Do you draw your webcomic OCs cosplaying as characters from a video game you've never actually played? Or are you normal?

(At the time of this posting, I have actually begun playing Baldur's Gate 3. But when I started making the art, I had not yet.)

Gabrielle: Jo, who were you thinking about being? Jo: Uh, well, I was leaning toward Lae'zel. Mitsuki: I don't know, babe.

Mitsuki (tilting her head back): I think you'd make a good Shadowheart. Gabrielle (eagerly): Ooo! Definitely! Caption (pointing at Mitsuki and Gabrielle): Both of them really want to see a femme Jo.

Jo (crossing her arms): Shadowheart? Really?! Mitsuki: A Child of the Darkness who is aloof, moody, and secretive? I can see it!

Jo (scoffing as if to imitate Lae'zel): Chk! Fine. Mitsuki: So I guess that mean's I'm Lae'zel. Gabrielle: This is going to be great!

So, I had a box floating around my room, that was holding some art supplies, for like months. I was too damn lazy to put em away. Surprise, surprise. Long story short, they were put away. But! I still had that box, right? Well, decided to make a couple masks with it. But like. Borderlands style. Here’s the first one.

I made a hat and accessories out of cardboard, and it took me around 3 hours the night before the event.

clothes (jacket, button-up, pants) and watch : thrifted

shoes : Dr Martens

Ok, so who do I have to bribe on ACGAS to put Siegfried in this corduroy suit, so I can be the laziest cosplayer ever and just grab what's in my closet. 😅

(You all know I will be deranged about something, nonetheless. Am thinking about needle felting Volonel, Siegfried's pet rat.)

Suit by Cathcart Heritage (from where I'll order the full 3-piece tweed suit), will post more about the fit soon, as I'm wearing this to be twee at a thing in 2 weeks. Shirt is from Darcy Clothing. Vest and tie are not vintage, but work fine for this look. Pipe is from my stash back when I used to indulge.
