#cosy streaming

Ok folks, what are your favourite cosy games to play. I’m looking for something relatively low-stakes, cutesy, and crafting based…

If I get on with it, I might even start streaming it over on my Twitch like I did with Stardew, Skyrim, and Minecraft…

(Suggestions so far include: Littlw Witch in the Woods, Inkluminati, and Potion Craft: Alchemist Simulator - opinions on all those still welcomed!)

AZIRAPHALE DOES STREAMS WHERE HE JUST READS. ALOUD. SOMETIMES HE DOES WHOLE BOOKS, OTHER TIMES ITS JUST CHAPTERS. BUT HE JUST SITS DOWN. AND READS.

Aziraphale takes book recs (always making sure they’re appropriate for his viewers), but he reads them for the first time there, doing silly voices and making sound effects. Chat absolutely loves this, and some artists come together to animate his streams. (Not they would need to, Aziraphale paints a picture with how he reads) and he always finishes a book. Maybe it’s late night streams where he can’t stream too long so he has multiple streams where he reads the books and once he’s completed he gets the streams and posts them to YouTube or whatnot, all clipped together so people can listen over and over and over.

I did it! I finally made a cosy list of art prompts for October. This is my version of Inktober! And I call it:

COSYTOBER! 😍

For years I didn't make my own because I figured, I'm just a really small artist and basically have no reach, so who is going to join in, you know? And that really hasn't changed much. 😂 However, I really want to do this at least once in my life. And I feel if there was ever a time to do it, this is it. In between hospital visits and struggling with real life stuff, I need some cosy art.

opera stream alert!

Extra info: It's Hamlet, it's about Hamlet. Murder! Step-parents! Flowers! This opera has it all. It also features some excellent music, in this case performed by Stéphane Degout and Sabine Devieilhe, some of my favorite singers in the world. Both the opera and this specific staging have a bit of a twist ending for Shakespeare fans.

new sketchbook who this

what it says in the tin, got a new sketchbook today :) it's thicker and rougher paper than what i usually use which is slightly annoying because it tends to smudge a lot more and has a rougher look, but it's still good paper and i find it nice to draw on!!

every so often i fall back into my DDLC phase and start rewatching a bunch of analysis videos on the characters. they're like my comfort background noise to listen to. Monika's one of my favourite characters and i find her fun to draw!!

Splatoon was, like, a childhood hyperfixation of mine, mainly because the character designs and the music go hard. like, they literally please the autism so much, it's like a stim just looking at the characters and listening to the soundtrack!!! the design of the Inkling girl was always my favourite as a kid because look at her! she's so cool looking!! i love all the colours and i love the texture of the characters' hair and their ears literally make me so happy and they are SO fun to draw. i would chew on an octoling's hair like a dog toy if i could it looks so chewable
