TRIGGER WARNING: mentions of death, violence, and self-harm
CASE STUDY 5: The Death of Liam Payne
Tumblr media
One Direction was the American heartthrob boy band that delivered the hits that became the soundtrack of many of our adolescent years. Whether you loved them or not, their influence on music, band culture, and pop culture as a whole is undeniable. Though Liam Payne may not have always been the most prominent face of the group, his death is undeniably tragic—but not without deeper context.
disclaimer: the following birth chart is not 100% accurate.
Tumblr media
Payne’s 9th house Chiron in Leo points to challenges with self-expression, especially in areas tied to education, learning, and exploring the world. The placement suggests that seeking knowledge and expanding his worldview may have been accompanied by feelings of inadequacy or wounds related to expressing his authentic self. With Gemini ruling the 8th house, there’s a potential indication of death related to lung issues, smoking, or asphyxiation.
Since he was in an 8th House profection year, these themes were likely emphasized, placing matters of shared resources, transformations, and even mortality at the forefront of his life. It seems he may have been trying to counterbalance the intense energy typical of an 8th house profection through travel or seeking new experiences. However, with transit Mars moving through his 8th house, it could have activated conflicts or incidents involving aggression, accidents, or volatility. The opposition between Mars and transit Pluto would have only intensified this energy, heightening the potential for violent or extreme events.
it is said that Payne was dropped from Universal Music Group just days before his death, indicating a loss of resources from others / corporations.
Payne’s Scorpio Ascendant reinforces the idea that he may have faced significant struggles before his death. Scorpio risings often experience hardships, mistreatment, or even abuse at the hands of others early in life, shaping their resilience but also leaving lasting emotional scars. With Saturn stationed near direct on his IC and opposing his Midheaven, this suggests potential challenges both at home and in his public life, hinting at possible abuse or difficulties within his family environment that extended into how he was perceived by society.
This dynamic creates tension with his 10th house Sun and Mercury in Virgo and his 11th house Mars and Jupiter in Libra. Although his chart suggests he was meant to be active in the public sphere, the weight of a difficult upbringing may have made it hard for him to fully embrace his potential. The opposition between his private and public life likely resulted in a lifelong struggle to balance personal challenges with his aspirations for recognition and community involvement.
With transit Venus and Mercury moving through his 12th house and the transit North Node in his 5th, this trip appears to have been intended as a healing escape that took an unfortunate turn. The 12th house, linked to self-undoing, and the 5th house, associated with pleasure, suggest a dynamic where seeking enjoyment and release may have led to unintended consequences.
The influence of both Scorpio and Aries—two Mars-ruled signs—likely intensified his pre-death behaviors involving alcohol and drugs. These energies often amplify impulsivity and risk-taking, serving as a catalyst for activities that reflect both escapism and reckless indulgence. While the trip may have been an attempt to heal or disconnect, it seems these Martian forces ultimately exacerbated the challenges he was facing.
Overall, I hope he is in a better place and condolences to Payne's family, the One Direction group, and fandom.

Seething Spirit
Tumblr media
Image © Paizo Publishing
[Thank you, Paizo, for introducing more types of incorporeal undead in PF2e. The fact that, by default, the seething spirit speaks Dwarven and Giant (well, Jotunn in PF2e) has some interesting world building implications.]
Seething Spirit CR 11 CE Undead (incorporeal) This reddish spectral figure is humanoid, its outline wavering as if seen through a shimmer of heat. Its eyes are furious, and its features contorted into a hateful grimace.
A seething spirit is an undead creature of pure anger. The souls that create seething spirits died in a state of extreme wrath, and the seething spirit carries that sentiment into the world. Seething spirits are particularly motivated by the specific target of anger—romantic resentment, a persecution complex, racism and straight-up spite are all common factors that might empower a seething spirit. Seething spirits remember little of their lives except their rage, and cannot be put to rest by resolving any unfulfilled business or the like. Seething spirits seek out people with similar resentments and possess them, turning them into a vessel to channel that anger into violence.
A seething spirit cannot willingly leave a possessed target, and so steers its host’s life into its campaign of hatred. They are excellent liars and capable of strategy, but often short-sighted and impatient around their focus of anger. Their ultimate goals are always violent ones, and if they can incite others into destructive mobs, all the better. A creature possessed by a seething spirit radiates rage as an almost palpable aura, and even their punches and kicks strike with the force of a greataxe. Appropriately enough for a being of extreme emotions, they are nearly powerless in the face of a calm emotions spell, which ejects them from their possessed hosts or tears away at their spiritual forms.
