आजकल आए दिन ये खबर हमारे सामने आ ही जाती हैं कि गूगल प्ले स्टोर पर कई ऐसी फेक ऐप्स मौजूद हैं जो यूजर्स की निजी जानकारी चुराकर उन्हें हैकर्स तक पहुंचाती हैं। ने कुछ ही समय पहले 164 ऐप्स को अपने प्ले स्टोर से हटाया है। इन ऐप्स को 10 करोड़ से ज्यादा बार डाउनलोड किया गया था। इन्हें CopyCatz ऐप कहा जाता है।

ये ऐप्स, नोटेबल ऐप्स की प्रतिलिपि बनाती हैं और फिर यूजर्स को ट्रिक कर उन्हें अप्रत्याशित विज्ञापन दिखाते हैं। ये ऐप्स जो विज्ञापन दिखाते हैं वे मालवेयर से प्रभावित हो सकते हैं और यूजर्स के डाटा को नुकसान पहुंचा सकते हैं। वैसे तो गूगल ने इन सभी ऐप्स को अपने प्लेटफॉर्म से रिमूव कर दिया है। लेकिन फिर भी अगर यूजर ने इन्हें अपने फोन में डाउनलोड किया हुआ है तो उन्हें इन ऐप्स को अपने फोन में से डिलीट करना होगा। तो आइए जानते हैं इन 37 ऐप्स के बारे में।

कुछ ही दिन पहले हटाई थीं इंस्टैंट लोन ऐप्स: इन ऐप्स से पहले गूगल ने अपने प्ले स्टोर से 100 इंस्टैंट लोन ऐप्स को रिमूव कर दिया था। इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स और सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी मंत्रालय (MeitY) के अनुसार, ये लोन ऐप्स यूजर्स का निजी डाटा चुराती थीं और उस डाटा का गलत इस्तेमाल कर लोगों को धमकी देने में, ब्लैकमेल करने में इस्तेमाल करती थीं। मंत्रालय का कहना था कि उन्हें Google के ऐप प्लेटफॉर्म पर उपलब्ध कुछ इंस्टेंट लोन ऐप्स द्वारा धोखाधड़ी की सार्वजनिक शिकायतें मिल रही थीं।

Barcode scanner ऐप को किया गया रिमूव: गूगल प्ले स्टोर से Barcode scanner ऐप को रिमूव कर दिया गया है। यूजर्स ने इस ऐप पर संदिग्ध विज्ञापनों की और एडवेयर की शिकायत की थी। एक मालवेयरबाइट्स फोरम यूजर ने जंक विज्ञापनों को खोलने वाले डिफॉल्ट ब्राउजरों के इस अनएथिकल विहेवियर का पता लगाया था। यह सब यूजर के फोन में Barcode scanner ऐप के जरिए हो रहा था। जब इसे प्ले स्टोर से रिमूव किया गया था तब इसके 10 मिलियन डाउनलोड थे।
