Coton de tulears are weird

There's several pictures in the thread of cottons sleeping in odd positions. Mine also slept on her back and usually had one hind leg against something.

Just finished up these two adorable commission pieces. Sadly, it turns out my so-called "client" turned out to be a would-be scammer, womp womp. (No money or personal info was exchanged, I've been on the internet long enough to know better) Honestly, while it is somewhat upsetting, it's my fault for not doing my due diligence and vetting the information I was provided. Perhaps then I would have realized that the images I was given as reference were actually of popular Instagram dog, @coconut_coton_ and not some supposed Texan woman's dog named "Mickey".

Oh, well. A lesson for next time to be more careful. These two pieces were fun to paint, and I don't mind holding on to them for myself. In the meantime, I hope you all enjoy how these came out.

I thought my cotton was odd for lifting her leg up. I walked her with the neighbours male dog and thought she learned that from him.
