Thoughts on the newest Craig of the Creek episode: 

Love that we finally have Jason’s backstory and it confirmed what I have always suspected: Jason has a very troubled home life. Love how Craig’s parents handled Jason, you can tell they know he needs positive parental figures in his life. 

However, this episode felt like we took some giant steps back in regards to Craig and Jason’s dynamic and Craig’s feelings about Jason? 

We’ve already had multiple episodes where Craig softens towards Jason, plus they were cool with each other during the Capture the Flag Arc? Enough to where they plotted together for Jason to spy on Xavier and co? 

So, what’s up with Craig’s sudden hostility towards Jason after everything? This episode felt like it took place way before the Capture the Flag Arc.

Also, are they never going to bring up Jason being the mole in Xavier’s guard and that being a big reason Xavier was taken down in the end? Are we ever going to get any follow up on that? 

The former Champions don’t mention it. Xavier doesn’t mention it. Craig doesn’t mention it. Jason doesn’t. No one does. 

For a show that is usually very good with following up on things, this feels off. 

All in all a good episode, just feels like it should have taken place earlier in the series.

I would really love one more jason episode before craig of the Creek ends. I was thinking of a cute episode with him criag and omar. Idk it would seem intriguing. Maybe a rainy day episode, like kelsey, is hanging out with stacks and JPs dad is visiting, and it's just the three.