Seething Spirit                     CR 11 XP 12,800 CE Medium undead (incorporeal) Init +10; Senses darkvision 60 ft., Perception +13, taste anger Aura raging (20 ft., Will DC 23)

Ecology Environment any Organization solitary Treasure none
Special Abilities Furious Possession (Su) As a standard action, a seething spirit can attempt to possess an adjacent corporeal creature. This functions as a greater possession spell (DC 23), except that the possessed creature gains temporary hit points equal to the seething spirit’s HD, and whenever it deals damage with a melee weapon, natural weapon or unarmed strike, may choose to use the seething spirit’s incorporeal claw damage instead. A seething spirit cannot end its possession voluntarily. A creature that succeeds its saving throw cannot be possessed by that seething spirit for the next 24 hours. Temporary hit points granted by this ability refresh every 24 hours. The save DC is Charisma based. Incorporeal Claw (Ex) A seething spirit’s incorporeal touch attack deals slashing and piercing damage, and the damage is modified by the seething spirit’s Charisma bonus. Raging Aura (Su) When it is possessing a creature, the seething spirit radiates rage in a 20 foot aura. All creatures in the area must succeed a DC 23 Will save or suffer the negative effects of a barbarian rage, suffering a -2 penalty to Armor Class and being unable to use any any Charisma-, Dexterity-, or Intelligence-based skills (except Acrobatics, Fly, Intimidate, and Ride) or any ability that requires patience or concentration. A creature so affected gains a +2 morale bonus to all damage rolls against the seething spirit’s enemies. This lasts as long as the creature remains in the aura and for 1d4+1 rounds thereafter. A creature that succeeds its save is immune to the raging aura of that seething spirit for the next 24 hours. A creature that fails its save automatically fails its save against the raging aura of that seething spirit for the next 24 hours. This is a mind-influencing emotion effect, and the save DC is Charisma based. Taste Anger (Ex) A seething spirit can sense the presence of anger and hatred within 1 mile, and detect angry and hateful creatures within 30 feet as if it had blindsense. Vulnerable to Calm Emotions (Ex) A seething spirit cannot possess a creature under the effects of calm emotions, and if a creature it is possessing fails its saving throw against calm emotions, the seething spirit is ejected from its host. If a seething spirit outside of a host is targeted by calm emotions, it takes 10 points of damage per caster level (Will save for half damage).

History: Born to two fierce but loving parents, Maria's childhood was mostly uneventful. She was taught both strength and kindness by her mother and father, as well as language and culture by her maternal grandparents, who wanted to teach her about their heritage so she could carry it with her. Being born on the coastline, Maria originally had a natural affinity for water, and loved swimming whenever she could.
Her happy and calm childhood was then shattered by the death of her mother, who suffered an accident during a routine Lifeguard operation when Maria was ten. Devastated by the loss of one of her parents, Maria became cold and quick tempered, as well as developing a strong fear of the ocean now that it had robbed her of someone she loved. As a teenager, she became more withdrawn, less passionate, and unwilling to engage with the world.
And so, her father stepped in. Though he too was shaken by the loss of his wife, he knew he had to help his daughter in some way. For a brief period of time, he took her to the Naval base where he worked, in the hopes that a change of routine would be able to help her heal. Maria initially was resistant, and while the proximity to Navy sailors did not help her get over her fears, she was able to watch her father in his natural environment.
Instead of being angered, Maria found herself admiring his commitment to his role, and the way he was able to accept his emotions and still move forward, guiding those around him. She could not follow in his footsteps exactly, but witnessing his determination guided her to another alternative - at 18, she chose to join the Army as a Combat Medical Technician.
Throughout her training, she developed a keen understanding of those around her, learning to work with her fellow soldiers to get a grasp of their individual needs, and offer them the kind of care that worked for them. She made a commitment to treat all patients with compassion, regardless of differences, and is known for her gentle but firm demeanour, respecting the chain of command but not afraid to question it.
Her life takes an unexpected course change in 2016, when she pulls a certain skull-clad soldier out of the rubble of a collapsed building in Urzikstan. Unbeknownst to her, this is going to set off a chain of events that will take her to places she never imagined, and push her own morals to the very limits.

