Godzilla kaiju lol) even if he was in the parental role over dany since he was like a bajillion years old and made the valyrians

I probably will do Midir but there's also the likes of Tiamet or Toothless or Bahamut like just different dragons from different media since I do like niche crossovers and doing one-shots is fun? I think 'cause all the rest of my current fics are freaking huge and all four are around 200k words and only one is close to being finished uuurgh

But at the same time if I start doing dragons from different media for Dany to be the mother of, how could I not include Spyro who is like the most famous one

The status of The upcoming The Count of Monte Cristo series (the one with Sam Claflin) has now been changed to post-production on IMDb. Still no full cast list though; lately they've added an actor for Maximilian Morrel (Robin Greer). Still nothing for Albert, Franz, Valentine, Bertuccio, Benedetto, Caderousse, Debray or Beauchamp.

Erika asked over her little plate of chicken nuggets and mac 'n cheese (matching her brother's meal), a small part of her glad to know she wasn't the only one who found it hard to pick a favorite. At this, August replied, "It's hard to decide, isn't it? If you twisted my arm, I'd likely choose cobbler, but...a little peaches and cream is more than welcome in my book."

"Strawberries are gross..." Lon groused with a little pout, while Erika conceded, "They're okay, I guess." She didn't have as big a reaction to eating them as her brother did; while she only made a little face upon trying them before pushing the little bowl of berries away, Lon had made quite a show of his disdain for the flavor, much to his parents' amusement, with Randall chuckling as he dug into his crawfish boil, "I really thought they'd take to 'em as quickly as I did, but no dice-more for me then, I suppose!"

"What about you, Dorian?" Josephine asked curiously, as she took another sip of Guinness, which she quite liked. "Do you have a favorite fruit?"

"I admit, when it comes to sweets, I tend to reach for a good piece of chocolate, but cards on the table, I quite like citrus, especially lemon. Lizzie's mother Lena loves to work with lemon in her cooking, even outside of her wonderful lemonade, so I guess it's no grand surprise I enjoy it so much," Dorian smiled with a shrug, before adding, "Lizzie and I compliment each other in that sense-she likes orange the best."

"Ah, you're a couple after my own heart then!" Josephine grinned brightly. "My friends and I loved to play around and make all sorts of drinks at each other's houses when we weren't working, and I always loved a nice, crisp vodka and orange juice mixed together after hours."

"What's vodka?" Erika asked curiously, to which her great-grandmother replied, "It's a grown-up drink made out of potatoes."

"Ew!" Lon gagged from his seat, at which Josephine giggled amusedly at his response, assuring him, "It doesn't really taste like potatoes, I promise. But it's nothing you two need to worry about-juices are better for you anyways."

Neither Lon nor Erika had any arguments about this, continuing to enjoy their meal and drinks without a second thought, with the topic eventually shifting to the twins' birthday, which got the pair all sorts of excited-though they did both sigh, "Awww..." when their father gently reminded them not to get nosy about learning any of the details for the party-they didn't want to spoil any of the surprises, now did they?
