yourusername i was originally planning on making an ep, most likely called talk too much, with somewhat final drafts of pretty girls, 23, i wish, willow, talk too much, and gemini moon for the tracklist. but, as some of you guys know, my life took a drastic turn in august. in the past month i have tried to distract myself as much as possible, constantly on the move, whether it was actually moving out of my apartment or hanging out with my friends. but when i worked on my music i let myself really feel. feel the pain and the betrayal. and so, after way too many late night runs to mcdonalds, mental breakdowns, calls with my therapist, and movie marathons, i had six more songs.

and so snow angel was born.

even though i know this isn't going to get rid of the pain, which will probably linger in the depths of my insecurities for years to come, snow angel is the step i needed to take to reach acceptance.

thank you to everyone who made this album possible: my fans, friends, producers, family -- i truly could not have done this without you.

Gisou Golshani is a London-based Iranian artist. Their work depicts abstract narratives from seemingly disparate elements. Through multilayered editing and playful uses of sampling, they investigate the intimacy of the voice, the effects of sound on the body and their mother tongue Farsi’s complexities in translation. Looking into archival found material, Gisou creates multi-sensory, immersive installations and performances. Previous work has been shown at Disturbance (Ugly Duck), London, Studio/Chapple for Deptford X, London, Nottingham’s New Art Exchange, Mimosa House, London and internationally including their home country.

Tra 150 e 120 milioni di anni fa, un grande blocco crostale identificato come Placca “Greater Iberia” si è distaccato dall’Europa per poi frammentarsi, circa 30 milioni di anni fa, in una placca maggiore (“Iberia”) e in numerose microplacche che, nel tempo, hanno migrato verso Est per 500 km (costituendo le attuali Corsica e Sardegna) e 1000 km (gli odierni Monti Peloritani e la Calabria). Monti Peloritani nella Sicilia: lo studio È quanto emerge dallo studio “Paleomagnetism of the Peloritan terrane (NE Sicily): From Greater Iberia to the Neo Apennine‐Maghrebide Arc” realizzato da un team di ricercatori dell’Istituto Nazionale di Geofisica e Vulcanologia (INGV), recentemente pubblicato sulla rivista ‘Tectonics’. Il cosiddetto Blocco Calabro-Peloritano si estende tra i Monti Nebrodi e i Monti Peloritani della Sicilia nord-orientale e l’area calabrese a sud del Massiccio del Pollino. La sua geologia, del tutto diversa da quella del resto delle vicine catene appenninica e siciliana, presenta delle somiglianze con la geologia della microplacca Sardo-Corsa, dei Blocchi Kabili (Algeria) e della Placca Iberica (Spagna e Portogallo): ciò aveva fatto ipotizzare, da decenni, che tutti questi blocchi crostali fossero, in origine, uniti. Tuttavia, nessuna evidenza che provasse un’origine “iberica” del Blocco Calabro-Peloritano era finora documentata. Le parole degli studiosi “Lo studio che abbiamo appena pubblicato fornisce finalmente le prove di quanto la comunità scientifica ipotizzava da tempo”, spiega Fabio Speranza, Direttore della Sezione Roma2 dell’INGV e co-autore dello studio. “I dati da noi raccolti, ottenuti da campioni di rocce prelevati in Sicilia, tra Taormina e San Marco d’Alunzio, e analizzati nel Laboratorio di Paleomagnetismo ‘Renato Funiciello’ dell’INGV, hanno evidenziato che fra 150 e 120 milioni di anni fa è avvenuta una rotazione antioraria di circa 30° nella magnetizzazione dei campioni. Questa è del tutto simile, sia per entità che per cronologia, alla rotazione osservata nella Placca Iberica quando, durante il processo di ‘apertura’ dell’Oceano Atlantico, si distaccò dalla Placca Europea formando il Golfo di Biscaglia”. La frammentazione e la migrazione verso est della Microplacca Sardo-Corsa, dei Blocchi Kabili e, in seguito, del Blocco Calabro-Peloritano sarebbero avvenute durante l’apertura dei nuovi bacini oceanici liguro-provenzale (avvenuta tra 30 e 15 milioni di anni fa) e tirrenico (tra 10 e 2 milioni di anni fa), in maniera sincrona alla formazione delle catene appenninica e siciliana. Blocco Peloritano “I dati geologici mostrano che il Blocco Peloritano fu incorporato nella catena montuosa siciliana tra 18 e 17 milioni di anni fa”, spiega Gaia Siravo, ricercatrice dell’INGV e co-autrice dello studio. “I dati paleomagnetici, a loro volta, mostrano che la rotazione totale post-oligocenica (post-23 milioni di anni fa) del Blocco è pari a 130° orari, esattamente sovrapponibile a quella già ampiamente documentata nella Sicilia centro-occidentale e legata alla strutturazione della catena siciliana stessa e all’apertura del Mar Tirreno. Questa rotazione oraria è, però, del tutto diversa rispetto a quella antioraria (di circa 140°) da noi già documentata due anni fa su sedimenti affioranti nella Sila orientale. Ciò ci ha permesso di fornire un’ulteriore evidenza: il Blocco Calabro-Peloritano è in realtà composto da due micro-blocchi che hanno avuto un’evoluzione completamente diversa negli ultimi 30 milioni di anni”, conclude Siravo. Baggio sarà collegato molto più rapidamente al centro di Milano