While [the Philippine Coast Guard or] PCG officials have stated that they are ‘preparing for the worst’ due to the massive oil spills, protesters have criticized the impacts of reclamation and other environmental degradation in various coastal communities, particularly in Central Luzon, Southern Tagalog, and NCR, in addition to the effects of the oil spills.
[These oil spills are part of the systematic failures and incompetence of the government in protecting the environment, as it prioritizes the interests of large corporations’ profits despite its greenwashing projects and programs] said Jonila Castro, spokesperson of Akap Ka Manila Bay and advocacy officer of Kalikasan People’s Network for the Environment (KPNE).
According to KPNE, [San Miguel Corporation or] SMC not only owned the cargo fuel but also chartered the vessel under adverse weather conditions during the onslaught of typhoon Carina.
The group further denounced PCG’s participation after the said vessel was found to be unregistered and lacked the necessary permits but was able to transport oil.
[PAMALAKAYA spokesperson Ronnel Arambulo] also noted that while the government has provided P15,000 in economic relief to those affected, this amount is inadequate given the ongoing scale of recovery as communities are still grappling with the long-term consequences of the oil spill.
Meanwhile, the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources noted the cost of damage to the livelihood of Manila bay fisherfolks reaching to ₱351 million. This further pose a threat to food security, people’s health and ecological destruction with the apparent damage to mangroves, seagrass, coral reefs and fisheries in Manila bay.
In Baseco, residents are grappling with a trifecta of environmental and social crises: from the relentless flooding brought about by typhoon Carina, ongoing reclamation projects in Manila Bay, and the escalating urban militarization.
[In Baseco, we also experience harassment from the military and threats from the 11th and 12th CMO, who orchestrate fake surrenderees. Is this what Marcos Jr. convey for ‘Bagong Pilipinas’ (New Society) under his administration?] [Michael Villagracia of Baseco People’s Alliance] posed a question.

why are you acting like straws are the most important thing here...? straws and stuff like it makes up like less than 1%, a fraction of a percent, of plastic waste. random people just trying to deal with their disability arent the problem, maybe its the big ass corporations that have infinitely more impact than just a single person? maybe its the ceos who are actively profiting off their companies constantly destroying the environment?
this individualistic view of climate change isn't helping anyone.. in fact, the idea of the carbon footprint was made by the fossil fuel industry to make consumers stop focusing on them and just worry about their own individual impact. you're playing into their hands...
Plastic straws may be small, but when we use billions of them per year they make a significant contribution to plastic waste.
Australians use about 10 million straws every day, or 3.5 billion a year. so fucking small anon
Plastic Straws are the 12th most common item found in plastic waste
single use plastic straws make up 7.5% of all Australian plastic waste.
"random people just trying to deal with their disability arent the problem, maybe its the big ass corporations that have infinitely more impact than just a single person? maybe its the ceos who are actively profiting off their companies constantly destroying the environment?"
heres my honest opinion. single use plastic straws should be banned. if you have a disability that leaves you immunocompromised and with motor skills ect ect that makes it a needed object, then you should be able to get some, for the same price as they currently are, but from a hospital or medical outlet. Such as a pharmacy with a "prescription". No increase in price.
If you are diagnosed with a disability that requires you to have the straws, its done without thought. Like no extra paper work. just like a tick on a form.
A big pack, not like 10, but like 50-100. Be honest how many are you personally using?
this individualistic view of climate change isn't helping anyone.. in fact, the idea of the carbon footprint was made by the fossil fuel industry to make consumers stop focusing on them and just worry about their own individual impact. you're playing into their hands...
But you are playing into their hands by not realising that everything we individually do will and does have an impact.

On the 13th of November, sixteen years ago, Assassin's Creed was released in North America for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
Tumblr media
The plot is set in a fictional history of real-world events, taking place primarily during the Third Crusade in the Holy Land in 1191. The player character is a modern-day man named Desmond Miles who, through a machine called the Animus, relives the genetic memories of his ancestor, Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad. Through this plot device, details emerge about a millennia-old struggle between two factions: the Assassin Brotherhood (inspired by the real-life Order of Assassins), who fight to preserve peace and free will, and the Templar Order (inspired by the Knights Templar military order), who seek to establish peace through order and control. Both factions fight over powerful artifacts of mysterious origins known as Pieces of Eden to gain an advantage over each other. The 12th-century portion of the story follows Altaïr, an Assassin, who embarks on a quest to regain his honour after botching a mission to recover one such artifact from the Templars; he does so by finding and assassinating nine targets across the Holy Land.
