Today was a really hard day. Not only for me. For the whole megstiel family.

The last episode of supernatural triggered a chain of reactions that none of us would have expected. The most of us realized quickly that the spoken words would change the whole shipping war situation On twitter, every other platform and in real life. Specially for us Megstiel shippers it was hard to post something online Or just represent their belief in megstiel.

We have always been told that Megstiel is not canon and each of us has been told by toxic people how bad Meg is for Castiel and that they mean nothing to each other.

But we fight.

And will keep fighting.

Against discrimination of ships and against toxic people who make our spnfamily not feel like a family anymore.

It's nothing about homophobe.

For the most of the megstielfamily megstiel is a save place and a comfort space. Megstiel shows us that even when we have to fight our demons we deserve to be loved. Megstiel still gives us hope.

And spn family was always a place where people understand this but it changed I'm since the airing of the first ep in this fandom but the toxibillity of this fandom raised since the end of season 14.

People began to threaten the writers and other ships were not spared either. Specially toxic destiel shippers started to bullying megstiel shippers And attack their accounts.

I Cosplay Meg since 3 years now and I had to listen to how bad Meg was and how insignificant she is to cas. But meg and specially Rachel Miner helped me and many others through so many. There is no way we could thank her for all this and then there are this toxic humans who wants to destroy our save place.

So many people got attacked just because they ship megstiel. And the scene of castiels death have our attackers more reasons to hate us.

We don't want war.

We never wanted.

We just want the right To express our feelings for a fictional ship just like every other person can do. And we will stick together.

We all found so many through supernatural and we found so many good things through megstiel.

Friends, lovers, family, comfort, confidence...

We found a home And we will never let someone destroy our home.

This isn't about all the normal shippers and non-shippers.

They let us live in peace.

This is about the few toxic creatures Who deliberately try to destroy us, to finish us off. People who haven't understood that spnfamily is about accepting others as they are.

Guys, we still have 2 episodes left of a show that airs over 15 years.

Don't act like children.

Leave other ships alone.

Enjoy the episodes.

Celebrate.

Cry.

Laugh.

It's all allowed but please don't hate other fans.

Not about megstiel or sabriel or sastiel or one of the many other ships.

And some people don't ship at all. That's all okay. And don't start hating the actors for something they can't changed.

I read so many hateful posts about Jensen Ackles, Micha Collins, Lisa Berry and Rachel Miner the last few hours.

All of them are amazing actors and they created amazing things together.

Jensen isn't homophobic. Stop calling him that.

Rachel is one of the most inspiring and nicest people we have on this earth.

Misha does so many and Never wants something back.

And LisaBerry is so damn talented, sher acting skills are thrilling.

Let's stay the spn family.

Every spn actor is amazing on his own way and non of them deserved hate. Neither the fans do.

We have to stick together and fight against the hate in this family. We have to remember ourself what we found on our way to the end of supernatural.

All the friendships, fanarts, fanfics.

The spn family used to be so close.

Let's go back to the old family. Without hate and drama and let's celebrate the last episodes together as family.

And in the end, after the last episode, let us never forget this:

This impromptu night was brought to you by StarkidRewind. I literally saw the most gorgeous cosplay of Sher. on my page and was promptly reminded that there was a celebration of Starkid going on!

Meeting Tonight, Events Next Week!

Hello anime fans! We're so excited to announce that in addition to our regularly scheduled meeting tonight in SHER 003 and on Discord from 6 - 11 pm, we have two great events coming up in the next week! First, we're doing a crossover event with the Japanese Student Association, The Comics and Other Media Club, and the Cosplay Coalition on Wednesday, October 27th! It will be an all day event, but keep an eye out on Monday for further details about all the activities we'll have planned. Next, next Friday, we'll be having a special Halloween themed meeting! Bring your best horror, spooky, or Halloween episodes for BYOA on October 29th. Finally, we're skipping game night this week, but we will be having another game night on Saturday, October 30th from 6 - 8 pm in the Student Org Lounge! We will be providing pizza and other treats at this event, so feel free to stop by for some spooky fun with your anime club friends!

