21 cases of Covid-19 subvariant JN. 1 detected in India, authorities on high alert
With the fresh cases of coronavirus subvariant JN.1 emerging in India, Indian authorities have been on high alert. The subvariant JN. 1 is being investigated by the scientific community as the authorities work on curbing its spread already. As per NITI Aayog member (health) Dr V K Paul, as of now, 21 cases of COVID-19 JN.1 sub-variant have been detected in the country. The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) is focused on the genome sequencing of the variant.
Out of the 21 cases, 19 cases have been detected in Goa while Kerala and Maharashtra have recorded one each.
First found in late 2023, the JN.1 (BA.2.86.1.1) variant of COVID-19 is a descendant of the BA.2.86 lineage (Pirola) of SARS-CoV-2. The BA.2.86 lineage (Pirola) first emerged in August 2023 and showed more than 30 mutations in the spike (5) protein unlike the SARS-CoV-2 Omicron XBB lineages. The mutations make the variant highly risky with a high potential for immune evasion.
The JN.1 subvariant has been classified as a variant of interest by the World Health Organization.
Head of Pulmonary Medicine at Safdarjung Hospital, Dr. Rohit Kumar said, “COVID is an RNA virus that changes its form from time to time, and new variants of it emerge. And now a new variant has emerged, which has been named JN.1. However, not a single case has come to light in the capital, Delhi yet.”
"We are on alert, keeping an eye on the Corona cases. Testing of patients is also being done, and the patients who are coming positive are also being sent for genome sequencing. So that new variants can also be detected, but till now no case of new variants has been reported in Delhi," Dr Kumar said.
"If there is a sore throat, cough, cold, chest pain, or difficulty breathing, consult the doctor immediately. Especially those already suffering from respiratory diseases and asthma patients need to take special care. The doctor mentioned that during this season, individuals with serious diseases should be more careful, as those dying due to Covid often have pre-existing serious conditions such as heart disease and diabetes," he added.

COVID – 19: EFFECT ON REAL ESTATE SECTOR
As we all know that outbreak of COVID19 in Wuhan and the recent spread in almost all countries has impacted the entire industries and the business sentiment. In India all industries shut down for time being during lockdown and affected by this pandemic diseases. As we know that Real estate is an emotion based sector and in past few days overall market is fluctuating in high frequency. Those who are having habit of investing in a stock market, has switched their portfolio towards real estate, as they feel some restriction as freedom, because mostly investor needs to allow someone else to manage and control of their fund and this situation may create some demand of Real estate properties (residential or commercial) and maybe a good option for buyers to invest in real estate residential and commercial properties.
This is well known that a stock pays dividends but a commercial real estate which has managed with rental support can gives better & stable revenue in the form of rental Incomes. Rented property profits normally remains greater than dividend yields.
The Real Estate Regulation and Development(RERA) Act 2016, provides for 1 year extension in project execution timelines, in case of events beyond the promoter’s control so regulatory risks maybe reduce in case of a short-term disruption.
Real estate sectors request from the Indian government to survive the lockdown, these are- • Asking for tax benefit under the Income tax act •Reduce GST and waive off •Reduce stamp duty for temporary period •RBI should provide banks relaxation in bad-debt norms for few months •One-time restructuring of stressed developers loans •Direct banks to lend more to NBFC
Here we listed some opportunity given by real estate to developer due to COVID 19-
1. The Possibility of NRI Will come back to India is high and probably they will invest in real estate to utilize savings.
2. People will approach this option of earning where Axis Blues(Real Estate developer in Goa) offers best suitable project as individuals feels more Security in regular and passive income.
3. Share market fluctuations affected much business so investing in real estate may bring investors into really investment. 4. Real estate experts saying that there are some good deals available in the market and the scope for negotiations is high so buyers can approach for these deals. 5. The fall down of Indian rupees against the US dollar is a factor of considerable interest for NRIs considering Indian real estate as the most sensible investment option.
And many more positive aspects can be placed. So we can say that, this pandemic may give proactive opportunity to buyers and sellers.
AxiseCorp is the leading
Real Estate developer in Goa
offers high standards Resort living with world class residential and commercial real estate properties and hospitality to their customers.
It would be unfair to predict much more on Corona virus’s impact on Real estate till Indian government announced for lifting lockdown and take any economic action on this sector.