The gameplay focuses on using Altaïr's combat, stealth, and parkour abilities to defeat enemies and explore the environment. The game features counter-based hack-and-slash combat, social stealth (the ability to use crowds of people and the environment to hide from enemies), and a large open world comprising various regions of the Holy Land, primarily the cities of Masyaf, Jerusalem, Acre, and Damascus, all of which have been accurately recreated to fit the game's period. While most of the game takes place within a simulation based on Altaïr's memories, the player will occasionally be forced out of the Animus to play as Desmond in the modern day. Here, they are restricted to exploring a small laboratory facility, as Desmond has been kidnapped by a shady corporation looking for specific information within Altaïr's memories that will further their enigmatic goals.
Upon release, Assassin's Creed received generally positive reviews, with critics praising its storytelling, visuals, art design, and originality, while criticism mostly focused on the repetitive nature of its gameplay. Assassin's Creed won several awards at the 2006 E3 and several end-year awards after its release.

New Moon in Aries March 21st, 11'23AM EST
The new moon happening on March 21st at 11:23 EST is definitely a doozy, and setting the stage for the final moments of the big transition before Pluto enters Aquarius and Mars enters Cancer.
This new moon is initiating the astrological new year as the sun is entering Aries. With the new moon occurring on the zodiac sign of Aries, there are definitely a lot of martian themes in this new moon. This is all about revolution, dynamism, explosivity and change taking place on a global scale. These are going to be changes largely regarding structures and hierarchies in patriarchy and other masculine dominated ideologies. This is the time of conflict, battle, and a new cycle of war being initiated. The MC for this new moon is in the zodiac sign of Aries, denoting a time of massive pivotal change, particularly regarding power dynamics that we've been wrestling with as a collective. This sun and moon are square transiting Mars in Gemini by degree orb denoting that this is going to be a time of dominance being asserted over the people collectively through information. Be very cognizant of the information that you were absorbing during this time as it is being utilized to control you and your energy, keep hope, keep faith and stay organized and mobile. Pluto is sextile the sun and moon, creating opportunities for transformations around power dynamics that assists the collective.
With Mercury at 5° in Aries, the number five numerologically resonates with change, motion and movement. With Mercury here who rules the number five, there are a lot of changes to our thoughts, thinking habits and modes of communication. There could be a major change in how we communicate from this new moon, for instance, new communication technologies being introduced or destroyed. With Chiron conjunct Jupiter and Vesta, there is a massive healing going on collectively surrounding ideologies and philosophies about masculinity, war and domination and how we're going to be healing that. Are we going to continue to allow this loop to continue or are we going to break it? With all of this happening in the 10th house, we can expect government, policy and hierarchical structures to play a major part in this new moon. Are we building a future we want or fear?
Venus in her dignity is at 5 degrees, conjunct Juno at 5. This here speaks to a fortuitous and wonderful time to find romantic, long-term love and romance. This is also an excellent time to look for business partnerships as well as consolidate and make things official in connections. There is a very heavy financial theme to this new moon, and the corporate space is going to be making major moves in how we handle our values, particularly around the environment, beauty and pleasure. This is a wonderful time for us to get our finances in check, and maybe even get some spiritual financial blessings. Venus is square Pluto, showing that the collective is going through a transformation of our values, particularly how power structures negatively affects our money and ability to have pleasure. The stock market is going through instability. Venus is sextile Saturn showing that there's an opportunity to stabilize if we use our minds and souls wisdom as a collective. With all of this taking place in the 11th house, get out there and socialize! This means it is going to be encouraging us to step outside of our houses. Make those connections, and at the risk of being crass, making those physical connections.
With Mars in the 12th, be aware of dreams this new moon and be safe in the astral. Don't let past trauma run the show, as unsublimated anxiety can break you down.
With a cancer ascendant capping this new moon with Pallas athene in cancer square Jupiter and Chiron in Aries, this speaks to a time of justice surrounding local politicians, figures of nationalism, and figures who are oppositional to feminine rights. We can expect issues around reproductive rights to arise.