Chi abita a Baggio di quasi il 10 per cento sul valore della casa. Lo afferma un’analisi di Immobiliare.it insights, che ha esaminato l’andamento delle quotazioni nelle aree periferiche di Milano nel periodo 2021-2023 e sulla base di queste ha previsto l’evoluzione dei prezzi nelle zone raggiunte verso il nuovo capolinea della «rossa» nel prossimo futuro. L’arrivo della sotterranea nelle tre aree identificate (Baggio-Parri-Valsesia e Olmi, per complessivi 3,3 chilometri) non è a brevissimo termine: si parla del 2028/29, con inizio dei lavori tra la fine di quest’anno e i primi mesi del prossimo; l’esperienza però insegna che con le previsioni di tempo per gli scavi è meglio essere prudenti. L’anticipo sui lavori Nonostante questo è presumibile che un effetto metrò, come si è già verificato in occasioni analoghe, si evidenzi ben prima sul mercato. Lo studio di immobiliare.it quantifica nel 9,7 per cento in diciotto mesi l’apprezzamento di valore per le abitazioni che si trovano a meno di cinque minuti a piedi dalla nuova stazione della metropolitana, mentre per le distanze oltre cinque e fino a dieci minuti l’effetto si riduce a +5,2 per cento.  Il prezzo medio delle aree interessate dai lavori di prolungamento attualmente è poco sopra i 2.880 euro al metro quadrato (Olmi è il quartiere più economico di Milano); le previsioni di prezzo generalizzate per le aree periferiche di qui a 18 mesi portano Immobiliare.it a stimare un aumento di quasi il 9 per cento; a questo va aggiunto l’effetto supplementare della metropolitana, che dovrebbe portare il prezzo medio a 3.200 euro per le case tra cinque e dieci minuti dal metrò e a 3.400 per quelle che permettono di arrivare in meno di cinque minuti. Il precedente della M4 L’importanza della metropolitana sui valori immobiliari è affermata anche da un recente studio della società di servizi immobiliari Abitare Co. sull’andamento dei prezzi dal pre pandemia a oggi nelle zone servite dalle 113 fermate delle cinque linee sotterranee, comprendendo nel novero anche la linea Blu nella sua interezza. In March 2023 Toya dropped her new EP 'Sheesh' which immediately garnered widespread support across Spotify and radio. The lead track WOZA was added to Spotify's New Music Friday South Africa while also picking up plays from Jaguar on Radio 1, Seanie B on BBC 1Xtra, Jamz Supernova on BBC 6 Music and Scratchclart on NTS.
