Eventually the two teens sat down, both suddenly feeling exhausted and overwhelmed by the immense weight of reality.

Pregnant. A baby.

Kit finally broke the silence. "What now?" Penelope shook her head and let out a sigh: "I... I don't want to get rid of this baby, Kit. I know it might be the better choice as we're so young still. And I don't want to put any responsibility on you. But... I just can't do it. This is my choice."

"But..." Kit's mind was racing. Penelope shouldn't raise a baby on her own. And he had always thought he'd have kids later, but could he be a father already? "We're just kids ourselves, Pen. We did one grown-up thing and we already messed it up."

Penelope sprang to her feet, clinging her fists in frustration. "No Kit, we didn't mess anything up. We were responsible. This just happened. And now we have to make choices. And that's exactly what my family will take away from me. When they find out, they will send me away, make me have an abortion and I don't know, marry me off to get rid of me or something. Anything to avoid a scandal."

The idea of losing all control of her own life was a lot more scary to Penelope than the idea of having a child as a teen. Even on her own. She didn't know how to communicate this to Kit and in her desperation, she reached for her head with both hands. What a mess.

"Pen..." There was so much he wanted to say, but Kit wasn't able to put his thoughts into the right order, into any order. Penelope looked at him for a moment, her face suddenly turning stern, a determined look in her eyes.

"It's ok. This isn't your fault and it's not your problem. I'm not going to drag you down with me, Kit. But I can't stay. I'm leaving tonight and I'm going to raise this baby better than any Landgraab ever could."

It was as if lightning struck a second time. Kit inhaled sharply. What was she saying? Running away on her own? To where? How? Alone? "Pen, don't..."

But she had already turned around and started to walk away from him. "I understand, Kit. It's okay. I'm sorry."

Kit wanted to run after her. Grab her arm and make her stay. Make her stay with him. But his body didn't move. He was frozen in place, trying desperately to process what he just learned, what he was feeling, what he had to do.

The save is 100% CC free! Please note that I do have all expansions, packs, and kits (except for Castle Estate, Goth Galore + Crystal Creations.) For any items you don't own the game will try to auto find replacements for those items. The file is mostly blank this time around but does include the original EA builds in university and vacation type worlds (sans Granite Falls.)

Included is a folder of completely optional skin details/eyelashes for the neighbor sims. Thank you to @faaeish, @pyxiidis, @tamo-sim, and @landgraabbed! There are 4 pieces of CC I cannot include in the folder due to creator TOU. Please check the included "Read Me" file for more information.

⚠️ A couple of disclaimers here due to some existing EA bugs. EDIT 4/25: Included in that link are directions on how to avoid TOOL'd items from disappearing. If you want to keep powerlines and such please check this out! ⚠️

Everything was tested to work around these, but I wanted to put them out there as an FYI.

Originally founded as an art college, this academic institution has offered teens a place to expand their horizons since 1955. We've since expanded our academics to include a well rounded program of athletics, humanities, STEM, and more! Enroll today and experience a new angle of life.

Built for The Neighborhood Save, a 50s Modernist inspired high school for your youths! A matching auditorium is planned.

The school features:

Full gym including equipment and locker rooms

Black box theater

Cafeteria and "kitchen"

Library

4 classrooms (science/math, history/literature, tech and art)

4 unique club rooms for students (LGBTQ+, Music, Logic and Jock)

Admin offices and teachers lounge

4 extra curricular set ups (greenhouse, cheer mat, fundraising table, stargazing tent)

The classrooms were made with the High School More Classmates mod in mind. The mod isn't required for functionality and you can delete the white boards of whatever classes you don't want. And might I suggest @cowplant-snacks wonderful teen townies to go along with it?

Graduation came that year, and it was the final, gasping end to a year that was unebelievably heavy with tension. Copperdale High, class of 20XX. Evan and Toby drifted apart after he quit the team, but he became closer to Jay. As did Shannon. Evan and McKynsleigh would stay with each other up until they went to college. Evan left for British Columbia. McKynsleigh stayed in the area. She just couldn't bear to leave home. And Konner...well, he didn't graduate that year, not even in absentia, thanks to his shit performance, and his impending trial, at which, he was to be tried as an adult. The stain he was leaving on the Prescott name was indelible.

i started with my go-to simlicy save, so most of the residential lots and many of the community lots are by simlicy. i agonized over lot placement and number of each type of lot; i only ever play one family so it makes sense for me to have fewer residential lots and tons of community lots. i'm missing a lot of packs so this is pretty carefully curated to fit with what i do have (i'm used to replacing wallpaper and some furniture for most gallery builds but if it's missing much more than that I try a different lot). i love community lots that a) have things for sims to do and b) look pretty. all of these fit and i highly recommend every single one!!

Copperdale High is a pretty average small-town school. It's a little worse for wear but is still home to the students of Copperdale. 

The original school is too damn BIG. I hate when my sim takes half the school day to get to their classroom on the other side of the goddamn planet. This school lot uses space much more efficiently. The main hallway features the cafeteria and offers easy access to the principal's office, bathroom, and both classrooms. Head upstairs for an old gym and nurse's office and a more updated media center. Students technically aren't allowed in the basement...but truant sims can find a little hangout. 

I'll be releasing a matching auditorium lot soon!

This lot uses no cc! It does use a lot of packs/kits but don't fret! You can see the packs used in the last picture.

Here are the packs you probably need if you don't want a bunch of items missing: Growing Together, High School Years (duh), Discover University, Get Famous, City Living, Get Together, Get to Work, Strangerville, Vampires, Dine Out, Spa Day.

All other packs use some minor decor.