However, it is not clear how the clinical trials can be completed and the vaccine released on 15 August when the normal period for a vaccine to be approved is 12 to 18 months. Several experts have questioned the ICMR's timeline, asking if the efficacy of the vaccine is "pre-decided" and cautioned it from applying "excess pressure". Over seven vaccines are being researched in India and only Bharat Biotech's COVAXIN and Zydus' ZyCoV-D have got the go-ahead to start human clinical trials, just this week. Globally, over 100 candidates are being tested on humans but no vaccine has yet been approved. Speaking to Firstpost, Bharat Biotech chairman Dr Krishna Ella, said said that COVAXIN was reported to be safe and immunogenic in all animals. "We have now moved forward towards the clinical development of this vaccine," he added. Phase 1 and 2 clinical trials of Covaxin in COVID-19 patients will begin this month. According to PTI, Zydus said that is planning to initiate the clinical trials in July 2020 across multiple sites in India in over 1,000 subjects, however, the company did not say when the vaccine will be ready for commercial use, unlike Covaxin, which is targeting for release on 15 August. The vaccine candidate, ZyCoV-D, showed a "strong immune response" in animal studies, and the antibodies produced were able to completely neutralise the wild type virus, Zydus said. Goa Tourism Reopens: All You Need to Know
Goa’s government closed down Goa tourism for three whole months due to ever-increasing corona cases. But now we have some great news for beach lovers. Your favorite beach location is back into action. We at India by Car and Driver mean its tourism is reopening. So let’s see the new protocols together.
New government rules for Goa tourists
Goa is one of the most well-known visitor places in India. Goa offers you beautiful beaches, incredible sceneries, tasty seafood, the best nightlife, and spine-chilling adventure.
Tumblr media
However, if you want to visit Goa these days, you must be fully vaccinated, and your vaccination should be at least 14 days before entry. So now, let’s look at the guidelines.
●       Like we mentioned above, your complete vaccination should be at least 14 days before entry, and you must not show any symptoms without quarantine.
●       You must show a negative corona report upon entry.
●       You must wear a face cover, maintain at least 6-feet distance from others and sanitize yourself from time to time.
●       If you are from Kerala, you must show a negative RT-PCR report.
●       You must show covid-19 vaccine certification.
Reopened tourist places in Goa
Goa’s government has opened several tourist attractions in Goa. So buy one of the best India Tour Packages from our Tour Agent in India and enjoy these destinations.
●       You can relax at the beaches of Goa, but unfortunately, beach activities are banned due to heavy rainfall, but hey, something is better than nothing.
●       The bars are open, but the capacity is now 50% for your safety, but there are many bars in Goa, so that you will find at least one with a vacancy. The schedule is 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM.
●       The gyms are open again with 50% capacity for your safety. As India by Car and Driver, we strongly advise you to follow the protocols.
●       You can eat and drink at the restaurant and cafe, but casinos are closed, poor unlucky gamblers are within us.
●       Here’s sad news in between, river cruises, water parks, and entertainment parks will remain closed till further notice, and so will the casinos.
●       Similar to the above point, spas and massage parlors will remain closed till further notice.
●       Unfortunately, you can not watch a movie in the cinema and go to entertainment zones and multiplexes within malls.
●       You can explore the tourist attractions while following the guidelines.
Latest update on Goa’s traveling & touring
Let’s get you updated on Goa’s tourism situation.
●       The bulk of Goa’s citizens are vaccinated with at least one dose of vaccination. The rest of the population will get immunized within 90 days, as per statistics.
●       The government of Goa has taken strict measures to give appropriate covid-19 behavior, and Goa’s hotels strictly follow standard operating procedures.
●       Goa’s government is running a state campaign under which the state’s citizens will prioritize vaccination.
●       The government is planning to make tourism sustainable to avoid tourism closing conditions in the future.
●       Goa’s flight sector will open airlines for overseas tourists soon. It is because the flight industry suffered heavy losses during the lockdown. The 77 flights per day are now 30 flights per day. However, all the flights except one have restarted.
●       There was a lockdown in Goa till 16th August 2021, but certain places are getting exceptions. Tourist activities and businesses will restart in phases.
●       You cannot stay in hotels, resorts, and guesthouses that haven’t been registered with the tourist department. If you remain in a non-registered hotel, motel, or guest house, it will be a criminal offense, and you know the rest.
Now only one doubt remains, are you ready to go to Goa? If yes, then the Royal Rajasthan & Taj With Goa Tour Package is your best option as you will not only visit Goa but many exotic places in Rajasthan, all the best.
