#it may be the worst superintendent gig in the organization but it could be mine so 🤷🤷#the leadership experience plus being in a different work environment PLUS like 15k more a year…#could be worth it!#it would be a longer commute but like eh #it would be worth it to not feel like death all the time #to actually feel valued and maybe get some quality mentorship?? hell yeah!!!!#there’s a reason most of the people at that location have worked there forever #they’re a great team #and they’ve always treated me very well #so like. i could be a part of that team…#that could be me…#and it would look soooooooo good on my resume #like. not that i’m JUST applying for that reason but #it MUST be said…#i would have to put off paid fieldwork for another year - which is a risky career move #but i’m doing a BUNCH of volunteer stuff and i’d try to do more if possible #and i might be able to swing some more paid stuff with this job - who knows!#if i had that on my resume PLUS a couple seasons of fieldwork i could slide into refuge management sooooooooo easy #:)))))))))#i could probably have it by 35 at the latest if i put my mind to it…#and if i was making THAT much from 35 to 65 i could retire sooooooooo comfy!!!!!!#JUST FUCKING SAYING!!!!!!!!!!!!

#ive had this in my drafts for MONTHS #im not really that confident in how the pose looks so I settled on stopping here #I wish I got to see them interact more but it was so exciting to see Franziska being nicer and a little conscientious since the last game #i knw the main idea in the games is to help ppl we barely know and go thru all this trouble than just dismiss it bc we dont think #its worth the effort but theres also the way this shapes how characters interact and develop relationships with each other #even though i know maya and franziska are like strangers to each other given how theyve barely talked to each other in canon #using what the game tells me abt them and thinking abt how they would interact in a believable way than what they already have #is something i really appreciate abt the ace attorney series. in canon these guys only ever have a reason to interact bc of #circumstances that force them to. canon is a suggestion to me and if smth fanon feels believable to me i could not care less #aa #ace attorney #doodles #my art #myart #franmaya #maya fey #franziska von karma

i think a lot of people are calling viktor’s reaction to waking up changed and then almost immediately leaving for zaun unrealistic and like… yes it would be. for someone whose mind has not been affected by the hexcore. he speaks differently, he hears sky’s voice through its influence, he can no longer feel the cold, or the warmth of jayce’s hug. he walks away from jayce because he can no longer feel the affection that kept them together, and he sees no logical point in remaining when they have no common ground anymore. he might not be a machine externally, exactly, but his mind certainly isn’t human anymore.

#you KNOW he was seeing visions in that coma. he knew exactly where to go and what he was going to do #even before this he had so little self worth. he saw himself as only being worth as much as his inventions.#he never saw himself as someone worthy of love; he barely saw himself as anyone at all #the only person he KNOWS saw him as more than that is dead and it’s his fault #and waking up and finding out what jayce has done only cements the fact he cannot trust jayce to do what he himself thinks is right #there’s no way he could stay with jayce and do what he needs to do to help the zaunites. at least in his mind anyway #sighhhh. anyway i will probably have to write fic about this tomorrow lmaooo #arcane #jayvik #arcane s2 spoilers #p

I truly, TRULY do not know how to say this, because the fact that I have to say it makes me feel like I am losing my grip on reality. But no, in the post-capitalistic anarchist utopia, I will not be relying on “autistic minecraft girlies” to be building inspectors because - and this may shock you - one of those occupations takes years of education in how to read and interpret hundreds of thousands of lines of regulations based on complicated math and physics that were the result of decades of tragedy and death, and the other one involves playing a children’s video game.