As he stepped outside, Kit noticed Penelope standing there. He hadn't expected to see her today. At school, they usually didn't interact, to keep up the appearance of the 'Dreamers vs Landgraabs'-dynamic. Except for Ezra and Elisabeth and of course Zinnia, no one at school knew about the friendship, let alone the romance.

Still, after what just happened at Career Day, Penelope was a sight for sore eyes. There wasn't anyone around, so Kit walked up to her.

Kit: "Hey, nice to see you! Did your class end early today?" Penelope: "..." Kit (noticing the redness of her eyes): "Pen, have you been crying? Are you ok?" Penelope (slowly shaking her head, looking at him with a sadness he had never seen): "Yes. And not really." Kit (increasingly worried): "What happened? Who made you cry? I'll kick their ass, boy or girl!"

As he asked his questions, he stepped closer towards her. To his surprise, she moved back a step, putting some more distance between them. Kit stopped in his tracks, confused. Had he done something wrong? He desperately tried to remember what he had done or said recently that could have made her so sad.

Penelope avoided his gaze and looked pale. He wanted to take her into his arms and tell her that it, whatever it was, was going to be ok. If only they didn't have to hide... "Wait," Kit inhaled sharply, "did they find out about us?"

Penelope bit her lip. "Can we talk somewhere else?" She looked over at the small hill a little to her right. Behind it, there was a small open air theatre area that was practically never used. Kit nodded and followed her there. The silence was killing him, but he waited until she started to talk.

"They don't know... yet," she said, "but... But we won't be able to hide anything anymore very soon." She still avoided his gaze, waving her hands around nervously. "I...," she started again, but the words seemed to get stuck in her throat. "I... am... pregnant."

Kit stared at her for a few moments. Or did he stare through her? Into some unreal distance? Had he heard this right? "How?" Penelope gave him a look. "We woohoo'd, remember?" Kit nodded: "Of course I remember, I... But we were safe... We used... It was safe!"

"Don't you think that I thought that too? I bought the best stuff, I had done my research. I don't know what happened. But I've been peeing on so many of those little sticks and they ALL gave me the same result. I... I..."

Penelope suddenly started to cry, fruitlessly trying to wipe her tears, unable to say another word. She was trembling and looked like she could collapse any moment. Kit rushed towards her, putting his arms around her and pulling her as close to him as he could. She buried her face in his sweater, softly sobbing. He felt her grab on to him with a desperation that reminded him of when his father finally had come home and had hugged him. "It's ok, Pen, it's ok," he kept repeating.

It was all a dream for Cass. Malcolm was saying all the right things, but it just...it wasn't coming from the right person. It wasn't coming from the person that she really wanted.

She heard someone clear their throat and snap their fingers beside her, and she didn't even need to look up to know that it was her Uncle. He had never approved of Malcolm or this whole arrangement, but Michael Bachelor had lived up to his last name for the last twenty years, and was showing no signs of changing.

Running a ranch in Chestnut Ridge after retiring from being a professional soccer player was a dream life for him, and it suited him just fine. He did, however, still own several properties in both Willow Creek and Oasis Springs - including the apartment building that Cass had been living in for her time at Canyon Ridge High School.

Cassie hated the way that Malcolm talked about her Uncle, but she knew why. Michael had made his own money, as her mother had taken most of the Bachelor fortune when she married her father, and Michael continued to only amplify his own growth by staying far away from society. He moved all the way out to Chestnut Ridge to get away from everything and everyone and had never been married.

But, Cassie adored her Uncle and was so thankful for everything that he did for her. She wanted to be exactly like him when she grew up - a person that made her own path in the world. If only she had the choice.

They all piled into his car to take the drive to the auditorium in Copperdale where the prom would be waiting for them - and Dina.

Her little brother, Marco is eating candy for breakfast and swinging his legs in the passenger seat. It’s his first day of school at Copperdale Middle, having turned twelve over the summer. The youngest isn’t so young anymore. Indie rock is playing through the radio. [ANIMALS BY NEON TREES] MARCO: Can I change the station? TATI: No! MARCO: But it’s so bad. TATI: Well, when you learn to drive you can choose the songs! MARCO: But that’s three years away! TATI: Aw. Boo-hoo! Enjoy your youth, bug! MARCO: Yuck! Don’t call me that! Tati honks the horn as someone cuts her off.

TATI: C'mon, man! Marco starts to lean toward the radio. TATI: Don’t even think about it. Marco successfully changes it to rap. [WORK OUT BY J COLE PLAYS] TATI: NOOOO MY TUNES Marco laughs. Tati drops off her brother at Copperdale Middle and purposefully shouts ‘I love you!’ to embarrass him as he runs to meet his friends. -A few minutes later she parks in ‘STUDENT PARKING’ at Copperdale High. She texts Gia and Sam to find out where to meet them. She grabs her bag and her senior year schedule before slamming the door to her green truck—a hand me down, driven by her brothers before they moved out. As she walks toward the auditorium to meet up with her friends, her boyfriend Omar sneaks up and surprises her with a hug. TATI: WH- OMAR: Hey! Missed you. TATI: Missed you, too. TATI: Don’t go on vacation ever again. OMAR: It was only for two weeks! TOBY: They'll ask you to speak once, we'll mingle, then we'll go! Big bang, couple hours down the drain, and that'll be it.

EDDIE: if I puke you're cleaning it. TOBY: (snorts) Yes, I said that in my wedding vows.

SHANNON: Oh I fucking hate all these people, Toby. TOBY: Me too, babe. Me too.

ALUMNUS: ...and I love your work, Eddie. I have a print in my hall. EDDIE: Oh! That's really cool. Thank you.