I had the weirdest dream (I just woke up, I'm typing this as I remember it) that I was going to meet Benedict Cumberbatch at a big convention that was in town for the weekend. I was going to go in my dragon partial (repainted to look like I was Smaug) to try and impress him because I'm short and I felt the need to. To my dissatisfaction the wings were a bit damaged so me and mom had to repair them the night before. My mom had used some type of glue that was safe to use on fabrics but not on skin but I ignored it. Me and mom were extremely tired when she finished repairs so I fell asleep on the table and she dozed off on the couch. I woke up before her to use the bathroom and I found I couldn't remove the wings. I was too sleepy to really care but when I looked in the mirror not only had my arms been fused into the wings but my face had scales and one of my eyes was that of a dragon. I even had the horns and spikes on my back to match. The tail that I had for it had also fused to me since the stiches were coming undone. I woke my mom and told her and she thought it was pretty cool but that I may need to go to the hospital. I declined as meeting Benedict Cumberbatch was the main goal of the day and that maybe he would be impressed by the realness of my Smaug cosplay. When it came time to leave I wasn't able to fit in the car so I ended up having to ride on the top since I wasn't able to fly. When we got to the con we had to park at one of the farthest parking lots and I knew mom would be tired with all that walking before we even got in so I decided that it was time to see if I could really fly. To my amazement it was fairly easy to lift off and carry my mom to the front gates. We had already ordered our badges in advance and didn't have to wait in line (luckily for us because everyone was watching us, it's not everyday you see a dragon eh?). It was a little while before the meet and greet with Benedict but I got into the line and I was actually the last one by the time it started. I hadnt counted on how shy in was going to be since I was so excited. When it was my turn I was trembling really bad and I had my tail wrapped around my leg. He saw that I was nervous and hugged me which only made it worse to the point that I passed out. I woke up in one of the VIP lounges on the couch surrounded by a team of medics but among them I noticed Benedict and my mom. I shooed the medics off me and managed to lean up but I couldn't stand because in was unsteady on my feet which I didn't understand until I looked down and seen that my legs had become digilegged. When I started to have a panic attack, Benedict came to my side and calmed me down and told me that he moved the time of his panel tomorrow since he was so worried about me. I told him about what happened with my cosplay and my mom inadvertently told him that I wanted to impress him which caused me to have me have a on anxiety attack again. To take my mind off my modified body he started telling me about how it was to be Sherlock (I was wearing my collar with the Sherlock charm on it). Eventually I was comfortable enough around him to stay calm so I figured that it was time for me to go explore the rest of the con. He helped me to stand on my newly formed legs and even sent his private bodyguard to watch over me. Throughout the rest of the day I was somewhat of a celebrity since Benedict had been the one to carry me out of the con hall to the private lounge (I didn't know since I was passed out) and everyone was asking how I was. Despite all the new attention I was getting the day was good and I bought a few new items to add to my collection of things. When the con was over I returned to Benedict and thanked him for watching over me. In return he wanted me to come back the next 2 days and join him on the panel and when he did autographs. I wanted to decline but my mom said that I would and she even gave him our address so he could pick me up. I flew home next to moms car when we left since I figured I needed to learn to more. When I returned home I found that i had made the news 'Benedict's New Dragon' read the headline as the cameras showed that he he did indeed carry me from the hall. I shrugged off the texts from my friends, only replying to my boyfriend's and my other friend I call Lestrade (for good reason) before I went to sleep. The following morning I received a text that read 'Morning my little dragon. Ready to join me? -SH' I jumped up and noticed that my body hadnt become more dragon-like so I walked out to the kitchen to see that my mom and Benedict were chatting away, "Good morning" he smiled and I dropped my Spockbear plushie I usually slept with, "Y-yeah morning Sher-uh Benedict" I blushed, "We met yesterday remember?" He asked, "I-I remember. I just wasn't expecting to see you at my house s-silly" I joked trying not to be so shy, "Ah I see. Well you can thank your mum for that" he chuckled, "I'll uh be right back then we can go" I nodded and returned to my room. Seeing that I didn't have many clothes to wear that I could fix to be worn in my current state so I decided to go in my 'Shezza mode clothes' which were my long grey sweat pants, dark undershirt and hoodie. Benedict gave a bit of a laugh when he noticed what in was wearing "you look like a mini Shezza" he smiled then we headed out to his limo. The last thing I remember before I woke up was that when when me and Benedict got to the con he wrapped his arm around my neck and leaned his forehead to mine then said "no worries, you don't have to be shy around me anymore" before he picked me up and carried me into the hall where a huge crowd was waiting for us and I thought "Maybe this dragon thing won't be so bad after all". I need to go have some tea now. Spockary out.

30 DAY COSPLAY CHALLENGE

I’m not really into cosplay competitions but in 2015 we take part in contest for the best group performance and won in out cosplays from Vongola First Generation. 

And Sher (who’s with me in the group) won an award in club contest two weeks ago, it was funny contest tho. :D