Memoirs of COP29: Baku
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
It has been an event of sorts, for some it was a beacon of hope, while for some it was an utter failure. While people and representatives are free to make their own opinion, but every coin has two sides. In Jain philosophy there’s a concept of “Syatwad” that advocates that there could be seven different perspectives of looking at anything in this world and all of them could be correct simultaneously. Thus, everyone can have their opinion and in spite of they being ironical or event appearing to be opposite, they all can be correct and we should have the courage to accept and appreciate other’s opinions as well. We also had mixed experience during the event, but compared to COP28: Dubai, this was relatively a low-key affair. Smaller venue, lesser crowd, higher security, high restrictions, much more compact and lesser participation. But we ended up achieving much more. Starting from media interview to presentation in both the zones (Blue & Green), Exploring the third zone (innovation zone), participating in side events, interaction with academia, and corporates as well as country representatives from across the globe.
Day-1
The US elections were on top of the mind for the opening speech, with Trump’s “drill baby drill” phrase being used to create ripples in the Climate Action fraternity.
But, frankly speaking, that’s just politics. The most consistent feature of the president-elect is his unpredictability. If he realises that he’s going wrong, he doesn’t mind taking a U-turn.
Moreover, promising money to COP, and funding two conflicts to create war, is anyways no better for the environment anyways.
So, the hope is still on, rest all is speculation. As we said earlier, COP needs a “path & pace correction”, moving from “emission focus” to “sequestration focus”!
The sooner they realize it, the better it is for the world.
Day -2
I understand that the post is delayed. I’m literally posting on end of Day 3, but as the engagement grows, it’ll be tough to post on the same day. It’s a happening event, the visitors get divided into Blue Zone, Green Zone and side events.
The security arrangements are much tougher than COP28, even for the Green Zone, which is usually open to all public. In Dubai, even with out an invite, you could get the pass right at the gate of Green Zone, but it isn’t the same at Baku. Even if you have the invite and a confirmation number, you can’t enter the green zone, till your passport details are not shared with the registration desk.
So, what happens to those who are unable to join in? The side events come to rescue their travel. On 12th November, 2024, we’ve had the following side events –
Achieving transformative climate action through gender responsive, rights-based economic approaches
Transition Away from Fossil Fuels: Technology & Market - Based instruments for Net-Zero Actions
Innovations to maximize tropical forests’ contribution to climate change mitigation and adaptation
What can Migrants and Displaced Persons bring to the Fund for Responding to Loss and Damage?
Decarbonization beyond the value chain: navigating between carbon credits and climate contributions
Climate Science: key take aways in 2024
A message from the Frozen World – the Global Impact of a Changing Cryosphere
Carbon Dioxide Removal: Considerations for Responsible Deployment on Land and Ocean
Towards real, people-led, gender just solutions
Raising the ambition of urban climate action through multilevel governance
Designing for Quality and Equity in Clean Cooking Carbon Projects
Sovereign Wealth Impact: Powering Finance for the SDGs
New Horizons in Methane-Emissions Abatement
Fostering Climate Adaptation and Resilience in Small Island States and Beyond
New Forest Economies: Subnational Government Strategies, REDD+, & Local Engagement
Leveraging blended finance: catalyzing sustainable investments for global impact
Making Climate Finance Work for Climate Action in Agriculture and Food Security
Now tell me, with so many events happenings, you meet hundreds of people, who are all sustainability professionals belonging to the same tribe. So, would you call it day utilized or wasted? So, the bottom line is, when you go with positive bent of mind, you can actually take advantage of the hurdles as well and make it and asset for yourself. That’s a learning from Day-2 of Baku.
Day -3 Very exciting day today, full of meetings, symposiums and focused discussions.
Key reports of the Standing Committee on Finance for COP29
Driving Gender-just Energy Transition through Financing and Capacity Building in the Global South
Trade and investment policies to advance climate ambition and sustainable development
Scaling up Nature Finance and Enterprise in the Amazon Basin and Beyond
Artificial Intelligence solutions to enable rapid scale up of Renewable Energy
Transformational Adaptation
Supporting Indigenous-Peoples led solutions to climate change and loss and damage
Ensuring Integrity in the Voluntary Carbon Market
Open access activity data and digital tools to help countries and other stakeholders meet their ETF
Unlocking the potential for financing methane mitigation from solid waste for the NDCs and beyond
Innovation Ecosystems for Climate Action: Digital Technologies, Industrial Solutions, and Governance
Scaling up climate action in fragile states: what are the hurdles and how to overcome them?
