@ USAmericans that are following me, if you (like me) get anxious you'll somehow have issues with a mail-in or drop-off ballot: I forgot that in a lot of places (here's a site to check!) early in-person voting is an option, so I figured maybe you did too!

Lines are MUCH shorter than election day,

which means it's quick and you have more time to look things up at the voting booth if necessary,

and you have a LOT more ability to find a time that works for you than if you just vote on Nov. 5th (which I would be have been almost completely unable to go out and vote on).

Early voting y'all it kicks ass. A quick google of "early voting (my city/county" immediately brought up the exact address, days and hours of where it was available. Will definitely patronize the fine folks at my local polling center again in four years assuming that. Things go well. And we still have a democracy in four years. OTL

#USpol #US pol #LOVE poll workers love the extremely clear signage at my polling place and the people positioned every fifteen feet or so #whose whole job is to nod at me and go 'yup you're in the right place go right around that corner and see the first open person at the desk #nothing assuages my 'I'm going to mess up this important process and go to jail probably' anxieties #like having someone give me clear directions and instructions every step of the way. bless.#anyway I was scheduled to work a 12-hour night shift on either side of election day because that's how my schedule works #and by hell or high water I was going to make it out to vote anyway but like MAN it's a relief to be able to go in person but not uhhh #at the cost of coming back to work wildly sleep deprived. LOVE that shorter line A+ process.#Anyway I don't often make posts about real life around here but I did fully forget this was an option so I thought I would shout it out!

wicked used real sets and props I dont understand why they would make it look so fake with their colour grading

!!! okay this is so wild to me because I also just saw a post saying that the director planted 9 million tulips for the movie and I desperately need to know what they did to this film during post-production because despite all of these supposed practical effects and real sets every shot I've seen looks like bland cgi. the colors look horrible and washed out. why do so many movies and shows look like this now I need someone to tell me.

I think it would be hilarious if tomorrow (or whenever Pac comes back) he and Fit go to whatever place Ramon has prepared for their talk and they’re sitting there and Fit’s stammering and right as he’s about to say how he feels the eyeball guys show up and attack them. I just think that would be a really brilliant interaction. Like:

if you, your child, or anyone you know and plan to hang out with are coughing/sneezing rn... please consider NOT going to a public place like a cafe! or, send the healthy one inside MASKED.

baristas and line cooks and register workers and servers and all service workers are PEOPLE WHO CAN AND DO GET SICK.

- sincerely, a cafe worker who is immunocompromised, needs to be healthy for an upcoming procedure, and whose coworkers pretty much are all sharing a flu

#ok to rb #our shift manager has a fever and is trying to keep themself scarce but no one can cover for them #i know at least 4 coworkers have for sure a flu (fever + vomiting)#and the amount of people who cough/sneeze uncovered directly facing workers and food displays is ungodly high #also please. little children. i understand that masking them is hard and teaching them to cover coughs and sneezes is hard but PLEASE DO IT #do you know how many kids cough all over the damm place here #also our bakery case has gaps around the corners and i swear these children inevitably cough into those gaps

I love you NPCs in Tears of the Kingdom getting surprised when you move stuff close to them I love you Minecraft dogs shaking themselves dry after being drenched in water I love you Sims 2 Sims giggling after calling in sick to work I love you Oshawott throwing its scallop in the air and catching it in its Black and White idle animations I love you Sooza from MSM looking out of breath after playing its part I love you Virtual Villagers doing their laundry once the second hut has been built I love you tiny details in games that aren't necessary to gameplay but give it personality
