Repost time 😀 This is from last Sunday at the Cosplay Photographers Alliance Beach Meet up. I was able to get more than a few photos in my Luffy cosplay (so you may see a lot of them posted soon 😋). This one is from @blue.bern.photography and features @aprilstarcosplay as Nami and myself as Monkey D Luffy from One Piece. Always fun hanging out with @aprilstarcosplay and her other half @dianyelog ; such delightful people. I truly had a magnificent time and got some incredible photos with my One Piece peps. Also got really wet a few times with the waves crashing against us, which means I lose my powers. Damn salt water being a pain. TbT time 😀 This Throwback Thursday post is from last month at the D23 Expo. I got a chance to hang out with two wonderful people (@scruffyrebel and Jinyo) at the Anovos booth. First saw them on Heroes of Cosplay, then met them in person at Stan Lee Comikaze a few years ago (before I got into cosplay) and at a few conventions since. They are some of the people who helped to get me into cosplay and are also so nice and sweet. I am glad I got a chance to see them and catch up for a little while. Hope to see them again soonish, but life does keep us all busy. Have a great Thursday and always remember to stay... Here is another beautiful photo from Stan Lee’s LA Comic Con. Since it is a last day of Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) 2017 (correct me if I am wrong). I wanted to post this lovely photo of the @cosplaytwiins . They wear Dia de los Muertos every year on Sunday at LA Comic Con. I don’t always get to see it in person but do check out the amazing photos online. Their designs, make-up and outfits look astonishing every year. However, I really like the bright colors they went with this year. The contrast of purple and pink on Martha and Jazmine really made the outfits pop. They are some of the sweetest people you will meet at conventions and their cosplay is always Out of this world. Ok so one more selfie from the Cosplay Photographers Alliance Beach Meet up. The multi-photo option could not display everyone in the photo. So I guess I have to post it separately since the IG guidelines cannot contain these awesome people. Again, just to say, it was so much fun hanging out with all these wonderful people at the Beach. Ended up a little sun burnt like everyone else, but a lot of fun. Not to mention the cosplay was pretty great. Some cosplay prefect for a beach shoot and some just awesome cosplay in general. I also really like how this photo contains friends, cosplayers, podcasters and photographers in it. Part 2 of 2 of Selfies from Cosplay Photographers Alliance Beach Meet up:     Ok, well I might have to do a third part for this post. Some of the photos will not format properly here. But here are more wonderful selfies of all the phenomenal people I ran into and hung out with at the Cosplay Photographers Alliance Beach Meet up. Kinda harking back to a post @standesu made a couple days ago; but I have not been to the beach much in the past couple years. So these meet-ups help me to remember how fun the beach is. Also hanging out with great friends anywhere, always makes for a great time. Also glad I got a chance to hang out with @annjelife again and the two wonderful friends of mine @riansynnth and @lsharma (and to make up for D23 [failed selfie], a selfie with a lovely @jasminlovesyoux ). Part 1 of 2 of Selfies from Cosplay Photographers Alliance Beach Meet up: I reprised my Luffy coplay since both @aprilstarcosplay and @actcostumes were going to be there in their One Piece cosplay as well. There were several One Piece group photos and individual photos taken and the response and turnout was great. For the event itself, The CPA Beach Meet-up made for a wonderful day. Great beach location, plenty of parking, good setup for everyone to hang out and a ton of great people all around. I had a chance to meet a couple new cosplayers and photographers, as well as get to know a couple people better. And at the same time, hang out with some of wonderful friends I have made in this community. So I am so happy I reprised Luffy, got off my butt and made it out there this weekend. Both the Heritage Park and Beach Meet-ups were so much fun and I can’t wait for the next once.
