EXCITING NEWS!!

I am making something I've been meaning to make for a long time since I started Cosplaying as Corazón last year.

And it became even more imperative that I do this now because..

I'm meeting Ray Chase next week.

The man who voices this 9ft tall clumsy blonde.. and I'm gonna make something for him bc Cora has become a dear character to my heart (hah) eber since ive started to drool over Law..

The reason is bc he taught me that no matter what your background is you can always do something better in your life, whether if it's something small, or big and drastic like saving a child. I don't think there's that intense connection for me like Corazón has with any other character I hyperfixates over.

The year seems to want to end as quickly as possible. In the last month of 2024, I found myself racing with time to finish everything that I want to do. It's quite perplexing to realize that December will end in the next three-ish weeks, and I battle with the idea of 2024 ending. That said, there is a rushed feeling of doing cosplay projects.

A lot, if not all of the characters I did for the year may have to end as a trial. Too many things are missing for their outfits (mostly accessories), and I feel like my own make-up skills, though highly improved, still lack to give these characters justice (at least, to the point that I prefer.)

Nevertheless, to be able to have the chance to try on these characters again is a feat worthy of a celebration.

Transforming to Trafalgar Law will always surprise (and mildly spook) me, because I try to find a bit of myself in every character I cosplay, but seem not to see it when I put on Law. It's weird, but equally satisfying. It's somehow fulfilling the catfish vibes lol

I got my hands on a shorter blond wig recently and thought it suited the last fem!Cora costrial better. I still want to find a short male blond wig so I can finally make an original male version, though idk why but having to portray a tall blond man is the most intimidating for me. Maybe it's the idea that Corazon should have sharper, adult-looking features, which is a struggle to achieve.

These characters continue to be my comfort characters at the moment. Joining a community of fellow enthusiasts and seeing them share their love for both Law and Corazon has compelled me to continue making more projects featuring them. Truly, the epitome of love.

I hope the year has been kind to you. Maybe it's inevitable to feel the rush of the holidays, but I hope that you will continue to take it at your own pace. Never falter.
