cougars inc is such a dogshit movie but it genuinely might be top tier kyle gallner looks for me so its such a gamble

It’s shit like this that makes me want to stop making gifsets. People love taking the gifs we spent hours sourcing the best footage for, editing, color correcting, and any other numerous types of altering or adding graphics and text—and then they just rip them off, don’t credit, and they act like we’re insane for asking that you at the bare minimum credit us. “You have nothing to gain and you didn’t create saw” do any of you understand how art works? Understand what fan works are? Most art is created with no intention of gaining anything except enjoyment and community. What do YOU gain from ripping off people’s gifs? Why even post on tumblr at all? Because it’s fun and you get to be apart of a community? Wow, what a concept. It’s almost like people make gifs to express their creativity and love for something and want to share it with others. Wanting credit for that work, which is honestly just basic decency, shouldn’t be that difficult to wrap your head around. And the hilarious part is they have one of my other gifsets pinned to their main blog.

Also, if I could get rich and famous from making gifsets do you think I’d be gif’ing some of the stuff I do? Yeah, my gifset of Cougars Inc is really gonna take me places!

i havent told you guys this but i got my wisdom teeth out like a week and a half ago and decided i was gonna watch every movie kyle gallner's been in as a kind of gauntlet while i was recovering and i'm up to my 23nd now. not counting tv show episodes. it started as like a 'oh this guy was really impressive in the passenger and elevated a pretty mediocre script to a really compelling performance i wonder what he's like in other movies' thing but now it's mutated into this morbid fixation. i have to see it through. i've watched more shitty c-listers in the last 13 days than i have in the preceding 20 years of my life. ive watched movies so bad that 'cougars inc.' registered as a charming teen comedy to me. and the worst part is that he's good in all of them. it's like watching a murder or a robbery or a lamb getting killed or something he's such a talented actor and for some reason he's consistently giving these great, earnest, clever performances in these awful fucking movies. since 2004 he's been doing this, when he was on smallville age 17 running rings around tom welling. this guy is like 37 now and jennifer's body is still the best project he's been in and that was fifteen years ago. if smile 2 is bad i'm going to blow something up
