The Baha'i temple guides are all volunteers. There roughly 7000 Ugandans who belong to the Baha'i faith. The Baha'i faith is so deep for me to cover by one post , I advice some background research on it. As a spiritual being conforming to no specific religion , I love to learn new religions and cultures and I borrow what I relate with to shape my own spiritual journey 😀. Baha'i temple in Uganda is in Kikaya hills is 15 minutes on a bodaboda. The trip to the temple will cost you between 7000-7500 Ugx . The temple is free to go see and relax in the garden. You will get a guide who will inform you about the history and faith . No photography is allowed inside the temple. I cannot believe I have lived 24 years on this earth and didn't know about the Baha'i religion. One of their temples in Africa is in Uganda in the outskirts of Kampala town. The Gaddafi mosque is a monumental mosque in the middle of Kampala City. It's was gifted by my fave , Muammuar Gaddafi to the Muslim community. It was completed in 2006 and ready to use in 2007. The interior craftsmanship was done by hand and I will be sharing more details as I go along. Now after the passing of Colonel Gaddafi , the new Libyan administration refused to rehabilitate the mosque under the name Gaddafi mosque hence became Uganda National Mosque. It's a site to behold and the tower is the best way to have a glimpse of the city .❤️ Plus it's a great way to delve into and understand the Muslim religion and culture.