Innovative Pathways for Emission Reduction: Perspectives from NGOs, Government and Private Sector
Tackling Corruption: A Missing Piece in the Climate Finance Agenda
Fully funded, fair, fast, and feminist phase-out of fossil fuels in the United States
Recognizing Net Zero Ambition and Accelerating Progress
The teething troubles have been sorted out. Met some wonderful people doing great work in the environment sector from carbon capture to waste management to governance to finance. This is a platform to showcase the good work, unfortunately all people working on ground are not able to afford taking a stall here, because they’re working for saving the planet, and not making money.
Government and intergovernmental discussions happen in the Blue Zone, at least these people working on ground should get a place in the Green Zone. Or maybe create a White Zone from COP30, so that these wonderful works could be showcased and replicated across the globe. We’ve maximized the foot prints of pollution, now is the time to globalize the footprints of restoration too.
Met some good corporates from Azerbaijan, Saudi ad UAE, all keen to diversify towards NbS, which was a good surprise. In fact, even an industrial training institute was affirmative to add a course on NbS to their curriculum, which was quite unexpected. Met a few Environment Ministers from African Union too, who were keen on restoration of natural resources.
Day -4 A very happening day, full of professional, emotional, physical and mental roller-coaster rides.
The day started with a wonderful session on “Cooling the heat: Enhancing Energy Efficiency of Refrigeration and Cooling Sector”, followed by another session on “Drive climate ambition and finance”, then came a session on "Climate Finance for Fast Action", then came " Climate Technologies: Impact Stories", another on "Invest in Soil Health". Some sessions were happening parallelly too, fortunately we had a team of three. Side-by-side were also reaching out to MoEFCC to help us get through the Blue Zone badge for our session with Towards Healthy, Inclusive and Sustainable Food Systems: Agroecology, Soil Health, and Healthy Diets, organized by Coalition of Action 4 Soil Health (CA4SH), CIFOR-ICRAF, Agroecology Coalition, Youth in Agroecology and Restoration Network (YARN), The Indigenous Partnership for Agrobiodiversity and Food Sovereignty (TIP).
Also met a power company from Romania and explained our perspective of green energy, and how to make large scale solar plants and age-old hydro-power dam reservoirs more sustainable. After which we had to rush to Climate Action Innovation Hub for specialized events focused upon —Sustainable Innovation Forum 2024, Hydrogen Transition Summit and Agri-Food Systems Summit at Baku Mariott Boulevard.
The next hop was COP29 Flagship Friday Evening Event - Climate Finance & Innovation: Adaptation & Resilience, held at Ganjlik Plaza, 95 Ataturk Avenue, Baku, which was yet another experience. Wonderful people, great deliberations, interesting discussions and serious business propositions. It was organized by AIM (not Atal Innovation Mission) but Azerbaijan Innovation Markaz, something like Startup India, back home.
Finally, the business day was over after this. Had dinner at Nizami street and concluded the day.
Day -5
The day started with Council on Energy, Environment and Water (CEEW) hosted event, the second Edition of CEEW Leaders’ Dialogue, on the sidelines of COP29, held at Hyatt Regency, Baku.
The dialogue hosted thought-provoking conversations with domain experts including Dr Arunabha Ghosh, Founder-CEO, CEEW, who deliberated on Accelerating the low-carbon drive of Bharat towards Viksit Bharat, followed by an elaborate panel discussion on Trillions for billions: Setting financing for development back on track. The second panel discussed upon the subject of “One size does not fit all: Crafting bespoke national energy transition plans”. Later we had deliberation on Water matters: Valuing sustainable and resilient water infrastructure, moderate by Nitin Bassi, Senior Programme Lead – Sustainable Water, CEEW, after which we had to rush back to green zone for a presentation.
At the green zone, we had an opportunity to interact with the teams of “Viveka Company Creation Program”, “Innovation and Digital Development Agency” of Azerbaijan (an initiative of Azerbaijan Innovation Center or the Azerbaijan Innovation Markazi, inaugurated on 2nd October, 2024 to boost up the startup ecosystem in the country) and a lot of sustainability startups being nurtured by Viveka, because “Viveka Company Creation Program” is a unique program for startups that want to advance from the early stage to the MVP, i.e. the minimum viable product stage. These startups were primarily from Azerbaijan, Turkey and Kazakhstan.
The startups included precision agriculture domain to Water treatment, oil sludge treatment, irrigation with AI integration and many other sustainability domain technologies.
